Our experience in dealing with Mitch and Carr Subaru was the best car buying experience we've ever had. Mitch was attentive to what we wanted, was very transparent in his dealings, and professional throughout the entire buying process. I would highly recommend using this dealer. They clearly have developed a successful model and apply that standard with all the employee we came in contact with. There was no pressure, no games, no misinformation.

They both went out of their way to offer a deal that worked for me and everything we agreed on was in the final offer. I am also extremely happy with the car. I came in to look at it and as soon as I arrived on the lot Papa safari quickly asked me if I needed any help and what I was looking for. He showed me the car I came in to look at along with some other cars. Threw the entire time papa was very respectful, kind and he was never pushy. While he showed me a lot of other cars I was curious about, I ended up buying the wrx. The entire time he was super helpful and I would gladly go back to him yo buy another car, along with I would recommend anyone interested in buying a car to go to him! I recently purchased a new Outback from Carr Subar...

I recently purchased a new Outback from Carr Subaru. The Sales Consultant, Mitch West, was a great help during the entire purchase process. Not having purchased a new car for over 10 years, I was unfamiliar with many of the new features available on the outback. Mitch took the time to go over each of the vehicle features in a clear and concise way. In particular, he did an excellent job of thoroughly describing and demonstrating the operation of the Eyesight safety system, which was particularly important to me.

Thanks to Mitch, the entire purchase process went very smoothly. I will be purchasing a second vehicle in the not to distant future and will be sure to use Mitch as my Sales contact. I highly recommend him to anyone considering the purchase of a new Subaru.

I must mention that I initially selected Carr Subaru for my new vehicle purchase because of my prior experience with the Carr Service Department. They have consistently done an excellent job in servicing my older Subaru promptly and courteously, leading me to select Carr for my new Outback.

I recently purchased a crosstrek from Carr Dealership. I had the most amazing stress free experience. Upon my arrival I was greeted by Sam who let me take the crosstrek around Beaverton, expressway, backroads, et cetera. Along the drive Sam pointed out all the fun features of the vehicle and encouraged I try all of the features so I know what the car has to offer. Even when we got back to the dealership he set up an orange cone for me to back into so I could see how the vehicle stops itself from hitting something- he was so patient with teaching and he really made the experience very fun. I am so happy with my experience at Carr Subaru. It was lovely working alongside Melinda as well and overall I felt that both Sam and Melinda were invested in me having the best experience and getting what I truly wanted out of my Subaru.

**FINAL UPDATE**

I got my car back...the repair seems to have done the trick, plus they washed it, which I thought was a nice gesture. Ryan, the person who I should have been working with from the beginning, apparently, was very apologetic about the misunderstanding, and tried to make it right, which I very much appreciate. Unfortunately, I have a deep-seeded aversion to "free stuff" like oil changes, so I turned him down. I very much, however, appreciate his gracious apology. He's a class act amongst clowns, for sure.

**UPDATE**

I thought I'd give them the benefit of the doubt and try again...I brought my car in last week and took one of techs for a ride to try to determine where the noises were coming from...he isolated one and ordered a kit to try to stop the noise. I made an appointment for the following Monday. Unfortunately, I had to call and change it to today (Tuesday) which I was told on the phone was "no problem."

I showed up this morning with my laptop, intending to work from the waiting room. I was told by the person who took my keys that it would be a "couple of hours". They parked my car, and 2 hours later, it had not moved.

When the same person I gave my keys to came in to the waiting room to tell someone (who arrived after me) that his car was complete, I asked him how long mine was going to take since he had said 2 hours and the car had not moved in two hours. He said he would check and come back and tell me.

Since that time, he has been in and out of waiting room twice and completely ignored me.

I understand that the place is busy...truly. But, at least I think I should be able to expect the MINIMUM in customer service...if today was a bad day when I changed my Monday appointment, they should have told me and I could have brought the car in later. If it was going to be longer than 2 hours...tell me so I can make other arrangements. When you promise you're going to come in and let me know how long my car is going to take, actually DO IT...don't give me lip service and then ignore me.

This place truly blows. I promise I won't be back again.

I bought my Subaru at a different dealership, but have used Carr in the past for service, as they're a bit closer to my home.

