Went in on Saturday for first oil change. They completed the work in half the time and the staff was friendly and extremely helpful. Great visit.

We just had an amazing transaction with Capital Ford of Raleigh. Thank you for having experienced and knowledgeable staff. Richard Cappelletti hands down you took all the stress out of the buying experience. Thank you for returning our calls in a timely manner and for the updates on our questions. Thank you for the walkthrough on our new truck, we are really impressed on the ease of the transaction and how quickly you set everything up so that all we would need was to come in and finalize. We really appreciate all that you did. I will recommend your services. I need to also thank Andrew Green in finance. Thank you for sitting down with us before we signed papers and asked about our needs. We felt like you had our needs as your priority! Your knowledge of the Ford coverages for the ESP Care Plan and maintenance coverages helped in making a decision if we need them. After the details and explanation we bought both. We really appreciated your patience and kindness as we asked questions. Great buy and very happy!
Looking for a new car and Ford wasn't even one of the brands in my mental list. Drove a few imports and all were uncomfortable or overly expensive. Capital Ford came recommended, so I headed over for a test drive. I found the Escape to be incredibly comfortable with lots of space and a convenient interior layout.
Our salesman Roger was very friendly, knowledgeable and did not try to push us into purchasing a more expensive vehicle with options we did not care for. He handled my negotiation with patience and grace, and was able to get me a deal that I felt great about.
Ford really offers some great features for the price, the best value of any of the vehicles I looked at. When it comes time to look for a vehicle for my husband, I will be back.
Service n Sales are always on time and easy
To deal with
Great staff, are pushy as expected but are respectful
Thank you Capital Ford, however I want to give a special thanks to our salesman, Phillip Bouche. From the initial contact via the internet Phillip was very professional, courteous and made my husband and myself feel that it wasn't just about his commission. Thank you again Phillip, you have excellent customer service skills and it was a pleasure working with you. A good salesman makes a big difference and you are definitely an asset to Capital Ford.
Ken was so helpful in my new purchase. Highly recommend, will be reaching out to him for all my future vehicle needs and wants
My mustang had been clipped in a parking lot on November 12th. After talking to the drivers insurance company, they agreed to have the repairs done at Carolina Collision, a part of Capital Ford. This proved to be a wise choice. The repairs were completed in a timely and professional manner. Having bought the car at Capital, I will continue to use Capital for ALL servicing.
Bill Steed was the best salesman I dealt with in a extremely long time and capital was a class act, second vehicle from them in 2.5 years.
Bought a new Escape. Great experience. Sean the salesman and Jon in finance were great to work with.
Ordered a part for a customer at my business. Customer no showed attempted to return the part. They claimed I m came in a box which it did not, finally they came to pick the part up. I was continuing to do business with them immediately followed this return problem with an order. 2 days later the order had been cancelled no call no show. I called to figure out why I hadn t seen the part, I ve been informed they are no longer selling to my business. No explanation, no call to tell me just left my customer out to dry. Don t relay on this dealership to handle any problems in a respectful manner
'CJ' and the Management Team at Capital Ford created a very positive, memorable and pleasant experience for me. I was able to explain what I wanted to accomplish and they did the rest.
My hopes and expectations were met and highly exceeded by the excellent service and professionalism.
I strongly recommend and encourage anyone seriously seeking to make a real transaction occur to visit 'CJ' and the Team at Capital Ford.
Sincerely,
ry
Had oil pan leak from factory. Had capital ford replace pan. Leak was not fixed and oil dipstick was never put back in and oil blew all over engine. Went to Crossroads Ford and was unofficially told it looked like a 6 year old did the repair work on oil pan. Capital Ford had nothing to say about the issue other than bring it back and we will fix it again. Never again will I go to Capital Ford!!
I tried shopping for a used car here. Before I could even look at the inventory I was taken into the office, and presented a piece of paper to fill out--later I found out it was so they could run a credit check.
I refused to complete that paperwork because A) I don't want unnecessary credit checks harming my credit score, B) I hadn't even had the opportunity to check out any of the cars on the lot, C) the salesperson didn't even inform me that this was their intent, and I wasn't about to provide some aloof stranger my personal information without a good reason, and D) my credit score is so good that a commercial bank will lend at a lower APR than financing through a dealership, so I didn't want to finance through the dealership anyway.
