Carmine's Las Vegas Review

The food (Penne Bolg.) Was too salty! We were told that this was the case in the USA. I think it's a joke. Las Vegas is our last stop on a three week trip to the USA and we often went to an Italian restaurant. For families (very large portions) it is very suitable.

Excellent food quality and a great selection of Italian favorites. Family style with very large portions. Great serving staff and reasonable prices.

The food we had was outstanding. It came in course after course of wonderful. I would give 5 stars across the board except that I was letdown by the cheesecake. After all of the amazing food I expected amazing cheesecake, however the cheesecake had the consistency of sponge cake.

Be careful not to get tricked into paying for things you did not order. We felt like we had to play defense against our waitress the entire meal, fending off one up-sell after another. We are extremely disappointed by the service from both our waitress and the manager. We will not be returning and will certainly not be recommending.

Undoubtedly the best Italian restaurant I've ever been to

Our server, David, was awesome; attentive and helpful, and a pleasure to have as our server. The food was great - LARGE portions and very delicious. Highly recommend Carmine s - and ask for David!

This place was amazing! Staff was on top of it and very nice! Highly recommended and will visit again.

The Lasagna was really disappointing. The vibe & staff are good and the portions are huge - better fit for families then for couples.

So....after reading all of the awesome reviews on this place, we decided to make reservations for a date night. DISGUSTING is putting it nicely. The bread basket even sucked. I ordered shrimp scampi. Had a very funny after-taste (no pasta at all was included). The menu gives no description of the food whatsoever. My husband got the ravioli with meat sauce. Again, disappointed. The service was good and the wine was good. That is it. Do not waste your money. You will get better Italian food at Olive Garden.

Food and ambiance was sooooo great! Shawna was awesome! She was very warm and welcoming, and took the time to tell us about the menu and make recommendations since it was our first time. Definitely going back!

Huge portions and lots of selection. Very cool atmosphere. It seems pricey at first but the portions are massive. I went with three other people and we all left feeling incredibly full.

Huge family size portions but you can sit in high tops by bar and get regular size plates. Food was delicious!

Went here with some coworkers when we were in town for a meeting. The family portions are great and the food was delicious. If you're with a group the titanic dessert is a must!

So disappointed. We got the penne vodka to share and it was covered in mostly garlic (big chunks) and parsley. Disappointed.

Enjoyed a wonderful dinner with friends at Carmine s. Elena helped us work through the menu. Food was plentiful and delicious. Service was excellent. Thanks Elena for making our first time experience at Carmine s a great one. We will return.

Elana was seriously the best waitress I ve ever had. We had a large group and she was phenomenal. The food was outstanding. A definite place to go especially if you have a big group!!

Portions are far too big for a couple so ultimately a visit becomes a waste of money. This goes double when you factor in the Caesars tax for the location.

Food is tasty enough.

Good italian food and huge portions. Get the cheesy garlic bread.... good stuff! Skip the steak, too tough and not enough flavor. However the pastas (a la Vodka), chicken parm, shrimp scampi were great. Also, skip the cannoli go with the cheesecake.

Easily a 4.5. I love Italian family style food, and this place does it right. If you have a group of people to feed, and you want good food, come here. The porterhouse with sausage and peppers is my favorite, but the Penne alla vodka, the chicken parm, and the bologneses pasta are all done right. Great selection of drinks too, wine and distilled spirits. Then you can meander through the forum shops to walk off dinner

My wife and I absolutely love this restaurant! Magnificent , authentic Italian cuisine . Change nothing except add more space so we can start our dining experience faster and not wait..

Carmine are you REALLY Italian???? Pasta doesn t come with your meal? Are you seriously up charging for pasta??? If I could take the Italian out of you I would!!!

The food came out so fast before we could have our first sip of wine. It also came out cold! Pasta was dry and lacked flavor. Would not recommend at all.

Great food, large portions, decent wine selection. If you got a family of 4 I would suggest going here and buying one thing to share amongst all of you.

Have gone multiple times now. Portions are huge, for more than 1 person, so share everything. We cannot get enough, food is always amazing. Appetizer, main, and dessert. All courses were delicious. Enjoy!

We had a great meal with friends in Vegas. Shawna our server was super friendly and informative in navigating us through the delicious menu. We sat at a table near the shops in Caesars palace and told everyone it was a good as it looked as they passed by! We look forward to exploring the menu again. :)

We were a party of 13, most experiencing Carmine's for the 1st time. We were celebrating birthdays, one birthday person present and the unfortunately was hospitalized who we face-timed and sang Happy Birthday to. We were able to order a variety of dishes that the group really enjoyed. I think my favorite was the Carmine Salad. Our server, Kyle Deogny, was superb. He was patient and assisted us with our various selections. We will visit Carmines at the Forum, Las Vega again. What a fabulous dining experience!.

