Very nice facility with good service. The common areas are very nice and modern. Lots of stuff to do with the kids. There is truly something for every one. The rooms are clean and comfortable, but seem a little outdated. This didn't detract from the experience too much. I wouldn't call it a romantic place. There are lots of families, and I was awoken at 7:30 to a group of girls running the halls. Perfect for families, however.
My room was missing little things but it wasn't a big deal but my bed was wobbly. The restuarant had good food and a nice waitress but was short staffed and the wait was long to get help and food.
Because I love the video and i have never came to the Camelback Resort and i love to discover new places
What a fun indoor park , kids loved it and my wife and I want to come back
Great place to visit with the family great hospitality and service indoor water park was awesome
Great services and tons of family friendly things to do. The water park is a blast and warm.
We were fortunate enough to find a good deal but being that it was through a fundraiser and the county had the day off from school it was incredibly packed. We went w a large group and the lines for each ride were so long. In fact we waited on one line for 45 minutes, were next to get on and the ride closed due to a malfunction in the machine that brings up the tubes! It was very disappointing. The options for food available inside the park was disappointing as well. A bunch of fried over priced items. The only thing i remember that i would've eaten was a yogurt parfait? They don't allow any snacks into the park either so you are forced (especially w children) to buy something if you didn't want to get dressed and leave to get food out of the park area. On the plus side, they did have a limited cafeteria area right outside the water park area (which to get to you have to walk through an over priced arcade) the decor by the lobby was beautiful. I was not impressed by the rooms. This hotel wad built fairly recently and it looked as if it was made in the 80's... Not to mention when we saw oir friends' rooms, we noticed the decor was EXACTLY the same down to the pictures on the walls. I think they could've varied jyst a little. Not trying to nit pick but i just wanted to give a full picture... might be better on off days? Luckily we had plenty of food and drinks in the rooms...
Everything I did there was good. The only negotiate was the beds were a bit stiff.
The indoor water park was amazing! It wasn't crowded when I went with my family, and plenty of rides had little to no wait.
The water park is a lot of fun, the location is amazing. Was there for a wedding and the ballroom was beautiful and stay was friendly and professional.
Three generation family vacation. Facility accommodated all of us. Note: bring your own food. Food is expensive and there s not many choices.
Beautiful Place during the Holiday's . Merry Christmas!
Rides are fun and this place is taking every precaution possible fell really safe in there and had a lots of fun definitely coming back here next winter..
Great service. Nice room. Wonderful water park. Will return soon.
Trails end Restuarant was great the food was good they give you plenty and their hostess "Shelby" was the the best she even held my daughter for me so I could get something from my diaper bag. And last month when we were there the first time we saw her hugging and trying to comfort a guest who was clearly drunk but didn't seem to speak English and was scared & that girl Shelby let her lay on her shoulder until they could figure out where the woman belonged now that is service! After witnessing that and how sweet this young girl is we will always go to trails end. See you for ski season!
Was a great family vacation! Perfect if you are looking for family oriented fun vacation.
Room was great. I was disappointed in the water park. I thought it would be bigger. I hate that I waited till 430 for the room to be ready. Overall experience was good.
Good place for the family and retreat from the city.
Kinda disappointing when half the stuff is closed and they dont tell you in advance
Loved this play. Kids had an amazing time Staff was very friendly
I wish outside guests can buy tickets for Aquatopia :(
The rule they establish that permits entering the room until 4 pm is down ridiculous. The heat that builds up in the indoor section is often unbearable and you are forced to be around the water to cool off and can't relax. Not to mention that a single bottle of water costs you over 3 dollars. You can't bring drinks into the waterpark and they do a bag check before you enter. The fact that they take advantage of this 4 pm rule and try to suck out every penny they can is ridiculous. Definitely will not be coming again.
Had lunch and drinks at the lodge after runs on the mountain. Great environment
Great family resort. Lots of activities and the accommodations we're excellent.
Lots of fun! Clean rooms, fast and smooth check in and out
Clean, friendly staff. We've been here 3 times this year & we will be back !
Had a fabulous time at the water park. Everything that we needed was easily accessible. There were lots of things to do. We kept busy. The rooms left something to be desired and were pretty dark.
The rooms are bigger than a regular hotel and very clean
I would not recommend this lodge. It is so, because when we came to the room, the sheets and covers were insanely dirty and disgusting. We had to go down and ask them to change the covers and sheets. Then, when we went to the water park, the water was FREEZING! every person came out shivering. I went to the hot tub, and normally, kids are restricted to enter the hot tub. The whole hot tub was filled with small children that were screaming and splashing. I looked in the waster and there were balls of hair floating everywhere. The lifeguards don't care about the rules. There was this black lady that came in the hot tub with beer and the life guard clearly told her that she was not allowed to enter the hot tub with drinks. The lady showed her the middle finger and left and the life guard just stood there. All the pools are filthy and the service was terrible.
We visited the resort for my daughter s birth day and we had a blast we will visit the resort again it was a great experience for the whole family
Loved Aquatopia, our room was clean, food was really good, and the pizza at Graffiti's was out of this world, thanks to Armando.
The hotel looked nice but skiing was 92 per person and snow tubing was just confusing to be allowed to do.
