I received the most amazing meal accompanied with outstanding impeccable service from Conor . The entire staff and management all make the experience memorable experience. Easily worth five stars all day long.

Ambiance here is unmatched. It s build on stilts in the Marina with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the inner harbour, Stanley Park and North Vancouver. Patio is also epic in the summer time.
The lounge is more casual with a beautiful fireplace and live music on some nights.
Amazing place, ambiance, service, vibe and food. Was slightly let down by their signature salmon though unfortunately, but was literally the only thing not up to my expectations. Had love music and a good view of the bay.
This site is left to you to owe something. It is a good place with a nice atmosphere. Quality food although in small portions. Extensive wine list but few good options. Prices somewhat high.
Excellent seafood and and fantastic service. Everything was great. Only downside was that the food took a while to arrive but the waiter warned us the kitchen was backlogged and set expectations appropriately.
Overall, the ambience and service was nice, but the food was literally drenched in salt and butter! There was no unique flavors that you can taste because it was overpowered by salt. It s more comfort food rather than food that tastes bold. This place (in terms of food) is just similar to all the other chain restaurants and for the price, I would go to another place.
My husband and I had a a amazing experience at Cardero's last night. We both work in the service industry and Toby our server was phenomenal. He was very professional, prompt, knowledgeable and kind. Probably one of the best servers I've ever had. The food was equally great but honestly... The service was what I walked away talking about! Beautiful location, get a patio seat if they have one!
Great location, food, drink and ambience - would have given five stars except for the very annoying loudness of the restaurant. You could not carry on a conversation without having to speak loudly almost yelling yourselves to each other in your party. Cheers
Really quick service. Great service. Portions were slightly smaller than expected, however, the food was amazing and there was good value for money. Great views inside or on the patio.
We had a really Wonderful time. Cardero's, is our favorite hotspot!! Hands down the best service in the industry! My friends and I love going, and having drinks & tapas on the patio!! From the very moment you arrive, you are met with friendly smiles. The ambiance is spectacular, the views are stunning, the food is on point.
An inexpensive, moderately priced menu, great beverage selection, and everyone makes you feel at home.
I recommend trying the Parmesan Truffle fries, and the Mussels. And their Bellini's are fresh, ice cold, and Delish!!
Staff strictly follow Covid-19 protocols, and manage proper Social Distancing. They even wear very chic, tidy looking masks. Every detail has been thought out, & prepared, for both your safety & their own.
And everytime that I am in that part of town, I make an appearance. This is the easiest 5 star nomination I have ever made.
But don't just take my word for it.. try it for yourselves!! I promise, you'll be happy that you did!
Cardero s Restaurant is a great spot to relax and enjoy drinks and food.
Their location is easy to get to whether you are driving, or in my case just having to walk a couple blocks. The lounge seating is very comfortable with great views of Coal Harbour.
My preference is to sit outside on their deck with the harbour saltwater below. They have heat lamps and blankets if you start to feel a little chilly. Their servers are quick to get your drinks and check in on your table frequently to insure you are enjoying your visit.
Clam chowder is usually how I start my meal time and it always tastes great. My main course is usually seafood and they have a variety of fresh catches to choose from depending on the season. Feel free to ask if you can customize your order, their kitchen staff are great, they don t just stick to a menu serving.
If you want to experience a relaxing night on Coal Harbor go to Cardero s Restaurant.
Generally I avoid seafood restaurants as a vegan. Furthermore I avoid them when I'm the only vegan in the group (which generally causes some not ideal remarks about it). However my server Pete was fabulous at letting me know what I can have off the menu and keeping it hidden from the group. The food was fabulous and there was lots of positive comments from the entire table
My wife and I had a great lunch here. Love the decor, everything is extremely clean and well maintained. Food is top notch we ve come here every time we ve visited Vancouver and it s never disappointed.
Really trendy resto in Vancouver with great views and amazing food. Fish is a must, Sablefish is out of this world. Salmon plank is awesome. Take a walk around the water after dinner and enjoy the spectacular views
Had early dinner here with the family. We sat at the patio. Beautiful scenery. Food was wonderful. Our server Clint, was on point without being intrusive.
On November 02,2019. I came for lunch with some friends and my server Jordan was phenominal, Will be back soon!! And will definitely recommend to my friends.
Servers are experienced and above and beyond helpful, even helped me with a parking problem so I was finally able to relax, have a nice Zinfandel along with our albacore and salmon entrees, excellently prepared, flavorful, good portions.
Fish n chips is more like batter and chips you don t get much fish. Even for it being right on the water. Otherwise everything tasted good just had to order more food
Great atmosphere, lovely restaurant. The Seafood tower as an appetizer was amazing and served 4 of us. I would go back just to enjoy the seafood tower - so good.
Service is always excellent. I always sit in the bar where there is live music. Atmosphere is awesome and the views of the water and North Shore is spectacular.
Hidden gem for summer patio and Vancouver sunsets. My goto is the Salmon Burger but the full menu is good. A little over priced, but worth it in location, experience and customer service.
Atmosphere is great because you can sit on the patio and look at the water. Food is inconsistent and overpriced for what you get. My halibut came out cold and unappealing; very little portion of rice that came with it and the vegetables tasted fishy, as if they were lying near uncooked fish... after eating the meal anyway, because I do not like to complain at restaurants, I was still hungry. Was not impressed by a restaurant of high reputation. Will not likely return unless it is for late night drinks.
Enjoyable from the atmosphere to the service. Tasty dishes and a good wine selection for your meals as well. The bar area is also very nice with leather sofas if you can get one and nice service. It's a bit pricier than some other places, but you get a good experience.
Went here for our 38th wedding anniversary on Thursday June 26th. My husband booked this as a surprise and for the deck to be special. Of course this did not happen. We did eventually get a window seat inside though. Service was slow and our server was very scarce. Someone else from the kitchen brought our main course and it was placed so quickly on the table that it almost fell on my husband's lap - he was fortunate enough to grab it in time. Nobody came to ask how the meal was, nor was pepper offered. We shared the pan fried oysters for an appetizer and were not impressed - the oysters were small and very fishy tasting. We both had the Sirloin Steak Bourbon peppercorn demi-glace and were not impressed either with mediocre taste and appearance. We ordered two Monte Cristo specialty coffees and they came to the table barely warm. We sent them back. They gave us new ones that were again just barley warm. We keep them because what can you do keep sending things back and ruin the evening? Also we found it surprising that there was no acknowledgement of our anniversary. We have found everywhere else we have been for birthdays or anniversary's the restaurant at least gives the birthday person a dessert on the house or for an anniversary one to split. It feels like this Sequoia restaurant just does not care about the service, food or the experience