When I refused to comply with the salesperson's request to complete the form, he said he couldn't help me and refused to provide me any additional service. I left and went to another dealership where that definitely DID NOT happen.
Jokes on them. I have EXCELLENT credit, I bought a car from Johnson Subaru of Cary the next day, and I wouldn't go near this lot again if they were giving away cars.
Why would they refuse to even speak to me about a car without running a credit check anyway? Did they just assume I didn't have the means to purchase a used car--which is hilarious is because it's not like they're selling high-end cars here. Why would they have assumed that--because of stereotypes and profiling? Good look, Capital Ford!
Service did not require an appointment and the wait was short; service was on time.
The waiting area at your facility on Millbrook Road was better than what is provided at your Capital Boulevard facility. There is no quiet place to work (too much canned music) while one waits for the service to be completed and there are limited places to plug in one's computer.
I am extremely happy with the service I received at Capital Ford. I was able to get a 07:30 appointment, oil change as well as the 20K mile check. I also was going to get the tires rotated but I was unable to find the key. The service rep told me that if I found it I could come back, he'd get it right in and they would rotate the tires. That's exactly what happened. I was back on the road in less than 45 minutes and I'm extremely happy. Thank You.....Sam Houston
My family and I have purchased several vehicles in the last 18 years from Don Estes at Capital Ford! My latest salesman was Yahya. THE SERVICE HERE IS JUST AS REMARKABLE TODAY AS IT WAS 18 YEARS AGO!!! The entire team works together from beginning to end, while keeping you updated as to what the next steps are. I am a true, LOYAL customer & I recommend Capital Ford to everyone searching for a company that finds your "true fit" automobile!!!
Very rude and unprofessional I had a different company do what they could do for half the price and with much better customer service
We didn't really like our 4-Runner that much. So we traded it in for the 2014 Ford Fusion. WE LOVE THE FUSION!!
We recently purchased a 2013 Ford Edge Limited from Dan Hill at Capital Ford and it was the best car buying experience I have ever had. Dan worked with us for three hours on a Saturday afternoon showing us both new and used vehicles, explaining options and helping us find the best fit for our budget. Once we decided on a car, we called Dan and all the paperwork was ready when we arrived to pick it up (which was awesome, considering he drove two hours to get to Capital Ford). Jesse in the finance office was helpful and explained everything very well to us. After our purchase, Dan took the time to explain all the features of the MyFordTouch system and the many options the car has.
We couldn't be more pleased with our purchase and our experience with Dan Hill and the entire staff at Capital Ford. Wouldn't consider buying a new or used car anywhere else.
I had the injector service performed on my '07 Fusion a week ago. It is running smoothly. I always fine the people who wait on me to be courteous and efficient.
Extremely pleased with my most recent visit and as of yet to be dissatisfied with any of the services I have received. As a person with a physical handicap, I found comfort in getting service required for resolving repairs without a lot of run-a-round. My service rep Michael Young was excellent in keeping me informed as well as advising the best options for resolving the vehicle issues The shuttle driver "Bubba" was exceptionally supportive and at-tentative to everyone timeline or schedules. One word to describe my experience is impressive.
John Blackwell helped us get into the F150 we wanted. Capital Ford is a no pressure dealership.
If you aren't purchasing a car at this dealership no one has time to help you and service is just as bad.
About a month ago I took my Ford Ranger to Capital for a air bag recall . When the job concluded they turned the truck back to me. When I started it I heard a beep alarm that lasted for awhile and then stopped.
I continued to drive it and each time I started the engine the alarm repeated itself and stopped. A few weeks later I took a long trip and every half hour the alarm sounded and stopped. When I returned home I called Capital to find out what the alarm might mean. It took three telephone calls to finially talk to someone and that was after hours of trying. When I finially was able to talk with someone their response was for me to set an appointment and bring it in. I decided not to waste my time and call the general manager directly. I talked with the sales manager and he arranged for me to bring in at opening time the next morning (Saturday) . I was there at 7:30am and was out by 8:00am. Turns out there was a connector that was loose.
