Camelback Lodge & Indoor Waterpark Reviews

Was really excited to go with my family for my birthday and it was a huge disappointment. Some of the staff was rude and were laughing at us when we didn't understand something. Our room wasn't ready at 4pm like they told us because they were "backed up" when the place wasn't even that crowded. Many other families were also sitting around waiting for their rooms. The lazer tag was a complete rip off, the video you watch before you play is almost longer than the actual game itself. And the indoor water park that I was most excited about was not as grand (and as big) as I thought it would be. We really tried to make the best of the trip but my family and I were eager to leave as soon as we woke up the next morning. Going to try Kalahari next time.

I went to the CamleBack water park & snow tubing and it was amazing!

The service was excellent but did not like the room quality. The towels were full of cloths that made me to take shower again. Also there was a glass on the bathtub and had to complain. They responded with just bandages and disinfection cream. And also heard them talking that it was a plastic instead of glass. I and room guest all touched it and it WAS a glass. We will come back but they really need to clean the room professionally.

I gave Kalahari a 4 this place is really a 3.25 It's really nice. Arcade is decent. The water park is decent, not very big. But the kids say it's fun. Downside is the wave pool sends waves to only one side. Everybody and their grandmother runs to that side when it begins. Second I was trying to have someone paged to the water park entrance. And I was informed that other than music the system doesn't page. Really??! Cell phone service is sketchy. I asked the attendant what do you do in an emergency. She replied we let security handle that within the park. Really??!

My wife had a wonderful birthday at Trails End i recommend everyone to come food is great fire pit is fun to sit around

The rooms are really big, so no problem there. Small bathroom though they have great water quality and this laundry line in the shower to hang your bathing suit ,so effective

Good family Vacation location. The staff is friendly. The on site restaurants have good food. Plenty of fun for the family

Not good for older kids. I have a 5 and 11 year old. The water park is very crowded with long lines. There were people vaporizing and smoking in outdoor jacuzzi. There was trash all over the outside jacuzzi. People running up and down hallway at 11pm. Very thin walls. The dinner buffet was very good and the staff was very nice and helpful. I think Great wolf was better. I'm glad I bought our stay off Groupon and not at the regular rate. We will not be returning.

It's fun for the first 2 hours, then it gets repetitive and it's time to leave.

Pretty dope. Even during the week quite a few kids. Dining options are a bit overpriced for what they are. But overall a pretty good experience if you're a couple looking to get away and do something different.

Been going here for years. 4 stars just became 2. It's a shame that when you book early and then they send you a promotion, you can't cancel. Even spoke with a supervisor. Will look to stay at one of the other water parks next year.

One of the best hotels ever if you like skiing and water come here.

Love this place but wish price for stay would be lower is too pricy and if there is a booking of 5 people in a room include 5 camelback beach tickets not only 2 as they do especially if you're going to charge an arm and a leg. Other then that good place.

Love the friendliness of staff! I have a service dog for my daughter and they were more than hhelpful to accommodate us without having to embarrased the fact that we travel w our dog

2.5 hrs to the place and not that hard to get there, a lot of people there and need to find a earlier time , room and services are good, and not that expensive.

This is was a fun experience , will definitely return again

Great family place ...lots to do. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Can be pricey, but bought my trip through Groupon and saved some money.

My son loved the stay, he didn't want to leave. Food was good

Great indoor waterpark which is just for hotel guest so no big lines to wait. Hotel rooms are clean and good and hotel staff very polite and kind.

Great place, love it. Will go again! Staff is super nice in the hotel. But the food counter inside Aquatopia was staffed with the most bored and slow and uninterested staff I've met. I couldn't stand the slowness and disinterest of them so went to get food outside. Everyone else was great, the rooms and check in staff were amazing. Thank you!

I just love this place. Everything was amazing. Employees are so kind and helpful, clean facility, fun as all heck for any age! Water Park top notch, mountain adventures are freaking awesome!! We can't wait to go back.

