$5,000+ here over the last few visits and have not once felt my money wasn t well spent. Only location I ll let do real work on my car (anything over basic wire running).

Eddie and Mark in particular seem to be those people you stumble on by accident that just. Know. Everything.

Will take my car here anytime she needs work.

walked in late yesterday looking for a specific radar detector, figured i would spend about the same as i would on amazon and wouldn't have to pay overnight shipping if i bought it in store.
the gentleman who helped me was very polite and good at the art of small talk. he also gave me a better deal than the internet, then we got to talking for another 20 minutes about how best to build out navigation system for my jeep. great deal, and he let me pick his brain for 20 minutes on the best way to build stuff out.. good all around. i will go back

Trash customer service - scheduled us for 9am when they dont even open till 10am, then the "manager" proceeded to talk to us like children because we dont know car audio, dont recommend this Car Toys, find another.

Sales staff was very knowledgeable, product selection was good, scheduling was easy. However the communication on how long the install would take was over promised and underdelivered. I ended up having to call the store two hours after the stated finish time to learn that it would take one more hour until it was done, and by the way where would I like the USB port to be placed. Install job was clean and is working well.

Great communication with great service. The staff here are always helpful and I can always reply on them when I need something installed onto my car. From god navigation to lights, I only get them from car toys. Their products are quality and if you do t like them you can always return it. Stop by and you ll enjoy their service and their selection. Not to mention their prices which move around a few times so keep an eye out for that...

I've had my cars detailed there several times. Most recently, Brandon did the most thorough job of explaining the "before and after." I was overly impressed with his customer service and the quality of detailing my Volvo. He also answered questions I had about installing stereo and safety accessories in my other vehicles. Very knowledgeable. Nice showroom. Of course I will be back!

Horrible! Management was extremely rude, condescending and not helpful at all with a simple question. So bad I m taking the deck I just installed and returning it. Don t expect help if you go there.

I ended up going to the Issaquah location and the manager there took really good care of me. He was able to answer the simple question I originally had. Recommend going there if you re looking for good service.

I came in the day after my birthday to get a new aftermarket head unit for my aging Benz. While waiting for their attention may be an element to your experience here, the service after which is great. I came in with a notion of what I wanted (ok, more than that as I knew which aftermarket head unit already) and they totally helped me plan out the rest, including the extra pain required because it s a Mercedes. I left a happy camper with special parts ordered and was awaiting their call back once the parts arrived to schedule the install.

Three days later, a young driver pulled a rookie move and no two physical objects can occupy the same space at the same time. While the accident wasn t major, the cost of the repairs outweigh the value of the car. Total bummer.

Custom parts. A technically interesting install looming. I was genuinely worried about the money I had already put down to get the ball rolling.

I had a calm, open, and honest conversation with the manager to explain the circumstances, fully expecting I d eat the cost of the custom parts ordered. Turns out, they re human and the manager was empathetic to the situation. He ignored the rules, refunded my money without question, and assured me that he understood, that it was no problem to refund the money despite the rules, that he s been in my shoes before, and that he was sorry to hear of the accident.

Truly. Just wait for them to get to you when you come in to look around, they re pretty great.

I was quoted $175.00 for an interior detail with carpet steaming and ozone treatment as upcharges. When the ticket was run and payment was requested the employee indicated it would be $211 with taxes. In Bellevue with a tax rate of 10%, this should have amounted to a total of $192.50. If there were additional shop or materials charges, those should have been pointed out as additional charges. Upcharging is one thing, misrepresenting taxes is another.

The guys in the store were knowledgable and asked any question I had. They did a very nice install along with a tune for my DSP. My system sounds amazing. If you're looking to spend some good money but have it done right, these are the guys.

One word of advice to your sales reps when talking over the phone. Don't refer to someone as buddy, it comes off as demeaning.

