Very show-offy. Lots of "luxury" in the interior. Bistro is noisy. Food and service average, prices rather high.

Cafe and Restaurant is pretty awesome you can work in there as well!

Bakehouse Cafe, appears busy but there are just too many staff just meandering... Water bottle had mould in it. But thankfully they did act quick on it.

The club is great but service at the Bakehouse Cafe was very slow.

Very bad club for gaming.nothing special for members even if you are blue diamond members.

The food is great. The staff are nice and various restaurants to choose from. Way better than other country club near the area.

A great club very generous in catering for all ages. The eating places are great but the gym is a speciality it caters for all fitness groups so much more.

Such a beautiful club but unfortunately the food is sub par at best ,Especially the bistro. As a proud 20 year member I have seen a lot of changes to the club. Recent renovations look sensational but after dining there last night at the bistro once again I was left very disappointed, but this was not the first time either. I ordered the 250g rump steak. I asked for medium & it was more like well done & not to mention it was more like 150g. My wife had the Chicken Mango salad but this was one of the worst I have ever seen, looked like the chef opened one of those pre-packed woolworths salads you buy for $3 & added a bit of left over grilled chicken from the night before & throwing it on the plate with no thought to presentation at all!.. I understand the renovations cost a fortune but scumming out on quality & charging a premium is not the way to recoup the money.. $16 for a salad that is worth no more than $4 is disgusting!, Not to mention expensive. Unfortunately I have seen a decline in service as well as the food..'Very disappointing for such a proud Club!..

Bistro! Saturday night. 70mins wait for dinner to be served. Could improve on wait times! Atmosphere and service was great. Would try again!

Prices of food and drinks to expensive for a club of its sixe

Beautiful renovated place. Great places to just sit and enjoy. At the bar or Cafe. Each with different atmosphere. Also has a gym that requires membership. But good equipment and facilities with a steam room. Parking if fairly easy

Spent new years eve Las Vegas night show there in function room and it was a disgraceful evening. The food was disgusting the service appalling. Tickets cost $125.00 per person, no coffee or tea served and no water or beverages offerred all evening. I had an elderly couple sitting next to me that were allergic to dairy and no compassion shown to this couple whatsoever, they received their meal at almost 11pm after several complaints from me. What a complete waist of money.

Great place that has everything, gym, eateries, coffee shop, ballroom and game station. Thanks to Petter (a best friend of my bf) who were introduced this place to us. Anyone who visited Canterbury League Club have to come over to The BakeHouse for coffee.

Best club. All pokies/machines upstairs. Family friendly club & great ambience.

VERY disgusted.

Lisa, the surpervisor of the Gambling section is a VERY condescending person, she treated me like a CHILD, and singled me out by embarrassing me infront of people!

I m very appalled how workers have the decency to talk about you infront of you.

A heads up to the OWNER that you should tell your WORKERS at the front desk that they should actually ASK for ID. I m not in charge of asking them if they WANT IT.

I was very impressed with the quality and quantity of entertainment at Canterbury League Club - there looked to be half a dozen restaurants catering to different groups (couples, families etc) as well as a large range of function centres and entertainment lounges.

Currently undergoing some expansion and renovations, and so parking has been reduced slightly.

Loved the food at the bistro, efficient an welcoming staff!! Due to the covid19 ,I felt very reassured and safe due to the impeccable Covid plan the club has is place

Adam, Michael and the kitchen staff from the Italian restaurant are extremely proffesional and the food was amazing !

Terrible food at backhouse stale bread cold hamburgers. No taste in meals geasy fried chicken i ate few times it was disgusting last time i vomited.

Beautiful garden and impressive waterfalls in front and in the foyer. The internal space is a bit small. Nice restaurant with nice view looking out the garden. Quick service and friendly staff.

Food is just ok for the price. Pub food at best. Drinks were great and wines are served in cute little bottles. Ambience and staff were pleasant although they did force me to remove my hat. Parking is free.

If your in the Canterbury area and looking for nice place to eat. You couldn t go past the leagues club. It has a good choice of food at affordable prices. Restaurants Chinese and Italian and a Bistro. It has a lovely coffee shop with great selection of cafe type foods and coffee and tea.
The decor is very nice and the staff are very friendly and accommodating well worth the visit.

