Service department is absolute garbage. Booked an appointment for service and requested to be brought back to work in the shuttle. I was assured it wouldn't be a problem. Arrived to drop off my vehicle and I informed the shuttle driver and the service person that I needed to be brought back to work. The service person took way to long and the shuttle driver refused to wait for me and left. When I spoke the service manager Mike he just informed me too bad its first come first serve. I had to cancel and leave. First and last time. What happened to customer service.
Ahmad and Chop helped me purchase my first new car here! I really appreciated how they worked with me and explained the entire process. Kylee was an amazing rep and as a nervous new car buyer she made the transaction so easy! I had been car shopping at a few places and while friendly enough, you can tell when a rep is just out for the sale. Kylee definitely went above and beyond. I felt and still feel, that I was dealing with a friend. I liked that there was no pressure. Kylee believed in the product she was promoting and I think it's important to build a trust with a company that you are investing in. I wish her all the luck as she starts her own new adventure (becoming a new mom) and hope to do business with her and Cambridge Hyundai again.
I never recommend anyone to buy vehicle from this location. I bought a 5 seats sedan with these guys and when i wanted to take it back after 2 year/half cus of my 4th child born, we needed more seats so i wanted to sell it back to them, but they refused to buy it back. they said that i have to pay the loan off first then they would buy it back! The worst manager i have ever met with, he was very rude too. I had to go to Ford and sell it to them and to buy a 6 seat vehicle from Ford.
I highly recommend people to go to a different location if they want to buy Hyundai cars.

I walked into this dealership looking to lease an Elantra 2019. The salesman Izzy and finance manager Charles tried to charge me with the Administrative fees and Etching fees which are not charged by any other dealer. Please make sure none of the dealers charge these fees.
I went back home to decide and the next time i came the same dealer was not there and other dealer named puneet started helping me. He said that since He was a financing expert, dont lease a car but finance it. Throughout the meeting he was against leasing and misguiding us.
I left the place and tried coming back the third time to talk to Izzy again as he was helping me with the leasing, but they made me wait there for an hour and left me unattended and i had to go back home.
Fourth time when i came in And even after applying for the car, i was not communicated at all and not approved for the car.
They even contacted my employer to ask for my information without taking my consent.
Miserable service. Never going back. There are other hyundai dealerships and i got one Elantra for myself from one of them. Please avoid this dealership and go to others.
It was through their service that i was initially blown away by their commitment to their customers, It's a long story, but suffice it to say that everyone i have encountered at this dealership has been awesome, i have no reservations in giving Cambridge Hyundai my highest level of endorsement. My Elantra reached 60,000 KM and was due for a level 2 service (as indicated on the dash). I called Cambridge Hyundai and was told by someone in the service department (I THINK her name was Alexandra) that my car needs an oil change, tire rotation, PCV replacement and engine flush. Total cost was around $250 for what should have been just an oil change and tire rotation. I have owned several new cars now and have NEVER been told the PCV needs to be replaced. I was skeptical of this so I checked Hyundai's website and what do you know, no mention of PCV or engine flush needed. I then called two other Hyundai dealerships inquiring about what service is required at 60,000 KM and neither of them mentioned anything about replacing the PCV. I even asked if that was needed and was told by no by both dealerships.
BE VERY AWARE of these scammers. They put on a smile but will rip you off. They charged me $70 to replace a blown fuse. That was partly my fault. I was going to check the fuse myself but made the mistake of assuming my radio issue would be covered under warranty so I decided to just let them take a look because the car was going in for a different service anyways.
Never will I ever bring my car into this stealership or purchase a vehicle from them.
Worst experience , we went there on saturday and the sales manager yelled at us and stormed out . All of this happened because we wanted to buy car on monday instead of saturday. The sales guy Josh was really understanding though.
We went in expecting to purchase a used vehicle. I didn't even want to consider a new vehicle thinking it was out of our price range. Izzy took the time to give us all options and was never pushy. We ended up getting a brand new SUV that we LOVE and can afford!! He even took the time to make sure we knew how everything worked and was set up properly and even connected our phones to Bluetooth then programmed our favourite radio stations! We highly recommend Izzy at Cambridge Hyundai as my sales contact - wouldn t go anywhere else now!! He was outstanding. No slick sales gimmicks, no pressure, no attempts at manipulative ploys. Just great, accomodating service. We would give Izzy 6 stars!! His overall personality, professionalism, honesty, and respect of the customer was a total class act, he went right down to business making sure we were 100% happy and most importantly comfortable with our new purchase!!! I would have given a half star if there had an option. I bought a pre-owned 2012 Elantra from these guys in November 2017, and the selling price was $8800. I am new to Canada and it was my first car ever. So those guys forced me to buy extended warranty and road side assistance with the car, convinced me like it was necessary, I paid $2600 and $800 respectively. In addition, $500 for documentation, $125 for licensing. They used the lack of my knowledge.
So I paid $15000 in total. After two months, I involved in a collision, my car was total loss. I called for road side assistance, like 100 times. Nobody picked the call. I went to the dealer and asked to cancel my extended warranty and reimburse the money of road side assistance, as I did not get service when I was in need.I just got $8000 from my insurance company. I called Hyundai customer care, they said I am eligible for 80 percent refund of extended warranty. But this dealer does not provide it. I visited the dealer at least 20 times, faced total negligence. They confirmed that they can not help. SO, BE CAREFUL GUYS, STAY AWAY. I WOULD RECOMMEND SCHLUETER HYUNDAI IN WATERLOO. COUPLE OF MY FRIENDS BOUGHT CAR FROM THERE, GETTING GREAT SERVICE.