Quite possibly the best Italian restaurant I have ever visited. A bit pricey but the food and service were absolutely first-class. Our group had four different main courses and each one was excellent. The cheesy garlic bread appetizer was so good I could have made a meal on it. This wonderful culinary experience was definitely worth the cost.

I had the pleasure of working with Julio and the Carmine s Catering team for an event at the National Geographic Fine Arts Gallery in Las Vegas.
Julio took the time to help us properly plan for our event. asking discovery questions that will ultimately lead to the perfect event.

Every detail from the color of the tablecloths to the logos on the cupcakes; everything was thought of and executed perfectly.

Oh, and the food was fantastic! Meatballs, Wings, Passed apps, and desserts to die for... all of it great.

You can t go wrong with Carmine s; especiallyu Carmine s Catering.

Delicious food at a great price. Because everything is family style, this is both an economical and fun way to spend dinner in Las Vegas. My family and I ate here twice during our stay at Caesars Palace, and we highly recommend it.

Horrible service. Waited 30 minutes after we were seated to give our order. Had to stop the waitress and ask if there was something special we had to do to order dinner. She said she thought someone had taken our order. Not sure why when she was the only one we d talked to. Then when the ticket came we got someone else s ticket. Food was average, but the service ruined it. We should have just walked after waiting so long just to order, way too many options in Vegas that have much better service.

Staff is sweet. Food is good (but not WOW). Still pretty enjoyable. Portions are huge, like one meal can feed a family of 4 huge. I was a bit annoyed by the fact that the concept of the restaurant was not explained to us even though we mentioned it was our first time there. We had way too much food for 2 people. Having known, we would've only ordered one meal and pay only half of what we ended up paying. We had so much food left we had to return to our hotel to put it in the fridge because we couldn't carry the bag around. I think the waiters should properly explain the concept of the restaurant and the portions to the customers. Our waiter only mentionned that plates are big, but any waiter in any restaurant says that. I am not blaming him he was very sweet but concet should be explained before customers order.

My family have dined at Carmine's many times before and at a few of the different location. My last experience was the best of them all. My family and I were in Las Vegas to celebrate my grandfathers 90th birthday! We had appitzers, entrees, and dessert...instead of happy birthday the waiter Mike got the entire restaurants attention to sing my grandpa a special song, as the entire resturant clapped along and cheered. An amazing time and atmosphere as usual!!! Thanks to Carmine's for giving my grandpa a memorable 90th birthday celebration.

Good food. Monumental proportions!

We were here for Thanksgiving. It's a family style restaurant so we ordered one appetizer and the seafood pasta special. As soon as we saw the pasta, we immediately regretted ordering the appetizer. Four of us couldn't finish that pasta even we had it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. And we are not light eaters... Pasta was way overdone, but the seafood were good and portion were awesome. Every staff we talked to were very friendly and helpful!

Great food. Portions are huge and meant to share. Great Italian feel with great Italian food. Would definitely revisit when craving Italian food. Would recommend to friends and family.

We ate here very well. The portions are very big. We shared a portion of Spaghetti Bolognese for two and were more than fed up.

Today was our first experience dining at Carmine s, but if at all possible, it will NOT be our last! The food was amazing! Rich, subtle, lovely flavors! Great bread selection! The cheesy bread appetizer is something dreams are made of! Our waitress, Shawna, was delightful and extremely knowledgeable about everything on the menu. She is The Who suggested the appetizer and we were delighted! Please expand! Maybe Tulsa or Kansas City ...

I brought 20 clients to dine at Carmine's in the Forum Shops and they along with myself were all extremely pleased with the level of service we received and the food. Manny (the manager), James Graham (the waiter for the evening), Mingo and Ryan (the bussers) were all extremely attentive, they listened to all my clients and my needs and requests and acted immediately upon them, and they were all very friendly and welcoming which made my clients and myself feel right at home. My clients raved about the great service and food and how impressed they were with their evening. I was equally impressed and Carmine's comes highly recommended to family and friends!

Amazing!!! Loved everything about it! We are celebrating both my husband and sons birthday and last year we celebrated at Carmine's Time Square, this may be a new tradition for us!!

It was very easy to get in, order, and eat with a larger group of nine people. Service was really great. The food was good and came out just as expected and explained. I liked the efficiency of the staff without making us feel rushed.

We just married this weekend and our reception was catered by carmines. Julio was incredibly helpful with the planning process and food recommendations. All the food was awesome and would highly recommend.

Great environment, but selection of dishes could be better. We had a vegetarian in our crew, and the choices weren't able to be modified for her taste. Food was pretty good, but wasn't off-the-hook great either. With all the choices in Vegas, I'd probably not put this to the top of my list. The staff seemed a little short for the crowd the night I visited.

Outstanding spot for italian food. Service is awesome even when they are busy. There was fast, efficient, and courteous service. This place has a nice feel to it. I see why this place has so many great reviews.
