Great slopes! Very clean and the staff is very friendly and efficient! Just wish they would run the snow machines midday! Very easy to find and pro tip: don't speed when getting close to the resort, the police are always crawling nearby!

Visited Camelback Ski Mountain for the first time this season and was very disappointed. The mountain was over crowded, many slopes not open, and major price gouging going on. The lift ticket prices changed daily depending on how busy they were (prices increased by the hour, it seemed), a tiny plastic container of lettuce was $10 and astronomical parking fees!! Hoping CB works out the kinks and focuses on increasing the experience as opposed to finding ways to take advantage of loyal consumers.

Great place, however, I'll drop 2 stars because military discounts should not be more expensive than twilight lift tickets, at least make them the same value if you truly support those who serve.

Terrible customer service. Called 3 times for assistance booking, was told I would get a call back from a manager that I never got. On the 3rd call I was put on hold 3 times and waited over 30 minutes ....yeah at this rate I'm booking somewhere else.

Really cool mountain with runs. For me personally have the experience is having a nice dinner at some time. And the restaurant atop the mountain closed at 5:00 p.m. when I was there on the Thursday and it just didn't make sense. So the experience was just okay. Cause there's a million other mountains I could have went to.

I skied there and you can't blame them for mediocre snow, however it was very crowded. Its also not too visually appealing. However the trails are fun, its good for all ages, and the liftlines aren't too crazy

At the bar inside Aquatopia they totally ignored us, I guess because we are Hispanics. I was so mad because we spended money more than an average visitor. Did not like the treatment. We gave them great tip so they pay attention more often!

Camelback Mountain -Your snow tubing experience wa...

Camelback Mountain -Your snow tubing experience was a huge disappointment to our family and many others who vocalized their complaints on Saturday. Snow tubing was our kids Christmas present this year and I knew I needed to buy tickets ahead of time. So 10 days beforehand I get on to find that you ve skyrocketed prices to 75$ per person. So after dumping 450$ to take my family tubing, we get there to find traffic gridlock, no parking, and crowds. Oh yea- we still had to pay for parking. The real kicker was the 4, yes 4 total times we actually Made it down the hill in the 2 hour time a lot. You hold the entire sum of lanes until every last person has exited the bottom- with only one exit- making each run take 20 min total. While your employees yell at the top to make people sit at the point that they can t even hold back their tubes on the hill. While families wait in line for 45 min or more as kids get cold, hungry, and wet and toddlers meltdown. You successfully made tubing an elitist sport, only affordable to the few or the families that dump savings into a now once in a lifetime experience, in a year where families are struggling and craving any safe experience they can get. You should be demonstrating your generosity and dedication to your community s family friendly tourism , especially in a year where so many are struggling. Your greed will far exceed the best my family made out of the experience in my eyes. But it was a good lesson in teaching my kids to make the best out of a bad situation- so I thank you for that. We will look to other resorts for family fun in the future.

This is a typical poconos mountain. Long lift lines, short runs. Everything is overpriced. A chocolate chip cookie is more than $5. We had to pay for a full day lift ticket for my son who only rides the magic carpet and beginner lift. After 5 runs he was fine for the day. On top of all this, they charge for parking!

Nice water park, small and manageable for our day camp but not small enough to be repetitive or boring. Food isn't gourmet but the prices are better than most other theme parks. Great tree top course at the base of the mountain.

Today My family and I spent our day at camelback. With the blizzard and everything closed we still managed to have a great time. A worker named Spencer truly went above and beyond to make our visit at Camelback a great time. He offered to take my kids outside for a snowball fight , made my kids smile and laugh with being goofy and was really helpful to us throughout our day . We hope to return soon to really experience all they have to offer .

Outdoor adventure is not bad. But, the indoor waterpark is lacking. A lot of the slides were closed. The women showering room inside is not clean. In term of the hotel room, the shower rope didn't work.

As a beginner skier I had such a good time for my first trip at this mountain. I took advantage of the rental and lesson package and so glad I did. I had Stan who made the lesson so fun and easy and I learned deal. I can't wait to go back!

Snowboarding only two trails open and too many people. Average wait time get on lift 20 mins. Too many people on trails and trying to dodge your way down.
Also they started charging for parking where usually for free. $40.00
seem like they need every penny!
I've been coming camelback for few years including their resort. This most likely my last time....
By the way, don't trust their mountain condition report even lifts say open but actually closed!!!! ask for refund when that happen!

With covid crashing all the parties and opening weekend, my first visit was a mess. I will have to give this resort another shot in the future. Beautiful and very large mountain overall but, unfortunately few trails and lifts open which caused large lines and congestion on the slopes. Hopefully later in the season things will relax and be more enjoyable.

MONEY GRAB. Lift ticket prices have increased and formerly free parking is now THIRTY DOLLARS. All of this extra cost translates to exactly ZERO LIMITING OF CAPACITY OR EXTRA LIFTS BEING RUN. It was like a normal pre-covid Sunday. Ill prepared staff having to shepherd people around after seeing that the lift lines were so long they were blocking the ends of adjacent runs. Lines averaged 15-20 minutes. No signs in the bathrooms limiting capacity or reminding people to wear masks. No outdoor tables to eat lunch at beyond those in a tent (not really outdoors). Conditions on the slopes were pretty good, but it was NOT WORTH THE PRICE, as they did almost nothing to make the experience safer or more efficient.

