Very friendly staff and a lot of activities and classes. Great place to take the kids. A ton of services for one price that's a great deal if you have multiple kids.

I don't think forcing people to buy a membership and removing the day pass was very charitable. I was told it was to keep it "members only' during this time.

The staff is well trained and attentive, and the facilities are quite good, especially for a YMCA.

This place is the Taj Mahal of YMCAs. Great value for the price. It has an excellent free weight gym, pool, spa, and more.

The staff is friendly and helpful. The people who use the facilities are willing to help you with your work out. The Aquatics area is one of the best, with a lap pool, all purpose pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and clean locker rooms.

Such a good staff and amazing facilities! The equipment is really nice and well maintained, and it has a welcoming atmosphere.

Bad experience, felt like wasted money and time. My son is 10 and he was really disappointed after each class, small and big kids with different level of swimming were in same class. I would never join YMCA again.

I struggle between 2 and 3 stars. I was a member at Kent County YMCA, so I was used to a great facility 6/5 stars. However, this location does not pick up the gymnastics equipment, so half of the gym is usable. If you look to play basketball this is not a facility that is friendly to that. There is not a lot of acreage to go hiking or lakes or ponds on site.

The workout facility is decent. The pool is the best part of the location.

One thing that is unique is that the kids in what appears to be summer camp spend their time inside and not outside.

Again the experience that Kent County YMCA gives is what I am used to, so to see the facility not being as well is what gives this place 2 and not 3.

The FVYMCA is a great community facility. So many programs for all ages. Pool facilities, climbing wall, group exercise programs, after school programs, child care, camp's, sport programs, gymnastics programs, and so much more! Choose the the Y when looking to become and stay a healthier better you!

focused on children and families. if you're a senor, count on some waits to use fitness equipment during peaks, kids using machines for fun, lack of timely machine repairs, no parking during swim meets, and 'surprise' shut downs for halloween parties, staff meetings and other poorly noticed events. a 'smart' developer recently built hundreds of apts next door to take advantage of this Y, so expect more crowding in the near future. it's a nice place, but seniors are subsidizing other users.

Hands down, the Farmington Valley YMCA is the best Y and gym that I have ever been to. The leadership in this Y is caring and sincere. They take the time to get to know their staff and members and show an interest in their lives. They have a huge variety of work out spaces and activities. I can't express enough how much I love them and how they are like a big family. Keep going strong!

Love this place. It provides so many incredible programs that allow kids to grow physically and emotionally. There s tons of activities for families to spend quality time with each other. If you re strictly looking for a gym, their variety of FREE group exercise classes run from family-friendly to hard core. The exercise center is clean and judgement free and offers Personal Training to help get you ready for that up-coming Tough Mudder or Spartan Race. Oh, by the way, they have two pools (both heated and comfy), one for laps (not too warm) and a multi-purpose.

I m giving this place five stars because of the staff. Some of the nicest, most caring and kind people ever. Great Y to bring a family.

Swim lessons for kids are great. The facilities are clean as well.

Lap pool, diving pool, well provisioned exercise machines, weights, classes, and gym. Child care, accessible, welcoming. Many classes of many varieties from Zumba to yoga. Locker rooms.

Very disorganized, no one can give the same answers, but the place is kept well and the pools are warm.

We love this place we take kids to swim 3-4 times a week but I wish subway service was more friendly I came up at 8:20 pm and the chairs were up already I asked the cashier (short young girl) what time they close she said 8:30 and she wouldn t even let me to purchase pizza because it takes a long time to defrost she said.. kids were disappointed and hungry

We have been members for 10 years and have found the staff and the leadership to be courteous, efficient, and conscientious. During the Covid period they have been responsible in limiting risk and making the best of a bad situation.

Hadn't gone to this Y for 10 yrs (living abroad) and went back recently to find a place that is still very clean with a nice lap pool (perfect temp!), a cozy dive pool (warm!), steam room, sauna, hot tub and plenty of other stuff. Great winter spot!!!

Best experience all staffs are kind and lots of fun rock climbing and swimming and best play room

It's pretty good but I wish the pool area was more clean like the water fountains are rusty the diving board is rusty and many other things

Great gym. Great value. Rock wall. Dive pool. Lap pool. Gymnasium. Great exercise room with treadmills, freeweights and Nautilus equipment. Additional rooms for programs like spinning. Used to have more to do for the kids in the play room, but still a decent place to let the 8-12 yr olds sit around while you get your workout in. Also has a Subway right in the front. Everything is clean. Only tried the jacuzzi pool once, it was ok. Have yet to try to spa or steam rooms. They run some good programs from here. Swim lessons and gymnastics as well as archery and others.