On Friday, I made an appointment for service today. I told them I would need a ride when I made the appointment.

I was told on the phone that the service department opens up at 7:30, and I pulled in at 7:35. The courtesy shuttle was sitting there when I pulled in. It took less than 5 minutes to hand my keys off, and when I turned around, the shuttle was gone. I was told it would be "just a bit" and he'll be back...so I took a seat in the waiting room...and waited...

...and waited...

...and waited...

After about 30 minutes the service manager, on his way to talk to another customer said it would be "just a few minutes"...so I waited...

...and waited...

...and waited...

Finally, after 60 minutes of waiting, the shuttle comes back. 4 people get on...

Of course, since I don't live in the SW Suburbs, rather Portland proper, I end up being last, even though I had waited by far the longest. So...we drive to Nike...we drive WAY out into....????...I don't even know...some area of suburban hell I would not be caught dead living in...and FINALLY, to my house.

All in all, it was almost 2 hours. Late for work...fun.

Anyway, I understand that you can't expect miracles from a free shuttle service, and they're doing their best, but honestly, I COULD have made other arrangements had I known it was going to be that long. If the service manager would have just told me that it would be well over an hour, I could have called someone.

I'll go to Wentworth next time.

We got a new Impreza and were helped by Jesse and Josh. They were very accommodating, and put the car we wanted to look at on hold so we could come out and see the exact model and color we were looking for. They were both courteous and straight forward, and beat a good offer we had gotten at another Subaru dealership, not to mention getting a lifetime warranty through the Carr dealership which was a big deciding factor for us. Working with Jesse and Josh was very easy and felt like more comfortable communication rather than a pressured impersonal environment.

Buddy made my experience at Carr Subaru really awesome! I went in looking for a specific car, knowing they probably wouldn't have it, but thought I would give it a shot. I dealt with Buddy and he made it an informational and fantastic time! They did not have what I was originally looking for, but he offered many other options that satisfied my needs. Buddy dealt with my indecisive self and spent hours going over different cars with me all while being very knowledgeable, super patient and not pushy at all. He wanted me to leave happy regardless if I purchased a car or not. However, I did find a car that I'm in love with! Buddy and the really awesome sales manager, Kia, worked with me over the weekend to make sure everything was perfect for picking it up after detail. When I went back a couple days later, Kia found me and asked me about the car and how I was doing with it and was genuinely interested :). They definitely strive to make you feel welcome and give you great hospitality I would highly recommend Carr Subaru and recommend you go through Buddy! He doesn't fall under that stereo typical "salesman," but instead acts like a real person when dealing with you. And hopefully you come into contact with Kia as the sales manager, he's really great! You won't be disappointed!

When I met Roman Sidorov at Carr Subaru I was shopping for a new car, but I hadn't yet decided what I wanted. Roman was very understanding that I was still in the information gathering stage and not ready to purchase anything right then. He answered my questions, showed me different models, patiently let me look at all the different car colors on the lot, and took me out on a good test drive. I was very comfortable working with Roman and I found him to be friendly, genuinely helpful, knowledgeable, and low pressure. I was impressed to learn that his personal vehicle choice is a Subaru. I think that is a testament to his commitment to the brand. When I finally made up my mind on a 2018 Crosstrek, they had the exact model and color I wanted in stock. Roman and the other staff at Carr Subaru made this one of my easiest vehicle purchases ever. Thank you.

Purchased my 2015 Subaru Impreza Sport two years ago here. Have been taking it in for routine maintenance and every experience whether it was purchasing or getting maintenance done, I have always been impressed with everyone here. Always friendly and nice to work with. They have done an excellent job. And I plan to purchase my next Subaru here.

Last year I went back swapped out my 2015 for a 2019 Subaru ascent. Sales guy was awesome super helpful. Will go back if I decide to get a new one in a few years. Service department is great. Super helpful and easy to work with. Appreciate everyone at this dealership and service center for all the hard work they do. Thanks!

My husband and I just purchased our first Subaru a...

