The service was awful. I had the supreme interior detailing treatment on my car and it took them 13 hours to complete it and then I came to pick it up it smelled heavily of acetone...strong enough to give me and my girlfriend a headache if the windows weren t rolled down while driving for the next 3 days. I will not be returning here and don t recommend it to anyone. Then I spoke to someone on the phone about it and was told they would take care of it, went in and they told me to roll down my windows for a few days. If it s the most expensive package the place offers (over $200) how can they not make the car smell pleasant...especially after 13 hours of work.

Have had great experiences with Car Toys, Bellevue...

Have had great experiences with Car Toys, Bellevue on several equipment installs on my 2001 Infiniti QX4. One was a combination GPS, Back-up camera, Sirius-XM satellite/AM/HD/FM radio & CD player which really enhances the driving experience on my older vehicle. More recently they installed front & rear video cameras to capture any traffic issues I might encounter. Unfortunately the unit was defective and failed in less than a year. Thanks to their great guarantee it was cheerfully and quickly replaced. Hat's off to Seth who did a great job on a complicated install! Appreciate the great service, guys!

Bought a Pioneer audio source unit from this Car T...

Bought a Pioneer audio source unit from this Car Toys ~6 months ago. A month ago my car battery died and ever since jump-starting, the audio unit has been behaving oddly... pressing the "SRC" button goes back and forth between "Radio" and "USB" and I've been unable to play music via Bluetooth or Aux so I've just been listening to the radio. I tried fumbling through the audio unit UI to no avail. Googling the problem yielded nothing. I finally got tired of the radio so I called Car Toys to see if they could offer technical support.

Kayla answered the phone promptly and patiently guided me through the audio unit's strange interface to help me bring back the missing sources. Now I can finally listen to music again! Thank you Kayla!!!!!!

Excellent all around great staff have had multiple installs on many cars and send them biz all the time...just bought a new phone from my man Kevin and I am loving it great recommendation you know when you buy something the salesman actually uses and can show you it proves they believe in what they sell will send all my clients to Car Toys you guys rock!

Apathetic and indifferent customer service and hig...

Apathetic and indifferent customer service and high prices offset the advantage of one stop shop and install.

I've had a reasonable experience with them in the past but yesterday:
I and my wife go in and see that a lone service agent is serving a customer at the counter.
I line up and wait for a while. Some acknowledgment and indication of how long I might have to wait would have been the right thing to do. There was none.
After a while I start browsing around the store figuring I'll be called once the agent is done with the current customer.
Some 20 minutes go by.
Then the customer who was being served steps out with the service agent, to look at his car.
Service agent reruns and I walk towards the counter.
Another customer walks in and beats me to the desk.
Agent starts serving her.
My wife points out that we've been here for a long time.
Agent says "sorry I'm the only one here" and goes back to serving the customer who just walked in.
We leave.
The agent clearly neither understood nor cared about customer service. He clearly saw us in the store, the only other customers, for the past 29 minutes. Yet he chose to serve someone who just walked in.

Yesterday i made a visit to this place to see if they could help me with my stereo that was installed elsewhere. I was greeted by a gentleman named jeremy. He came out to my car and took a listen. He agreed something was off. After a few settings on my deck and amplifier were made my stereo now sounds the way i expected. This def made my day. I tried to give him a tip but he politely turned down. I will be back with my other cars in the future.

The Team was very helpful all the way through the process. They really stuck with the project, worked through difficulties and delivered a great sound system. Aerial was especially thorough and diligent in his work. I appreciate honest education, quick installation and follow through. Easy to recommend this team.

Needed a new head unit and they got me what I needed. Very knowledgeable, listened to what I wanted, and found me the right head unit. Works like a charm. Also, the installers are some of the best. Listened to the car of one of the top installers, Jeremy Boyd, and it sounds amazing.

DO NOT USE THEM, I cannot stress enough, I have a ...

DO NOT USE THEM, I cannot stress enough, I have a Volkswagen bug and was having a stereo installed with a few other things (700$ worth of stuff). They jacket up my wiring and I had to go 4 times, each time them guaranteeing they had fixed and checked the issue. I had told them the issues the first few times and they laughed saying that had nothing to do with the stereo, EVEN AFTER I GOT TWO QUOTES FROM OTHER REPAIR SHOPS. Then the 3rd time he chuckled and said, we have the same reader here. We will see if what they are saying is accurate and make sure it s working before giving back. THEN THE NEXT TIME, same issue, cannot read my scan to check my engine light or airbag light and say oh we can t scan that to ensure it works.... even though two days before they we laughing that they could and that what I was saying was wrong.

On top of that they left my car a mess with the inside glove in the back, masking tape in the door and some screws that fell out on my floor. And this was after they had told me my car would be done that night and then said actually isn t till next morning.

