Be prepared to be delighted! We had gone to Carmine's making reservations on line for a special occasion. We started with the Garlic Bread Parmigiana and the Spicy Scarpariello Wings. The bread was tasty though the cheese without sauce a little dry so we ordered a side of marinara. The Spicy Wings were incredible. Juicy, well seasoned which had a remarkable taste and the side sauce tasted like a bleu cheese mayo combo that was a nice complement to the wings. Our main dishes were Chicken Park, Chicken Marsala, Shrimp Scampi and Spaghetti Pomodoro. There were four of us and each plate feeds 2-3 so we ordered more than we could eat because it was a special occasion and we wanted to do it right. Both chicken dishes were delicious and the chicken soft and tender to eat. The Shrimp Scampi had rave reviews from those who enjoyed it and the spaghetti was quite good. For desert the Titanic was absolutely scrumptious with ice cream, whip cream, hazelnuts, bananas and pineapple slices.
We had two servers and both were professional and engaging. Our server actually warned us we may be ordering too much which we appreciated. We were also informed everything was ala carte. We had non-alcoholic drinks and each round charged which I felt important to share.
We live in Vegas so do not often go to the Strip because of the tourist pricing and Carmine's fits into a pricey experience typical for its venue. Knowing that and going with a group who can enjoy a large, wonderful Italian meal in an ambiance that reminded me of restaurants in Manhattan in the fifties, I'm sure you will be more than satisfied as we were.