Social distancing was in place and I felt very safe. Even though check out was at 11, we were allowed to swim and change in the locker rooms which was awesome. If you are looking to purchase drinks outside of the facility, you must do it before 10 pm because all places are closed. In room coffee pots are not available due to covid and the room services stop at 11. The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean and spacious and the Fly Trap slide is the best!!!
#waterpark
Good time
Not as clean as I expect
Awesome facility. Will definitely return. The only major complaint was the breakfast buffet cost does not seem justified for the amount of food options available. At roughly 100 bucks for 5 people for breakfast buffet, it was what I would consider to be the only downfall. The park itself was nice, perfect temps. Plenty of things to do with the kids. The winter hours could be extended, but overall we were pretty happy. We will definitely return. Photo is of entrance to side of building with valet and parking. Will try to add a few more later.
Went for a wedding, really nice staff and great complex.
To start with, great service, friendly staff. It is located in a beautiful mountain area, with plenty of fun activities for the whole family. The room was very clean and comfortable.
This is relatively new indoor waterpark. Compared to Great wolf lodge, waterpark, restaurants, rooms, arcades are better.
Worth what a beautiful place to go with family costs
So it's been a few years since we've been here. Go to kalahari. It is clear that they are operating understaffed. 40 minutes for a bell. 30 minutes for towels. 40 minutes for blankets. The water park is dirty, rides closed. Bars closed. Construction debris pulled in corners. No attention to detail. Rabidly overpriced. Awful experience. Will not be going back.
Good atentions, good food and the bedrooms are so comfortable
Pretty good I have an great time the only the shower head bracket was missing in my room but everything else was amazing
Went snow tubing here and it was a blast. You pay around $60 per person for a 2 hour session and that gets you about 8 rides on a weekend. I presume itll be less busy during a weekday/non holiday. Awesome place and had a great time!
This is my second time staying at Camelback. The rooms are clean and spacious, staff are helpful and friendly. The water park wasn't crowded at all but I think that's because we were there during a non weekend.
They no longer allow outside food or drinks into Aquatopia, a policy that will probably keep us from coming back again as the food choices there are not the healthiest, not to mention the astronomical prices. Hot water was unavailable throughout the hotel for a few hours on one day, which was an inconvenience for me and my wife but unbearable for our kids.
Overall, it's a nice hotel, staff is friendly, water park is fun for the kids, which is what it's all about.
the arcade is so fun here!! The indoor waterpark is small but nice alternative in the winter.
I wasn't really in the mood for snow tubing but I have to say it is quite fun despite the bumps that you feel in the end:) ! My kids loved it so we are going back! Make sure to call before. Have fun
This place is horrible and expensive. We paid $650 a night for a room for 3 nights and $160 to snow tube. The lines for the snow tubing was so long and mismanaged!!!! There were NO chairs to sit at the Waterpark at all!!!!!!! We tried to call the front desk several times for things and just sat on hold for 20 each time and no one ever answered. You have to walk through the ENORMOUS resort to the front everytime you want something. Everyone working there is young and unprofessional. Our room had food splattered on the wall and there were mushy old cigarettes all over our balcony. Which by y the way was unlocked when we arrived. I have a 2 year old and am glad I checked! This place is a nightmare!
It was a great experience but during the trip while continuously riding the lazy river I got sick off the chlorine. Otherwise it was perfect.
So much fun! There is a lot of things for both kids and adults to enjoy. We really spent more time at the waterpark than expected. Snowtubing was great, too!
Returning customer every year with my daughter love it the rooms are spacious up to 4 to 6 people in a queen double suite we stayed in room 162 which we had access to a patio and love how you have your own coffee marker and microwaves and personal size refrigerators also they have some minor refreshments available which is always handy such as packets of assorted flavor jams and jellies, honey, and peanut butter packets
all you need to bring is a loaf of sliced bread and a gallon of drinking water before heading there but there's places to eat inside the resort such as Hemisphere, a breakfast/brunch buffet style is amazing specially the omelette station made to order right in front of you with friendly staff and the views of the mountains and you might spot deers and wild turkeys, it's never a boring dull moment in every stay I've been in the indoor waterpark, the video arcade room, the spa, the gym, the outdoors around the resort depending on weather, in the summer season camelbeach is open, very economical for families I gave this 4 stars because the room wasn't ready as advertised in the check in time but you precheck in and you get to enjoy the indoor waterpark that opens at 12pm but times do change look that up before you go and I'll loved to enjoy a FREE COMPLIMENTRY STAY with free breakfast buffet vouchers here ;) thanks
My children and I had a blast, the water was warm however I don't know why they had the AC on though smh Overall I reccomend to go for family fun or just a quick getaway.
So much to do. Need probably 3 days to do it all. Buffett at supper was not the best. But many more places to eat.
Camelback is still a great experience for the kids. This stay was pretty mediocre in comparison to past experiences. The hospitality was off and totally different! The outdoor activities made the experience great, it's a must! Fortunately there was a festival that was there with amazing food.
So cold but so much fun! Spent a great time with my husband and friends!
Way too expensive, not worth the price. I felt like our money would be been better spent elsewhere. We had to leave to purchase food in the nearby town.
The best indoor water park, great customer service. I love it.
Cool place kids had lots of fun. Definitely worth it.
My son and I spent Mothers Day weekend riding a variety of water slides and relaxing in the indoor/outdoor hot tub. I felt comfortable enough to try surfing for the first time here.
