Nice location and we had a seaview from the ballroom. The service provided by the staff was good. The place is clean and neat.

This is a lovely hotel, very historic and elegant. There are all sorts of beautiful decorations here. It is also a good place for a meeting, and it isn't too far away from the main road into Sentosa. One thing, since it is a historic hotel they don't have a ton of elevators, so you may need to do more stairs than you're used to.

The services provided by the staff is lovely. Even the part time staff that was hired for the event was nice, and welcoming.

the curtains and lights are opened ,on ,off and closed using a iPad and the swimming pool has a aeosome stress relaxing view and you can also find peacocks there!

Grand ballroom was splendid. Though secluded, its location is part of its charm

WOW this place is beautiful! View is incredible, you got sea view and green view! you can hold wedding here, will be very serene and romantic, can put the platform on the water in the swimming pool! there are two swimming pool which make u feel so close with nature! the interior is very simple, wait til u take a bath, a great view wait for u!

The place goes into the realm of dreams. In love with this place and family friendly too. Spend some weekends staying over with the family, my kids totally enjoys this place and the staff are friendly. Great!

Placing a neutral comment here about their breakfast buffet that I had today on 19 Mar 2020.

At the bread section, picked up a jar of peanut butter and a jar of kaya. Noticed on the underside it states: "Use By : 18-03-20". Found all jars to be that.

Highlighted to a lady staff, who subsequently removed the labels under all jars and explained to me that "the chef says its the date of packaging".

Just placing this here in case anyone suffers from food poisoning during this period. Also a shout out to people to know the difference between "Mfg On", "Best Before", and "Use By".

one of the best place to have a staycation. peaceful and serene, lush and luxurious. Great breakfast selection available and wonderful service by the staff.

High tea at the Cassia and a walkabout the Capella estate. A fine Cantonese dim sum and lovely service. Great for a weekend getaway.

Had lunch at the Knolls. Beautiful area with great quality food. However, it was a little pricey. Overall a great experience.

Attended a wedding dinner. Canapes served during the cocktail were varied and plentiful. Dining hall is spacious and immaculately designed, but could be a little more well lit at the sides of the hall. Food was of a high standard. Well worth the trip down to Sentosa.

An absolutely stunning hotel on a beautiful island in a fantastic country. Expensive as hell? Yes. Worth it? I think it is.
The villas are self contained units with pools, we'll equipped and clean. Pleasant staff ready to ferry you around on electric buggies is always a big plus.

Come for the amazing ocean and nature views, stay for the lovely staff, but go out for food.

We wanted to see a horizon again for a staycation and weren t disappointed: The sea view, but also the foliage and nature around (parrots, hornbills, eagles etc) instantly gave us a feeling of being away. The architecture is wide open yet cozy, the rooms orient towards the view and have all amenities including free sustainable water bottles, the lap pool feels intimate, and the public beach access is great.

The staff deserves particular recognition for not only being professional but also happy, funny and chatty, including to the pool and room staff, gardeners, engineers or waiters, which really gave a feeling of warm hospitality.

The reason I give 4 stars is that for a hotel in the absolute top luxury category we would have expected two things: First, more varied and interesting food and beverage options, with only 1 restaurant and the bar only opening later, one can t get a good coffee and sweets or just fruit for instance. The room service is not up to standard with long wait times and especially local food seems made for a different market (e.g. Laksa with no spice).

Second, while the lap pool and public beach are great, the main pool is combined with the kids pool, which tends to be taken over as adventure pool with jumping, yelling, music and swimming platforms. Birthday parties with balloons take over the only small restaurant. The architecture of the hotel is designed for tranquility and nature, therefore it doesn t have a place to escape - given the first point with no bar and the restaurant at the pool, the only chance is to go out and either eat out, or bring back something to eat in the room while the public spaces are closed or taken over by kids parties. If you look for a luxury experience for adventure kids that s great, but it s not a hotel for kids or adults who prefer peace sadly.

