Camelback Lodge & Indoor Waterpark Review

Snow tubing was great!! Ate at Hemisphere and the food was excellent!!!

So much fun for the family. Expensive but so much to do for the kids. Arcade, minigolf, laser tag, rock climbing, bowling, water park, skiing, and tubing. Great place for families.

Waterpark is dirty and crowded. Hotel and buffet or a plus good food.

I love that the accommodations include the indoor waterpark. We had tornado watches during our trip, but that did not interfere with our fun and indoor water activities. There is a lot to do besides the waterpark. There is a game room/arcade, laser tag, pottery painting, donut decorating, outdoor rides, mountain coaster, ziplining, restaurants.
The rooms are big and clean. We had a 2 bedroom suite; 2 queen beds in one room, a king bed in the other, living room, kitchenette, 2 bathrooms. My 5 year old loved every bit of this trip.

we did'nt get rooms imediatly and had to wait for a long time, and when I complained to one of the employees they said we have have to wait after 4pm and was quite cold and i was so upset. complain again to other employee she gave us the room immediately . This is not nice services also the room isn't clean
next time never try again. ...

Loved the cozy feel of the lodge. Waterpark was awesome. Great balcony views from evey room !

Wonderful experience for the whole family. Theme park sized outdoor water park/beach and an indoor water park that will blow your mind.

This is the worst place ever!! They said we got free ski passes and we didn t, there website is so unfriendly! You can only do a private lesson with 3 people.

Great brand new indoor waterpark! The room was very spacious and felt pretty new. Lots of fun for the kids! Great experience!

My family and I had an amazing experience. There was good food, nice staff, and we totally kicked ass at the arcade. Aquatopia was fun, and it was warm. There was many rides there and it kept me and my family occupied for the time we where there. The rooms were great, with the smart TV's. This was a vacation I'm gonna cherish for ever. Thanks for the amazing experience. :).

I am taking off one star only because I did end up coming home with Swimmers Ear. They did not clean their pool well, but it was all worth it :)

We have done many trips to camelback. First one many years ago for snowboarding. These days we enjoy the snow tubing more often with the little ones.And we also went to the indoor aquatopia this time around and it was well worth it. I feel that the park isn't as big as Kalahari but it is still very spacious. And if you go now there's a promotion for free lift tickets and free snow tubing and free aquatopia tickets with your stay.

I went to the autumn festival, and I didn't care for it. Just a lot of vendors, but not a lot of activities for the kids to enjoy. They only had the jumping on the trampoline going and the line was horrendous. I love the location, but I would like to seeore stuff for the kids next year!!

Where else on Earth can you go swimming in the morning and skiing in the afternoon!!

Had an overall good experience here, but in my opinion, it's overpriced for the amenities provided. Comfortable bed though.

It's a great place to go fun for the whole family!! The only problem I had was the chlorine was too strong other then that it was great!

We had a very nice experience here. The children loved it. The food is definitely suspect though they need to rethink their food options.

We were only at the water park but it was clean! Prices for food and drink were very reasonable. We had a Cabana Anand it was clean and our attendant was awesome!! Great experience and we will be returning

If you love cold and is willing to spend hours playing around, this is the place for you. Make sure you go in larger groups to have fun. Really enjoyed the snow tubing. We took the last slot for the day and luckily the crowd was less. Did skiing as well and learned that it is not my cup if tea

I don't think I'll be going back I'd rather fill up my bathtub and order some Chinese food I have my own FiOS Internet

This is my 4th time coming to Camelback. On the 3 times coming here, we ve stayed at another hotel due to high prices and would just come here for the indoor water park. This was my 1st coming here and staying in the lodge. All I have to say is wow! Check in was quick and easy, and they even gave us the room early. The room is spectacular! Up to date rooms, a nice view , and the bed was comfy and CLEAN! The water park was packed, I wouldn t say it was 50% capacity. I d say more. Many people don t fallow the 6 feet restrictions, and the board to surf on is not wiped of after someone uses it. Quick lines, and the slides are incredible! I wouldn t recommend the Venus fly trap to anyone who is nervous about Covid. If you only have a party of 2 you need to go with someone else for you to go down the slide. I went on with a party i didn t even know. Life guards are professional, and their masks are on at all times. After the water park we headed snow tubing. Also incredible but again, most people don t fallow 6 feet restrictions. Lodge staff are attentive and always ready to respond. We had a problem turning off the air conditioner, so a staff member came within seconds after calling the front desk. Food is decent. For breakfast i d recommend french toast. My travel companion ordered The Camelback and was served small portions of eggs, home fries. On our 1st time coming here (before staying at the lodge) we stayed at Neptune s and the food was meh . I suggest traveling outside the lodge for great food. 100% recommended this place. Prices are worth it and don t be hesitant with booking!

It was snowing when we arrived and then the indoor water park was nice and warm. It's a fun place to go. You can snowski and have fun in the water park.

My family and I have gone here two times and will go back a third.

Here right now! Seems like they've worked out the problems they might have had (listed in earlier reviews) because I'm a pretty picky person and I'm having a BLAST! No issues whatsoever! Please people, realize sometimes you just can't please everyone. I'm certain that some really negative reviews are written by "the competitors"....