That means the original job was not complete and the tech had a clear indication there was a problem. Capital Service does not listen to their customers, the people who answer there phones do not know how the deal and communicate with customers, and it appears their techs are pushed to go from job to job to move people through the process, get them out and move on. The result is the lazy attitude cost customers more money and Capital to loose customers. I firmly believe this is a management problem, employees reflect the atitudes of the company and therefore it s management. I will never buy another veichle from Capital or use the service functions. They deserve zero stars but that s not permitted in this review process. Darn they act like my time doesn t matter and tend not to accept responsibility for anything. Boo Capital !
I purchased my from this location back in August of 1996. Shawna Ouzts helped with me the process and referred me to the correct people to make things happen. Recently I had an issue with my vehicle and there was a delay in corrected it. I made (1) phone to call to Shawna and it was taken care of the next day! She really wants Ford customers to be happy and satisfied! I know if I have an issue I can count on her to do all she can to make things happen. She definitely cares about Ford customers, takes pride in her job and makes things happen. Definitely a great asset to Ford!
I only let the service department at Capital Ford work on my TBIRD.
Professional, techs are really good.
Service Advisors are more than gracious and a pleasure to deal with,
Thanks to everyone that keep my Ford vehicles running and maintained.
I enjoyed working with Dan Hill and the selection at Capital Ford! Dan was very knowledgeable and easy to work with!
Ben Stem gave me the smoothest car buying experience I've ever had.
Very bad experience. Didn't reply text or any email. They all seem like quite busy and if you don't want to buy it immediately, they would better to take their time to other prospective customers.
I was very please with my experience with capital ford. This was my 7th F150 that I have purchased from them. Worked with Mr. Anderson this time and he was very helpful.
When I take my vehicle into Capital Ford for service or repairs, I don t have to worry. I m at ease because I know that my vehicle is in good hands. They made ( her) so they know what to do.
I don t have to sit all day waiting on them I make my appointment and I m always in and out. My vehicle always is returned back to me clean. There is no sight of oil or dirt on my vehicle inside or out. My personal service guy is Austin and I want to say thank you to Capital Ford for your 8 years of service and thank you Austin for taking good care of me, as always it s been a pleasure being part of your team work.

Emeka was awesome in helping my father get into my most perfect vehicle! So thankful for his help! The car buying process normally isn t this easy but Capital Ford made it super easy! Highly recommend Capital Ford for your vehicle needs!
I had a great experience at Capital Ford!! Doug Creech was awesome. He truly helped me instead of just trying to sale me something. I explained what I wanted and he went to work. Mike Vevurka was awesome as well. Helped me get the best price, warranty, payment and interest rate. Great guys. Doug continued to make sure my mother was ok who had rode with me that day. Great guys!! Love my Ford F150!!!!
The price was right and service was fast. Good job Capital Ford.
Great customer service and my vehicle service was performed when promised.
Love them. Everyone was so nice. My salesman Bill Steed. He was so great..
Tim Mallard took note of all my request and delivered the perfect vehicle for our company.
Worst place to do business! I had been several times to get a car. This last time I went really took the cake. I never had anyone respond to my calls even after calling and someone telling me they would have someone call me. I was even working with 2 people so you would think that one of them would ve communicated with me. This is not how I know capital ford to be but believe me they will not be getting anymore business from myself or my family. I really feel like I was being played but I guess if I don t have a big bank account then I m put on the back burners and not really important. If I could put -1000 stars then believe me, I would.
I was very satisfied with my service experience at Capital Ford on my last visit. Mr. Moyer was very pleasant, and professional.
Had they offered or supplied me a loaner vehicle earlier, I would have rated them with five (5) STARS. As, it stands they get 4 1/2 Stars. I take responsibility for the other 1/2 Star. However, I would use Capital Ford to service my vehicle in the future.
I love my Truck! I'm really pleased with the Eco-boost.However it has taken some getting use to the fan blowing so high in extremely hot weather. The service department has been very attentive to all my concerns. Thanks Capital Ford!!
Their service is phenomenal but should you arrive with something other than what the appointment is for you ll have to make another appointment and that s disheartening
Ted Cecil is so easy to work with...he is patient even when I kept changing my mind on what color I wanted and even what vehicle I wanted...I will continue to do my business there and have recommended others do the same
Buying the car was a decent experience but as soon as they got my money it was horrible had to wait 3 weeks for a spair tire that was supposed to be on the truck when I bought it. I finally got it and they just took it off another truck they were stelling. And it's been 3 months waiting for a part for a rrecall. They never told me that the windows leaked water when it rained when I was buying it.
