Excellent service, amazing food. Love the music in the lounge. Great patio views in the summer.

The food was great! The location was beautiful. There was good music by a live band. The server was very nice.

I have come to this restaurant often for special occasions and have been very happy each time. It s the perfect place for a date or even a group of people.

Yes I'm the guy who eats by himself when traveling. Sadly you sat me at a dark table, no candlelight and out of the way of your waiters. I sat for 10-minutes before anyone noticed me. The waiter did a fine job once he knew I was in his section and my meal, Wood Plank Salmon was decent. You need to step up your game for the single diners and treat them like the other patrons. I'm a corporate event planner and I W on't be recommending your establishment for future buyouts.

The sable fish was delicate succulent and amazing. The server was kind and considerate. Really helped guide our choices which turned out to be excellent

Expensive but very good. Mussels and chili fried wok Squid are very good!

Great staff, great decor, and a great view. The food was pretty good. You do pay a premium for the location, though.

Very good food and service, I definitely will go back.
Also it was the first time I enjoyed eating Brussels sprouts.

Another fantastic visit to Vancouver and Cardero's. Of course we really enjoyed our dinner, again. And I'm looking forward to our next visit.

We got a table inside right away. Service was prompt and friendly. I liked the selection of local beers. Menu has a lot of seafood options, but also other items. The washroom was clean. Overall quite pleased with the restaurant.

Visited this location on a Wednesday evening. The server s (Kristy) attitude is the reason for the weak rating. She seemed overwhelmed, didn t make eye contact, took the knives away after providing bread, but forgot to add new ones for the main course. Asked my two colleagues if they wanted dessert, but didn t bother asking me. She didn t ask us if we were ready for the bill, she just laid it down on the table. She then inputted the wrong credit card into the machine, then proceeded to input the incorrect amount for another card, all the time disappearing in between telling us she is multitasking, then tells us that the amount she entered was different because one of us paid less, taking no responsibility whatsoever for the fact that SHE was the one who entered the incorrect amounts! Then she said it s okay, and that she ll take it out of her paycheck, making us feel bad for her mistakes. Very poor service. Perhaps she s new? Perhaps she hasn t been trained properly? Perhaps she was having a bad day. Either way, I won t be back in a hurry.

My wife and I come here frequently on our anniversaries. The service is always great, the restaurant has a really nice calm feel, always clean and well spaced. The food is amazing. Highly recommend the wok fried squid and the Albacore tuna main, phenomenal!

The location is nice. Right on the water. But, once you walk in, the energy of the place and atmosphere is cold, and I'm not talking about the temperature. Half the time, the hostess doesn't acknowledge you unless you walk up and say hello. Once you're sat, the servers' service is fair enough. Their salads are pre-prepared and taste stale with no seasoning whatsoever. It tastes like a plate that has been put in the fridge the night before and served to you on the day. It's never a good sign when your plate is cold upon being served. We sat in the lounge and the window area was full of dust and the floor looked like it hadn't been wiped in years - dirty and wet. Unfortunately, a real disappointment! We live one block up and never go anymore.

Great location and views. Extensive seafood options. A bit on the pricey-er end but not too far out of reach of the standard Vancouver mid-range restaurant scene. You can get right back on the Seawall for a nice scenic walk after towards Stanley Park or turn back into Waterfront downtown.

beautiful view over coal harbour, but not worth the wait! cardero's seems lost to the convention crowd.

Perfectly located overlooking the Marina.Comi the day Halibut dish typical and whitefish in the area, very well prepared!

Very good service and very convenient if staying at the Westin Bayshore.

A classic spot in Vancouver, it's been around for years and for a reason. Fabulous cocktails, old school vibe, right on the water, live music some nights. Highly recommended!

Pleasant dinner experience and was perfect for our anniversary.

Went here on Saturday for lunch. Service from Jen was incredible. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and beer selection. Food was tasty and well worth it!! Afterwards Jen helped us figure out about renting bikes to ride around the Stanley Park sea wall. Everything from beginning to end was amazing. Will definitely be back next time we are in Vancouver.

Although pricy, Cardero's is absolutely fabulous if you are in the mood to treat yourself.
Happy hour is reasonable and delicious.

Service was good and quality food on the menu. Server was all over us from the second we walked in the door. We will return. Highly recommend.