They finally got it fixed when a new guy came in from Olympia told them what I was saying was right and fixed it.
Overall my experience was not too great, they were rude, careless, and inexperienced... never using again.

IF WANT AN HONEST PLACE I GO TO KIRKLAND AUTO WORKS NOW, I DONT KNOW IF THEY DO INSTALLATIONS BUT AMAZING AND WORTH A SHOT TO SEE!

Buying a stereo for a car really improves the car in more ways than it used to. My daughter drives an older model car (2012) and Car Toys just added a new, modern head unit, speakers and a back-up camera. So in addition to a better sounding stereo it now has the backup camera, so my daughter has a clearer view of what is behind her when she is backing up and Car Play which I hope keeps her phone completely out of her hands and put away someplace safe while she is driving. I was helped at the bellevue store by Kris on Black Friday. When I told him what I was looking for he showed me several options and provided easy to understand description of the main differences between them. He sold me equipment which added the safety features I wanted without overselling me things I didn't need. The new stereo sounds great. The installation looks amazing! I would have added it a long time ago if I would have known it would turn out looking so nice. All the steering wheel buttons work, actually a little better than before. The warranty is really good too. So overall great sales and workmanship and thank you to the staff at Bellevue Car Toys

These guys did a FANTASTIC AND FLAWLESS job of installing my receiver. They did it in record time!! I went there, they took my car in, took exactly 1 hour, or even less, to install it, AND they even showed me the ropes on how to use it. I am so happy with my Kenwood receiver, and happy about the customer service there as well. As a fair warning DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT go to the totem lake location. They do NOT have good customer service and the take FOR.EV.ER to work on your car. Thank you Bellevue team, and I look forward to having some speakers installed in the near future

This store is under new management and they have brought in some of the top talent in the company to serve this area. They have high tech equipment to tune up your system. Brought my Denali in and an hour of shop time DRAMATICALLY improved the sound of a system I paid north of $4k for.

Good service but nothing amazing. Told me the speaker and deck service on my car would take around two and a half hours. Ended up being a little over four hours. It s not a huge problem, just a little inconvenient. The rating mainly goes to the service technician who guided me through the proper workings of my new audio system. Though I thought I d be fine without him initially, he pointed out some key things I might have missed.

Boo, pricess were extremely high for what I wanted to do. Replace 4 stock speakers with the exact same size speaker $160 each. Ok. Plus add a small amp to drive them $89. Ok and add rear parking sensors $100. Ok. Then the sales person says $300 to install speakers, $150 to install amp and $200 to install parking sensor. NOT OK.

Just a total lack of service...after the sale. It's like you never shopped there and they could care less after the sale and especially a month or two later.Prior to the sale it's like a waterbed sales-force, BAD. Find a local aftermarket auto sound shop and hopefully you'll get better service.

I had a receiver, back up camera, and blind spot sensors installed. After picking up my vehicle I realized my steering wheel controls did not work. After returning my vehicle a second time I was reassured my vehicle was fixed but the steering wheel controls still did not work. Now I am asked to bring it back a third time. Each time there have been additional charges. The shop does not show adequate knowledge of its products and install. The shop has little appreciation for the time lost due to not having my vehicle due to repeat visits. I would not recommend purchasing here.
This is a follow up to my original review. After posting my review i received a phone call and apology. Within a week the repair was made to my install and was completed perfecttly. They were exceptional with not only the install but how i was treated. Thanks to Ben and Chris who assured my satisfaction. I appreciate the extra effort it took to make this right. I have changed my star rating to reflect my satisfaction with the recovery service.

Got a car detail here. Left my car there the whole day and got a call at 7pm saying it would take 2 more days. When I said I work full time and need my car they agreed I could pick it up late the next day. When I got it it was not good at all, I didn t even have to say anything the manager peaked inside and apologized and signed me up to have it redone 2 weeks later. When it got done 2 weeks later it was actually worst. Light moss still around windows, Matts hadn t been hosed off, dog hair. When I got a hold of the store manager he told me I could bring it in again if I wanted, I considered the money a sunk cost and a lesson learned.

Not exaggerating when I say rose hill car wash does a better job for 91.5% less money.

What I did learn while waiting in the store for my car both times, at least a half dozen people came in to complain about the stereo install they got, no first hand experience but based on the quality work I saw, I believe those people.

