Can't trust them. Very pushy. I filled out the forms for them to check my credit but told them to wait until I was ready. Several times they said they would wait. They didn't.
I bought a Nissan Altima from Capital Toyota in September of 2019. In February, 2020 the transmission started acting up. The dealership kept it for a week & a half & refused to fix it. Now on Friday, March 27th the transmission is completely out & inoperable, leaving us without a car. I am unable to get another loan due to not being able to trade this one in & because it is a new loan & I am upside down on it. There is a class action lawsuits on Nissan Altima between 2013 & 2016 & I'm sure the dealership was aware of this issue. They have made my credit even worse because I cannot pay for a car when I have no way to work to pay for it, much less pay for a car that doesn't run & is stranded on the side of the highway.
I have taken my car to there service dept. A total of Three times. My first experience was not pleasant. The communication was horrific! It took over 3 weeks for them to charge me $1600 for a fuel pump and labor. 3 3mos later I experienced the same problems with my vehicle. At first they told me the fuel pump was bad but it wouldn't cost anything it was covered under warranty. Then a day or two goes by and they tell me I had kerosene in my tank so they would have to flush the cars fuel system. $300 Now the 3rd time was 2mos after that. Same problems same symptoms, but again it turns out that I have some bad gas. Hmmmm somethings fishy about that... No reports on the news about bad gas. I always gas up at the same spot. I have know enemies that I know of. And I bought a lock for my tank! I assumed the 6 master technicians they boasted about would have got me together already but I feel I'm being taken advantage of.
Oil change appt should be spaced so customer doesn't wait for an hour and a half. James was good as usual, Capital, schedule better on oil change to retain business!

I had agreat experience with buying my new Sienna van at Capital Toyoto. They did not have what I was looking for, but they one a van with the options I wanted from melse where and gave me a great deal on it.
I was impressed with everyone I dealt, but especially the the finance manager and the sales manager. They made feel like they wanted my business, but also wanted me to be satisfied first and foremost.
I had a very pleasurable experience.
We went to a couple of dealers here in Knoxville to test drive the cars we were interested in. The service was okay, but they kept pressuring us to use their finance department, even though we told them upfront we were pre-approved through USAA's Car Buying Service.
We decided a late model Toyota Camry XSE or XLE was what we wanted. I searched the USAA True Car service online and contacted six USAA approved dealers in a 200 mile radius. I heard from all of them by email and phone in a reasonable amount of time. Sharon Ricketts contacted me by email immediately and then by phone shortly after. Shortly after we started our conversation, she conveyed her heartfelt appreciation for our family's service in the military. We talked about what I was looking for and when I had specific questions about features, got me in touch with Alfred Odister right away. Alfred answered all of my questions and was not at all pushy. He gave me his cell number and encouraged me to call or text if we had further questions or wanted to drive to Chattanooga to test drive the cars he had available. He assured me that he could handle our USAA transaction and never pressured us to consider their financing.
After a couple more calls and texts, we let Alfred know they had the car we wanted, for a great price on the lot. We let him know we were headed his way. Alfred was waiting in the parking lot, waving as we drove in! I arrived with all of my paperwork in hand and found there was an error with information on the website but they handled it professionally and quickly. They more than made up for the error.
We got to meet Sharon too. She was just as pleasant and kind in person as she was on the phone. I train Realtors to follow up on online business and Sharon did everything the way I teach my agents. She's a true asset!
The car was just what we wanted, we test drove it and and decided we wanted it. About an hour later, we drove off the lot with a full gas tank and a clean shiny 2015 Camry XSE. Alfred asked us to keep in touch and let him help with any questions about the car's technology features. Honestly, he did such an excellent job explaining everything, we were good driving off the lot. We have talked and texted about a couple of things and he's been very helpful.
I would most highly recommend both Alfred Odister and Capital Toyota. The service, care and customer service are top notch!

My wife and I decided it was time to start shopping for a new car. We decided to look at Toyota, Nissan and Ford. The Atlanta Auto Show was coming up and it was time to see what's out there before going to the show. We started out at the Toyota dealership and never went onto the others because of the quality and friendly service we received at this dealership. We test drove the RAV4 and enjoyed it a lot. Then we went onto the Highlander for the additional room. Understanding the Highlander was more expensive and a larger vehicle, it was something to compare. My wife and I fell in love with the Highlander instantly and Marco was GREAT to deal with. He answered all our questions, very kind and was never pushy at all. This was a great buying experience for us. This is our third Toyota from this dealership, owning a total of four Toyota's in my lifetime. I've never had any mechanical issues with any of our Toyota's.

Need to fix Service Website. I tried making a simple oil change appointment and it will not take the make and model of car - the form is LOCKED on the Toyota Scion which I do NOT own. I tried three different web browsers and the phone/mobile and all do the same thing.