Just paid 293 for a module reset on my F250 vehicle won't start ask them for a jump start and try to jump it with a jumper didn't start person left to try getting something else to jump started and comes back saying we don't have anything else the only thing we can do is sell you new batteries when my batteries are only like 6 months old.
Capital Ford goes over and beyond for their customers. Ron Clifton has the best customer service I've ever seen. I will definitely be back for my next car!
This was the third time doing business with Capital Ford, and it was another excellent experience!
They quicklyschedule an appt for me when I call. They give me a loaner car and keep in close contact with me. There estimates are always close to the final cost and sometimes it is cheaper. They always do a fantastic job!
Friendly non pressure sale people, great deals on new cars.
They sent the email to my wife's #.I had an appointment at 8am it took a hour and a half to replace my passenger air bag ,that I had to wait 4 or 5 months to have done.It seems every time I go there they try to get more done to my truck (more money ).So I check the internet before going for information and time to do.
I always have a great experience. Great customer service and great people.
Everyone here is friendly and helpful. I worked with Cathy, A.J. and the finance manager John. They exceeded my expectations and made the experience very pleasant. A.J. you are the man. Thanks guys!!!!!!!!
THE BEST DEALS ARE AT CAPITAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Capital Ford of Raleigh is the only place my husband and I would consider buying any type of vehicle. This dealership s customer service is far above any competitor when purchasing a car or truck or when having any type of service performed. Kudos to the entire Capital Ford team and especially to James Anderson.
Great sales experience everything was easy no problems.
After you buy the car nobody cars. No one picks up the phone and no one does anything to help you. Plus the faulty cars. Beware.
Great customer service & a great selection of vehicles.
I have had the most fantastic experience at Capital Ford in Raleigh, NC. during the purchasing process of my new Ford Focus. The service and hospitality was superb! My salesman Larry Harris has done an excellent job. I will never leave Ford, you have a customer for life! Thank you for everything. Best regards.
Great place to buy a vehicle. No pressure, fair and courtesy. Ask for Larry and tell him I sent you.
If you need a car ask for Bill Steed he took good care of me and I got a great deal.
I am very disappointed, purchased my son s first car. the car had recently just come in hadnt been checked or cleaned. salesperson told us to take car home we can bring it back to get serviced. we went back same week and now they wont fix whats wrong with it. Terrible how they wont stand by their word.
Great experience overall working with Mr. Terry Sharpe and Mr. Vic Ademola.
they need to do better and listen to their customers that's something they definitely don't DO
You can never get anyone to answer the phone, when you do they are very short and unfriendly. I will never use that parts dept again.
That's my 3rd car at capital Ford. It was a long and hard battle about the price I wanted, but overall they satisfied me. Ask for YOMI, he is the best salesman in the used section. He will cut you a deal.
We purchased a Ford Edge from capital ford and it was awesome working with them. Mark Duffy was our sales person and he did a wonderful job. Highly recommend mark and capital ford.
Edit to original review: Spoke with Shauna at Capital Ford. She was very professional in her apology; as well as ownership of the situation. I'm very thankful to have spoken with her, and based on that interaction, I'd be willing to give Capital Ford a second chance. Thank you, Shauna, for your great customer service.
Original Review: Service department is a nightmare. I brought my car in for a recall and an oil change package (The Works Platinum). After they sent me back and forth between two service locations (while I'm treated like an idiot for somehow not knowing that they changed locations for where certain services are done. Thanks Stewart!), I was never called to tell me when the vehicle was done. After 4 calls (over the course of 3 hours) to the service department, where I left messages for my service advisor, I finally just showed up the next morning...assuming that my car had to be done. Every time I called, he was "on the other line", "away from his desk". I just needed to know if my car was ready...and apparently he was the only one who could tell me (Thanks Will!). Here's the best part...they didn't do the correct service! When I was checking out, the price was wrong...it was cheaper. So I asked what they did...and sure enough, they did the basic works package instead of the platinum package (after I made sure with the service advisor, because he originally asked if I was getting the basic Works package). I got an "apology"; if you could call it that. They didn't offer to make it right by doing the things that they said they would do (that I asked for and was willing to PAY FOR).
