Not a very good experience. My dinner consisted of courses served at room temperature, slow service (took over an hour), portions were meager and lacking, and the waiters never stopped by to check on us. The waiter also barely knew how to communicate which may or may not have contributed to his lack of service. By far the worst restaurant I ve stopped to eat at during my vacation to London.

We were going to a show nearby, and were lucky enough to get a table without having a reservation on a Saturday night (we were shown to their deli-area where we waited for around 25 minutes and then got a table).

We only had about 40 minutes from being seated until having to leave but that was no problem for the kind and efficient staff: we were served great food very quickly and our waiter was very attentive.

We would love to come back next time we're in London and when we have more time! Thank you for a great - and fast - experience!

Worst Breakfast Service I've experienced in London...

Worst Breakfast Service I've experienced in London. I decided to dine at the restaurants because the tables outside in the Sun was the main attraction point.
Ordered Coffee (latte's that was cold and weak) and the Food was dry and cold with no taste. it's not hard to make scrambled eggs on toast with salmon.
The service was shocking. The waiter slammed our food down on the table so fast that it almost bounced off the plates and then disappeared inside without asking if we'd like something else..
I haven't had dinner there and will never go back to find out. Definitely don't go there for Breakfast

We initially had high expectation for our first visit to Carluccio's, but were somewhat disenchanted with the whole dining experience. Firstly, there are just too many tables resulting in cramped seating arrangements; encroaching on other adjacent diner s personal space. Secondly, both my Sicilian Arancini starter and Steak alla Griglia main were mediocre in quality. The only redeeming feature is the lovely staff who work so hard and deserve a name check from us; Emma, Shamek and Isobel.

Best place to go before going to the theatre - Italian food just like back home. I recommend the cold meat platter to share as a start, the sea bass for main and an amazing Tiramisu for dessert! Keep an eye open for the specials !

The worst restaurant in London, The worst customer service ever received.
Here we have the typical vinegar burrata.
Spritz to natural water.
Rough waiters
Arrogant manager.
They make sure you have tasted the first glass to tell you that you will not need alcohol anymore.
Shameful.
And as the great Checco Zalone says "you don't write Italy in vain, Vikings"

A bit tired but I guess you can't expect too much in West End tourist area. The menu isn't very exciting, but the food is good. A good location to eat away from Leicester Square area before going to a theatre. About 20 minutes stroll to Picadilly circus.

One of the best of the brand, service here is always swift, due to the fact that staff are aware a lot of people are on their way somewhere.

Great choices for coeliacs in fact one of the best and easiest menus you ll find in all of the brand restaurants.

Reasonably priced considering it s above the standard of a zizzi or prezzo.

I go here quiet a lot as I work in the area and the issue is that the food is always good (as it doesn't vary that much from the usual menu) but the biggest issue is the staff. You have to make sure you get the right staff member or that will massively affect your visit. Hence 3*s because to be honest you dont know what experience you are going to get!

A staff do with 28 of us. Service was a little slow and some food was warm by the time others arrived. They were quicker with the drinks. A bit of a stark atmosphere but the staff did theirs best.. very clean.

We were visiting this branch in Covent garden first time on 11.5. My best friend celebrated her birthday. It was fine in the beginning. We got nice welcome and were directed to our table. We got our drinks. Our waitress was nice but i can't remember her name. We had table on the first floor. So until food arrived we were enjoying. But when we got our salad with breaded chicken and i found out salad was unwashed still covered in soil. It was disgusting. So we let your supervisor know but she didn't handle our complaint very well. She said sorry but she did not make it up to us. She charged us for the other dish calamari which was disappointing. I think you should train your staff some CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! We will not be visiting soon...thank you

Great service, really accomadating as I have a young boy and the waiters were always talking to him. Food is amazing as in every carluccios. Would recommend going here. My favourite dish is the Penne Giardiniera. I'm not a vegetarian, however this is one dish I do not need meat to satisfy me with.

Not a wide vegetarian option. Waited for a while for the food which wasn't very hot. Pasta wasn't done properly. Waitress wasn't very professional nor was the manager. They wee rather rude, She got my friends order wrong and still added the wrong food onto the receipt. Friends food was burnt. Just a horrible experience. Wouldn't go back.

There are potentially a lot of stairs to navigate if you sit upstairs, plus the toilets are all the way downstairs!
The food is good, service was quick and staff were friendly.
A relatively decent price for central London.

Food 4/6

Food 4/6
Preparation speed 6/6

Got seated right away, very friendly staff. Food quite good, nothing special but it 'delivered' on counts, especially considering the place was completely full. Unfortunately, it seemed like our waiter got off her shift in the middle of her dinner, as they forgot to wait on our table when it was time for dessert - took off one star because of this, although when we let them know, they handled it very well. Would go again.

Visited here last Saturday night. Very busy and we hadn't booked but they were able to seat us within 10 minutes. The food was very reasonably priced, tasted delicious and the staff were amazing - very polite and our server was very knowledgeable on the menu, she was lovely too which added to the experience. I only haven't given a 5 star not due to the restaurant itself but the ladies facilities which you had to tiptoe through, I'll say no more but the manager was apologetic for and aware of.
Food and service though brilliant.

Today 26.12.2018 I have visited Carluccios restaurant in Covent Garden for a family lunch. We have ordered pollo Milanese for the kids and the chicken came back burnt, the potatoes were looking and tasting terrible, it looked like there were cooked the day before. Me and my dad ordered ragu rigatoni. The sauce wasn t tasty at all, it had nothing to do with ragu.
My wife's lunch was chicken with wine sauce, potatoes and mushrooms. The chicken came back over dried, with no sauce, potatoes and mushrooms again looked and tasted like they have been cooked the day before. The meal had no taste what so ever. The whole experience was not pleasant and tasteful, actually it was absolutely awful. Carluccios used to make really tasty meals but this whole experience was a disaster.
After we made a complaint with a manager he offered us 50% discount. On the way out from the restaurant we had a chat with one of the waitress and we have found out that the chef was actually not in today at all. Even though we had a discounted price we fell cheated as we would rather enjoyed our meal and pay the full price. How can you run a restaurant when the chef is not in and on top of that you charge people a full price for the meal?
After the meal we had we all feel sick

I wont even give one star to this place as i am Italian and i know what Italian food tests like.

Absolutely disgusting

Nice italian food. Worth the price. We are in a hurry so didn't order dessert but i guess it will be very nice too. If tomato can be added to the salad, it will be better. The mushroom is well flavored and went well with the toast.

The rissotto and pasta are nicely done, also suiable forr vegetarian. The restaurant also has many vegetarian options.

OK the menu avarage for Italian food. For the real good Italian food go to Southern Italy. The lasagne with lobsters is we ate contains tinned fish and not great. The wine Sicani we drunk a bottle and it went to my head this means if us cheap wine and not good. Olive ascolane were nice. I do not feel I would come back but then there are not very good Italian restaurants in London.

Without going into too much detail, I ordered a couple of hot drinks with bread and jam. Bread was seriously burnt and the coffee was awful (this also tasted over roasted). Customer service was embarrassing, I think this covent garden branch must have staffing issues.
