Incredible food and service. Very friendly staff. Highly recommend!!

Amazing!!! Everything was spectacular! We had made reservations only for 2, and when we showed up, there were many people waiting in the foyer. We had told the hostess we had reservations and they had accidentally booked up for the next evening. They seemed extremely busy as it was 8pm, they were able to get us a table in matter of seconds and apologized for the miscommunication! We thought that was awesome that they were able to accommodate us WITHOUT A WAIT! Food was amazing and service was on point. 10/10 experience

Views are to die for, staff are knowledgable and well trained and the wine list is good. Food is what you would expect for an upscale seafood place but nothing jumps out as incredible.

Love this place that I consider my second home away from home. One of the local restaurants here where you will be served well with the taste of t heir food and of the great service. The place in general would be highly recommended. I would definitely come back!

Choose this place for my passengers on there way to Whistler after a 6 hour private flight.
A group of 6 there were seated quickly and from my observations thoroughly enjoyed there lunch, compliments and thank yous from everyone.

Excellent New York Strip (prepared perfectly), Caesar salad, raw oysters, and fried oysters. Oh, the fried oysters...I could have been happy ordering 3 orders of those and making that my dinner. They were delicious! Service was perfect in the bar area.

Definitely worth heading over Lions Gate for. The live music is fantastic along with excellent service and food.

I have no words to express myself about that restaurant, i dined in on Saturday, food was so f......perfect, serviced and manager on duty was great on everything.

Drinks were good. French fries good. Would not get the ribs again. It seems like the bark on the ribs was mushy. Like the sat too long. And not worth the 3.?? For one oyster. Was expecting bigger.

Excellent! Some of the best seafood I have had anywhere. Excellent service. Server very knowledgeable on both the menu and the drinks. Was a last minute decision with a group of five. Everyone went away happy. Prices a bit high but not ridiculous for the quality.

Our server Dennis was exceptional! Carderos is located right down by the ocean with an exceptional view. The place is a lively, busy place with live music starting at 8:00 p.m.
Great variety of seafood and other dishes on the menu. Good choice of wines, beers and cocktails.

Excellent drinks and dessert and good food in a wonderful location with great service. It's a bit pricey for what it is, but that's to be expected for a waterfront restaurant.

Very nice; sable fish is a must, but the plank salmon is also fantastic!

My wife and I went here for our treat lunch when we were in Vancouver, and it was completely worth it. I wanted to have local fish while on the coast, so I had the BC Salmon which was really good.

The food was only half of it though. We were fortunate enough to get window seats overlooking Vancouver Harbour and the north mountains, which was a treat just by itself.

If we go back to Vancouver again I d definitely go back.

We sat there for 15 minutes without any server acknowledging us before we left. The menu looked good and appeared to be decently priced, but not worth the wait. It was also more of a family style experience than the fine dining we were hoping for.

Great atmosphere, good food (not a big fan of oyster burger , but sable fish was good). Will come back

Great quality food, beautiful location in the marina, great service.

Ordered the Manhattan Style Clam Chowder, not really my kind of clam chowder (prefer a creamier style)
Braised Lamb Shank, this was great though the mashed potatoes tasted a little too buttery.
Cardero's Chocolate Mousse Cake, a little too sweet for my liking but mixed in with the raspberry coulis made it alright.
Service was great even when the place was packed so no problems there.

Beautiful view. Patio can have longer waits but short waits for inside. Pleasant waiters although today they were quite slow - had to ask for water several times (not usually like this).
Salmon was delicious. Pork chop was juicy. Other food has been better but ate at least half. This is definitely a place to take friends and visitors.

One can probably not go too far wrong at Carderos. While having a reservation is probably best, this afternoon we sauntered in and were seated at the window, even tho the place was hopping. Good mixed drink offerings and the wine selection, both by the glass and by the bottle, was great with quite a few local ones in the mix. Between the four of us, we ordered the generously sized Coal Harbour Burger, a tasty Salmon Burger served with delicious fries, and two of the daily specials - Arctic Char - served grilled and perfectly sauced with cooked veggies & rice. We were pressed for time and were not able to stuck around for the yummy looking desserts.... Dawna was a delight and looked after us so well in the short amount of time we had available to spend. The views out over Coal Harbour are spectacular, and what makes this spot so special is that they consistently put out great food & experience along with the setting, rather than trying to serve everyday offereings and hiding behind a setting to make up for it. An outstanding spot for any (special) occasion.

Lively atmosphere and on Canada Day crowded. Worth a visit.

Fantastic location and friendly staff, I went there alone at the bar and really had a great time. Now I only picked items from the Happy Hour food menu and it left me unsatisfied. The Tuna Slider were not tasting like tuna (much more the slaw in it), while the Karaage Fried Chicken had more breading than chicken .

