These guys are terrible.
These guys are terrible.
My car recently pooped the bed so I've been in the market for a brand new one and I landed on a Nissan Versa.
The first time I started looking, I had to leave and come back the next weekend (I live in Raleigh.) The guy showing me around forgot to give me back my driver's license so I was without it for several days. That same gentleman - he's new - also asked me all of the same questions at least twice (email, phone number.)
They called me during the week and, having all of my information, assured me they had the Versa I was looking for in my price range. When I got there, it turns out that wasn't true, and that monthly payments were more than double. It was like pulling teeth to get them to come down AT ALL from sticker, and they had all these services attached - "Auto Butler," where they'll detail your car. They finally agreed to take off these superfluous services and then acted like they were doing me a favor for doing so - noooo thank you; I am perfectly capable of vaccuuming out my own car every once in a while.
The Sales Manager, Chris Paine was kind of a hilarious car salesman stereotype. He forgot the new guy's name and had to ask ME what his own employee's name was. He seemed completely unfamiliar with what kind of car he was even trying to sell me.
This was the most hilarious part: When I tried to tell him I had run reports on what a fair price would be for this exact car, he countered with, "Oh, I'm sure you could find something for even cheaper than that! But you're not thinking about what you're getting with it. You may find something for much cheaper, but it wouldn't have power windows or power locks." Which was hilarious, because NEITHER DID THIS CAR.
I went home, went on the website for a Nissan dealership in Cary and found an upgraded Versa that DID have those things, and more features added on, and brand new (2015) for the same price, if not cheaper.
These guys are incompetent at best and morally questionable at worst. Skip 'em.