I remembered why we didn't buy our last Toyota at Capital Toyota; you don't listen. At your recommendation, we installed 225/65R's on our previous 2009 RAV-4. All I wanted was the same kind of ride on our 2015 RAV-4. You said Toyota didn't recommend 225/60R's. You installed 235/55R's. So much for car sales in Nashville.

It is a robbery this place, I went for a brake problem, and the arrangement was like 2 thousand dollars, in the end I paid 300 dollars for a revision, I solved my problem in another place for much less than its revision cost including warranty, not I recommend, they are thieves

I pulled in and was driving thru the parking lot. A red headed man chased me down as I was driving 3 mph and demanded that I tell him what kind of vehicle I was looking for and to let me know he had been assigned to help me. I told him I was just looking and didn't need any help yet. He got aggravated and told me he was going to help anyhow. It was so off putting we left and purchased from another dealer.
Buying a Prius V was the most pleasurable experince in all my years of buying cars. The sales preson treated me a brother and was very honest about everting. I purchased wtih a joy and that is something new for me.
Will was great. He had a real stick-to attitude. We felt we were treated excellently.
My family has been doing business here with Bob and Jeff McKamey for many years. We bought our first Corolla hatchback back in 1987 I believe and have continued doing business here over the years. Several Corollas, a Tercel, a Tacoma, and recently a 4 Runner. There is a little waiting period at the service center but that's what you get for good quality service you can trust and depend on. The salesman Jose "Pepe" De la Riva was very easy to work with from the beginning to the end of the transaction. He was easy to get in touch with and answered all our questions quickly. Finance Dept was also very easy to work with.

Had such a great experience buying a car from Chandler!
Took my car to get repaired after an accident at the beginning of April. The bra on my front end was damaged, so they said they would order me a new one and just get reimbursed from the insurance company. I got my car back in one week, and the repair was shoddy. They replaced my front bumper but did not take the time to repair the frame, which was slightly crumpled. There is now a 1/2-inch+ gap around the bumper. It wasn't horribly noticeable, so I let it go. They told me my bra, which had to be custom-made, would be in in 2-4 weeks.
8 WEEKS LATER, they "have no idea" where the bra might be. Amanda at the front desk would transfer my call all over the Toyota dealership every time I called, or she'd say "Let me check on that, and I'll call you back...." Of course, she never once called me back. This went on for 4 weeks. Finally, I called the company that makes the bra, and they told me it was delivered to Capital 2 weeks ago!!! I called Capital, told them I knew it had been delivered and was coming by to pick it up. The man I spoke to very hesitantly said that they had ordered the wrong bra. Since it was custom-made, it was non-returnable, and I would just have to keep the wrong one. They had known this for weeks and were probably waiting to get paid by the insurance company before letting me know what they had done. Luckily, I explained everything to the other party's insurance company, who then informed Capital that they would have to eat the cost of the wrong bra ($163!), and State Farm would personally reimburse me after ordering one myself.
BEWARE of these lazy crooks. Take your car elsewhere.

We had a great experience at Capital Toyota. They spent an great deal of time helping to make sure we had just the right vehicle for us when we found ourselves back and forth between a couple of models and even arranged for a rather extended test drive since we were going to use this vehicle for a good bit of Interstate driving. There was no pressure to buy one "off the lot" with many offers to find exactly the right combination of features & colors if the perfect one was not on the lot. They did have many on the lot though. The pricing was good. We'd recommend this dealer.
I will never let these idiots touch my vehicle again. I took my 2014 Camry in for an oil change and a tire rotation. When I left, I drove for about 10 miles before hearing a ticking noise from my engine. I checked the oil and there was about one drop on the end of the dipstick. I called my wife and she brought me four quarts of oil. It took all four to get the oil to the top of the dipstick. But, the ticking is still there. I took the car back and the technician that worked on my vehicle said it was like that when it came in. I guess I'm SOL. I will NEVER let thesee shade tree idiots touch my car again.

Brandon Barnes helped me find a great deal on a used Corolla. I didn't know exactly what I wanted, but he was patient with me while I browsed a large selection of options. He never once tried to sway my decision or rush me. While he worked on the paperwork, I enjoyed watching TV and lounging on a sofa.
He also worked out a way to get me the monthly payment I needed.
The entire experience was exactly the opposite of what I expected. Laid back and fun. I love my Corolla and I would recommend them to anyone.

Very bad experience here at this dealership. The sales manager (AJ?) had the worse people skills I ve ever seen for someone working with the public. I was going to trade my loaded 2017 Nissan Maxima Platinum with 16000 miles on it and paid for. He wanted to give me $23,000.00 for it. It was just his demeanor and the tact he used in dealing with us. He would not let my husband nor myself talk, he was always talking over us. And belittling us. He acted as if our cash didn t mean anything it wasn t good enough. A horrible experience! Such poor poor customer service. I would advice anyone to stay clear of him. He will snowball you. And the little barbie saleswoman turned so quickly on us in the end.
