Great food, service and location. Pricey but worth it.

Food is fresh, the views are spectacular and the wait staff are fantastic!! Hostesses lost the fifth star.

Fantastic seafood restaurant with an excellent view of coal harbour and the mountains. The mussels, scallops were very, very good, and the Sablefish was incredible! Highly recommend.

Great service and wonderful food. I'm not an of cooked fish (I prefer Sushi) - but I tasted the Sable fish and it was amazing.

We go to this restaurant every time we are in Vancouver.

My fiance and I visited Cardero's on what would've been our wedding night (cancelled because of COVID). Without much of a wait, we lucked out with a beautiful table right next to the window overlooking the harbour. We had delicious food, and our server Zahra was incredible she even surprised us with a complimentary dessert. Would definitely recommend Cardero's for a great experience!

The quality of the ingredients, the preparation of the same is the result of an exquisite dinner.
The attention, the atmosphere, location, view, everything as a whole make this restaurant the diners definitely want to return!

Not a place for vegetarians but the salad was good and so are the drinks

Worst management ever , I m not sure how they got good reviews , probably mostly tourists as a local I never go here the last time I went there my food returned back to kitchen and the manager came and with a lame smile apologized and charged me at the end , I m not kidding , 3 times I sent the food back because it was that awfull . Poor management.

Awesome seafood! Went for a special occasion and tried the seared tuna, miso sablefish and ling cod. All three dishes were exceptional. Window seat view was stunning as well, looking into Coal Harbour.

Certainly one of the best restaurants in Vancouver, assuming you can afford their higher prices. All in all an excellent venue on the water. Getting a window seat on the water near sunset is the best experience. Great service and food but again expect to pay big bucks. This is one place where the high rollers of Vancouver go. One common complaint however from patrons, is the venue is too noisy and thus not suited to quiet or intimate conversations. You be the judge, but you will not be disappointed by the food, service or Seaside location.

Beautiful location! Amazing interior coupled with a a great covered patio with harbor views. Really enjoyed seeing the seaplanes land from our seats. Seafood was good with a nice BC wine list. Prices were appropriate for the views and food.

I love this place!

Located in Coal Harbour with fantastic views of the north shore, downtown skyline and Stanley Park. It's nice to watch the float planes landing on the water far enough away that you don't get any fuel smell or noise really.

Great patio, food/menu selections and quality prepared food. You could do far worse than if you're looking for a nice meal with great ambience and location.

It was one of the greatest nights that I had in Vancouver. Our waitresses was Tiffaney who gave us the best service ever. She explained all the popular ones menu one by one, suggest some foods through our tastes and she brought some samples of soups to make that easier for us to choose. She was really friendly, patient and fast on service. Also, the food was really great with great quality. Definitely, come back here again specially because of great service.

Great location right on the water. Food was great. Noisy and lively plus live music in the lounge.

Paired with arguably the best sangria in Vancouver, the Carderos patio can't be beat. The location is right beside the water with a nice view of the mountains and people walking along the seawall. Sitting inside can get a little noisy, especially with their bar to dining room system that rings a bell everytime a table is available (however this is quite creative and fun for those being sat, as they are also given a personal flag pattern to watch out for). The service is great, the food selection is nothing special.

Went to Cardero's for appys and drinks last night. Our server Melissa was awesome. She made the night perfect. It was a last minute decision that we don't regret.

Our first time here and everything was amazing - food, service and fantastic value with the Dine Vancouver special menu. It was great to sit at the bar and watch the chefs at work. We'll be back!!

Pretty busy on a Friday night.
We got cocktails in the lounge while waiting for our dinner, they came very fast and were very tasty!
They have an interesting flag/whistle system for letting you know when your table is ready.
They have coat check here!
We sat on the patio it was covered and had heaters
Our waitress was awesome! Suggested wine to pair to our tastes and let us try some choices!
The food came very quickly and was good!
Had the salmon burger it was very tasty, nothing too special. The soup of the day (tomato and goat cheese) was delicious!
The truffle fries didn't scream the truffle flavour but they were tasty. Came with ketchup and garlic aoli
Mixed greens come with a balsamic vinaigrette. Light and very tasty!

Always full. The dining area was not warm. Nevertheless, the food was excellent, sable fish roasted.