I originally went in to have an amp and subs installed that I already owned . I also was hoping to get an auxiliary chord updated because my deck had the very old iPhone hookup that didn t work with my phone. Josh from the installation department came out to look at my setup and was very friendly and knowledgeable. I was honestly worried my stuff was outdated and afraid he would make fun of the gear I had, but he was kind and confident he could hook up the amp and subs I brought in. When we went back inside the sales team was busy with other customers so Josh helped me pick out a clearance deck so I could have the correct auxiliary chord. I haven t had a system installed in over 15 years so it was definitely cheaper back then but when they rang me up I was shocked at the cost! I originally said I m sorry that s more than I can afford right now and left. About an hour later I changed my mind and went back. They let my finance part of my purchase which helped a lot. Even though it was expensive I got more than I hoped for. Josh hooked up my single amp to; two subs and my original 6 factory speakers and installed my new deck. The quality of installation was perfect and my system sounds freakin awesome!!! He even stayed after they closed to show me how everything works and seemed as excited as I was about the work he did. I highly recommend this shop and if you re lucky enough to have Josh install everything you will get a professional job you ll be proud of. Thank you Car Toys!

Josh and his crew did a great job detailing my car. They ran into a small issue with trying to extract the baking soda we spilled in the car but took the extra steps and care to make sure it was handled right, and reached out to me to make sure I was informed and up to date. Wish I had done this before I decided to sell the car because it looks brand new. Great price too for the amount of work.

Spent just short of 3000$ for system, after a year of problems with the deck I said just sell me a new one. Paid the 230 for the deck had the technician and salesman look at the existing system paid what i was told was the instal cost, booked an appointment. Car is in the service bay and manager is phoning about unforeseen costs associated with the install . After long discussion told them to just give me a refund and leave the old deck. last time I will ever walk through the doors of Car Toys.

Eric and his installer team are true professionals. From the moment I arrived with my Range Rover, Eric was very polite and helpful his customer service is second to none. He had some very good ideas and options on how to fix my situation where my sub and amp were not working properly from a poor installation that Stereo Warehouse in Seattle did. He estimated how long it would take and at what price point. The result was better than anticipated and under budget! My Rover sounds GREAT! I can t thank him and his team enough. I will go back for all needs that Car Toys of Bellevue provides. Thank you!

Eric, the assistant manager of the store, saved my perception of Car Toys. I have a 2002 Toyota Camry LE and in need of good speakers. I originally went to the store in Lynnwood because I was in the area. I wanted the manager's special on the Alpine speakers (plus I've had them before, good stuff). So they did an inspection and estimate for the cost of labor to do so. Apparently the rear speakers would require more intense labor in order to get them in, so I was preparing to have to shell out a little more. The last time I had this done, I had them install six 4 speakers, 2 tweeters, and an Alpine dock. Oh, and I also had a Hyundai Santa Fe. It cost $500 total. I thought was reasonable. However, I had my friend install the dock system into the Camry, so I expected this to be cheaper. They quoted me an asinine $600 for labor and speakers altogether. I was furious and just walked my way out after vocalizing my disdain.

So I call up the Bellevue branch of Car Toys and hope they could give me a more reasonable price. I arrived there, and met the assistant manager, Eric. He was cordial, and talked to me like me showing up there was appreciated. I told him what I wanted and also shared my unsatisfied service from the Lynnwood store. He apologized for the inconvenience and looked genuinely confused as to how they even got that number in the first place. We talked a bit more about it and he recommended that for the sake of dropping down the price that I mix up the speakers to purchase. So I compromised and decided to get 2 non Alpine speakers to be installed. They did an overall estimate and originally came out with a price of roughly $400. Still a little above my budget range, but still much cheaper than Lynnwood. I told him that as much as much I appreciated all of his help and advice, that I only had a budget of $300. Out the kindness of his heart he put in some discounts on the overall cost and dropped it down to $299. I was amazed at how far this man went out of his way to help me with both a reasonable budget, and excellent customer service. I truly am excited to get my new sound system installed at this store next week. These guys and especially Eric, deserve 5 stars.

II called about a blue tooth system and talked with Chris. What a wonderful person. He gave me all the information I needed and requested I see him when I come in. He was perfect and put everything bought in a box for me to wrap for a Christmas present. When we came to leave the truck and then pick it up he was very helpful on helping us understand how to use the new equipment. Thank you Chris for your knowledge, patience helpfulness. When i do decide to put something in my car I will come straight to you!!!!!

I scheduled an appointment to deal with multiple issues with my deck and backup camera. Randy called me back, took time over the phone and in person, to find out all the issues. He personally fixed everything quickly and at no cost to me. He communicated everything as he worked on it as well. He even tuned the equalizer and made it sound so much better. To top it off he walked me through everything when I picked my truck up. If you get work done go to this location and ask for Randy. I am sure anybody will do just as good of work here, but I know for a fact Randy will do it right or make it right. I love to see people who take their job seriously. Give this guy a raise! I'll have more business for them in the future for sure, from me and others.