My husband and I just purchased our first Subaru at Carr in Beaverton, OR. I had stopped by to test drive a Forester and liked it very much. The next day, after discussing it with my husband and doing our research, we decided to call and speak to the salesman, Miguel. First, let me tell you that we have been looking for a car for me for a long time. We had made a list of smaller SUV's that had a seat that would rise up, good visibility, and decent gas mileage. We test-drove an X-Terra, CRV, RAV4, Jeep, 4-Runner (okay, that's getting a bit too big for me) Outback and the Forester. The vehicles with the best visibility for me was a tie between the 4-Runner and the Subaru. The Subaru won out due to to the good gas mileage and the smaller size.

I told Miguel that if we could agree over the phone to a price for the car that I wanted, that we would come in to make a deal. We offered what we thought was a fair price and he agreed to it. Since we already had a price agreed upon, we only had to pick the color and decide if there were any other features that we couldn't live without. Once the final package was agreed to, the only thing left was the value of our trade-in and the financing. Miguel and the Carr Sales Team really bent over backwards to satisfy our needs with the trade-in and financing options and we were able to make a deal that we could both live with.

Between the Carr team's approach to sales and Miguel's caring approach to our concerns, we were very pleased. In fact, the experience has totally changed our thinking about the negotiation process. Having purchased many cars at dealerships in the past we were leaning toward fixed price shops in an effort to avoid the car-buying hassle but the team at Carr made buying a car more like a constructive conversation than the adversarial experience that we'd been used to elsewhere. We've yet to test the service provided by the Service department but you can bet that if that part of Carr's business is as satsifying as the Sales department, we'll be back when it's time to buy again.

We've told several friends about our great experience and how kind and considerate Miguel was to work with. I expect that they will have the same great experience that we did.

Met with Milo to trade in a Ford Focus for a Crosstrek. He was able to tell me all about the different options available, provide trade-in quotes, show me the best stuff available, but we weren't able to make a deal on a new car. However, the pre-owned section had the car I was looking for with the exact options I wanted! Milo went out of his way to make sure that I got into the vehicle I came in to get! I look forward to coming back the next time I'm in the market.

My very indecisive wife and I came to Carr Subaru to test drive an Impreza. Right as we arrived we met Mitch West. This was our first experience buying a car from a dealership and it felt like we were buying a car from a friend. Mitch was charming and funny and extremely parient (my wife couldn't make a decison and made Mitch test drive multiple cars with us). After about 4 or maybe 5 hours we finally drove home in a 2016 Impreza thanks to Mitch!

This experience was amazing. After revisiting Wilsonville Subaru to get a second vehicle through them, we were left pretty frustrate . We were referred to Carr and told that we wouldnt have to deal with the "no bull pricing" bull. We are so glad we made the trip.

Tyra, Margaret and the rest of the team were absolutley amazing. They got my wife in the car she wanted and for much less than we expected. If you need a car and want to be treated fairly. go to Carr. Ask for Tyra. You will be amazed at the quality of this team and their focus on getting you the best deal possible.

I took my car here for service as I moved to Beave...

I took my car here for service as I moved to Beaverton from Indiana. It's been continually garbage, long wait times for appointments, super expensive for routine check-ups and they don't follow through with requests.

For example I had a headlight go out, took it for oil change, told them it was out. They said they'd checked it when I returned, turned it on, light was out, then I had to wait 20 minutes (after 2 hours for an oil change) because the mechanic dropped the old bulb in.

Most recently there was a recall on the computer system, took it in, asked them to do it with an oil change. As usual they were running behind, after 2 hours, they completed the oil change I asked about the computer recall. "Yours doesn't need it."

Today all of the lights started flashing in my car, sounds just like the recall i didn't need. Took it in "you'll get a $112 diagnostic fee at least." Then they said the thermostat was bad after telling me the recall had been done the last time.

They are continually dishonest, rude, and just plain bad service. Despite being close to my work and having really nice pick up and drop off drivers I'll have to find a new place I've sunk too much money due to them being straight up dishonest and I'll be filing a complaint with Subaru of America because they charged me to perform a recall.

Its a car dealership. Prices are not horrible and service is decent though not exceptional. We bought a car here and have had service done. We have come back more than once. For purchasing I would still shop around and would just find the best deal. For service you could probably do better to find a local, honest small shop but if you want to take your car to he dealer this place is ok.

