During my time at Campus Circle, the office staff has been second-to-none when handling any questions. They've held to a standard of excellence for the 1+ year I've been a tenant, and the management clearly cares about the property. The apartment is well-constructed, and the staff has been attentive to maintenance and upkeep.
The staff has made my time at Campus Circle very comfortable and convenient. Most of them knows me by name so it has always felt like home here. The maintenance team comes within a day or two of a service request and have let me into my apartment when I've left my keys, free of charge. If you follow rules and policies, you'll have a great experience here.
It will be nice to have a light on the ceilling, and other than that everything works pretty well. Sometimes the Internet would get a bit weird. People said there are bugs at first floor but I think things is better at higher floor.
The apartment is really good with good service and good environment.
i have lived there for one year. It's clean and price is fair.
Upon movein, ethernet was not working. Until now, internet still super slow after 10pm; cardboard requires to be placed near office, which is fairly far from living garage side. Entrance lock on 5th garage broke for 2 months at least. Renewing price was based on the time filling out google form???? Experienced one day without hot water. Smoke alarm keeps beeping. Sound insulation is really bad, especially obvious at night. Staff were overall helpful.
The rent goes from 599 last year to 739 this year. Renewing the lease is by racing who fill in a google form they sent by email faster. If u check ur email box 15 minutes after they sent the forms, booooom, u will get a rate much higher than ur roomate who happened to found the form as soon as they sent them. So lack of respect to the residents!
Unreasonable charges. If they find a tiny stain on the carpet, congratulations, prepare $50 to lose. There are numerous reasons to charge u for any unnoticeable damages, so make these into ur budget when calculating ur living cost.
Countless room inspection. They enter ur room once a month on average. In July, they entered twice for many wired reasons.
The room arrangement shown to u is wrong when signing the lease, but they refuse to correct it and charge $100/person if u want to exchange ur room with ur roomates even if u have not moved in yet. When my suitemates and I were picking our rooms, I chose one far from the washing machine and dryer. On the first day I entered my unit, I found my room was the one that is close to the machines. The manager Molly said the room map is not correct and they refused to take any responsibility. I talked to my suitemate and he agreed to exchange the rooms, but the manager said we had to pay $200 for the exchange even if we had not moved in yet!
Campus Circle only care how much money they can earn from u. The residents are always on the last position on their priority list.
Give you a lot of inspections and ask for a lot of money have faith and don t live here;)
The management and room is awesome. I have to say Kyle white helped me a lot during my stay. Just a little sad the pool is not open due to the coronavirus last term:)
Kyle is the man. He hooked me up with FREE pancakes while I was walking past
The experience is great here. We have private bedroom and bathroom, a kitchen with enough cooking tools, and many convenient public areas such as fitness rooms, study rooms, etc.
great service, especially the package service was legit. room size was just suitable for me and my roommate.
I really enjoy living at the campus circle. Nice environment and quiet community, with a good amount of study rooms and a big gym. The only thing is if someone at the 5th floor doesn t smoke weed that often, I would be happier because I don t need to smell it in the hallway. Overall the living experience is pretty nice! One thing I forgot to mention the leasing office is pretty nice and efficient and the maintenance is surprisingly fast. Like it too!
Good apartment to live and to have fun with friends
You will get wrongfully towed I was in parking for less than an hour in the 4 hour space and got towed. They say parking was thoroughly discussed on move in all they told me on move in was you can park there for 4 hours never did they say it was for resident guests. They will charge you for everything one of my friends got charged for smoking and he does even smoke and their response was do not have paraphernalia in your room . They have unannounced inspections. I was accused for stealing the study room chairs the chair they provide for the room and that was the only chair in the room. I would never live there again even if it was free because they will fine you more than it would be to live elsewhere. Although they do have excellent customer service and are happy to help however they can which is hard to find.
Everything is almost perfect until the COVID. Now people pick up their package only through appointments, "for the community's safety," as the management says. HOWEVER, when I was scheduling for pickup, the earliest time would be days away, if not weeks, while there is no one picking up packages when I pass through the office. They don't allow people to pick up their packages during the weekend, even during their "busy" weekend office hours, because of the "understaff and short amount of office hours." : ) We didn't pay the rent for that kind of service.
nice for a 4-room residence, with helpful assistance.