I had interior detailing done at this place- very bad experience.
1. My car was looking like just vacuumed
2. If you take coupons from Groupon or similar site they will not schedule appointment quickly
3. They will say most of the things are not covered
4. Customer service representative will give you offer of adding additional services for exorbitant cost once there
5. I came to know only things you can see quickly will be vacuumed
6. If you have minivan - don't expect they will clean carpet below third row seat
7. They will offer you to clean thing after you show them and for that you have to go again for cleaning which no one will do
8. Don't expect all things listed on groupon coupon will be done e.g. Hot water extraction is just one pass which does not guarantee cleaning or stain removal. You have to pay extra for hot water extraction of carpet. Ozone odor removal is not included.

I bought a remote start alarm 2 years ago from Tukwila and had issues with it from the start. I wemt back there numerous times. I also tried getting help from federal way and Tacoma to be told oh you just need to replace the battery. Well after several dozens of batteries dying in a matter of a month or less. I called Bellevue car toys and Jeremy answered. He spent the rest of the morning trying to locate me a new remote, by mid day he called and found one. He even went as far as having it delivered in the morning, and had the tech reprogram the new and improved remote so quick. If you have any issues and want the best customer service only deal with Jeremy at the car toys in Bellevue, he ll make sure you feel your money was well spent. Thank you so much Jeremy you re a real MVP!!!

Probably the worst experience as a car toys audio ...

Probably the worst experience as a car toys audio installer. Installed a subwoofer and amp and it was overpowered and when i brought it back for them to adjust the amp gain and power they practically turned the subwoofer off. Very inexperienced work crew and they don t know what they are doing. save your money and get it done by people that are trained and know what they are doing. NEVER COMING BACK HERE.

I took my car in to get a stereo system installed that I already had. I had some tweeters that one of the guys said he could make work. After it was finished he said that it won't work with my car. Fine. Then after a few hours of driving my stereo stops working, something about faulty wiring.

I take the car back and they do nothing. They basically said it's the stereo unit itself, which it worked fine before. They will do anything to make sure problems are solved, especially if it's something they'd be doing for no additional charge. I would say only go here if you literally have no other choice.

I had my car audio and sterio done on my classic a while ago. They didn't do the job right. I had a backup camera installed and the system was not working when they handed off my keys. I have asked them to fix it so they added a switch to turn it on and off, which is not unacceptable. They blamed it on classic car and how old it is, which I understood and let it go. Anyway, the reason am more pissed off is that the other day I went to this other spot to get my Subwoofer installed. The guy not only did a great job but also fixed all the mess car toys created. Car toys at this location is a rip off please don't go there. They will take your money and will not deliver.

I recently had a sound system installed in my Toyota Tundra by Bellevue Car Toys. Unfortunately the amp that I purchased caught fire and blew my sub and a door speaker (nothing to do with the installation, bad amp). The managers where awesome in upgrading the amp that caught fire, replacing the sub and mids that blew and practically gave me a touchscreen Kenwood deck at well under cost. On top of that offerd a free detail to my truck at my convinence. Professionalism all around from managers Edgar and Eric and especially want to thank installer Christian for all the time he put into my truck. Putting me at ease by explaining and making sure this didn t happen again. Thanks to all of the staff. I ll be bring in my wife s Jeep soon for the same professionalism and customer service.

This is the first time in my life I am writing rev...

This is the first time in my life I am writing review, I am really pissed off so couldn t stop myself.
I would give 0 stars if it is allowed in the website.

5 days back, I spilled a lot of tea on my car seat and carpet, went to car toys. They said uhhh we deal with this all the time, don t worry we will get it fixed. And they promised me to clean & shampoo seat, carpet and truck for $125.
They booked appointment after 4 days.
When I went back after 4 days. I talked to the detailer he said yes I remember, its 125 dollars. Guy on the counter don t you want to check before quoting, detailer says no I have seen the car it is $125.
They guy on the counter says no no its going to be $150, tax and environmental fee. They did not mention any environmental fee before but since I don t have any option and my car had been smelling really bad for 4 days I got agree on $150. Left my car and went to office.
After some time detailer calls me and says there is mold on the carpet, and many technical stuff that I don t understand, I will have to charge $150 extra + $50 for something else, total will be $350. Come on I did not give you my car to clean carpet mats. And obviously after 4 days there will be mold.
I got pissed off and took my car without get it cleaned, went to Pro club Salon. They are very nice, they shampooed seats, mats, carpet and all the interior including doors just for $129

I will never ever go back to car toys and will never recommended to anybody else.

I got a radio installed last year around Black Fri...

I got a radio installed last year around Black Friday at the Tacoma location and about two months ago it started acting up, turning on and off by itself, shutting down then remaining on stand by . Called into the Bellevue location to schedule an appointment and once they realized my warranty was almost ending they got me scheduled for their soonest appointment. They checked the radio and ended up setting me up with the newest model and reinstalling it all free of charge! Very kind and accommodating staff. I am so thankful.