Car Toys stand behind their customers! After installation there was, admittedly, a questionably related issue regarding a dashboard (cluster) light that had burnt out and engaging the passenger air bag warning system. This occurred while the vehicle was worked--one of those "it was working when I brought it in and not working after I picked it up" scenarios. Chris, Stewart, Maclin, and MyCayla (front desk) worked to solve the issue saying "You are our customer and we take care of our customers!" It doesn't get any better than that! Thanks CT Bellevue--you're the best!

Went there to see if they could just test my 12inch sub to see if it's my amp or the sub that's not working they said they couldn't test it in front of me and it would be 45 to 75 dollars I would of got a new sub off them but guess I'll try somewhere else

I paid $750 in advance to have a car alarm install...

I paid $750 in advance to have a car alarm installed with 2-way remote and Bluetooth connection to my phone, with option to subscribe later for LTE service and long-distance phone connection, etc.

The remote works to turn the alarm on/off, but no 2-way communication. I found the alarm box in the car, opened it, and found the LTE module had not been installed. Went back and the installer and manager said it's working (because I was complaining in front of other customers), when it's obviously not.

It was not even completely installed. Even though we specifically discussed the details and I paid for it, the installer said that I didn't want it completely installed but they could add the module in later if I wanted. Ludicrous. Hahaha...

If they had the integrity to admit their mistake and correct it, I would be OK with that, but they acted like it was my fault that they messed up. They don't even want to correct it, instead blamed it on a defective remote.

Also, opening the back door does not trigger the alarm as it should. That s another obvious deficiency that should have been corrected before calling me to pick up my vehicle. There are several other issues too.

Then for the installer to ask me to sign acceptance before I ve had a chance to check it, nobody from Car Toys had signed the quality check line, and for him to get upset and say Are you calling me a liar? when I challenged his 'inspection is terribly unprofessional. Plus for the manager to support this ridiculous behavior demonstrates incredible levels of negligence and incompetence.

I use my vehicle for work. Already took a day off to have the alarm installed. Now I might have to take another day off for them to fix it, that is if they will admit that it s done wrong in the first place. Probably better to take it somewhere else to make sure it s done right.

Take your car somewhere else. I don t want to waste my time and money at Car Toys again.

I got my car done here on the 19th! And it still looks amazing! A little bummed because I spilled coffee in it yesterday. But besides that I am extremely happy with the results. The guy that did my car was named was Matt! He was super nice and helpful. I will be back! Thank you Matt

The custom subwoofer box built for my 2019 Ram was constructed with outstanding quality and the sound performance seems very well tuned. They did the very first design/build for this specific truck and I am very pleased with the final product.

I ran into some issues after the installation that required special attention. I felt like it took unnecessary time and effort on my part to get the issues resolved but eventually everything worked out fine and I was eventually compensated properly.

I recently purchased a 2015 Subaru WRX. I loved everything about the car except the terrible sound quality of the stock stereo and speakers.

I decided to stop by this location around 8:30 on a Monday night to see what other options were out there. I spoke with Joe for about 45 minutes (yes, he stayed past closing time to help with no complaints), and he walked me through a few different stereo options for my needs. After I settled on the Pioneer AppRadio 4, I asked Joe to take me through a couple of speaker choices that would be an improvement over the stock speakers but not break the bank. I ended up going with Focal after a brief sound demo.

I dropped my car off the very next morning at 9am. The stereo and speakers were installed when I got off work at 3:30, and I couldn't have been happier with the work the installers did. I was able to retain my steering wheel radio controls, and the new unit was powered into my existing USB port in the center console, just as I had requested.

To conclude my experience, Joe walked me through set up with Apple Car Play and helped me through setting up a custom EQ to get the most out of my new speakers.

I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for an aftermarket stereo. I was impressed with Joe's knowledge and the fact I was never pressured into anything I didn't need.

Expect to feel like a phone number, not a person. Mediocre customer service and slow. I had this store re-install speakers, a stereo, and amplifier from my old car.

