Great location on the water in Coal Harbor. Food is good and the wait staff is friendly and efficient.

Great place on the Harbor. Elsa and Andra are fantastic. First stop when I come back to Vancouver.

Cardero's is a great place for lunch or dinner. It sits over the water at Coal Harbour, almost half way between Canada Place and the entrance to Stanley Park.

You can choose to sit inside at a table or in the bar area, or on sunny days you can sit outside on the decking. We chose to sit outside in a great spot near the back of the restaurant.

The menu had a great variety of fresh dishes including salads and fresh fish, shellfish and much more. The service was fast and friendly and the price was good value.

We booked online and I suspect you may struggle to get a table without booking at busy times, but online booking was easy from the 'phone.

This looks to be a smart casual place where a good outfit wouldn't be out of place.

We look forward to eating here again when next in Vancouver!

Great location with an excellent service and delicious seafood.

This review isn't for the restaurant, but for the small pub that resides under the same name in the room right by the entrance of the restaurant.

A sweet little gem, this pub was a nice surprise. It offered a good range of beers, and you could also order food. What made this place was really the decor - absolutely gorgeous view of the harbor and the mountains behind it. Inside there was a small fire lit, lots of leather chairs and woods.

The waitress was very pushy to get us another round, but overall: great experience, awesome pub.

Went there since I had heard that the seafood was quite good, was not disappointed. The staff were all very helpful and the service was excellent. Asked the server for recommendations and they were spectacular for all the ones she recommended and ended up getting things I wouldn't normally have ordered which was a bonus.

I had the fish and scallops at the servers suggestion and it was fantastic. My colleagues and I sat outside on the patio under the heaters as it was cool outside and the atmosphere was lovely.

We from work went to Cardero's to celebrate a new team member. This will be a difficult review to write because I ate a Salad at a Seafood Restaurant.
We ordered Beer, some cocktails, some Appetizers.
The Chicken Appetizer was the best. My team members had the scallop appetizer and they loved it too.
All the others ordered the special Trip of Grilled Scallop, Fish and Shrimp. They loved it.
My salad was also really good.
If you love seafood, and a beautiful view of water, then this is the place.

Great food. Great atmosphere. Staff were rushed off of their feet. They were going as fast as they could but service was still a bit slow. Maybe management could re-evaluate workloads and schedule more staff when conventions are in town.

Very good especially when you get a steak medium rare! That was the best. The atmosphere was casual so easy to talk and good for groups

Great bar area. Very cozy with a variety of seating and great views of coal harbor. We had a beef burger and salmon burger - one with fries and one with mixed greens. Both were excellent. Staff is very friendly and attentive.

Had the best salmon dinner . It was cooked perfectly. Expensive, but worth every cent. Beautiful view.

Tasty food, but not exactly generous. Lunch time service was quick. Building acoustics don't allow for quiet conversation, quite loud for only 30% full

A classic west-coast destination that does not disappoint!

Excellent oysters! And awesome views on the harbour and the mountains. The service is top-notch. I love the fact that there's always an artist or band playing there.

Had the prawns in the Wok. Spoon was a bit dirty, but lime juice fixed that... The Prawns were cooked to Absolute perfection! I will be back!!

Great evening at Carderos as usual. The burgers are made daily and delicious. Donna and Holly made our evening special with great service. The rhubarb crumble is to die for.

Grows atmosphere for Saturday evening night. The food is delicious, wok calamari definitely worth to test with a glass (or two) okanagan springs lager beer. Staff is very professional.

Cardero's was a highlight of our stay in downtown Vancouver. The cedar plank salmon is their signature dish for good reason. Fish, veg, and also ribs were delish! Thanks again to our attentive server, Sam.

Great food. Looking to get seared tuna? Try a salad with the tuna side it's almost the same quantity as the entree.

I've been here a few times for lunch. Food is always fresh and the service is great. The restaurant isn't too busy on weekdays during lunch so I've never really had an issue finding a table. It gets really busy during the weekends though so make sure to reserve a table. If the weather is nice, I highly recommend getting a table on their patio next to the water.

The atmosphere is comforting, the staff is prompt and extremely polite! The food was delicious and I can say all around the experience was amazing!

Had a great evening at Cardero s. Staff was very friendly and a beautiful location looking over the water and the snow capped mountains. The parmesan fries were crispy and tasty along with the hummus. The salmon was very good and would definitely order it again the next time I am in Vancouver.

My Mom and I ended up in here on a really wet day so ran in to heat up, to our surprise there was a lovely little fireplace in the corner and the cocktails and service were great!

Lovely lunch. Squid with spices and steamed shrimp dumplings were excellent. Salmon tasty but veg a bit too al dente. Great view over the harbour and cheerful service.

Had a mixed night with a group of 20. All the stakes came out overdone. But once corrected dinner was outstanding. Highball drinks tasted watered down. Wine list had tons of great priced bottles. Service was top notch.

Absolutely delicious! Came here after a day on bikes at Stanley Park. Staff was so kind and hospitable. Oysters were on point and Seaside platter was delicious.

Service and drinks are always great. Food was really disappointing today though. Lobster bisque had heavy texture and barely any flavour. The charcuterie board had items that were literally pulled out of grocery store s vacuum packs. We re in Vancouver with so many unique and local food offerings, cheeses and artisanal breads and meats. I thought Carderos can do so much better than that.

Nice comfy chairs in a great lounge. Beer is priced fair. Great place for a afternoon beer and snack.
