My son bought a car from this dealership. He was not given all the available financing choices. He tried to get it rectified and the financial officer told him it was "illegal in N.C." to cancel one contract and rewrite it. It was brought to my attention that it is not illegal, he just didn't want to be bothered giving my son 0% financing instead of the rebate, which my son said he wanted. This is definitely a dealership you have to be aware of everything before you go in to buy a car.
I would also add that Kaitlyn is great at making sure all is done to my car with perfection.
I did need to call several times to confirm vehicle rental. The day of the appointment I called 3 times. Then the staff an hour before the appointment helped me right away and when I arrived my vehicle was ready. I was glad to see this service is now completed through the dealership instead of with Enterprise.
Staff are always very attentive.

Let's start with unethical sales tactics.
So Sherlly and Becky expressed that there will be a $500 nonrefundable deposit to hold the vehicle. Later Michael told John to call and alter the agreement to a $5,000.00 nonrefundable deposit before every viewing the car. They decided to alter the agreement after retaining financial information.
Only logical reason is, they are selling cars that would be otherwise less acceptable in person.
I'll be filling complaints as necessary.
Response to (owner): They wanted a $5000.00 nonrefundable downpayment before examining the car. We went from $500 deposit to $5k. In addition, the hidden fees such as nitro fill. Moreover, the warranty offer changed frequently through negotiation. Your dealership is a sham. I would never let you waste another second of my time. Unless you send me a $5,000.00 nonrefundable payment for wasting my time and attempting to fraud me, I might call in and discuss it afterwards. (Same offering you imposed) As I mentioned to John this will happen and he stated "oh well."
Your statement makes it more evident that their is much animosity behind your staffs statements. Try selling not stealing, it often builds better relationships.

Best experience buying a car ever, hands down! Capital Nissan and especially David Kelly, made it stress free and easy. David knows his cars and he answered all our questions. He made sure we bought the vehicle that was right for us. He didn't rush us or pressure us into buying, he just wanted to make sure we went away satisfied whether we bought a car or not. No pressure in the finance office either, Patrick Barnes, our Finance Officer, was outstanding as well. Instead of trying to sell us something, he actually saved us money!

Staff went above and beyond! I lost my car keys on the 1st day of my vacation...it gets better...then my car got towed from where it was. I called my roadside assistance company to assist me with a locksmith. Lovksmith gets to the tow company the next day and doesn't have the correct key and tells me he cant get my correct key for another 4 days. I tow my vehicle to nissian thinking it was going to cost me an arm and a leg. The sales associates assure me they will make me 2 keys and program them both for the price of one! Not only that, they were $100 cheaper than the local locksmith and could get me both keys in 2 hrs and still gave my husband and I the military discount (which we are). Highly recommend!!!

They found the problem quickly, asked us what we would like to do about it, INCLUDING less costly alternatives. Which we chose not to do because we wanted to keep the Z an original classic. But we were thankful that they were considerate of our needs!

As the owner of a Nissan LEAF, I am very surprised at the lack of information or promotion about electric vehicles. Perhaps the dealership needs a display showing all the benefits of owning an EV, and make the showroom/service eco friendly, like not using STYROFOAM cups and not using 10 sheets of paper for each service visit.

I'm a Jacksonville, Fl resident and was having a lot of trouble finding the truck with the options I liked. Finally found it online at Capital Nissan and worked with David Kelly on all the particulars. We worked out a great deal and my girlfriend and I drove up that weekend to pick it up. David was very helpful and took the time to show me all the ins and outs of my new Frontier.. He helped with everything from setting up my bluetooth for my phone to demoing the backup camera and showing me how to lock down the bed extender. I would highly recommend both this dealership and David in particular if you're in the market for a Nissan. They even worked out all the details for my out-of-state purchase to make that part as seamless as possible.
Went in with my husband today to buy a Nissan Altima 2.5 S at the Summer Savings Event. After meeting with a sales agent there, we told him the price range we were looking for, he took my husband's information, left the office, came back and proceeded to tell us that my husband's name was " a rash in their system". It was the most unprofessional most uncomfortable experience in my life. I could not believe he verbally attacked my husband the way he did. Then he proceeded to tell us that the listed "warranty and butler advantage" fees were bundled in the MSRP of the window sticker even though the "extras" were individually listed under the MSRP price. After leaving and coming back to the office twice, another sales associate who introduced himself as the sales manager came into the office and told us that the lowest out the door price they can give us was 4000.00 above the advertised price. After being treated the way we were, we left the dealership and decided to buy else where.

