Will never trust this dealership again. We have a college student (female) that needed her car looked over. After a list of what the dealer said needed to be done, the go ahead was given with the communication that this was a 19 year old female and she needed to be safe on the road. After having the car for 3 days she got it back to come home. Home was a 160 mile drive. Half way home her transmission went out. She was able to get it to an Autozone that filled it with transmission fluid as the fluid had leaked completely out. She then drove it to another Nissan dealer. Communication with Nissan Capital began at the time she got stuck out in booneyville. The people we talked to over the weekend suggested that something had gone wrong with the transmission line they installed or that the flush may have caused problems. The dealer that she drove it to did an inspection and told us that they thought the work on the transmission was faulty and that it caused the transmission to go. Nissan Capital wanted to give us deals on replacing the transmission. We had the car towed home and had a car repair that we trust go over the car. They also felt the work was faulty and that what had been done to the car was not correct for the problems it was having. Nissan came back saying we told your daughter that she may have problems with the transmission. What???? You tell a 19 year old girl that your car is good to go but you may have problems so beware. This after she paid $1600. It cost us $250 to tow the car home and $3500 for a new transmission. The original charges were disputed and Nissan would not credit for the transmission work because my 19 year old daughter had signed the paperwork and the work was paid for. Will not trust this dealership to take care of my daughter's car and jeopardize her safety again.
