they always try to charge you for different reason...
they always try to charge you for different reasons, once a resident had been charged for 20000 dollars because the pipe under his room is broken. The managers of campus circle are stupid.

This apartment is so nice and comfortable to live and just enjoy it !
Variety of room layouts offer students multiple options. The staff in the front office are helpful and works to make sure residents are happy. Also an ideal location on campus with multiple bus stops near by make getting to class easy. Overall a great deal!
Campus Circle is one of the greatest residential places in Champaign-Urbana, it's a great choice specially for engineering students. The staff are cool and fast responsive. The maintenance teams are always around and on call. The building is super nice and still smell new. It's a great place to live in.
It's a nice new apartment with gym and entertainment room inside the building.I live in a 4 bedroom apartment and the furniture are quite nice too. I may not live here next year because all the rooms are booked out already.
They nickel and dime you for everything which is extremely ridiculous. Molly is nice at the time you signed lease, they will also let you leave positive feedback on every social network. But when you start moving in, things will change. They will frequently come in you apartment doing inspection, find something broken, repair it, and bill you (which other property management only does when you move out). It makes sense because they want to charge you more times. They repair and bill me the blinds on 01/31, which is also the day I paid my Feb rent. On 02/01, they sent me the blinds repair bill and then on 02/02, they said my payment is error because it didn t include the blinds charges. How I can possibly includ blinds repairing fee before they send me the bill? Also, when I sent another check on 02/05 including the blinds fee, it counts as late. They told me on 02/06 and also 02/06 will be counted as another late day with extra cost. DO NOT LIVE HERE.
I love this apartment complex, the staff is amazing, the amenities are fantastic. They are always hosting great events. This apartment is such a steal for the rates. I would recommend to anyone especially engineering majors it s a very short walk to most of my classes.
My friend and I have been trying to get in contact with the office over leasing concerns for months and we can't even get passed an automated machine or a secretary. Awful service.
Great place to live! Management knows me by name and is super friendly!
I had a pretty positive experience here. The maintenance always comes in time and custom service is very supportive.
unreasonable charge in my room! Don't let them know you won't stay here next year, they will charge you as much as they can.
very nice live experience. I actually make a lot of friends. Very patient service!
though the internet condition is not always good, the stuff is pretty friendly and they helped me to prepare for my career fair, including to tie the tie for me :).
People here are all very very nice with decent service. Molly responds to queries very quickly and professionally.
Campus Circle is a great apartment with great amenities and staff, the staff are always willing to help with any problems!
Great place. Wonderful Staff. Expensive for Urbana. Weird Office Hours
I moved to UC area in 2007 and lived many apartment including Capstone, Villiage(JSM), 1010 W Main(Adv Prop). Overall Campus Circle is the best place to live. The office members are super nice, remembering your names among hundreds ppl live in the complex. Great amenities and maintanances, too. Considering their services, I dont think the rent is expensive at all. The units are clean since they are brand new, no wonder the units are all leased for the next year.
Can I give 0 star? Don't expect to receive your $1,700 deposit in half a year after you moving out!
Our entire experience was absolutely amazing. There was a bit of a wait since it was really busy, but Molly was awesome with helping us get everything sorted. We were really worried about getting a room, but we ended up with the room we wanted. The rest of the staff were super friendly and kind as well. I can't wait to move in next year! 10/10 experience overall.
Overall my experience here is great. The room is big and respond to maintenance is fast. I really like the entertainment room, yoga room and gym here. But unfortunately they are closed because of the virus.
I LOVE MOLLY!! If you have any problems or questions, go to her!! And my dog loves it here tooooo!
Molly here is very helpful and kind. She guided me through all the steps and contracts and answered all of my questions on Skype, which is great. We also had a great chat about lots of things. I'm looking forward to moving in this August.
I am not sure how to start. Or I am not still sure if they are trying to get out of the way or not. I have not problem about the facilities while I lived there at all. Loved it and even referred 3 my friends. I lived there for 3 months and moved out due to personal reason. I signed the apartment in February and were rewarded $500 gift card, and I have not STILL received it. That was a promotion gift and I was told that I will be given when I moved in which was June, 2016. When I moved in, I also was told that it will be given at least by August since August is the "Official" move in date. I did not understand "The official" term, because the company apparently promoted the apartment as "Early move-in available." But okay, I understood because they are new and headquarters are far way. Meanwhile, I referred 3 my friends, and was reward $250 each. So in total, I am supposed to received $1250 gift card. I was given many dates that they will hand me the cards until I moved out. Been almost 4weeks since I have moved out, so I left a memo for general manager that I would like to get updates with the gift cards. Same response and no returning calls as promised. I am so disappointed in the company because if the tenants were late for rent, they would charge bunch of extra late fee, but they would like for tenants to be patients and understood. I have been patient way long enough to speak up about this issue. IF you do promotion, please keep the promise with your customers. Your time that you spent on marketing could destroy in just one negative&truthful review. I can say this because I was being patient with you and I only have legal rights to pursue at this point. With all respects, I was being understood when you were constructing the building 6am and 8am without any announcement (Yes, I have video footages), and all delayed work because this is new building. I still cannot believe that I am still dealing with this up to this point. If you see this, please return my calls or keep me updated. PLEASE reward your customers who are waiting as YOU PROMISED.