My experience with the sales department was superlative, and not the norm for car dealerships in general. The Internet Sales Manager I worked with was truly professional. An excellent listener, and extremely competent and caring. Couple this excellence with a superb and high in demand line up of cars and you have a GENUINE recipe for success.

Definitely a dealer to consider when looking for a new Subaru.

I've never felt more accommodated at a dealership than I have here. My salesman, Alejandro, was very friendly and listened to me, but more importantly, he was transparent, honest, and not pushy. He helped me to find a great vehicle that fit my needs without compromise, and in the end I walked away with beautiful Outback, as well as a trusted partner at Carr! I knew that I wanted a 2015 Forester, so just had to work out which model and what options. Diego Mesa contacted me in 2013 because of an inquiry through the Costco auto program, and then a friend had just purchased her 2011 Outback from them and spoke highly of her experience, so it seemed like a good idea to talk with them. I'm really glad I did. For me, I was concerned about having a lower than optimum credit score, but I had a good down and good income, so Diego helped get me past those concerns. We walked through all the steps, and how financing works. All-in-all - this was the best car buying experience I've ever had. The finance person I met was great to work with and took time to make sure I understood everything to finalize the transaction. I've heard their service center is top notch, and that's another bonus in buying from them. If you're looking for trustworthy people to help you buy a car - Carr Subaru is the place to go to first! I really appreciate their customer service focus! I love my new Forester! Thanks Carr Subaru!

I went to test drive for my first car and these guys didn't let me drive due to some insurance issue. I don't know how one can have car insurance before a first car. It took 30 min's for someone to help me. Bad experience overall, I'll never recommend Carr dealer to anyone from now on.

What a fun experience! Not only did Taylor Hall stay patient with me as I wanted to test drive a few cars. He was also so knowledgeable about each one we test drove. Explaining how awesome Subaru's really are. And what would best fit my family's needs. I am absolutely in love with our new car and feel very safe in it. The entire dealership is boosting with positive energy. Which made the time go by so fast and we felt relaxed the whole time. No pressure. I met several people. Sam was a sweetheart. Fernando got us the best warranty out there and helped so much with the financial part of things. Erica in the insurance department is a doll. I went to Carr this last week to look at Subaru Outbacks. I was working with Joshua Zuniga and Sam Fontanos. I am a really tough sell and came back several times to test drive both the Outback and Crosstrek. After lots of deliberation, I called Joshua and told him that I settled on the Outback in the Twilight Blue, with several specific options. We agreed on a very fair price, and Joshua went to work to find my specific vehicle. I was so impressed with with both Joshua and Sam that I called my neighbor to tell them how well we had been treated. They also were thinking about a Subaru, so I dragged them down to look. My neighbor looked at several colors and also decided on the exact same vehicle as we did! When we came back to complete the transaction, I worked with Joshua, and Sam worked with my neighbor. The whole process was nothing less than excellent. They sat down and explained the operation of the vehicles and spent all the time we needed until we were comfortable. I even received a follow-up text from Joshua the next day, asking if we were getting used to our new Subaru and did we have questions! I can't recommend Joshua and Sam enough. They are the epitome of what customer service and integrity is all about - patience, knowledge, kindness and professionalism. Well done!

My salesman Ben Coffey was fantastic. He answered every question i had on the details of my new car purchase. Ben went over and beyond to find the color and options i needed. During the negotiations, Ben did a #1 job to get me a fair price & the extra bits & pieces that make dealing with Carr Subaru so wonderful. He also made sure i got connected to Mary Coffey (no relation) who trained me on the bells & whistles including hooking up voice activated bluetooth controls to my phone. Thank you guys for a wonderful first time new car purchase.

People were nice, but they don't follow up. Bought a car and a month later check engine light went on. Still waiting to get a service appointment! My local mechanic is faster, but not covered. Let's hope if it's a major problem they keep up their side.

We had another wonderful experience at Carr Subaru! Papa was a fantastic salesman, very friendly and helpful. He, working with his manager Josh Hearn, were able to get us an excellent deal on a used Outback that had just come in. They also covered repair parts at no charge to us, so we could leave in a reliable older vehicle! Excellent service from everyone in their team and it all started with Papa as the salesman. Here's another reason you have our family as Carr Subaru fans for life.