The facilities in Campus Circle are very good and the staff are very willing to help residents here.
Living at campus circle is one of the greatest apartment choices I've made. I won Lollapalooza tickets in a raffle here, there's super friendly and professional staff and any issues I've had here I've had support from the camps circle team in resolving them. I would definitely recommend living here for the price, location and private bathrooms! :D
unreasonable charge in my room! Don't let them know you won't stay here next year, they will charge as much as they can.
Apartments were fantastic, very nice with plenty of space. Management was more than accommodating when I had issues and nice as well; the amenities were great as well.
Shhh, network down again
:o
for all night long
Oh it's Pavlov, can't argue w/ that
Very nice apartment. There are a lot of great amenities. The facility is clean and feels like a home. The staff is VERY friendly and quick to help out.
CC seems like a great appartment at first, but it starts to charge unreasonable fines during inspection. My friend was charged 500 dollar for a really minor sofa damage . What s more, the renew price in 2018 is even higher than the new signed price. This apartment is money oriented and please don t choose CC if there s any other choice.
Today they offer me the renew price of 780/month, but I promise to you all that the new signed price will be lower, and they will reduce their price when they realize that they can t rent out all of the rooms. Last year, after they offer me a renew price of 780/month, and they told me that would be the best price I can get, they offer a price of 699 for new resident in the spring. Please don t renew and wait for them to reduce their price.
By the way, Molley, the front desk of campus circle, she will ask resident to give five star rating on google. So don t believe all of the five star reviews.
The equipment is brand new and good to use. The apartment is cozy and safe.
The management is absurd. To get your package, you have to call to make appointments and when you call, the next appointment is like a week later?????????? It only takes less than a minute to get a package.
It seems like they only care about employees who get paid instead of us residents who actually are paying.
Had a very pleasant experience living here. The staff are friendly and the the gym is perfect.
Nice room and very good staffs. Best delivery system.
This is my first review because I feel the team deserves really positive one. I have lived here for 2 yrs, and I previously lived in Latitude. 0. Their team is super friendly and the maintenance is professional and fast! 1. The building on the garage side is super quiet (for light sleepers). The parking garage is convenient, and you don't need to take the elevator. 2. It has good sunshine due to the south east direction. 3. the times for emergency alerts are far less than Latitude. If they can add a package system, then it would even better. Strongly recommended.
I never leave reviews but have to for this place. DO NOT LIVE HERE. They nickel and dime you for everything and their staff has never been on the same page, from the moment I went through the subleasing process to when I moved out. They will charge the entire floor if one person somewhere on your floor leaves a trash bag lying outside of the door, which is COMPLETELY out of others' control. At one point, other people were continuing to leave trash in the hallway and my roommate and I went downstairs to talk to the office and even volunteered to pick up the trash so that the rest of the floor would not be charged. They did not offer to help us at all but basically suggested that yes, it would be a good idea to pick up other people's trash to avoid the rest of us being charged since their manager was not in the apt. Seriously?? Knowing their reputation of charging for everything, I also triple checked with their staff on ways to avoid these fees when I thoroughly cleaned everything and they recommended taking pictures. As expected, even after these pics, I was charged with move-out fees that I was not at fault for whatsoever. The place may look nice but their staff is a mess. AVOID this place at all costs.
This is how campus circle sucks.
Once I accidentally made a payment with an account which did not have enough fund. After I realized that, I made another payment and cleared out all my balance.
However, their system was still charging me repeatedly. Though the system credited back what it charged for, the bank placed a returned item fee on my account once campus circle tried to withdraw money.
I consulted bank workers and they said unless campus circle stopped charging me, the fee would come up again and again.
Then I emailed property manager for help. Clearly there is something wrong with their system and instead of helping me fix this, she gave me a ledger which showed nothing and ask me go figure it out myself.
I was so pissed off. I hope my broken English described this issue clear.
Besides, they raise the rent by whatever they want. I signed a 4B4B last year for 700+/mo and they asked me to renew with a price of around 900/mo. When they realized they cannot rent all rooms out, they repriced 4B4B to 650. Thank god I didn t renew.
