So far, nothing beats to this wine shop for their services, wine selections, and foods. This is a great place to have a romantic date with someone you love. Love the view from above. Great food and ambiance. A little bit pricey, but worth the money. I highly recommend this wine shop to everyone I know.

I saw one of the reviews said this place has a great selection of whiskeys and that was no lie! There is a great range of everything from bourbons, to Irish, to Scotch, to Japanese.
The staff are super friendly and knowledgable too - if you are not sure what to buy, ask some questions and they ll be able to help make a great suggestion for you.
Will likely pop in here every time I come to Seattle!
Though the website was a little difficult for me at first, the delivery was very timely, the driver was friendly and respectful, and I was surprised how quickly everything got taken care of. Very satisfied and will shop here often!
Can't say enough great things about this store. The team sourced four awesome kegs from a local brewery, and delivered them to our wedding reception right on-time and in great shape (and for a very fair price).
Without going into all the details, they really went above-and-beyond for us, and I'll appreciate it for a long time to come. Special call out to Matt and John for their help.
Plus the shop's selection of wine and liquor is fantastic, too! I'll be back in the near future.
I was visiting from out of town and wanted to pick up a bottle of chardonnay to have in my hotel room. Centrally located, the employees were very helpful, prices reasonable, and I was very happy with purchase.
Great business, nice folks, excellent selection. Why 2 stars? Their delivery system leaves much to be desired. I ve placed two orders through their website (they re no longer available on Drizzly) and both have been massively delayed.
They charge $10 for delivery (double their competitor) and promise to be there within an hour. The reality for me has been more like 1.75 - 2 hours. On both instances, I ve called them at the hour mark and been told that my order slipped through the cracks and they would send out the driver ASAP . This is unacceptable for a $10 delivery charge.
As much as I d love to continue ordering from them, I will be taking my business elsewhere. In the days of ubiquitous online ordering, reliability matters.
I ve used Downtown Spirits online ordering and delivery service twice now since the pandemic started and had great experiences both times. They have a large selection online and make it really easy to order and set up deliveries. Most recently, I placed an order and had to change the delivery time window because of a change in my schedule. I reached out to them via email and they called me an hour later to ask when was a better time. They re-scheduled it with no hassle and even though the driver had a hard time finding my apartment building (damn you GPS!), the service I got from the delivery driver matched the company. I have nothing but good things to say about Downtown Spirits.
Bought a couple of bottles here over the past 1+ years. Needless to say, I'm never coming back here again. When May 2018 came along, they announced the further shortage of Japanese whisky. The person that I spoke with mentioned that they had a bottle of age statement Hibiki, but was keeping it for a charity auction coming soon. I immediately signed up for their email distribution. Now, I haven't seen any news on this, but that auction never seemed to have happened. I don't like it when a liquor store keeps the rare stuff for themselves (speculation of course, but where is that purported bottle?).
On another note, they mark up their prices a lot, and after adding taxes, it's ridiculous to buy anything from this place. Seattle downtown has very limited store options unfortunately, so there seems to always be traffic here.
Great delivery service! Super friendly! Texts to alert me when driver would arrive, electronic communication made everything so easy! Safe, friendly and great customer service!
The best place to order beer, wine and liquor plus all the mixers and extras you need. Always fast, friendly delivery and excellent selection. They re my go-to in Covid times and will be afterwards, too.
Always a great selection of interesting spirits. Friendly service though could be more knowledgeable about the individual liquors. They have parking and delivery!
Unprofessional and really inflated prices. Management seems clueless. Supposedly was talking to the boss but he knew nothing about whiskey? Umm ok. Staff seem miserable. Avoid this place. I should have stuck to the store nearest me instead.
My workmates and I went to this shop last week, and we greatly have fun. The ambiance was cool, clean, and not crowded. Also, the staff that entertained our order at that time was very nice, entertaining, and careful. The wines and beers that we ordered were all very good and OK. Eventually, we left there with a smile and realization. Till next time! Thanks!
Had a great experience buying Cognac as a gift, something I knew nothing about. The recipient gave great reviews and the guy at the store was knowledgeable and patient. Will be back.
I attended a Spirits tasting at Downtown Spirits with Oola Distillery. It was a fabulous educational opportunity for the newby - and somewhat less than newby - spirits drinker. The atmosphere was excellent - the Downtown Spirits staff that participated were positive - and the "seminar" provided in conjunction with the tasting was superb (though ultimately not my favorite spirits - I took full advantage...:-)!!).
BTW - make sure to park in the stalls specifically labeled "Downtown Spirits" (there are plenty and they are on the street side).
This place was a lifesaver when visiting Seattle. It was close to where I was staying at, they have pretty much everything you could look for from wines to spirits, and the price was reasonable. The cashier was really nice to me. Thanks guys!
