I dealt with 2 people at this dealer. And sadly the experience was not at all easy nor smooth. The pricing was really good( this is a too good to be true apparently) so I contacted them and they did try to work with me for a good price but out of our budget still, so we said no. Then the very next day car price goes down by 1,000.. I call then as now it is closer to my budget and the 2nd person I talk to really works woth the pricing with me (maybe they were to eager to get rid of the car). So I go in and see the car we are about to take it then we mention about being able to take it to a mechanic... they say no!! That to me is already a red flag... so when we ask why they are unable to tell us why not they just said they don t docit someone has to come there to see it!! HMM! So ok we leave we are not purchasing the car. Waste of time. 2 days later I get a call from the guy I had originally had spoken to about the car that car price has gone down.. I tell him the situation about not being able to take it with a mechanic and he kind of gets upset that Indid not inform him Inwent to see car and that I had gone with someone else.. I ignore it and get to the point, I would like to see car and take it to a mechanic of my choice and he rapidly says oh someone is looking at car I ll call you in a few minutes.. then why did you answered if you couldn t talk? hmm weird!! So he calls back and then says I can only take it to a Honda certified dealer and that there is one right across the street. But he assured me before that they let people take them to mechanics of their choice!! By this point i m done and just can t trust them, also in san jose many mechanics will not work on cars because Dealers call and threaten them..( what a few mechanics told us why they wouldn t inspect a car) so made me think maybe the honda dealer infront would help them inspect the car and say it s all good. So just super scetchy.. and just made me uncomfortable to purchase a car that expensive and not have the reassurance that the car is in good condition!!! Looks like san jose is a bad option to buy a car in general!! DO NOT BUY from HERE or San Jose!!

I bought my Chrysler back in 2008(at Stevens creek Chrysler) Normandin Chrysler has been closer to where I live there for I frequented it for all my maintenance and more advanced mechanical issues- I normally work on my car myself. I just feel like my review of this place is overdue. From the moment I call and I m asked where should they direct my call, to when I actually shows up for the service. My experience was not enjoyable. 8 out of 10 I dealt with a non friendly, not polite, not patient, rude person, I don t recall the sell advisers names but for the most part they gave off a sense of superiority as if things are only done their way because the customer, in this case my self, doesn't know best. Many times I felt like they would up-sell me and what can you do? You need your car out of there, right? So you end up paying what they ask for. If I kept going detailing my every visit I ll be writing for a while, I do have to say my best interactions where with some of the actual mechanics and some young people in the parts desk, or the very nice old man handing out a paper when you pull up for service.My main reason for writing this review is that, I though I was done dealing with this dealership but I m not. My mechanic advice me to bring the car in because there is a part that was recall and replace but is now malfunctioning,plus they would need to program the keys. My last visit was maybe 2 years ago but I m now getting a headache and anxiety thinking I have to bring my car in next Wednesday. I hope they have new staff or they have provided better training.

I brought my '08 Jeep Rubicon in for service for a handling shimmy. I assumed that I'd get the usual flack about having aftermarket suspension and wheels/tires on the lifted jeep and we'd have a long argument about whether there was warranty coverage - the horror stories I hear from so many other Jeep owners. Instead, a pleasant surprise - the service writer called me, explained what they were going to try to fix the issue, and gave me a time quote. They installed a new steering damper & bracket under warranty, did a recall service I had forgotten about [unrelated to the shimmy], and had our Jeep back on the road quickly with a total bill of $0.00 :) It's better service than I've gotten from BMW for cars 3x the price. I'm quite pleased.

I really love my 2017 Dodge ram truck that I bough...

I really love my 2017 Dodge ram truck that I bought there but the service left something to be desired. About halfway into my lease the truck had problems with its fill valve for the gas tank. I took it in for service and they fixed it but a month later started having problems again. I took it back into service and they kept it over a month and said there was about 10 gallons of water in the gas tank. They argued with me over the cause, saying that it was vandalism but I can't imagine someone putting 10 gallons of water into a vehicle's gas tank. and I ended up having to file an insurance claim and pay our deductible out of pocket. They also argued with me over the rental vehicle they promised me, not wanting to foot the bill.

Very bad service. They had to change oil and check levels, but forgot a lot of things (the levels were below the min). Also the oil light stayed on. We did get a sticker to remind us for the next appointment, so at least we got that. This is unacceptable service

Worst service ever. Made appointment 2 times and when I showed up they did not have me on their list. The 3rd time they did but they did not work on my car till 1.5 hours later and I m sitting on lounge thinking they are working on it.

I can't say enough about how profesional the team ...

I can't say enough about how profesional the team at Normandin is, not to mention how pleasant everyone from reception, sales and parts treated my wife and I. I've purchased dozens of vehicles over the years at many different dealers. I can honestly say this was one of the best experiences. Often purchasing a new vehicle can bring on panic attacks and thoughts of "will I or will I not get the best deal possible". The team at Normandin works with you and is very upfront on pricing with very good prices. There was no back and forth hagle going to managers, finance, all the back and forth that you may have experienced at other dealerships. Straight up, knowledgeable, professional and top quality team. Now if I can only get my wife to hand over the keys! Jeep Grand Cherokee (Trailhawk).

If I could give a 0 stars I would made a appt 3 weeks out showed up half hour early for my appt and waited 50 min for somebody to help and this is the second time coming back for the same problem I'll never come back here again

I ve had my 2015 Dodge Durango for 3 and a half years now and don t have any complaints. I didn t buy from this dealership but I do get my services done at this location. Exceptional service by all the staff especially Travis, always helpful and knowledgeable! The wait can sometimes be a little long but they offer a free shuttle and communicate when your vehicle is ready.