Lololol ridiculous property and its workers.
Never live here again
the staffs are really helpful and the place is well built and you can find all the things you need
When I firsts started looking for apartments at uiuc I was terrified. I went to several different places and never felt comfortable until I came to campus circle. First, the staff is beyond words phenomenal, helpful and welcoming. Shout out to Molly, Tatiana and Brittanie. Walking me through the process very carefully and and making me feel at ease. I'm a bit of a nervous person so I think I've called about 20 times in two months to ask about basic things like weather or not I need to bring a shower curtain and what size the beds are. They even went to far as to text me pictures of the model rooms they have so I can have a template on how to decorate my room. Second, the amenities and units are beyond luxuriously. From a heated swimming pool, yoga studio and dozens of study rooms to the small things like free printing and tanning beds, campus circle is is truly a perfect place to have a nurturing learning experience in a comfortable safe environment.
Molly and the campus circle staff are so helpful and so nice! Love living here!
nice apartment, close to ECEB, and with good facilities.
They try to seize every opportunity to charge you; constantly doing so-called quarterly inspections and looking for reasons to charge you penalty fees. Even worse, we were charged a penalty fee for replacing the sofa, we paid the fee and were promised to have the sofa replaced. We checked a couple of weeks later, was told the sofa was on its way and then checked again a month later, was told the replacement will be done when we move out... Our bills were calculated wrongly for several months and then was manipulated to make the numbers look correct. They even sent me the bills thinking we would not look at them carefully. When we questioned the bill, we were told that we were charged "correctly, and fairly"; so we had to waste a lot of time explaining to them and finally help them realize that their "math" was wrong. This kind of experiences make me really question how they manage the facility and care for their clients. I am very disappointed because this is not the type of experience I thought I was paying for.
Living at this place is an horrible experience! Stay away from this place. I'm sure that they will reply they cannot find me in their system, which is ridiculous. Everyone who gave a one-star review have definitely lived here!
Great environment and staff. Would live here again.
Terrible experience. I didn't like the service here. One of the employee didn't go through the contract in detail. I was told that I could pay the deposit with a credit card and when I actually went there, they wanted me to pay with a check. So I hard to go back to get a check. They also don't respond to emails. When I cancelled my lease, I had to pay a 85% of the month's fee. But my friend paid WAY LESS than that which was so unfair.
Fantastic apartment.Great facilities and great staff.
Marisa has been the most helpful throughout the entire process and so has Kyle. As an international student from Austria I had a lot of questions and they were prompt to put all my doubts to rest. I am so excited to be living in a community that is already making me feel so welcomed and at home. A big shoutout to the wonderful team
Overall the apartment is okay. The blinds are translucent, which makes it impossible to sleep after sunrise.
Great experience, bedroom is nice bright and clean. Love the study rooms and recreational area.
I really enjoyed the facilities like gym here, and the staff are really nice and helpful. Especially Molly she is so lovely.
The apartments have been very nice and the facilities have also been very good! The staff is also very friendly!
Have the employee with the worst attitudes-a white woman. Plzz stay away from her, her attitude makes u feel like you owe her money. The worst apartment experience of my life. Wont choose here
it is very convenient to grab my packages. Every employee here is sooo amazing with friendly attitudes! Like Molly and karl
A place where u pay high price and get the worst internet service
If you ever live here, you will enjoy many kinds of charges. They charge you on stain on the sofa for $500, shower curtains outside the bath tub for, they can simply says you have a pet in your room and charge for 300, also 600 charge for a dirty shelf. They even write other room number on your package so you won t get it anyway and they just deny that the package has been delivered. Live in campus circle if you have no idea where to spend all your money.
I signed a lease with CC but had to transfer it to somebody else. Their management was EXTREMELY helpful and specific when it came to the whole process of finding somebody else to take my lease as well as answering any of the many questions that I had! Molly is one of the nicest people I have ever met and made the entire process much less stressful! Would absolutely never hesitate to recommend this apartment to anyone considering a luxury apartment in UIUC!