In-room dining had space for improvement. Perhaps I ordered the wrong items (hokkien mee + jap breakfast)

For a hotel that hosted Trump and Kim and charges the highest BFR in Singapore, I had a certain level of expectations. Capella failed to meet them. The level of service from some department is so bad that some 3* hotels can do better. Utterly embarrassing.

We celebrated a friend's birthday and the hotel's very accommodating to our request for balloons decoration to the villa. They were also attentive when I told them I needed gluten free and dairy free meals.

Firstly, the service here is excellent. The hotel is located on a hill, and is not really elderly friendly, as you have to climb down many flights of stairs to get to the beach. The rooms are nice, clean and comfortable. The hotel's staff were very nice and friendly. It is a good place to stay in Sentosa. There are 3 swimming pools and they are all well maintained.

Beautiful property, efficient and knowledgeable staff, flexibility and accommodation to solve minor issues.
All immaculately presented with immaculate grounds and property. And what really went the extra mile was the super friendly approach to our 4 yr old child. I cannot recall such a great combination - a worthy contestant for best Singapore hotel!

Overrated, not kid friendly. Service standards are very high or very low. Hit / miss. More for celebrity who need quite and secluded no activity time.

I was also surprised that all the juice and water in the refrigerator were all-you-can-drink. This is the hotel that I would like to stay again when I go to Singapore.

Attentive staff , peaceful atmosphere and the room had a great view. Only complaint , there was not a lot of variety for the hot section of the breakfast buffet. We enjoyed our stay at Capella and would also recommend the restaurant Cassia.

The room is spacious and the sea view is fabulous. I love how they take into consideration of details like preparing the setting for the night.

The food is pretty pricey for the average wedding dinner set. The ambience of the ballroom is awesome though, you get a relatively high ceiling ballroom, and the ballroom can fit up to 50 or more tables inside. It's good that they provide free entrance into Sentosa as well as complimentary valet parking for the wedding although I'm not sure if it applies across the board for all weddings held there. The cost of holding a wedding here is very expensive so unless you feel like splashing some cash or you are on the richer side, maybe an alternative venue will be easier on your bank balances haha. Also if your guest list is like all rich people then it won't be an issue to break even on weddings held here. It's good to experience a wedding held there but if you ask me would I attend more weddings here, I would say no as it hurts my wallet considering that you give enough for the couple to break even. 4 stars is purely for the ambience and splendour of the ballroom but 2 stars for the average wedding dinner meal.

Beautiful hard product across the board, great amenities and facilities. Amazing spa. However, had a very poor arrival experience with staff making promises to call about a second room we had booked requiring multiple reminders and we didn't get the call we had requested. Ultimately, I wouldn't recommend this hotel, as a cheaper alternative such as the W or St Regis gives better service, though maybe without the absolute design pizzazz.

The entire building is healed by the scent of passion fruit.
Butler is attached to the room, but it depends on the grade of the room.
The welcome drink and the fruit are changed every day, so I'm happy when I come back with sweat from the outside.

My Favorite resort in Sentosa. Pools are beautiful with good view. Room are cozy and bed are very comfortable. Breakfast served with buffet style and food quality is beyond average. Stuff are warm and friendly.

Bloody nice hotel. Styaed here with my wife and young daughter and had a great time.

Room was spacious and had a private plunge pool. Very clean and we'll maintained. Very short walk to the main building and the restaurant.

Staff were extremely friendly and attentive throughout our stay. House keeping staff even gave my daughter a small gift and it was greatly appreciated.

Proximity to the main centre on Sentosa is a short stroll along the beach front if you feel the need to visit.

Dined in the restaurant by the pool each morning for breakfast and was very happy with the spread each day. Even had the head chef bring a few "special" cheeses out one day.

What can in say, it's the small details that separate the good from the amazing, and Capella nail it. Definitely going back.

Best place to go with my kids for a week during their holidays. The grounds are safe to roam and beautiful. Staff is excellent and I have no complaints. Highly recommended for a weekend jaunt nearby without flying away.