I was scared to drive my car Saturday due to it repeatedly cutting off on me while driving. I called other dealerships who told me I wouldn t be seen for weeks. She was a lifesaver- she not only got me in the same day but went out of her way to find out my extended warranty information from another dealer and go over the process with me. We had an overall good experience, but we had more issues after the warranty repair was complete.
Wouldn't recommend them to anyone. I am a senior and went there by myself and unprepared to make a major purchase. They persuaded me to accept a 2011 instead of the 2012 model I wanted claiming they couldn't give me the great deal on it Then they quoted monthly payments on an 84 month loan stating it was a close comparison to the monthly payments I had at the time (but my prior loan was only a 60 month loan). Many hours later in the finance office I was surprised to find out that they were only going to pay off a portion of the loan on the trade-in when they had told me the loan would be paid off. I only had the trade-in vehicle which I bought from them 2-1/2 months prior and took a beating to the tune of over $6,000. One more thing. They had my car I used to get there and wouldn't allow me to leave in order to get my own financing and inquire about getting a better trade-in amount elsewhere. Wish I had the wherewithal at the time to call the police - the only way they would have taken me seriously and allow me to leave. There are 20 negative reviews out of 53 on Google reviews and only 6 negative reviews out of about 140 on Nissan's own website. Doesn't look right to me. One honorable thing they did though. After many hours of lies and manipulations and ignoring my pleas to put the sale on hold, I broke down and cried and they let me have the car I chose from the start. Granted, I wasn't prepared make a major purchase that day or very sharp, but they took full advantage of me nevertheless. What makes all this worse is that Capital Nissan claims they did nothing wrong. How will they improve on the way they treat some customers if they feel they are perfect already?
The sales experience went well. But we had a bad service experience; they know how to sell cars, however when customer has a problem, defective windshield like we did, they refer you to your insurance company.
I sent them pictures to corporate which they did not even see nor open, with no results...after waiting for two weeks.
This will be my last Nissan for sure.
I have a 2018 Nissan Altima Midnight Edition and every time I have had service done my service advisor Rachel has taken phenomenal care of me and my vehicle. Never had any problems or complaints and it's always washed and looking good when I leave. Those guys at Capital are the best!!!

Today I met a strange man lol name Popeye over at the port city Java. We started talking about cars and he told me he Worked with you all over at Capital Nissan of Wilmington. I just wanted to take a minute and tell you how very pleasant it was to talk to him he is a good representative of your company and the way all car dealers should be like he took the time to tell me different things that I can do to help boost my credit and how the car system works so I would be able to buy a new car. Most car salesman's don't care about that they just want to push you into something that you can't afford to boost their sales. I'm deathly gonna take his advice and fix some things and come and see Popeye to buy a car!
Car dealers need more people like Popeye to work for them maybe more people will be able to buy cars you have a good employee there.

They put me in a 2017 Nissan Rogue loaner car until my 2011 Nissan Versa's recalled airbag gets fixed spring 2018! Becky was so nice and helpful. She even let me chose what colour Rouge I wanted.

While traveling through Wilmington, NC from Connecticut I had the pleasure of stopping in Capital Nissan. I was helped by Tom Chappell when my key stopped working. He was so professional and courteous. He was really a joy to work with. He told me that the battery in my key was dead and to my surprise he replaced it for free!!

However, what makes a dealership top notch after you have purchased a vehicle is a Service Center that provides excellence in customer service. Capital Nissan Service Center Team is just that top notch, friendly, focused on your needs and never try sell you what you don't need. Rachal Brinson has been my Service Advisor for quite some time and has always provided exceptional service making sure my vehicles have been serviced correctly and addresses any concerns. In my recent visit my key fob battery was low and Rachel quickly replaced it. These are little things that make a big difference! Also the Courtesy Shuttle Service Team always makes sure I arrive to work in timely manner. This is why I have been going to Capital Nissan for about 7 years for service and parts needs.