1. The staff is very professional and very helpful. They go out of their way to help you (understanding my schedules in terms of getting any of the office work)
2. Touchwood, I have not had any maintenance issue so far.
3. One of the gym equipment was not working today and the next day it was back in action. Also, the air hockey. Very quick to respond to all minor issue such as these.
4. Loving my time here also given it is super close to both the hospitals I work at and proximity to downtown.
The maintenance service is really fast. The front desk is very nice too!
Where you can expect to have great staff, service and people
This is a great apartment. My son stays over there and likes it a lot. Molly is a great staff at leasing office. she is very helpful and friendly. although I never see her, She is very helpful when I talk to her over the phone every time. Thank you so much!
On the day I moved in I locked myself out of the lobby, and the movers were there waiting while I was paying them. So I went to the leasing office begging you to open the lobby door for me and the lobby door was 2 feet away from the leasing office. However the staff Molly ordered me to wait in line waiting for her finishing helping two other residents signing the lease. In this process Molly was having very rude attitude and talking to me like police talking to prisoner If you have to insist on first come first serve, though not proper at that time since I was kind of in an emergency, at least talk to me politely, treating me like a guest . By the time it's finally my turn, it was already like 1 hour BTW, you do everything slowly and the time I paid the movers had run out and I had to carry all the big heavy furnitures inside all by myself.
I really don't understand why Molly could not spent 10 seconds open the lobby door that was 2 feet away from her. Also I saw some other staff had nothing to do at the office I saw them sitting there like having a rest) and Molly refused me to let them help me though I have begged her again and again in the process.
Also what puzzles me is that the Campus Circle staff would like to spend huge amount of time on arguing on Google review But would not like to improve the attitude in reality.
I like my apartment, the amenities are good, although the price is a little bit expensive.
Campus Circle has been a wonderful student living experience! I was matched with random roommates who have become great friends, the staff and maintenance team are attentive and professional, and the building overall is beautiful! I would recommend the property to any student!
Staffs are nice and rooms are clean and big. Me and my roommates all had a good time living there. It definitely worth the price!
I have been living here for my 2nd year in a row because the facilities are great, the staff here is super sweet and the maintenance has been smooth. Overall it is great living experience!
Renew = pay higher rent than new residents
Inspection = charge you hundreds for a thread on the sofa / too much dust coming out of your desktop
Maintenance = kind guys that would fix your door for free
General = 2 stars
Am I gonna be charged $500 or dismissed for leaving this comment? Seriously thinking about that.
What makes a good apartment is not the amenities or the luxury new furniture but the quality of the staff and management. But honestly Campus circle got it all so thumbs up if you wanna live in a stress free environment.
Good stuff, great place for CS student. Just checked in and find a place to leave
good apartment with convenient location, recommended.
I lived in here for like 2 years, this place is super close to the engineering college. The environment is pretty good. Definitely recommend this
the facility is really good and the office's service is really nice. i would choose to live here if possible.
Overall great experience! Love the individual bathroom and in-unit washer and dryer! Awesome package service
Convenient location near campus. Room is supplied with all basic elements and various great amenities are available!
Terrible place to live! Poor management! Doing inspection regularly just to charge you extra.Again, don't live here!!!!!
Great amenities, nice location, great apartment. Bad review falls solely on the office staff. The answer to most of my questions are "I don't know" and they never get back to me with answers. I know a lot of the staff are part time employees, and students, but the lack of information and follow through is kinda absurd.
i choose to live in CC since some of my friends recommend. however, the goodness of CC is still beyond my imagination. the room is big, facility is complete and really convenient to live. there are lots of public facility (study room, gym and so on), which would help a lot during this virus time. also, the repairing service is really fast and the problem can be fixed in 24 hrs. i would live in CC during next academic year if i am staying here
I have been living in CC for about a year. Personally, I give 4.5 stars to the hardware amenities and 2 stars to the management mechanism. Most of the staff members are nice but they really need to improve their system.
The good ones: (1) The hardware facilities here are good in general. (2) The office staff members are nice and helpful. (3) The garage building is beneficial for residents who own vehicles. (4) And it is also quite convenient to live here since it has just a short distance from the College of Engineering.