Great food and service. False fire alarm and everyone had to evacuate. Staff handled it well and with good humor. Then they treated everyone to their scrumptious desserts.

One of my favourite restaurants in Vancouver... the view is incredible the staff is amazing (they will make sure you have the best experience no matter what) and the food... is just perfect!!! I recommend it to all my friends all the time...

My wife and I had a lovely anniversary dinner here. We made a reservation online and ended up getting a dear by the windows overlooking the bay. The service was great timely and friendly, and the food was delicious.

I went to celebrate a friend's birthday and had a great time. The food is delicious, the drinks, the dessert, the coffee, the attention ... we all loved it. It is somewhat expensive but it is worth it in addition to the view of the pier is beautiful.

Awesome place. Food was delicious. Sat at bar watching cooking going on quite a show. We had 2 appetizers and creme brulee that we shared. Chicken dish and prawn shrimp with wok fried rice. Excellent wide variety of food cooked to order.

Made a reservation online and requested a patio table. Nowhere on the website does it say that table location is first come, first served. So when I arrived I was told it would be an hour and fifteen minute wait for a patio table (had I known this, I would have checked in early since I was in the area anyway). Food was just okay considering the price. Service was pretty good.

Despite being a tourist place, this restaurant is very good. Seafood is fresh, cooked well, great drinks and decent wines. Very good service and sort of reasonable price.

Absolutely fantastic seafood restaurant that gives you a very good fine dining experience. The patio in the summer time combined with their Seafood Trio dish is excellent.

It Was a superb culinary experience.

Pretty expensive food considering their portions, but that is expected due to the location. I was seated at one of the high tables on the patio, which I'm not a big fan of. However you're missing out on the view if you're seated inside, and the atmosphere is not that unique anywas. Go for a salad and a soup if you're on a budget. Steaks are super expensive.

Always love this place! Exceptional place to be. Well trained staff who are friendly and work well as a team. There is great live music, and terrific food!

Beautiful restaurant on water, fantastic atmosphere!

So I took my wife here for date night and we didn t know what to expect since we haven t been here in years. It was quite busy that evening so we sat at the bar until we got a seat, they said it would take an hour so we waited. During that wait we ordered a couple drinks and the bartender was so talented at her job! I ordered a gin and tonic and she was so knowledgeable about asking me a cucumber slice vs a lime. My wife ordered something not on the menu and she loved it and it was refillable! Even though we waited, we only had to wait 20mins! Instead of an hour which they told us. At this point it was going well. We sat outside and ordered our food and the service and great and the food was very good as well! If I had to suggest any food, go with the muscles!

An amazing restaurant great selection and incredible quality. Portions are perfect and staff were so kind and thoughtful for my son's 10th b day celebration.

Been to Cardero's a few times for dinner but this was the first time for brunch. It was amazing! The smoked salmon eggs Benedict was delicious. Service was spot on. Can't beat the location!

Today I had the best service I have had in years. My gf and I, who I actually met working a serving job years back, had a girls day. I feel like we always have bad luck when we go out because we both hustled for years in the service industry - so the service was never the same. Today, our server Melissa was so amazing. Genuine person, very caring, real, friendly and funny. We stayed for a few hours and the whole time she was super easy to talk to. Very happy and friendly. You could tell that she genuinely cares about the patrons. The General Manager even touched base with our table and we chatted about wine and food and experiences. He was so knowledgeable and friendly. They made our day and I have had a perfect weekend thanks to them. 20/10 recommend coming here!

Favourite place to eat and have a drink when in Vancouver. Food is great, location is great, atmosphere is great and the live music in the evenings is fantastic. Very reasonably priced for the food and location. Highly recommend.

Had very late lunch here. Always have fish when I visit here & never disappointed no matter what type of fish dish I get. Great selection of desserts & wines. Staff extremely friendly & knowledgeable about the menu & always willing to accommodate you with a table if they can when you haven't booked. Great views too. Love this place.

Wonderful food and service. I have been there a couple times now and both were great experiences. The food is great quality and flavors are amazing. The atmosphere seems fancy but many people dress casually so it's comfortable as well. Beautiful views and perfect setting for dates, business or friend gatherings. I would say more for adults than children.