My experience with this dealership was really bad, they just want to scam you when the seller's very stupid idiot almost did not qualify for the loan ..... we ran into words but there was everything left ... there is no ... I recommend it

Buyer beware.

Buyer beware.
I bought a 2013 Ford F250 the beginning of July 2020. Traveled from out of town to come to the dealer and look at it. When arriving at the dealer there was a few minor issues with windows and mirrors that they failed to mention when I had talk to them the day before on the phone. At that point I should have just walked away. We ended up making a deal and I drove the vehicle home, before arriving to my hometown the vehicles check engine light came on and die On me while driving on the freeway. I was able to pull over try to diagnose the problem and the book said I was out of DEF. I then went to a truckstop and purchased DEF and filled the vehicle. I took the vehicle to my local Ford dealer they recommended changing the fuel filters. I paid to have that work done out of my own pocket and I had not even owned the vehicle 24 hours yet. A few days later the vehicle died on me three times. Coming home from that same trip died on me many times. Call the dealership they refused to help me. I took the vehicle to my local Ford dealer where they started to run diagnostic on it. They finally figured out the issue but the dealer refuses to help pay for the repairs. The repairs are going to be around $9000. I have contacted the dealer many times and they are refusing to help. The only thing they recommend me doing is filing an insurance claim stating that somebody tampered with the fuel system. This is the most dishonest dealership I have ever dealt with in my life..........The only reason I m giving a one star is because I have to

I live by tahoe, but work in the Bay Area. I lost my Jeep key and only had a key that would open the doors manually, but the alarm goes off until the key is placed in the ignition. I stopped by this Jeep dealership and Rob Cho was awesome!! He had another key made for me. I know it was short notice and I appreciate the service staff staying and making it happen. I wasn t in there buying a vehicle, just trying to replace a lost key that was needed to return home. Will I buy my next Jeep there? You bet I will! If they have this kind of customer service, I m sure buying a vehicle from them will be a great experience!! They went out of their way!! Thank you Rob and service staff! Well Done!!

Took my 2014 Ram 1500 truck here for service and warranty work. After some terrible experiences at other dealer, Steven Creek Dodge, I was not expecting much. Reyes Portillo, who is the truck service adviser, was fantastic. He was clear, open and honest. He even fixed work that was done incorrectly by the other dealer! It was a great experience to be treated like a customer again.

First, I drive a Fiat purchased from DGDG who promptly pawned the business off on Normandin. They have ONE Fiat Service advisor, Melissa. She was much more friendly at DGDG - probably because she has to handle all the Fiat service on her own here. Regardless, had my first business with them for oil change. The "express" took 3.5 hours. No other option for an in-warranty oil change. That afternoon, while my car idled, a plume of white smoke billowed out of the exhaust. I called Melissa, she was positive it was "condensation."
Called back after a week of it. "No worries, I'm sure it's condensation." No invitation to bring it by for a look. Now its happening just sitting at a light 3 weeks later during a heat wave - condensation is thick white smoke with a metallic smell? Decided to come online to see reviews only to find most are having similar experiences. My nightmare is that the only other service within 200 miles for Fiat is in Burlingame. Judging by what I've read I can expect not to get a call back from service no matter how urgent my plea. Sigh.
Validating that wierd, "wait forever in this long line to be checked in..." thing:
Made an appointment for recall, AN APPOINTMENT, and had to wait 25 minutes just to get checked in for a 15 minute recall computer update, which in reality took 30 minutes.
I'm stuck with this, or driving an hour. Wish I knew ahead of time that Fiat was going to disregard their customers this way. It started out so sweet...

I had a very good experience at Normandin. Contacted Chris at internet sales and got all the answers I needed, and he was super quick at responding to all my queries, before coming in for a test drive.
They were never pushy but just super helpful. They also gave me a great deal on my trade-in which saved me time and hassle. The transaction was really smooth, and I couldn't have been better treated. I also am super happy with the new car. Highly recommended.

I tried to buy a Chrysler vehicle and went to this dealership twice. For the first terrible visit experience, I thought it might be an exception. Came back several days later and received much worse sale service. I finally went to a different car dealership and got a different vehicle on the second day.

Service has never been high on the list of Normand...

Service has never been high on the list of Normandin but it has reached a new low! if you want to wait for ages to have them look at your warranty issues or fix something trivial, this is the place for you! they do not even answer the phones to set up appointments and they are so understaffed that they will not get to your car until you are old... stay away if you can!

Normandin had the best price for a new car we were shopping around for, but we were about 6 hours away. Our salesman Chris worked with us on our deal for a few days before we ultimately decided to make the trip from Southern California. Once we got there it was quick and easy process finalizing paperwork, there were no hidden surprises or fees, and we happily drove away in a brand new Cherokee. There was nothing slimy about this dealership, everyone we dealt with was was honest, friendly, and accommodating (thanks for keeping our coffee cups full!) from Chris our salesman to Harry the finance guy! We will absolutely be returning to do more business.

Great dealership. Amazing customer service. No hassles. Purchased my car in a hurry and overlooked a few problems. I don't drive often and I didn't find them for weeks. I called and spoke with Scott Normandin and he made sure everything got fixed free of charge as it was a CPO vehicle. Scott is an amazing employee and went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with my purchase. I would purchase a car from them again.

Visit #1: Slow check in for service. Visit #2: Phone calls went to voicemail with no callback. Once I finally got an appointment scheduled they wanted $3800 to fix. Took it somewhere else and had the same exact work done for under $900. Sorry but I will not be taking my vehicle here anymore.