I was approached by salesman Andy while wandering through the yard, told him I wasn t interested in a car today, he did not lose interest and we walked around and just talked about cars. Ended up going back that day and buying a car he we talked about great person to buy from. Also had a small piece of dirt in my air condenser drain after getting annoyed trying to find it myself brought it to the dealership where Mike Lear came and met me told me he had an idea what it was and that I would be on my way in 20 mins. I told him I don t want a car service to pay for today, he told me no problem and assured me that if the problem was what he thought it was it would be no problem. Sure enough I was on my way car fixed without a dime out of my pocket. Excellent customer service would recommend to any friends or family.
Outstanding service at Cambridge Hyundai. I felt extremely accommodated and Andy and Charles made my service feel like a priority. Andy was quick to help me find the car that worked for me and was willing to fine the exact colour I wanted. Charles helped make my payments easy and less stressful. They gave me add ins to make the price seem less scary as I was buying my first brand new car. I have had an issue with this dealership for over a month, I have tried multiple times to contact owner and he can t even be bothered to call back. Their customer service is poor no follow up.
One of the best experiences at Cambridge Hyundai. The Financial Service Manager Chop was awesome. Very friendly and easy going. And accomodates me as the customer with exactly what I was looking for. The most enjoyable experiences we have had in purchasing a new vehicle.
Usually service is good but today it was an exception. Had to wait for more than 2 hours just for tire change. The service guy told me that it will take 15 mins to do the complementary car wash at the end but then after 15 mins it wasn t done and I had to skip the car wash.

A simple tire change (with rims) should NOT take 2.5+ hours.
Appointments are time slotted for a reason. If it takes 2.5+ hours for a tire swap there s is no way in hell im bringing my car back for any other service unless you guys offer beds and a god damn continental breakfast.
This is 2 Hyundai s now that have taken well over a reasonable time for service. My next car will NOT be a Hyundai at this rate.

My appointment was very short. So we called the guy and asked for a particular vehicle from their used inventory and their sales rep said they have it and asked us to come and check it out so we drove there and it took us 50 minutes(from milton to cambridge) in traffic. In the meantime that sales rep called us and asked if we are coming so we gave him our ETA. But when we reached there he said they just sold that car to different customer and tried to offer us other newer ones. I dont know whether this is lack of management or lack of communication but from this behaviour it seems like they don't care about your time. I dont know how they handle deals because we didnt reach that point but i just learnt that they dont respect other's time.

I bought a used accent with 93 000km. When I came to pick up the car at the scheduled time I waited for almost an hour before the sales Rep showed up. He then rushed me through the pickup of a car that hadn't been detailed. At 96 000km a bunch of service was due which wasn't previously mentioned so I scheduled an oil change for the scheduled mileage at which time they said I hadn't kept up with maintenance and I needed to get $700 worth of fluid changes and service. This basically would have been due a month after I bought the car but had never been mentioned to me previously.

