Wish I had read all of the service reviews before changing my appointment from a different dealership and bringing my car in for an oil change appointment here. Seems service at this dealership is a total waste of time, literally.
Much like other service reviews, I had an appointment at noon, dropped my car off exactly at that time, notified I would wait inside ( with my 8month pregnant wife), it is now 1:25pm and I was notified that my car will be in shortly, that the techs were having lunch.
Although I understand we all have to eat, if you don' t have techs working at noon, don't create appointments at noon. What a complete lack of respect of your customer's time.
This never happened at my old dealership in Vaughan in the 5 years I serviced there.

The service department has been a huge disappointment since we bought our new Hyundai. During regular maintenance, they continuously failed when it came to customer service. Never on time, I literally mean NEVER able to complete service within the given time slot. Always short on staff, or some other excuse. Poor communication period. We switched service providers as soon as our warranty was finished. Went back recently for a recall and again horrible customer service... Forgot about our vechile all together, went back to pick up and was told we had to wait an additional hour! This happens way too often here at Cambridge Hyundai. Please consider another dealership before buying here. Honestly it's not worth the hassle and the frustration dealing with them.

They have gone out of their way numerous times for our family, including locating a specific car we were set on at a great price, and finding us the perfect winter tires (thanks Tyler!). Kylee in Finance helped us determine the best route forward when we had a major fire incident with our car. Listening and empathy goes a long way to help us feel better about the whole situation.

I decided to trade in my Elantra for a newer one with more options. I got told when I got to the finance guy that, since I didn't use any of the extended warranty I purchased he could transfer it over to the new car. Awesome! I didn't need to buy another extended warranty. When I received the new car I was told he had to transfer it a different way. He said that HE (not me) put the same extended warranty onto my new car and I would receive a check in the mail with the difference in cost. I agreed and off I went. I never received a check in the mail. When I inquired about it I got told, that is not their policy and nobody in the dealership would have said that. Now I am out the cost of this warranty and the kicker is, I DIDNT WANT IT! If I had been told that this wasn't possible I would have never signed off, I was under the impression that I would receive a check for the difference. Be careful what you agree to and get everything in writing.

Excellent staff, amazingly friendly, always have my best interest at heart. They consistantly recommend what is best for me and don't try to oversell me on something I don't need.
Amanda herself was a wonderful person to deal with. Not only did she help us drive away with a new car, but she listened to what we said and made the best recommendations. The main reason we bought it from her was because she didn't push us into anything. The worst feeling you get sometimes is that "pushy sales person" feeling. She was very pleasant!

In April, my husband and I bought a 2013 Accent at Cambridge Hyundai. In Amanda Rose Bodden's sales pitch, she mentioned that "the best thing about this car is that it had been fully serviced and maintained at Cambridge Hyundai so they know absolutely everything about it. She also gave us an "out the door price" explaining that it was all-inclusive.
The bold black and white statement about maintenance ultimately made us decide it wasn't necessary to take it to our preferred mechanic for a pre-purchase inspection. We purchased this car and paid in full at pick up. When doing so, we learned that the "out the door price" wasn't exactly all-inclusive and ended up owing more money for licensing. We expressed our surprise and Paul Walia came over to tell us us "well, if you don't want to pay it here, you can go to the MTO, wait in line, and pay it there," he then stormed off into his office, leaving it up to a coworker to complete the transaction.
After our negative experience, we wrote a review on Dealer Rater expressing our concerns, which got Mark Erwin's attention. He invited us to his office, unfortunately I was not present for the meeting, only my husband. Mark, not wanting a bad review, offered to bribe us with some new floor mats, which, we totally accepted, in exchange for writing a more favourable review. In doing so, we hoped that we would not have any more problems, tacking this all to a big misunderstanding.
A few months later, the engine light came on and the engine began to rattle. We took it to the Hyundai service department where we were informed that this car had NEVER been serviced at Cambridge Hyundai. This was surprising news, as the main selling point for this vehicle (as advised by Amanda) was that it had been fully serviced and maintained at Cambridge Hyundai.
I took this concern inside and talked to Severyn Wojciechowski, who politely listened to my concerns and took them, and my request for Cambridge Hyundai to perform all necessary maintenance at no cost to us, to his boss. He came back with a solid no and explanation that we took a risk when we bought a used vehicle. This is something we understood completely, but not when we were promised that the vehicle had been well maintained and completely serviced.
Next, an angry man stormed out and asked to interject without introducing himself. I asked who he was and learned that it was Mark Erwin. He gave the same spiel as Severyn, dismissing my actual concern. He said that we must have interpreted what Amanda said incorrectly, as his interpretation was that "all service and maintenance" meant oil changes, of which a couple were done at the dealership. Therefore, according to Mark, A FEW OIL CHANGES equated to ALL SERVICE AND MAINTENANCE on a 4 year old vehicle.
I gave them one last chance to rectify the situation to which Mark replied that he would not be doing anything about my concerns.
We're disheartened with the car that we bought, and displeased with the customer service provided by Cambridge Hyundai employees. If you're going to buy a car in general, make sure that you have a full cost breakdown included prior to signing anything, otherwise, you might be in for an unpleasant surprise as we were. We strongly suggest that if you're interested in a Hyundai, make sure that statements made by sales staff match the service department records, or deal with a different dealership entirely.
We will not be giving any more business to Cambridge Hyundai in any capacity and we will strongly discourage our friends and family from doing so either. Mark Erwin and his sales staff seem to be very motivated to sell cars, but buyer beware, it might not be what they promised!!!
Also, someone from Cambridge Hyundai responded to our dealer rater review (which they won't post publicly as they say it's a duplicate...) in the most unprofessional manner, attempting to publicly shame us and discredit our review.