The staff is kind and helpful, the selection is excellent, online ordering is a breeze, and they re even offering curbside pickup and fast local delivery. If they don t have something in stock or on their website, send them a quick email and they will help you get what you re looking for.
Worst service I've ever expirienced! I was traveling from out if town and stopped in to find a liquor which they didn't carry but I looked around and found several other things to purchase, I had my family with us and when going to checkout with my items he insisted on checking the ID of every one of my family members there where 8 of them and one of the kids wasn't 21 and he refused to sell me anything even though the rest of my family was not purchasing anything.
Great selection and the staff is very helpful. They do tasting on Fridays and have a growler fill up station. Love that have extensive local options. I feel like I can easily spend an hour looking around at everything.
Don t mess with a national chain like Total Wine or BevMo. Downtown Spirits has as good of a selection or better - without any of the bloat of unwanted bottles. Their delivery is super fast (>1hr) and super easy to order. Can you say Scotch delivered to your door in an hour? At least there s one good thing in 2020.
DTS has a great selection of wine, beer, liquor and more. Their staff is helpful and knowledgeable! We love their in store events (tastings, happy hour, etc). They also have great parking!
It'd be 5 stars if the guy at the front counter with the glasses wasn't a cold, rude dude. The rest of staff was helpful enough, the two times I've visited.
Ginormous selection of spirits, wine and beer. There's also a cozy little corner by the beer section where you can get a beer or glass of wine and watch whatever movie they have playing. One of the best whiskey selections in the city.
They have definitely done a great job at making life easier in 2020. The delivery is speedy. There's text notifications and tracking when in route to you. The selection is great. Thank you!
Probably the best place to get any kind of alcohol in the area. The selection for everything is really good, normally stores carry a larger selection of beers and less of spirits, or vice versa. This place carries an extensive stock of everything, beer, cider, wine and spirits! The staff are super friendly and helpful, but also don't follow you around the whole time bothering you or watching you, and actually just let you browse around in peace, but still offer helpful advice if you ask.
A great and local business with friendly educated staff. They can ship and deliver spirits, have a casual place to get beer on tap or fill growlers, and wide assortment of fine wines, spirits etc. I can always find a reasonably priced mescal tequila here, and the staff certainly seems more knowledgeable and above just a cashier or restocking clerk.
The beer selection is pathetic and the staff was rude. Also if you like getting your car broken into you should park in front of this building watched a guy car hop two cars on the way out.
Don't bother. They are not reputable. They will overcharge you. If you order something, you will never get it. They are disorganized. There are other better liquor stores in the area that will give you personalized service. Read the reviews. There are a lot of bad reviews here. They are nowhere near a 4.2 !!!! This is a joke
Great for whiskey connoisseurs but where's the love for us gin aficionados? You know there's lots of East Coast distilleries that make amazing gin too.
Decent prices but Washington State taxes make ANY store laughable so its not their fault. I try to stop in every so often to see if there are any new gems.
EDIT: In response to the owner, I'd say 3 of my favs would include
1. Forthave Spirits, their Blue gin. 2. Caledonia Spirits, their Barr Hill gin 3. Warwick Valley Distillery, their Brooklyn gin
I'll have more ideas once I do a bit more, ahem, "research" in November
Excellent, quick service from friendly staff! Interior (pre covid) feels closer to the more upscale east coast liquor stores. Super easy and convenient pickup and online ordering (during covid)
Great selection of pretty much anything. I'm partial to their rotating selection of craft beers. They have a few taps in back at reasonable prices, so this is a nice stop with friends after work. They used to do free tastings on Fridays but haven't had one in a month or two, bring those back! They were a blast.
Cam answered the phone, was super patient, super knowledgeable. Patiently helped me select the perfect ones, helped place an online order, and delivered the same day!! Definitely will order come them again! Great service!!
An elegant and great taste of wine! This wine shop in the area is a must-visit. The huge collection of wines they had was magnificent. They had all kinds of wines from all over the world. My favorite wines that I bought from them was from France. It was really tasty and satisfying. I really love this shop!
I'm here on business and stopped in to check out a few days ago on a walk. Great selection of wines and beer. Didn't check out the spirits since the taxes in WA are obnoxious. Came back and got some beer. Glad I know where it is now for my next trip to Seattle.
We have been frequenting downtown spirits since before COVID and they have always been very friendly and have a great stock of products. Since COVID, their delivery service has been amazing.
A great place to shop, but we paid $27 for a 2 hour wine "seminar" that was just a run-of-the-mill tasting that is free at every other wine/liquor store anywhere else in the Seattle. Five wines, no "education", and we were out of there in 30 minutes. It was advertised as limited to 20 people, but that appeared to be just a ploy to persuade people that it was in some way "limited" or "special". It was neither of those things.