Absolutely unimpressed!! I bought a 2020 Elantra 2 months ago, and 1 month ago I was having transmission problems and took it in )the car had less than 3000 kms on it! 2765 to be exact) I have left MULTIPLE voice mails, emails etc. Trying to find out what's going on with my car, I hear nothing back. My boyfriend went in to find out what was going on, and Tyler the service manager told him that when my new transmission(?!) Came in it would take 1-2 days because my car was on the priority list. The day after my boyfriend went in I get a call saying the part was in and when I wanted to being my car in to get the part replaced, I have no had my car since the middle of October. It has been over a week since this call and I still have not received any call saying that my car is ready to finally get picked up, two days from now they would have my car longer than I did before taking it in to get fixed.
Update: I met with Mark today, he was delightful to deal with, he turned my previously sour experience into a positive one.

He went over and above to meet our requests to view a vehicle that we though might work for us. We test drove three different vehicles to compare. I bought my 2009 Tuscon, traded in for 2016 Elantra and my wife had a 2014 Elantra and now a 2017 Elantra all from Cambridge Hyundai. The service team is excellent! Ryan, Mike and Tracy treat me like royalty and my vehicles have been kept in tip top shape over the 8 years that I have been doing business there. My cars don't go anywhere else! They take the time to explain what is needed and why. I know when I drive that my cars are safe and well maintained.
Every aspect of dealing with this specific dealership is why I`ve now purchased my second Hyundai from this dealership. in 2003 when purchasing my first this dealer set themselves apart from everyone else in the industry. Worried it would be a `new broom sweeps cleanest`I can happily report every single visit to this dealership reminded me why i chose them in the first place. Now that it was time to trade up to a new car again, I didnt think twice about where to go & where I plan on servicing it either.
My experience the second time around cements my appreciation for the entire staff at Cambridge Hyundai. They`ve made my last 5 years of ownership and service with them an excellent experience and I have no doubt this will continue on well into the future.

My aged Hyundai Elantra has gas door hinge broken due to rusty and body rusty /peeling off. AJ helped me out with minimum cost to have the new gas door replacement and body rusty fixed. His out of box thinking is from the customer stand-point. I am really happy about services in this location, which is the 1st time I went there.
Just purchased a 2016 Lexus IS350 F Sport from Cambridge Hyundai. The team here helped make this purchase nothing but hassle free and the best experience I could have asked for. Thank you to Paul, Chop, and everyone else that helped make this happen!
I have always had good experiences with the Hyundai sales team; I have purchased 2 new vehicles from this location.
Their service department, however, is in serious need of an overhaul and has left such a poor taste in my mouth that I will never do business with this dealership again.
It seems that each time a service is being booked, unnecessary up-sells are suggested without any explanation of the benefit, and frankly without any reason aside from increasing profit. When my vehicle was being booked for my 12,000km service, it was recommended I have my throttle body cleaned (extremely premature).
Now for my 30,000km service, I was told I required a brake service (removal and cleaning), alignment and PCV valve replacement; total $400+tax! I was told these items were required to maintain the warranty. Brake service has its benefit, though the only requirement is inspection. PCV valve is an inspection/replace when necessary item, alignment is not required. *TO MAINTAIN WARRANTY, YOU ONLY HAVE TO DO MAINTENANCE AS PER THE OWNER'S MANUAL*
When I asked if this was the dealership's recommendation or a requirement in the owner's manual, the representative stated she did not know. After research (reading owner's manual service section and independent research for items suggested), I am quite frankly offended at how this dealership attempts to take advantage of their customers.
I have forgone the unnecessary services and booked the services required as well as a brake service elsewhere (licensed mechanic; warranty will remain intact) for a much more reasonable price.
My sincere hope is that this review at the very least has owners question the necessity of suggested services and make informed decisions!