That must be Carl Johnson's house. But, the street name isn't Grove Street, but The Knolls alley.

This was the most disappointing hotel stay I ever experienced in Singapore. It was totally unexpected from a luxury hotel which is one of the most expensive (if not the most expensive) hotel in Singapore. Service was incredibly poor.

Booked the hotel for my partner's birthday as we wanted to celebrate somewhere special amidst COVID. Instead of feeling relaxed, I felt anxious and upset throughout my stay. Having to make so many calls for various services or requests repeatedly as things just didn't come the first time round (other Google reviews seem to indicate the same thing).

Firstly, we booked a Premier Seaview Room. To my surprise (please look at the photos), the room was 3/4 greenery view with 1/4 of the sea which could only been seen at a certain angle. Please do not market your room as a Premier Seaview room and charge us a premium if it is not actually a room that has a seaview. This is disingenuous. Secondly, house keeping was poor - there's blood stains on the pillows (please refer to photos) and the tissue box was empty after only taking two tissues. There was also a used tissue on the toilet floor when we just entered the room. Thirdly, we were told that we would get a complimentary birthday cake to help celebrate before checking in (via call with the culturist). There was no cake and I had to call twice before the cake arrived at night at 10pm, which was almost the end of the day.

Lastly, the worse thing about the entire hotel is that the hotel staff really doesn't seem to care at all. No one briefed us about any of the activities in the hotel - we had to find out everything ourselves. There's complimentary afternoon tea from 3-5pm at the Living Room. No one mentioned this and when we found out and made our way there at 3pm, it was full (fine, not a problem) but I was just told, "head down and wait, we will call you". My partner and I waited at the seating area for 15 minutes. I went up again and another staff then said, "oh you actually have to leave your name with the bell staff". No one informed us about this. When we left our names, it was already getting late from all the waiting and we were no.9 on the list and told, "we will call you when there's room". No one did till 4.40pm and I had to call the staff who then informed me that it was okay to head over now. The place was literally empty by this time but no one actually informed us to tell us that we could go over and I had to call and find this out.

The one star is for the exceptional service staff at the Knolls, Cassia (food was awesome), and the terrific pool staff. They were the saving grace of this staycation.

Aside from that, I would highly suggest people reconsider if they would like to pay 6 star hotel pricing for 3 star hotel service. If you are looking for a relaxing stay amidst COVID, then Capella is clearly not the place to be. Their service leaves so much to be desired.

An idyllic setting with a warm welcome. The staff take great care. A big thank you to the whole team, we were spoiled and we had a wonderful time.

Just wandering with my families to see the memorable site,where the antagonizing two realm leaders met and shake hands for their own or common purpose.

Arrived at there at the sunset timing but fortunate to get the last set of sun lighting over the horizon of the Singapore sea.

Took pictures of children and with my wife against the historical place at the Capella hotel and talked with my families to have a chance to stay here and have a dinner together in the near future with better offerings.

With such a price tag, you expect nothing less than perfect food, service and facilities. On that note, capella doesn't disappoint. Nestled on the sunny island of sentosa, it is truly a gem. The staff are professional, friendly and prompt in their service. Despite the 2300h check in, their welcome service was every bit up to spec. Rooms are clean and spacious, beds are sleep inducing. No amount of coffee will keep you awake. Had a taste of their in room dining and was pleasantly surprised, feels as though I was at the retaurant itself. The gym, library and pool are great places to hang out breakfast spread has an ala carte mains with a choice of other consumable accessories. In summary, great place to stay if you have the money to spare.

Had lunch at Cassia inside Capella Hotel, it is one of the best Cantonese fine dining in Singapore. Restaurant Manager Bryan provided excellent service, and was able to answer our questions on the dishes and beverages. When we could not finish our food, Bryan offered to help us take away. The soup was flavourful, with fresh premium ingredients. Excellent food and top notch service makes this restaurant an excellent choice for business lunches.