Always a great experience at the dealers. After the reno that was done, the place looks amazing. At times the wait times for tire change/service is long, but usually it's a sufficient time. Especially sanitary and clean this time around with COVID - chairs always sanitized after it had been used, floors clean (saw an associate pick up garbage off the floor and didn't think twice!), the atmosphere was bright and vibrant which was visually appealing. Today October 7th I was driving from Windsor to Cambridge when half way all the instruments went out on my dash and when I put my Sate Fe in park it would not come out of park, It was locked. This happened a few months ago in Windsor so I knew how to unlock it. I drove into the Cambridge Hyundai dealership and met with David in the service department. I was very angry as this was the second time this happened to me in a few months and the dealership in Windsor had my car for 1 week and said it was a pinched wire. I do a lot of traveling far from home. David calmed me down and within 15 minutes I was on my way. David was very professional and stayed beyond his shift to get me back on the road.

I made my appointment to swap tires from winter to summer, and grease up my squeaking doors. I also got the shuttle home and back to the dealership. My problems with this was- the shuttle driver was not a very competent driver, who almost caused an accident by not getting over for a fire truck behind us and then when she did get over she basically rammed so close to another car. While I was waiting for my phone call to come back for my car, they told me that my car needed up to $800 in other repairs, and even if this were true, I said not today thanks. The worker continued to argue with me, saying it s concerning if I don t get some of these services done but like I told him, not today, I don t have the money. It doesn t matter if I need it if I can t afford it today. So this man would not let me hang up until I agreed to do one of the services which costed me $200 more than I wanted to pay that day. I felt bullied and embarrassed. When you say no, it s no. The customer is ALWAYS right. Poor, poor customer support.

He was patient with us, explained everything we needed to know about the process and was happy to make sure the car we test drove was disinfected before we got in. Had a terrific professional experience yesterday morning while waiting for my oil change here at Cambridge Hyundai .I dealt with Adam Perry , as soon as I entered the service bay and got out , I explained to Adam I couldn't wear a mask , due to health reasons and I was going to wait outside till my car was ready .Adam came out to see if I wanted a wash , and also brought debit machine out for me to pay .Adam went over and above for me during these times and was very appreciative to his service .Thank you once again Cambridge Hyundai and particular Adam Perry .