Had dinner there with my dad last night, food in Bistro was horrible Roast of the day Pork was not edible that my dad had, I had warm chicken salad basically lettuce and a piece of chicken thrown on top and 2 cherry tomatoes halved. It is a beautiful environment and a shame the food is so bad. Not many people eating there last night at all, obviously have had bad experience like myself. Would be nice to see Board Members arriving unannounced to eat there, maybe then something can be done there , I certainly wouldn't reccomend eat there.

Not only Bulldog fans would like like this place. Really nice to chill and relax. Food is over priced for a club.

A club with such standards other clubs should be based upon.

It was not too bad. Although, one of the staff clearly avoided me when I went to ask for something from the bar. So you have to be a bit forceful to get service which is not the most unpleasant experience. Otherwise the food at the bistro was quite nice but not particularly cheap.

If you haven't been to the club, you dont know what youre missing out on. Its a one stop shop for a great evening out. It's not just about the pokies. Love bringing mum dad and the kids here for an evening out. Plenty of choices for food.

I love this club. Friendly and courteous customer service from the staff. The food great and you get a generous amount. The coffee is good and the soy chai latte is the best I've had.

Average food. Nothing in it except for poker machines

Came here with my work colleagues and was quite happy with the service and food/drinks. Reasonably priced and the staff are attentive. The food is also nice and the place is well presented.

The food is ok today we had the Caesar salad that came to me for $16 and was very very small I took it back and they gave me another one(proper size) but the bigger problem when I parked my car and went inside a lady called YEN show my card ask me to take out my hat that I did it and when she saw another lady with bigger hat she left her come in and when I complain to her she laugh and told me that she is going to the gym that was a BIG lie but I didn t want to create problem, YEN don t make descry do the same for all do your job properly.

This club is an absolute joke. A club without a bar. A club that encourages gambling. You are required to sit at a pokie machine to order a drink. The food is absolutely terrible and overpriced. Avoid this place at all cost. Worst experience ever

Canterbury Leagues Club I would say is the nicest Club I've ever been to, absolutely the best ambiance I've seen anywhere.
I've been here a few times now and I have found all the team members here very friendly. Great range of beers and I love the Bistro and the Cafe with the best range of cakes I've seen anywhere. A special thanks to Michael a Cafe manager who came to the table to see if we enjoyed our meal.

I can't believe $5.00 for a can of Diet coke. And the Banyan Bistro is another expensive place to eat.. truly highway robbery.. i thought Bistro is supposed to be reasonable price with great good.. Drinks should not be that expensive i might have gotten alcohol instead.. come on Canterbury leagues make it less expensive..especially non alcoholic drinks

Terrible customer service at the new bistro called smokehouse. Took my grandpa for dinner at the new smokehouse bistro at Canterbury leagues club on Friday night and had a terrible experience with some staff there. The worst one was a bartender name George serving drinks. Typical Greek attitude problem rolling his eyes while we asked him 2 questions. 1st question already got him agitated and our 2nd question already made him rolling his eyes. We are customers and we have every right to ask any drinks related questions. Quit your job if you can't answer any simple questions.
Second worst customer service was a staff name Adriana taking food orders at the smokehouse. She was slow but very impatient when we asked her some questions related to the food menu. Shows to me that she doesn't want to be there behind the tilt. Just not good enough! We paid top dollar for our food so we deserves a better customer service than this attitude problem from these kind of wannabe hero staffs.
The club environment was alright but some staff at the smokehouse really need to get their act together!

After renovations this place looks much better. Nice Cafe, sports bar, restaurant and the lounge is good for meetings.

Pizza was good but lacking on the pasta and great entree

The club is very modern with a great menu range at the bistro including daily specials with some scrumptious desserts. There is also a chinese and italian restaurant if you choose. Another cafe and sports bar not to mention the gaming room. Great value at only $5 to become a member. Well worth it.

Such a fun place. Like going to Vegas without the airfare and 15hours in a plane. Nothing is outstanding but you can spend an extremely pleasant day being fully entertained.

Love the place, very professional I mean security, workers and all. Better than star city. Absolutely love love love. Please do go there.