Diego Mesa is my new "Subi Guy." He was awesome! I went in telling him exactly what I wanted, he pointed me to "the one" and let me take her for a spin. Of course I fell in love! My new Hybrid Subaru Crosstrek is perfect! It has everything I wanted. Nothing more, nothing less. And I got it for the price I wanted. Will definitely be referring people to see Diego!

I purchased a 2019 Forester from Carr with the help of Mauricio Anuel. From the moment I first stepped into the dealership Mo was very patient, friendly, and knowledgeable. This was my first new car purchase ever and Mo was with me through every step of the way answering any questions I had. Mo made sure my experience was as stress free as possible and gave me the best deal I could find in town! I appreciate that he was never pushy with any of their products. I worked with Edo and I fairly strict requirements. He was amazing. Super friendly, easy going and not typical pushy car salesman demeanor which was fabulous because pushy sales people drive me away. He did everything to meet my expectations and more and I am super pleased with my new purchase! The finance managers were amazing too. Super friendly and I would highly recommend this place!

We purchased a 2021 Subaru Crosstrek from Moon Souliyalaovong and let me tell you that we are very happy with our purchase and Moon s customer service. It didn t feel like we were buying a car from a car salesman, it felt like we were buying a car from a friend. Moon went above and beyond with assisting us! My experience at Carr was amazing, from the beginning Eddo was very friendly, never pushy like other sales people I've experienced in the past. He was patient and took his time showing my mom and I various cars, didn't take very long until I found my beautiful WRX. Waiting for my car to be ready didn't take long, meanwhile Eddo kept me updated on the process, he was very professional. When my car was ready he answered all the extra questions I had, and sent me off with a full tank of gas. Hands down best experience I've had purchasing a vehicle, I defiantly plan on recommending Carr Subaru and Eddo to all my friends, coworkers and family members.

Lindsay was extremely helpful in showing us vehicles and helping us through the process of purchasing our new Forester. Bought my very own car from here, absolutely great service & wonderful car sales men. Yusef one of the car salesmen was very helpful and always so polite and hard working. When I called asking for a brz, they didn t have the specific one I wanted so they offered to get one from one of their Seattle dealerships. He always kept me updated with the car. It took a good 2-3 weeks to get a decent deal since I was a first time buyer with no credit but him and Danny never once gave up on me during the approval process. I really appreciate the service they gave me & helping me buy my dream car. I didn t work with any other salesmen s in that dealership but i highly recommend Yusef & Danny.

Unbelievably wonderful staff. Kyle and Fernando were more concerned about getting my family into the right vehicle than making any commission or putting their needs ahead of mine (ours). They went above and beyond in that they also provided such a discount that I would not want to cause them any trouble by saying just how much they saved me. I would recommend to anyone purchasing a vehicle, either new or used, to visit Carr Subaru and make them your first choice.

I requested an online quote and received one from dan doyle. He had a good price, but i had received a slightly lower price from another dealer. When i mentioned this, dan became very rude and argumentative. He was not at all helpful, and seemed offended that I did not accept his quote. I was under the impression that good faith bargaining was a part of buying a new car. I can only assume that they had already met their sales goal for the month and didn't care about selling any more cars. I am going to buy my car from someone else. I will pay cash. Carr Subaru lost a potential sale because of the way dan treated me.

Great experience. Negotiated the lease terms via the Internet, so the whole process took less than 1.5 hours, including the paperwork and going through the Vehicle Delivery Checklist.

Everybody was very friendly; the atmosphere was very positive.

Papa Safari, the Sales Consultant we worked with, was very professional, nice, and polite.

Would definitely recommend to a friend.

Chris (Pham) was absolutely outstanding. He was thoroughly knowledgeable about the three vehicle types we looked at -- Outback, Forester (which we eventually purchased), and Impreza. The vehicle and the options we were looking for was not in stock. But Chris went out of the way in finding one from somewhere in the Subaru network, and even kept it ear-marked for us for a few days (we couldn't come to the dealership immediately). He was very patient throughout (which is remarkable considering his young age), and never once we felt pressured. The process of coming to final price was relatively painless. All in all, we would recommend highly recommend Chris to purchase Subaru from.