Very good service a lot of Wi-Fi close to other water parks and kids go to sleep faster after pool time

Nice place, some crazy rides ... had my stomach in knots. Was so much fun. The entire family and all our friends of all ages enjoyed themselves.

It s amazingly awesome resort.great views and nice indoor water park with a bar.i loved it.it has arcade and mini golf and laser tag ,wall climbing...

The kids had a great time. It was a couple of things I didn't like such as I was sitting at the pool bar and no one said "we are closed" they just looked at me until I asked a question. I got over it. Only free activity is Aquatopia and the entrance to camelbeach. You pay a fee for EVERYTHING. They dont even tell you about the deals for the indoor actvity center. However, my kids were happy so I am happy.

Awesome waterpark. We never even made it to the outside waterpark and still had an awesome time.

Short lines except for the flowrider, but it was worth the wait. The lifeguards were fun and showed you how to do a variety of tricks. Some lifeguards told me to take my rashghard off on the body slides, but others said it was okay. Overall there were so many fun waterslides with sometimes no lines at night. The beds were okay and everything else was great. Will definitely come back next year.

Understaffed and overbooked, which is very scary with Covid. Only 1 coffee place which opens at 8am. And 1 bar. No activities before pool opens at 10am. Stay at Great Wolf instead!!

A total disappointment and overpriced for the level of service I was given for my daughter's 13th birthday party. If you can, book elsewhere. Not worth the extreme headache.

Great place for kids and families to have fun. So clean, staff are friendly ,and great customer service. Can't wait to visit it again during the winter for ski. The only thing is if they can add more diverse food

Well maintained hotel and watwrpark, friendly staff and plenty to do both inside and outside make the trip here worth the money.

Waterpark is good, but hotel room service is horrible, the carpet smells, there were no bath towels in the room, and ask for 3 times, end up using the hand towel as bath towel, never get helped, never come back again !

This was our favorite resort to date! Our boys had an absolute blast!

This was our second time here and planning to come back. Very friendly staff. Rooms are clean, spacious and quiet. The indoor water park was awesome for all ages. Also clean, well maintained and plenty of fun things to do. I have been recommending this resort to all my friends.

Great hotel which includes the waterpark. Few near activites such as snowtubing and ski are additional. They have biggest area for ski and snowtubing in the area. Hotels is huge, very clean, comfortable and not overprice. It is smaller than Kalahari. However, it is more quiet. Maybe it will be noisy with kids in weekend. I got the room with fireplace that faces to the mountain and it was amazing views and very romantic. The restaurants need improvement. We were eating in Barley Creek for better value and quality.

Quite a good resort. The aquatopia inclusion with the hotel is amazing although things can be quite expensive when it all comes together. I can't speak to the other mountains around the area and their comparison but the trails here were well maintained even as it was nearing the end of the snow season. I would say as well it's better to go at the height of season even though it is more expensive because the coaster, numerous water slides, the Zipline, and a few other attractions were shut down for the time being during our trip and that didn't look to be changing for the better any time soon.

Loved it! Three day weekend. Friendly staff, wave pool was amazing, the kids (5 & 6 years old) loved the aqua basketball. They climbed a wall all the way to the top for the first time, thanks to the staff for cheering them on. Bumper cars were great. They even painted their own ceramic jewelry box. Tons of arcade on the lower level. Absolutely worth it, wish we could have stayed longer.

Go on Groupon and get a 4 pack for $79. Great deal, big savings. Good for the galactic tubing. It's an awesome light show for tubing. Lines move fast. A toasty bonfire. Light fare to eat outside. Prices $$
There's a place to warm up if needed.

This park was great ! The rides were thrilling. The best resort I ve ever went to. The staff there were very friendly and made you feel safe on the rides and made you feel safe all around the resort. I will be coming back

They should check this, seems unreasonably expensive.