But still; fantastic ambiance, great staff and awesome location make this a place you have to go. I ll have to come back to try the main entrees in the menu.

The location is the restaurant is absolutely stunning. Came here while visiting Vancouver and the vistas surrounding the restaurant are worth your time.

The ambiance once you're inside is very engaging. And the service was impeccable.

The mixed drinks were generous and made with good alcohol.

Now, the food... What a culinary adventure. Multiple vegeterian options. I had the California Vegan burger and I was blown away.

Lively environment with a location that can't be beat. This is a massive restaurant with great ambience and a steady wait time to get in. We experience d probably one of the best servers of our trip who was helpful with the menu and wine selection. My wife and I ordered a two different fish dishes and we're disappointed to find that each had been over cooked. Normally I wouldn't rate over 3 stars for less than stellar main dishes - but the appetizer s we're good, the accompanyment s we're great, and the environment made for an enjoyable night even though the execution fell short.

Place to go here for the space, decor and vibe. Food is okay and a "safe" place that has the standards, but not the place if you're looking for creative dishes, or something different.

If the food doesn't really matter to you - this is a convenient place.

The open kitchen is nice - but I notice that their staff aren't allowed to break and the it strains the kitchen staff. Should be respectful and let people eat. It's disappointing to witness poor treatment of staff despite on the regulations and standards who strive to protect employees.

The ambience is so nice and if you can book a table in patio, you have a very nice view of Coal Harbour as well! The staff are so friendly and nice , it would be a good experience for sure!

Some items were a little overpriced, value wasn't great, and the wait was quite long for the food. Also we pointed out to the serving staff that there was giant shards of broken glass on the ground below our table and they did nothing about it. Overall it was a nice atmosphere and the mussels were delicious

Our server gave us very disappointing service. He treated us like nobody, he didn't take our order for very long time. We ordered flat bread and 7oz steak and he got us two plate of steaks that were cut in half, which we didn't ask for. (He wasn't even sorry about it and he's attitude was disappointing) He never checked on us during the meal while other tables were treated nicely by him. Even after when we were finished we got him a good tip just for better service next time but he's attitude wasn't satisfying. Terrible customer service and was very disappointed.

Cardero's is always a nice, relatively upscale Vancouver dining experience. No great vegan options, but the kitchen is accommodating and it has a unique view and location.

Food was good but not spectacular. Also on the expensive side. Service was pretty good.

The burger was good and meat was lean and tender however I would say that the meat needed just about 5% more fat for a perfectly juicy burger. Overall the ambient in this restaurant was very good.

Nice spot on the water amongst the ships. Food is decent but not spectacular. My old fashioned cocktail was full of previously made muddled orange instead of the usual but of peel and Angostura. Service is excellent though.

A Table for two on Monday night. We were served by Christian and had a really memorable experience. From the greeting over the phone by Emily to laughing and joking with our server Christian, everything was a great setting. Live music was a great touch. Mussels and the Har Gow are a must to begin with. We live locally but don't get out much. Thank you guys. I'm getting laid

Cardero s are kind of a neighborhood staple. They have decent food (think cactus club), great service, but people really come here for the view.

Tip: if the dining room is filled, take one of the corner chairs in the lounge. It s quieter, the ambiance is great, and it s much easier to talk.

Cardero's has a soft place in our hearts. My first date with my wife was there about 4 and a half years ago. We've kept going over the years but last night will keep us away for a while. We got married the night before and we wanted to celebrate with a few friends before they left. First a water glass was accidentally broken in our table and of course all water spilled on our party. We took it lightly and we were still pumped for the place but the waitress was so awkward even though we tried to make her feel ok. She ended up abandoning our table. She offered to get bread and 15 minutes later no one came. I had to call another waiter to get us the bread which was cold and after that I had to call another waiter to get us water. 40 minutes after we ordered, we asked a different server to check on our food, then only one person's food was brought out. 15 minutes after that, the initial waitress came saying she forgot to put in the other 4 orders?! She then brought her manager who was literally grinding her next to us which made us extremely uncomfortable. The manager later came and apologized and filled our glasses with a bit of wine then left. There was no effort to make up for the mess of an evening. We debated just leaving but then the food came. Food was mediocre that day which never is on a usual basis. Too bad since we love that place.

Loud loud loud! If you want to scream at your dinner guest this is the restaurant to go to. The Westin concierge recommended so clearly the concierge has never been here. No matter how good the food is if the noise is so loud you can't relax and eat a meal...thumbs down on this one

Went in for a fast one with my buddy and didnt want to go! Great atmosphere. Ice cold beer with excellent service. Live music. Definitely be going back