Always satisfied with the service and great tasting food here. We went to the restaurant last night and ordered the dine out menu. Tuna Tataki for appy; braised beef short ribs as main and passion fruit panna cotta for desert.
Everything was so delicious.
Our server Travis was so friendly and very attentive.
Since we didn t have reservations we had to wait awhile for our table but the management, host and our server made up for it.
Thanks to all the staff front and kitchen for making this night very memorable for all of us.

Their patio in summer is a must-go! I tried vietnamese chicken wings with a classic old fashioned and totally loved it. The staff are quite nice and friendly.

I love Cardero's. Especially the bar/lounge. It's got a great vibe in there and the service is excellent. How can you beat that water view?

I had the salmon burger and it was the bomb! The service was excellent and I had a nice seat by the window with a great view of the harbour.

4 adults 2 toddlers and 3 teens and we all liked our food and experience! I recommend it and we will go back.

This is a very nice lunch spot. Service has always been on point and the oysters choices are good. The view from the patio in the summer is a big plus.

One of our favorite places to go while we are here in Vancouver for the World Sleep conference. The staff is super friendly and our bartender Tulio took exceptional care of us so we have been there 3 times now. I highly recommend this place due to the staff, good selection of food and drinks, plus it's right on the water.

Great bar and setting. Service is good and they make it very cosy and appealing on a dark and wet winter s day.

Good food and nice atmosphere, located nicely at Coal Harbor.

Went there tonight and we were watching NFL Playoff game, ten minutes left they change all TVs to hockey. I tried to talk to manager (Jodi) about putting one tv on NFL GAME and she said "this is Vancouver and we watch hockey, so no we are not changing it." She said this to me with a really rude fake smile... needless to say we left, didn't even eat. Went to WESTIN'S bar next door,got great food and awesome service, plus they had game on. NFL fans steer clear.

Great all around! Was able to walk right in and get on the patio on a sunny Friday afternoon. Very accommodating to move us next to the railing when someone left as well. While it was on the pricier side our food was worth it! I'm definitely more of a fried fish on my tacos type guy, but this was probably the best not fried fish taco I've ever had. Also had the wok beans which had a tasty soy garlic marinade with a little bite. All of this and an amazing patio to boot!

Great view of the marina and mountains in the background. Wait staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and accommodating of requested substitutions to accommodate dietary preferences. Food was fresh and tasty, and drinks were excellent. We'll visit again on this trip.

Location was awesome but the dinner was not great. I ordered Cornish Game Hen but the dish was set in front of me and the server said "and your chicken...I mean hen". It was clearly chicken and was dry as well. It's my fault for not complaining at the time but thought a restaurant of this caliber and price really shouldn't serve chicken in place of a hen. My wife loved her signature dish Salmon and raves about it still.

Reasonably priced drinks, delicious steaks, and a great view

Good location, good food, good value for money, good service. This was a good choice I made while vacationing in Vancouver.

Sat by the fire with good friends, fresh seafood and a nice bottle of wine. We have it way too good on the west coast. Oh yeah, and live music. Perfect night

What a view. Exceptional service and a delicious menu. We got a round of oysters and had to order a second round they were so good. Sat outside under the heaters even in the dead of winter and were comfortable. A wonderful evening with the family at a great location. Beer selection and wine selection very good.

Cody was an amazing server, went the extra mile, above and beyond. Always amazing service every time we go. Food is amazing as well, mussels and the wok squid are to die for!

Great place for happy hour. I love their happy hour wine. Such great quality for $5! Lovely setting as well...the food is also delicious!

Came from Maple Ridge to have appetizers and drinks, fabulous experience. Our server, Leah, was awesome. Very knowledgeable about the wine, make great recommendations, and clearly you could see, she loved her job!! Would definitely recommend this this place and would cone back again and would ask specifically for this server

Really good seafoods. The selections are consisted of mix of western and eastern cousins. We really enjoy wok dishes, so delish. Make reservation early since it is a very popular place.

I attended an office Christmas lunch, served on the covered patio during December. The temperature on the patio could not be maintained at a comfortable level and the heaters had to be turned off and on constantly. As a result, it was either too hot or too cold. The seating was extremely cramped and uncomfortable. The service was good and the food acceptable, however my overall experience was very disappointing.
