So much fun at Christmas time! All the lights are spectacular!!

Loved this park but this is what they could improve:

Better operations on Copperhead Strike. Those types of rollercoasters shouldn't be stacking on the breaks.

Better food outlets. Cedar fair aren't that good at food.

More vigilant against queue jumpers. They jump the line a lot at Fury 325. Once they get past the entrance attendant they jump into quick pass as platform staff don't check wristbands.

Super fun place for all ages! Summer specials are the best bang for your buck here too.

I love Carowinds, especially when it's not crowded. Great coasters and a bunch of other rides and stuff for all ages with Camp Snoopy. We'll run and very clean and safe on my visits.

Scarowinds is fun but they need to mix it up a lil bit more. More haunted houses better use of their space why can't they use the water park area? and the traffic getting out shouldn't take over an HR to get out...

First time ever being to this park. Was definitely worth while. Luckily the lines were short

Breathtaking

I love it. I like to ride everything. I usually pack my food and drinks and eat in the car. It can get expensive if you have children. I have 5. You can get free water all day long that's great. If you go when it first opens the lines are not long and it's very cool. Great hangout spot. Also, the seasonal passes are great to have if you live near by. We enjoy Carowinds and we go at least twice a year!

The coasters are great, but the food options and shade are limited, but my biggest complaint is that it's gotten waaay overpriced over the years for what it is. The waits for the water park were insane, with no shade or fans

Park and rides are nice.. when you get discount tickets.. great day of family fun..I didn't like having to pay$20 dollars to park...

Better rides than Disney and less than half the time for waiting

Rides are fun and all but I was in the lazy river and a little boy with no float was drowning I picked him up and he coughing up water. There s a life guard who is just standing there watching me and did nothing. Then I take the little boy to another life guard to see if they can find his parents and I m also gonna try to explain what happen. Well the life guard is foreign and can t understand a thing I m saying and doesn t help at all. I have no problem with foreign people working there but they need to be able to have a conversation in English if things happen like this. So I won t be going back to the water park again. I want my money back.

Today was awesome. Roller coasters were great, crowd was small so we definitely got our coaster fix. The only bad thing was the burger and fries from Harmony Hall. Way to expensive for cold fries and undercooked meat. I threw mine away. That is the only reason I give 4 stars.

Went with my church family and we had a ball! The concert that night was For King and Country !!!!! They were awesome!! Fantastic praise and worship group! I can t wait to see them again at Carowinds!

Had a great time with my family. The lines weren t long at all, we went on almost every ride.The food is very expensive, but I expected that. We ll be going again after May 19 when the water park opens.

I loved the balck beards revenge but the amusement park is so fun

My daughter and I made a recent visit for a day trip. Loved it! Had a blast! Very clean... Well staffed... friendly... couldn't be more satisfied. Thanks guys. First class.

This place was so fun but it was really expensive because if u want to acctually enjoy ure time here u have to get the fast pass which is like 99$ from what I remember but advice from me don't let the rides scare u out of going on them because I'll regret not riding something before u leave I did see some rides break down but it was just the roller coaster getting stuck and when I went one of the slides were shut down but great experience and do not go with a hangover that makes things not as fun lol

Outstanding variety of rides, and excellent roller coasters.

Amazing!!! So many rides, games, and different places to eat. There is a water park if you want to just go and soak up the sun. In the evening dancers and singers come out for you to interact with and enjoy. While you're there check out the concerts they may have touring Carowinds for some extra fun. Got a season pass this year and plan on going often. Best money spent in a long time. Will make some great memories with the family this year! Also, security is stricter this year which makes it even better.

Great friendly place for your family and you. But look on line to get the best deals

Amazing experience at the water park and amusement park! Prepare for more queuing for riders than actually enjoying the rides.

Carowinds is awesome! We go on a Tuesday and get on rides quickly. We always get the all day dining because it makes the most sense.

It's not as great as it used to be but its still pretty good, or at least winterfest was

I feel like it could be a little more organized at times and they need more lifeguard and staff but beside that it is a grate place for family fun

Family friendly, fun and thrilling. There are 3 rollercoasters that you must ride. Go to the water park during summer. Highly recommended.

Great park but be warn of the heat during the summer!

Carowinds is Carowinds. A crowded amusement park, but they have great rides and a fabulous waterpark. You can 't carry anything at all in to eat and the food prices are ridiculously high. I always say that these parks could learn a thing or two by visiting Disney. Plus some of the teenage workers should be run off with a stick. Rude, hateful, racist to say the least

It was ok! The wait is way to long! The food and drinks are way to high! But the meal deals and drink cups are pretty sweet! Rides are not for wide folks! If you got big hips you won't be riding most coasters! Not cool!

Some of the coasters were closed down which is why I give 4 stars.. but we ALWAYS have fun when we go and the ride times weren't too bad on the 2 big coasters we got to ride. The Copperhead Strike is definitely worth the wait!