EDIT TO THIS REVIEW(7-21-16) Originally my rating was 5 stars but I must change it for 2 reasons. 1. hard time with service department. The passenger side window switch wasn't working properly, have the extended warranty so I took it in a week after I bought it, the service department looked it over said no problem to fix, will be covered will take about an hour and scheduled a return appointment a week later. I showed up sat for over 2 hours before I got my car back I then left because I had an appointment, tried out the window, wouldn't work so I took it back the same afternoon about an hour after I got it back and sat for another 30 minutes while someone else checked it out only to be told that it was more than the switch, that the person who originally looked it over was incorrect, had been let go and another appointment had to be made. They were supposed to pick my car up at my work early the morning of 7-20-16, fix the window issue, wash and detail it and have it back to me by 5pm. I had to call these people twice the morning of before they finally decided to show up at 11:30am. I got my car back at 4:45pm so they did what they were supposed to but with me having to ride their butts about it. 2) Staci in the finance department is about worthless. I've called and left several messages for her as well as the finance department in general regarding my extended warranty paperwork that she said she had emailed directly to me 2 days after my purchase. I never got it and I did check all folders and both email address several times. Called her and left a message, no return call, called and left a message for the finance department, no return call, spoke directly with Staci when I took my car for the window appointment and she said "I'll email it to you right now and also put a copy in the mail" this was on Friday, July 15th, I never got it. Called her back on 7-20-16 and left a message, again no response. Finally spoke with someone by the name of Jeff today, the 21st who took my information and said he will fax it to me before 5pm today and also put a copy in the mail. We'll see.
Right now about the only person at Capital Nissan I will talk to is Kelli Williams and maybe Nick in service as we was very apologetic and helpful regarding my window and after my phone calls, did what he said he would do. As far as anyone else, nope, if I have to call you to remind you to do your job or have to bring my car in a second time to fix issues that your service people didn't troubleshoot correctly and fix the first time, I don't have much use for you.

Just bought a pre owned Nissan Rogue here. I was very happy with the level of customer service. My salesperson, Shawn Cotton, did a great job in helping this to be a painless process. He wasnt pushy and made my car buying experience a positive one. Rick in finance was also great. Everyone here is accommodating and easy to work with.

11 year customer at Nissan dealer at lake Norman, NC. (4 Nissan's). Moved here, looking for new SUV and asking about service on my Frontier. Asked service mgr to honor other dealers commitment to rotate tires every other oil change. He said no. Went back following month for inspection, they were too busy, would call me. Never received call. Called to get estimate for scheduled maintenance, transferred to service- no one answered. Heading to MB!
F-ING NIGHTMARE. Because of Capital Nissan I will never by from anothet Capital dealership. I bought a Nissan Titan from them, I had arranged to come in the day after seeing it to sign the papers and pick it up. They said it would be ready. I waited for nearly 4 hours to get it, they said the reason it was taking so long was the inspection. I got the truck with a quarter tank of gas in it. Then never got my permanent tags they call me a week or so later and the inspection was never done so I had to drive it back up there and wait again. A few days later and ill admit this is partially my fault for not checking underneath my buddy and I realize the tailpipe is not connected to the muffler, look under there and the muffler also has hole rusted all the way through it. Probably a result of having been in Vermont but I feel like they should have fixed it.Less than 60 days of having the vehicle I take it back up there because the automatic transmission is dropping itself from OD into 4th gear. They would not fix it unless I paid full price $701 for a 6inch wiring harness, and also I had to argue with Lee about paying them to diagnose the vehicle which I had bought less than 60 days before. Still had to pay like $70 for the diagnosis. I realized early on they were going to do nothingto back this vehicle they sold me, since I've realized it has a blown speaker, the slip light, and 4x4 light comes on intermittently, and the car fax showed a discrepancy with the mileage as though it had been rolled back. I'd just wary of buying from a Capital dealer.
In Wilmington on a business trip. On the drive in, belt started screaming and chirping. They looked at it quickly, ordered a new belt for the following day and replaced it quickly. Finished it off with a nice wash. Kaitlyn was very friendly and helpful.

Very friendly staff that was just about perfect as far as I am concerned. They were got me in and out in as little time as I could ask for. It was my first car buying experience through a dealer and they walked me through all the paper work and had no problem addressing any concerns I had. Got a great deal on the car and drove away a happy man.

I just have to say you have such a caring staff... Ken Hall (in the service department) went way above what anyone else would have done for us.. We were from out of town..broken down..no extra funds to speak of..He took us under his wing; had answers for us immediately and gave us an experience, to where, although I am 300 miles away...I would drive to buy from your dealership just to have that kind of service and caring again....Rachel was also a God send.. She listened as I had my melt down..Didn't rush me..and truly cared about our misfortunes.
These two should truly be commended... Every dealership should have these assets...They are rare.