Best Indoor resort I've ever been to and I hope to do that again real soon.

I enjoyed this place very much except for one thing-the staff! First night here we went to schedule our tubing time. There are signs all over for a parking lot party . I ask the girl at the desk what exactly that is and she said I don t know I wasn t invited . Huh??? Then we were in the water park and I went to the bar. It wasn t open so I asked the employee when it would be and he said I don t know I haven t decided yet . What??? Every employee here with the exception of the bell hops and valet were very sarcastic and flip. But the place is clean and we had a great time tubing. Over all a great time as long as you don t have to interact with employees.

It was crowded but nice. But the waves in the wavepool are really small

We had a great time with our family. My kids loved it there. They have very nice room and mostly the neutral views.

The only thing that I don't like about this place is you can't take your own food to out door place in camel back. They have to consider not everyone are able to put their specific diet aside and buy food from their stores inside.

Slides are really fun! Much more entertaining than the water parks I grew up with plus it's indoors! It can get a little cold though and is a bit pricy.

Super fun water park! The Venus Fly Trap ride was so much fun! The park is a decent size: it's small enough where you can ride every slide in one day, but fun enough that you'll want to go on each ride multiple times. Defidently a great time!

not as fun as it seems, after the second time, became boring, lines are long, around 20 minutes each time. tickets are around $47.

Perfect place for young kids. Lots to do and plenty of places within 5 minute drive for dinner if you are looking for something outside of the hotel. Highly recommend going during the week if possible as its much less crowded and much more affordable.

Very nice resort with water fun one day and skiing the second. It would have been nice to have a small pantry for cooking in rooms

Out stay was great, a little pricey but overall we had a great time. After a long day at the water park there is nothing like going to a nice comfortable bed. All of the staff were very helpful and you'd feel bad if you don't tip them (baggage handlers) for their help. The food was a little pricey 2 orders of chicken fingers, 1 order of fires and a large soda will run you about $23. This is our 2nd stay so we knew the pack little food; our 1st stay we spent about $40 bucks for a family of 4. Aside from that the room (double Queen with pull out) was clean and comfortably fit my family of 5 and mother and law. All and all had a great week. Oh and they threw in tickets to the outdoor park as well, wish they were redeemable for a later date not just your stay.

The rooms are so great. They are really spacious and the beds are so comfortable. They also have so many pillows and towels ready. The water park staff are great. They made us laugh and made us feel like they were family friends. There was never a dull moment.

Great segway ride and zipline of 4000 feet. Only issue was the cost of the zipline... a bit pricey at 45$ per ride

Came here for my daughters birthday and was astound at how big this place is.

It was fun and we all enjoyed it including my 4 year olds as there is no age limit but only height limit. They passed the height limit with flying colors. What could be improved is their token system. Just serve it outside of the entrance if you are not going to follow line procedure. I waited for 20 mins for no reason on a line that never moved. People just dropped in or huddled around the token distributors to get tokens. I may have gotten 10 am tokens instead of 1 pm if I had just cut the line and went to the other side of the tunnel. It's not just me. People were waiting in food line expecting to buy tickets, what? Just put clear signage!!!

Snack machine sells small water bottles for $3.50
They should check this, seems unreasonably expensive.

I wrote this review while waiting on line at concierge. Worst & most expensive weekend anywhere. Lines lines lines that's that's how describe the weekend. $50 to park my car and then wait an hour to get it. 2hr wait at check in, 50min wait to talk to manager and nobody pick up the phone. God forbid you got sick or had an emergency . Place is a disaster.

Amazing to be at an indoor Waterpark in the middle of Winter! Bless the owners for putting together a great package of water park fun indoors. You can't tell it's Winter outside. When you're done with the Waterpark, head on out to the ski slopes and snow tubes! Something for everyone at any age!

We had an absolute blast. Although the weather didn't cooperate, the indoor water park and other activities kept the kids of all ages more than entertained. Even the adults had a great time in aquatopia. The restaurants were reasonably priced, and the food was never less than great! They were always more than accommodating with peanut/tree nut allergy as well which was a huge plus for us. The rooms were clean and our view of the mountain was beautiful. We Wil definitely be back to experience Camelback in the summer!

I had a marvelous time at the resort. The staffing and rooms were top notch. The view at night was beautiful. Dont get me started on the food because the food was exemplary.

Way to expensive @ $500 a night.. at least they coudlve provided more towels...at the aquatopia!!!! twice they ran out of towels... $5 for a gat damn bagel! and the arcade was the worse...$2 per game..and most games dont work. went thru 80 bucks in 2 minutes on arcades. if ur going to stay more than 2 nights..BRING UR OWN FOOD AND SNACKS... THE LOBBY SNACKS PURE RIP OFF!

Our goto place for birthday gateways. Been here three times so far. Not as crowded as others around. Staff are very friendly and facilities is mostly clean and new.

The Resort Is Absolutely Gorgeous And Very Clean! The Staff Was Amazing And Very Attentive. My Fiance And I Enjoyed The Arcade And The Swim Up Bar. The Resort Has Many Restaurants Near By With Great Food. Shout Out To The Fly Boys Bartender Great Mayhem Margarita. I Can NOT Wait To Come Back!