The initial install took them over a full day; which was unexpected and inconvenient.

They failed to check in about where they should install my amplifier, so today they got to move it for free. Took them another 5 hours. It wasted part of my Saturday and hopefully a good amount of their labor.

The good: they took in my older vehicle and installed speakers and stereo that I purchased, and they got it done same day. The Bad: I was driving home on the freeway and my hood almost flew open because they failed to close it. Also, all the old parts, screws, misc. stuff were strewn in back of cab, on passenger side floor, ...everywhere. They should have boxed or bagged it up. Quite a mess everywhere. The stereo install was fairly shoddy. I need to go to TAP Plastics or something to frame it out neatly. I paid over $350 -- it should have warranted more care.

Walked in there yesterday, black Friday, was greated immediately. The man who greated me (did not get his name) told me someone would be with me shortly. Sure enough. I was helped, and Was recommend great products. At one point, the techs weren't sure how the installation of the stereo would go due to some wiring in my car I was not aware of. I was given options and Chris, told me it was better to start off with something basic because it would most likely work. If not, of course they'd do a rewiring for a reasonable price. I was in and out of the store within 20 minutes. I was told I'd have to wait until 10 pm (depending on their work load) it was 5pm at the time. I got a call back at 8 pm telling me my car was ready for pickup. When I got there, the guys were so nice and even funny. I was taken to my car and I was walked through the process of how the stereo and bluetooth functions. Overall... Extremely pleased with the work, the attitude (despite it being black Friday) the price and the timing of the whole process.
Thank you Bellevue team. I've already recommended y'all to a few friends and my parents. Will for sure go back for future needs!

I needed a new radio for my Honda, so stopped by Car Toys to get one. It was a good experience over all. There is an exhaustive selection of car entertainment systems, ranging widely in price and capabilities. I chose one I liked, and came back later for a same-day installation. The installer was very good, finished early and explained the new system to me. I received an itemized bill showing all charges, which the installer also helped me understand. One area to be aware of is their waiting room; it's a cramped little corner with a couch and a couple magazines. No coffee, the TV has no reception, not the place to hang out for an hour or two!

Just spent 360.00 for a truck detail to pick it us and it's filthy. You guys didn't even wash it, I have 20 photos to prove it. Then your lame excuses on how the ONLY wax you have won't work and you don't call me????? I am wiping black soot off the chrome bumper. The rear window is so dirty it's hard to see out when the sun is out and you want me to bring it back so you can wash the window??? I already spent 9 hours and 2 Uber rides for you to do a half/ass job. NO, it's not even half done. After reading other reviews on your detail job, no ones happy with you. I am so disgusted with you guys!

$130 advertised interior detail turned into $210 with extra fees. Everytime I called to find out if the job was done, no one answered, no answering machine, nothing. Days later when I finally established the vehicle was ready, it took 20min to find where the keys had been left. For the same price, a competitor has done a more thorough job and with much better service.

Over the phone the price was one and in the store was said the different one. In the store they did not talk much unless I start asking them questions, but nothing more than that.

They did an exceptional job on highly custom installations. Cristian Lopez is a very talented installer who was able to seamlessly integrate a lot of audio and video components into 2 of my vehicles. Pricing on the hardware was very competitive, as they sold me the parts for less than typical online pricing. I plan on using Cristian and Car Toys without hesitation for any future projects that come up.

They charged extra money to clean sap and moss but my car is not cleaned at all. Even i charged for exterior and interior detailing. But no detailing at all...that much detailing i will do myself...even better then them...i had only one issue in my car to sap removal but that itself was not cleaned. They are saying they will vaccum the car completely but there also no vaccum and no cleaning . Waste of time and money. STRONGLY NOT recommended. Only Windshield, dashboard was cleaned which was nit required at all as my car was clean already.