The service was fine, but: it's my husband's car and my first service on it. I was asked what kind of oil I want- i asked the same like in previous times- and the representative told that we didn't change this oil - so I asked the recommended one
After I checked previous invoices I've seen another oil, and "oil changing" was 2 times less! Every time!
We called to the service, and the representative told, that I asked for the best oil and he cannot see the history of services (he didn't say this to me, he just said that we didn't change this oil!!)
And I was told that I need to change breaks (30,000 km) and I needed to do it on a previous service!!
But on a previous service breaks were fine!
Just because of I am a woman they tried to sell me the service I don't need? Really? Very very disappointed

I have always received the best service at Cambridge Hyundai. The staff is really nice and very informative, they were able to answer any questions I had and provided great service. Everyone in the building was smiling which shows they have a good working environment. Had a chance to speak with Mark who is the Owner and he was extremely helpful and easy to speak to. Would recommend this location to anyone looking to purchase a new vehicle. You can tell its a "family like" atmosphere as in the team works really well together. Highly recommend checking them out if your shopping for a new car.

Set up a appointment with Hyundai after receiving a recall letter in the mail for my Santa fe so I set up a oil change as well. I get to Hyundai and was told the recall doesnt affect my year of vehicle, so I said I had a recall letter at home. They assured me it wasnt included in the recall even though my appointment WAS FOR THE RECALL. I went ahead with the oil change which took 2 hours to complete. Called about the recall letter after I got home to prove I had a recall letter and was told I need to come in and prove I got a recall letter to proceed with the recall. HOW do you not have something on file about the letter I received.

I myself have gotten 2 cars from this dealership and could not be happier, walking in i was not looking for a vehicle i was only with a friend to look around, that being said i talked to Izzy and he helped me alot more than i had expected, first car i got was a 2018 Hyundai elantra, the features didn't have everything I wanted but due to my credit I wasn't able to get exactly what I wanted but I was still happy, Izzy and Chop told me wait a year don't miss a payment and I will help you as much as I can, they both 100% did exactly what they said they where going to do, a year later I walked in went up to Izzy and had said to him "this is what I want, can you help me?" His reply was even better, "give me 2 minutes i will be back" moral of the story I traded in my 2018 and got the brand new 2019 Hyundai Elantra sport 1.6 L turbo, 6 speed manual transmission, the sunroof that I wanted and much more, these men do wonders and believe me when i say this "they will not let you down" thank you IZZY and CHOP.

I recently had to make a trip to the parts department to fix my old Hyundai Tucson. It was my first visit to this dealership and I was pleasantly surprised. The parts manager David was a huge help getting me the parts that I needed to repair my radiator. He really went above and beyond and was able tot my part the next day for me. I purchased my current vehicle from them and the shopping experience at this store was better than the experience I had at other dealerships. Beyond that, I've brought my car in twice already to be serviced and the service department at this store was phenomenal in my experience. They are accommodating and mindful. I had gotten used to having to clean my car after taking it to a shop, they always left tar on the steering wheels. Not at the Cambridge Hyundai, I've had them actually clean my mats because they had a bit of extra time after working on my vehicle. I can't recommend them enough.

We were looking for a year-old used car and their pricing was at least $2,000-$3,000 more for the exact same car all of the dealerships in the Toronto area carry - same year, mileage, and condition. Seemed like a giant waste of money to not drive 50 mins and save $3,000. They tack on a 500$ admin fee here as well.
The sales representative we dealt with, Gerry was great though. Easy to talk to, knew his stuff and very polite.
Cambridge Hyundai also offered us 50% less on our trade-in than all four other places we went to did. We wound up purchasing locally at Mark Wilson's Better Used Cars in Guelph who matched the Toronto area pricing, paid the higher trade-in value, threw in a bunch of services for free, and didn't charge us any admin fees. All-in we got the same vehicle for $4300 less.

Just bought a hyundai santa fe from this dealership and i did have great service from my sales rep greg. This was my first purchase of a brand new car and it was a big decision and he was very patient with me and answered every question i had. The only complaint i have was with the finacial manager.. extremely unorganized and didnt answer my questions i had about the pricing before signing. I felt very rushed and considering this is a huge purchase i would have like having all my questions answered. After i left his office to pick up my car.. we were about to walk out and i realized i didnt get ANY paper work from the finacial manager including my bill of sale AND my actual ownership of the new vehicle. He insisted he gave me the ownership and we showed him all the papers we had to prove him wrong then he finally went back to look for it. For someone who deals with all the paperwork of such a big purchase for people maybe a little more organizition would be helpful...