The place overall was great other than a little ice in some spots but that s not what made me give this resort 3 stars the staff here is just lazy and look like they dont want to be there i also came across a working lady on the green hill after i fell for my 3rd time that day and that time was to stop me from hitting a stopped little child and she asked me if i knew where the beginner hill is so I explained to her how to get there and she said in a very nasty way if you are a beginner you should be there i told her that no I m not a beginner and that she should be happy for me not hitting the child off of the cliff side and that i was on the black trail 5 times already that day i kept on snowboarding but it remained in my head all day so if you are a person who likes nice staff and likes snowboarding i try to ask the disrespectful staff members for there names and report them to another worker

The worst-run, worst-managed ski resort in Pennsyl...

The worst-run, worst-managed ski resort in Pennsylvania.

This pains me to say because I've been a multiple-year pass holder at Camelback, and Camelback is where I learned to snowboard. I want to love Camelback, but I can't.

Camelback's management has gotten worse and worse over the years.

They're consistently under-staffed, which leads to fewer lifts being open (on every day I've been up this year, it's taken hours to get more than 2 lifts open on the mountain), which leads to longer lines and waits, even at times and on days when there shouldn't be waits. This year has exposed Camelback's faults like no other--as most other mountains have a system and plan in place to limit capacity during COVID, Camelback has let its mountain run amok, lift lines stretching for 200+ yards across trails and to the parking lots. And they now charge money to park in most (if not all) of the lots, which is new for this year.

The biggest open secret at Camelback is that they don't check lift tickets. They quite literally do not have a system in place to check for lift tickets. In the last three years (and dozens of trips), I've seen a worker check for lift tickets once. Not only does this lead to more crowding (which is already a huge problem) as a bunch of folks take advantage of that, but it's frustrating as a paying customer to see no accountability in this area.

Furthermore, Camelback somehow consistently has less terrain open than its nearby competitors like Blue, and even Bear Creek, which is much farther south. They keep repeating the line to us "We have 377 new snow guns"--It doesn't matter. Hasn't translated to more trails open.

No workers, not enough lifts open, a lack of organization and planning, no crowd limits, AND less trails--it's a perfect storm.

If you visit Bear Creek or Blue or Seven Springs (or any other mountain, really), you'll notice the night-and-day difference in operations and management. Even Elk, which is much more bare bones and old school, surpasses Camelback in the way it's run.

This year has been the last straw for me as a pass holder. Starting next season, I (and my friends and family) plan to spend zero dollars at Camelback, and I'll be encouraging everyone I know looking to ski in NE Pennsylvania to spend their time and money at Blue, Elk, or Bear Creek until Camelback makes substantial changes.

Camelback is all hype and definitely is not better the Kalahari. They make you book a room to utilize the indoor water park. Which is not worth it being that I reside 10 min away. Now after I spent tons of money on a room and etc a customer told me she didn t have to get a room they have day passes. I also paid $60 for a birthday package which was supposed to be a door decoration teddy bear room banner and a card. There was no room banner just a cheap poster on the door and a dollar balloon. What a waste of money. On top of that check in isn t until 4:00 pm and check out is 11:00 am. At 11:01 while I was leaving house keeping was banging on the door. So unprofessional. I will never visit camelback again !!!

Everyone was so nice & polite, our only issue was when we called (before driving 45 minutes) if they had openings. We were told yes & no reservations needed. We got there & sold out of the big Zip line. We would have reserved spots for 5 of us, also we were not told that they were closing an HR after we got there.

Camelback is a great ski/snowboard resort. The trails are well maintained as well as the lodge. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had a great time & definitely would recommend going for the day. Get there early parking fills up fast. But they do provide shuttle buses which is great.

Lifts and runs are shorter than blue mountain. We visited both before and after a winter storm. They didnt manage issues very well. There are two routes up to the mountain. One which was easily drivable, the other was dangerous to attempt without 4WD. They should have closed the road off and routed everyone via the resort, but they didn't. The day before the storm we went at lunchtime but they were closing at four. They still charged us for a full day, but they should have charged people the reduced rate they use for twilight skiing. Rentals are half the price on the way up to the mountain.

Had an amazing time! It was my second time skiing and by the end of the day I was doing great. The bunny hill is nice and big, even with a lot of people it isn't crowded. Lines went quick for the lift. Food was average cafeteria food. Nice shops at the lodge too.

If you plan on going snowboarding or skiing here, ...

If you plan on going snowboarding or skiing here, don t. Unless you have someone that can hold your personal belongings while your on the mountain, just stay home. I went here a few days ago with my sister, her boyfriend and friends. While snow boarding my sisters boyfriend got there backpack ransacked. She got her wallet emptied, they stole over $200 cash and all her change. Her boyfriends entire Gucci wallet was stolen with around the same amount of cash, his license, debit and credit cards. Staff said there was nothing they could do. Another gentleman was there and said they were lucky because his Subaru was stolen the same day. The staff admitted that robbery is high here but they are not responsible. I was very upset because every time I walked around the facility staff was socializing and not watching the premises. They need to do something about this situation so it doesn t happen to others. Very sad situation.

Pretty nice mountain to ski on. Went on presidents day weekend. awesome deal if you ski after 3pm with half price lift tickets. ski rentals are reasonable at 28 a person.

Beware if you dont have 4 wheel drive, I would not drive with bad road conditions, they do drop some sand, but the road leading up to the parking lot was rough.