The bad ones:
(1) One point taken off for the bug infestation issue in the my first month living here. The window screen in my apartment cannot fit the frame very well and bugs keep coming inside. It bothered me a lot to deal with the bugs in those summer days. And I have heard about residents complaining about the same problem at that time.
(2) Another point deducted for my very terrible unit transferring experience. The process should have been easy: obtain my new keys, move into the new unit, and return the old ones.
On the scheduled date, I was informed that they will do a final cleaning process to my new apartment, so I won t be receiving the new keys until someone contact me later. I was eventually given the keys the next morning and the office staff allowed me to keep the old keys until Sunday.
However, the maintenance team didn t seem to be aware of this at all. Starting Friday, they kept breaking into the apartment and I got really annoyed to explain my situation multiple times. It made me mad that one of them had very bad attitude. I really doubt whether the maintenance team have ever communicated with the office or not. They gave conflicting orders to the resident, and the conflict should apparently be solved in the background between them.
it's totally terrible experience. Although I moved out from this apt quite a long time ago and I was supposed to get my deposit back, they've refused to comment about this and didn't pay back the money for ages.
Don't expect to get $2000 deposit back in a year.
One staff is being sarcastic, unhelpful, even discriminated. When you have any problem, they don t consider your situation at all. My neighbor keeps making loud noise all night long, I couldn t sleep at all. She kept saying I don t know what you say I don t know what you want me to do with even sarcastic laughs sometimes. What she wants me to do is to wait and call a police. I said if this kept happening for one week even though I tell them and call the police, can I transfer to another room by paying the 200dollars fee, she said let s go back the start, to call the police and record their voice???? When I lived in HERE Apartment, my friend had conflict with her roommate, the staff there is nice and patient. Quickly resolved the issue by transferring her roommate with no additional fee in less than 3days. Hope you not choose the terrible apartment!
unreasonable charge in my room! Don't let them know you won't stay here next year, they will charge as much as they can.
Update: Of course you can't find me as a resident. I don't want to be stuck with unreasonable move-out charges by posting on my own account.
DON"T LIVE HERE! Not just the apartment is terrible, the management sucks too. They are like robbers when they do inspections! Almost sounds like they are knocking on the door with a hammer And someone's window glass was broken by one of the inspection people!!! How is that even possible?? The internet connection sucks. And what's the point of signing individual leases for a 4 bedroom apartment when I am still responsible for the mess my roommates make in the living room!?!?!? Recycling for boxes is also super far, if you don't want to take it there, you better be rich to pay all the fees! I think it's 20 or 30 a piece? Most importantly, the management likes to stalk whoever posted reviews. I think it's best if they give people some privacy.
Management could be better. Apartments are tiny but maintenance is good.
Maintenance are good and fast. The gym is fantastic.
Great place to live. Bus-stop right in front with free rides throughout campus.
the facility is really good and the office's service is really nice. they help me fixed a lot of problem regarding living, repairing and leasing really fast. i would like to live at CC again if i am going to stay in campus for another year.
it is really a nice department. Residents are very friendly. I enjoy a great time here. Besides, molly in the office is very nice and charming.
It went really well, the staffs are really nice! Thank you Molly for helping me! It is realy nice to talk to you :)
I really the gym! it's very pretty convenient for us during the break!
It's a really nice apartment with fantastic equipments
Due to travel arrangement, we were unable to come back before July 31st which is the move out day. Since we have renewed with CC and sublease to someone else, we thought things could be different and repeatedly checked with the desk if we were also required turning in our key to the front desk before August. We talked to the officer ,officer asked Molly and we talked to Molly. The only response I received is No, you don t have to move out by July 31st, but make sure giving us 24hours for inspection prior to new residents arrival . With that said, we packed everything in the room and were ready to move them out when fall comes. Unfortunately, at the midnight of August 1st, in another country that s 10000miles away,we were told that we would have to move everything out within two hours , or they will throw everything away. After several rounds of negotiations , they told us they were sorry for telling me the wrong informations but we do need to move things out and if we need lawful assistant they would be able to help. (What the heck was even that ) Also , they offered to move things out for us at a price of 50bucks per garbage bag or item. Okay. We stayed up all night looking for friends staying in Champaign to move things for us ( and thank god there was one or we probably would lose everything. Eventually we were only charged for 300 bucks:) including 50 bucks for a toilet towel , 50 for a unmoved curtain, another 85 for not returning key in time.
Well, I m not evaluating the apartment but rather stating some experiences of mine. You all would be able to think and make decision based on this. But Trust Me, Never Come Here.
The manager is unreasonable. My worst choice in my freshmen year was to sign with this apartment. If you are looking for a place to leave instead of looking for troubles, DO NOT LIVE HERE.