It was scarowinds fun but too busy to ride more than a few rides the dressed up employees were very helpful though and I enjoyed my night out with my friends

Very nice and lots of fun. There is lots of construction going on right now though so expect not all gates to be open. Great plans for food and games as well

I had best time at Carowinds despite the oppressive heat. I met Kirk Franklin and Bone Hampton!!

There are no signs directing you where to park so you are on your own finding a spot. The park was in good shape, just very busy. At the end of the day, be prepared to wait as there are, again, hardly any signs on where the parking lot exit is. There were no traffic teams to speed up the process, either. We spent 30 minutes trying to leave in the traffic.

Terrible customer service. Paid for a drain pass and wasn t allowed in because I moved and my last name was legally changed and my pass was confisticated even though I produced legal identification. Ridiculous

We got stuck on of the rides for about 45 mins in 95+ heat and the only thing we got for our inconvenience was a bottle of water and flash pass ticket which we didn't use because the park was empty anyway lol.

The ride's are amazing, I live at the beach 3 hours away and get a season pass every year it is such a deal and for that price its so much fun at such a bargain. My new job gives me weekdays off and many of them will be spent here.

Puts a smile on everyone's face!! Gained alot of respect after riding the carousel and saw the police horse. Kudos to you carowinds!!!

We have been season pass holders for a while though we live 3 hours away. The Christmas event is relatively new and they are adding things tonight to each year. The entertainment was plentiful and very good this year. The live old time radio show reenactment with music and sound effects is especially fun. It isn't Disney or Busch Gardens, but it is still a good family event. I love the lights.

The food choices are good and they have seasonal offerings, especially in Harmony Hall (The large indoor dining area with a stage). You can get an all you can drink plastic hot cocoa mug for about $11 or a plastic soft drink bottle for a little more.

A downside is that they open only one roller coaster in winter. The rest of the rides are all the kind you see at a state fair or they are kiddie rides in the Camp Snoopy section.

The biggest complaint with Carowinds is their management and staff. You never know what you are going to get. Rides are always down either for mechanical trouble or because they didn't have enough people come it to man all the stations. The brochure for the Christmas event said there was supposed to be a sing along with a co fire and "snacks", but the singer never showed, there were never any snacks (smores) and weren't all season, the staff doesn't know how to light a fire, so you are lucky to get one of the firepits going, and the ice Carver was never hired, so that is also false advertising.

Still, not a bad outing with a family. It was worth it to us just for the stroll past all the lights and the musical entertainment. It can get cold some nights, so bring ski pants, a heavy coat, and chemical hand warmers.

Lines for rides not too long. The park was clean. Refillable cups are absolutely worth it since it's so hot. My kids had a great time.

Came here many times and always have a blast. But Never will Volunteer here again! You get treated like animals and shown no respect by the actual employees. I told the HR there about it but obviously nothing but a slap on the wrist. Great place to have fun not so much for working/volunteering.

Bathrooms still need serious work. I can only imagine the smell in the heat of summer. The park itself is fun and worth the trip. I don't understand getting the "void" stamp to get back in the park if I have to wait in all the regular lines to return. I could have done all that, showed my pass again and not had ink on my arm for days.

It has been at least 5 years or so since we were there last, before last week that is, and it had changed SO much! We love it! Look forward to spending more time there! We bought passes and food and drink plans so my family will be pretty regular customers there!

Would've like for more rides to have the equipment for the pix. Especially ESPECIALLY the RIP cord ride. Me and family went on for the first time was to happy about the pox or even video

Don't buy the fast pass. My husband and I went for my birthday and decided to purchase the fast pass. Its really nice to be at the front of the line until you realize that you will be ignored for 10 minutes and sometimes more before they let you on, thus defeating the purpose of the fast pass.

This place is absolutely wonderful! Besides the incredible rides for all ages, it's clean, friendly staff, and unique being on the border of two States. As a Cedar Point regular, this place lives up to their standards, just scaled down a bit.

Always a blast! Go on off days like during the week to avoid long lines. Make sure that you take advantage of cooling off at the waterpark too!

Went during week in afternoon and we were able to ride all the roller coasters within 5 hours. Very little wait times. Did not eat or go to the water park. Not sure how it would be when busy, but our experience was fantastic!

Lots of fun. Buy tickets online for discounts of all sorts! We appreciated the Special for Thursdays in August 2018!

Came on opening day to try the new copper head strike ride and waited 3 hours to ride. The ride broke multiple times while we were in Line and we never got to ride. Waste of time and money. No one made an announcement or anything. Poor customer service.

It's great for people who like scary things, I went just for my friend's birthday and I cried twice. soooo, don't go if you're really scary. it's honestly very frightening .

Carowinds is a very nice regional amusement park. We keep season passes along with the meal plan, which makes it easy to drop in for a few hours when we're in the area.