I've had nothing but great customer experience with campus circle. Every question I had before I moved was addressed. The leasing office is connected to the building with convenient hours (10-7). Molly and her staff were very helpful and were flexible with my housing needs. Of all the places I have lived in Champaign Urbana Campus Circle has by far been the best.
The staff is amazing! Amenities are great! I really enjoy living here and would recommend it.
Great building with well kept facilities for all residents. Also, nice and up-to-date apartments. The staff is also very nice, respectful, and helpful.
Final update after one year here: the apartment itself is great. New building and all kinds of fancy facilities. What bugged me is the property management company, Peak Campus. It s just uneasy to live with them. For example, they have their quarterly inspection and would enter your room without asking whether you allow that or not, even if you re sleeping, simply because they have no time for that. And for the lock down, I don t think the gym is now open despite other apartments being able to do that month ago. There s no refund for that, of course. Whole-building fire alarm triggered 4-5 times at midnight before they finally found out who did it. If you constantly complain that there are way too many residents to handle (thus there s no way to be a little bit more considerate), please just hire more staff!
==========
There were some glitches at the time of signing but they were well resolved later. You may need to ask the manager (instead of receptionists) if you're unclear about some specific terms. Hopefully I will spend a good year here.

I m still feeling that they don t know how to best leverage customers time. For example, I was asked to sign some documents for about 4-5 times (spanning several months), with one reason being there are some typos in the document . I ve also been to their office a couple of times for these document related things. Anyway, get ready to be bugged by them from time to time!
Its a really nice place...Loving it-the staff, proximity and all other good stuff! So I give the apartment a 5/5.
Great location, large room space and nice furnitures condition. Kyle in the office is always very patient and helpful!
I had a real great time here and I really recommend here!
Literally, living here changed my life. I was harassed daily whenever I was a single day late for rent, threatened to be evicted me for 1 violation (which I was overcharged for and eventually paid back because of it), would harass my mother at her place of work for fees, and we re just overall money hungry individuals. My account had to be credited due to inappropriate distribution of charges, my car was towed (TWICE) from the the parking zones located by the main entrance while other cars weren t reprimanded for the same violation, and just overall discrimination towards myself and my roommate. Rules were regulated whenever they felt like it and there was no legit/proper structure to this business. We ve both had to get our parents involved several times and it was just overall an uncomfortable living condition and as a black woman, I felt personally attacked for the entire year that I lived here. I wouldn t recommend living here to my worst enemy. There s no human decency or care for their residents, they just want your money!
Lived here for two years. Great apartment, fast maintenance and friendly staff. I think I gonna miss this place for a while.
Living in Campus Cirlce has made my university experience more enjoyable. I have a comfortable place to live with all the attentions I could ask from from a friendly staff. I would not think twice about living here again.
4.5 stars for now. Better than latitude which I lived till last year. But the screen and window should be improved ASAP for bug prevention.
This is great apartment for students and young adults just moving into the Champaign area. The staff is amazing and friendly and always willing to answer questions. Highly recommend this apartment complex.
i think the picking package is so awful. Although making a reservation is okay because of the covid, why should I wait more than a hour.did the officier actually is at work!
I went to see the single room, but there were only 8 single rooms. The four are single rooms with study rooms, and the rest are just regular single rooms, but I think the rental fee, which is about 1,500 dollars, even with utilities, is too expensive. Of course, there are many amenities such as indoor parking and residential complex, and there are many study rooms. The 4-person or 2-person rooms usually cost around $ 1,000 per person, so they seem to be able to live. The single-room is expensive and, in addition, southeastern, but because of the structure of the translator-shaped building, the low-rise part had no sunlight. If you come in as 2 or 4 people, it would be perfect, but since the location itself is near the North quad, it is a convenient location for engineering students (because there is not enough parking space to drive classes to the South quad). It is questionable to prefer the 4-person room.
Campus circle is a great apartment for U of I student to live! Newly constructed building, very close to campus. Most importantly, Molly in the leasing office is very nice and helpful for everything. If your are looking for the apartment next year, I highly recommend you to choose Campus Circle apartment!
I LOVE it here! I love having my own room/bathroom and the gym is AMAZING!
everything is pretty good at campus circle. the stuffs are nice and the apartment is clean and quite