This was the first time I've ever been there. I could tell, by the many unhappy faces in the waiting area, that I wasn't the only one treated very poorly. I won't be going back to this dealership. When I'm driving on that side of the road, I'll choose the further lane...that's how much I hate this place. Thanks for nothing. I can't wait until Ford calls me for a survey. Do yourself a favor...scroll past the positive reviews about buying a car. Look at the reviews for the service department and READ them. This was not a one-off scenario. This is the norm for Capital Ford.
Worked through the internet agent and had a great experience. All negotiating was done in the convenience of my home and it was simply a case of signing paperwork and picking up my truck
Sales Rep was Super...but when the manager came out everything went SOUR FAST!!!
I took my truck in to get serviced and left with a new one. The entire process was painless which is not how I have experienced vehicle purchases in the past. They were also able to get my bed cover installed quickly on the new truck and sent me on my way.
Worst place to bring your car ever. Staff must be incompetent or something because they drops cars off lifts like the sky drops rain.
Cj was great! Was very nice and easy to talk too, made getting a car so easy!
I needed to trade in my car for a Pickup truck. I worked with and highly recommend Alonzo Pamplin. Alonzo was so easy to work with, he understood my needs and made them first and foremost in the process. The finance dept. was great as well, piece of cake. This was my fourth vehicle purchase at Capital Ford, Raleigh, NC, it won't be my last. Call them, ask for Alonzo...
I went there last year with my mom and dad to look for a brand new suv for my mom. She said this " I don't like the bucket seats at all.
Great presentation by CJ Jones. CJ was very polite and knowledgeable about the car reviewed.
Scheduled a 730am appointment driving in from Garner. In the past, I've been very satisfied with Capital Ford's service. Today not so much at all! The service advisor wasn't interested in even attempting to resolve my issue. The reason for the appointment is because my car rattles on occasion. I described what it sounded like to me. He kept saying he needed more information. No interest in having a mechanic to drive or check anything. Only interest in telling me what my maintenance plan covers and the $100 deductible for an alignment or for a diagnostic procedure. To say the least, I was very disappointed. Not good customer service.
My experience was excellent! Mike helped me throughout the whole process, even when I wasn't sure. He and the whole team were very helpful with information. The people were friendly and the dealership worked with me every step of the way. I am grateful for everyone there that assisted me in my car buying experience.
I bought my cars at Capital Ford, not because of the best deal, but because of the Service Department and its staff. To me the vehicle and dealership are only as good as its service department and how they perform on recommended maintenance as well as on any irregular vehicle problems. They are not 100% perfect, but they try hard to be.
George Kapetanakis
Salesman Scott Baum did a excellent job in taking care of us. Truck was a good purchase for us.
I needed a car and my co worker told me about Capital Ford and for me to work with Michael. I contacted him that day and I got good vibes from him right away. He asked me what I was looking for and if I was looking for anything specifically. I told him my needs and he kept me up to date about the status. He is wonderful to work with! With Mike Medlin he made it easy to buy a car and he works fast so I wasn t stuck at the dealership for hours and hours on end. I definitely will recommend him to anyone.
The attention was not according to what I expected. Francisco attended me
Ask for Cortney Elliott. She is a very polite and upbeat young woman with a lot of knowledge on the product.
We worked with an unbelievably rude and unprofessional sales representative. We were looking to sell our vehicle and had gotten a Kelley Blue Book Instant Cash offer. We explained to the sales representative that another dealership was giving us a little bit more and asked if they could beat that offer (even if it was by $100, and we're talking about a 15,000-dollar vehicle). I understand them not being willing to do so, but the attitude of the said sales representative was unacceptable. He was rude, arrogant, and unprofessional, and insolently got up and walked away from us, demonstrating it was time for us to take our business elsewhere. We sure did. We visited one more dealership before making our decision. There, although they could not beat the price, they shook our hands and thanked us for coming in. Now that's the type of service a business should strive for.
Maybe this sales representative was an outlier, but that was our first impression of Capital Ford, and we will not be returning.