Terrible customer service. Mechanics should get a job at Mr. lube as that's about all they are good for. Charged to diagnose a problem only to be told it's nothing to worry about. Well just afterwards the vehicle became a brick. Went back only to be told to pay them thousands of dollars for a problem they misdiagnosed and could have been fixed for a fraction of the cost now outstanding.

I bought my car 2 years ago from this dealership, a Hyundai 2012 Accent Hatchback and was truly happy with the service I received! I bought my car from Gerry Santos who made my car buying experience so great! He is very friendly, kind, very helpful and patient! It was my first time buying a car and I was very nervous about it because I didn't know what to expect and was afraid I would be dealing with someone who would be very pushy. Gerry was far from that, he was so great and caring for what I wanted and did not pressure me at all! I decided to buy the car right after I test drove it, I just loved the car! I also was dealing with Paul Walia who was really great to deal with for the financing. He also was very friendly and helpful! He gave me great advice financially about the car but also just in financing in general and I really appreciated that.
Even 2 years later, I can go into Cambridge Hyundai and both Gerry and Paul always make a point to say hi when they see me and talk to me. That means a lot to me. My experience with this dealership has made me a customer for life, they have treated me so nicely and just been so awesome to deal with. Their customer service is fantastic! :) Due to my great experience, both my parents and my brother each have since purchased a car (2014 Tucson and 2013 Sonata Hybrid) from Cambridge Hyundai through Gerry! From the experience I have received, I definitely would recommend them! :)
I also have to say the guys in the Service Department are so great to deal with. I have been there for many oil changes for my 2012 Accent and I am very satisfied with going there. The service I have gotten from them makes it so worth it to me to keep going to them and not going elsewhere. Ryan Van Schaik is very great to deal with, so knowledgeable and very patient with my many questions I have asked him (I definitely recommend him!). Also Eric, AJ and Marcus are great to deal with, very happy with them too!

In a few minutes, a salesperson reached out to me and provided me with information, adding that I could drop by to see the car I had in mind up close. I worked with Andy, who was patient and answered my many questions. He provided with information that I could use to make an informed decision. I settled on an Elantra GT. The purchasing process was seamless. Andy updated me every step of the way. Kylee in finance facilitated the financing part, clarifying my questions. I had a great customer experience and look forward to many years with my new car.

i get the service done of my car for the very first time although i had not bought my car from this location.Still 'ACE' give his best customer service to satisfy his customer..Great customer service..i will recommend more people to come at this location.i am also looking to buy a new car from this location.
just like to say how happy i am with the service at Cambridge Hyundai especially Tyler Wheeler, so helpful in explaining issues and and what needs doing to my car going forward as the my Accent is 10 yrs old .he is very knowledgeable and personable, very calm and relaxed when explaining things
I just purchases a Hyundai accent from Gerry Santos. The service provided by Gerry was extremely professional, he was totally knowledgeable about the car that I purchased. Gerry took the time to completely go over the car with me and show me everything about the car. I would definitely recommend Gerry to anyone.

Always great service department customer care from Ryan and his team. They take the time to get to know you and your car, and are very flexible and reliable with their appointments. Also great shuttle service. They make maintenance recommendations but are not pushy. No reason not to continue servicing my car here even though the warranty has expired!
I had an appointment for 12 noon for 3 small recall items. I asked how long it would take and I was told one item (the sensor) would take 15 minutes. The other two items they had to check on. I was told I could wait in one of the two waiting areas. I told them that I would be back. My daughter would pick me up and we went to the grocery store.
I came back at 1:30 to see if my car was ready only to find out that they hadn't looked at the car. In fact they actually took my car out of the garage and it was still outside. Apparently because I decided not to wait in their facilities, they assumed that I would not be needing my car. They actually asked if I still needed my car today when I called them.
I was appalled that they could make such assumptions. I told them that I was in the parking lot waiting at this point so they finally took it in after 10 minutes of let me see how long it will be. I was then told 30 minutes it would ready. It has been 45 minutes so far and I am still waiting in the car lot. No one has called me yet.
If I could give a zero rating I would.
Update on my review. I sent you an email as requested but have not received a response back. (3 months ago) This just goes to show you how bad customer service is here. It's too bad because I love my car, just not the dealership. If I buy a Hyundai again, I will go elsewhere.