Installed a sensor of my car alarm wrong. It would go off for no reason at all. So I called to see if they could fix it. They said in about two weeks. So for 800$ you can get a car alarm that doesn't work and no one cares enough to fix it for you. I would NOT recommend going here.

Update 8/20/20 I will call and see if i can make an appointment stating the above info and see if i can get in. That will be the real test. Thank you for your response.

I needed a good gps, radio and cd system for my car because I was about to take a 30-day, 6,000 mile drive from Seattle to NM and back. I went online to look at what was available for my 2000 Nissan Altima, and began with CARiD to ask questions. The salesman listened carefully and seemed to suggest the best affordable system for me: Power Acoustik made in China, which he assured me almost all systems are. I ordered it because my daughters in CA were adamant that I have gps for a safer, smoother drive, and the salesman was very convinced that this product would be just perfect. Car Toys installed it at a decent price, and one of the workers helped me learn the gps, which I used to drive 10 miles home. I didn't use gps for the next few days because I know my way around town, and the afternoon before I was to leave, I couldn't get the gps to work when I went outside to type in my first hotel address in OR. A dear friend came over to help, but nothing we tried worked, though the radio and CD did and had good sound. I printed mapquest directions instead of gps, and nearly got run over by rush hour drivers everywhere I went in OR because it was always raining and dark and I couldn't read the street signs. I really thought I was going to die before getting to CA for Christmas. A tekkie in San Francisco found that the sd card was corrupted, looked up the system model and serial # online and found out that it was over 2 years old, an after market, and was possibly used -- or at least sitting on a shelf all this time. 1500 miles later the radio and CD died, and my last 3,000 miles were without sound. Blech! CARiD argued that they sell only good products and they needed proof the system was broken. Instead of the $201 that I'd spent, they finally issued a check for $151 + tax, and refused to pay the wasted $300 (not to mention the hours and days of wasted time) that I paid Car Toys for their excellent install. I asked what statistics CARiD had on that model, at least how many returns, and they said they don't keep track of those things -- they just have their customers send it back to China. THEY DON'T KEEP TRACK?! 5 STARS AND THEY DON'T KEEP TRACK OF WHAT GETS MOST COMMONLY RETURNED VS WHAT IS RELIABLE?? The salesperson had assured me this was a good model, on sale, and he had no reason to believe it would fail?? I returned to Bellevue, WA Car Toys on 13201 NE 20th a month later, and the manager Jeremy was kind enough to reinstall my original radio/CD player and hand me the garbage that CARiD had sold me to send back to China. I was very impressed with all of the people who work at Car Toys, including the installation staff. They seemed so young! but they were exceptionally knowledgeable and well trained. Jeremy, the manager, was so kind that if I keep my car much longer, I'll do future business with them. I'm sorry to say, CariD had between 4 and 5 stars, and I accidentally trusted them too much. After my experience, the Car Toys staff told me of horrific, unbelievable experiences customers have had with online garbage and packaging -- some really unbelievable junk that is sold without conscience to inexperienced consumers. I've only begun to search for other CARiD customers so that I can take this to the Attorney General's consumer protection office. Car Toys: YOU ROCK! THANK YOU SO MUCH!

They guys behind the counter were too busy talking about someone's engine, thumping each other on the back and telling each other "Gotta hustle, man!". Apparently, hustle doesn't include talking to customers. Won't be back.

Unprofessional staff, focused on upselling and recommending things in store.

I went for an installation of an after market CarPlay receiver. Kevin, the installation manager gave me a cost and time estimate (2-3 hours) for a week later, after a through review of the device and the cable harness.

Come appointment time, Kevin adds $50 to the cost and tells me he needs the car for the whole day. When I told him I had made other plans for the evening based his estimate, he was downright condescending and he will be done when he will be done. Apparently, in the auto business there is lot of randomness .

I wish they will treat the customers the same way they want to be treated. (I had to put a cash deposit to ensure they can plan their day).
