I purchased a 2016 Hyundai Tucson two years ago from Ezel when he worked at the Kitchener location. He is definitely the best sales consultant I have ever dealt with. On the first day of meeting Ezel he took his time showing me the Tucson and helping me find a car that I will be in love with. He gave me his cellphone number so that if I had any questions I would be able to easily reach him. He was so patient with me as it took me two months to make up my mind and purchase a car from him and was even more patient when I finally called him and said I needed him to find me a car ASAP. He kept me in the loop to try to get me the best deal possible. Ezel truly cares about his clients and is always looking out for their best interest. Even two years after purchasing my vehicle I continue to reach out to Ezel when I have questions because I know I can trust him and know that he will always look out for my best interest.
That is why I reached out to him today when I had a concern about break servicing for my car. He responded very quickly, made sure I was heard and handled the problem for me. It relieved a lot of stress from me. I will be taking my car to Cambridge Hyundai for servicing because of Ezel's continued support and help in a stressful situation!

Ezel originally sold me my first car at Kitchener Hyundai. This year I decided I wanted something smaller than my SUV, I wanted a smaller car. So I followed Ezel to Cambridge Hyundai in search for a new car. Ezel listened to what I wanted and what I needed to fit my current lifestyle. He found me a great selection of cars to test drive and found the perfect car for me! A few weeks ago I traded in my SUV and bought a 2016 Elantra GT and I am in love! I love that he worked so hard to find exactly what I wanted. We were having engine troubles on the 401 and managed to get our Sante Fe to the dealership in Kitchener...they offered no real solution to our problem.We left and drove to the Cambridge dealership and met the most helpful staff.Not only did they offer up a courtesy car so we could continue on our way,Tyler brought the car in and put snow tires on it because we were travelling further north and he thought we might run into some more bad weather.Tyler even gave my grandson a Monster truck toy for the ride !!!! BRAVO HYUNDAI CAMBRIDGE 5 STAR SERVICE !!!! How can 2 dealerships 10 min apart be so different ????
Let me just start by saying that overall, I love my car. Hyundai has come a long way since the 1990s.
The Purchase
I came in knowing what I wanted and I thought I got it all when I purchased the vehicle.. however, to my surprise, the dealer did not install the aftermarket Android Auto navigation unit as per my agreement. I paid $2500 extra for this and did not receive it. I did not realize this until a week after I picked up the car. I tried to find the Android Auto option but it did not exist. I contacted the dealer and was told they didn't install it because they couldn't guarantee that it would work with the steering wheel control (but they sold it to me anyways). This is extremely unethical and I was not impressed. I requested it be installed as per the agreement but they convinced me otherwise as I didn't want a new car with faulty controls. I reluctantly agreed to have the traffic module installed instead (does not work as good as Android Auto would have) so that I at least get some of the same functionality but all the steering controls. It would have been nice had I been compensated the difference between the units.
Service
The service department is atrocious. Everytime I booked an oil change, they'd add other items onto the work order without telling me. I had to ask before every oil change if they added something and every time there was something that was "needed". I did not appreciate this underhanded tactic. Due to this, I took my car elsewhere for service as I don't trust them.

I've had my vehicle for around 3 years now, and have only had one good experience with this dealership when I dealt with the sales manager. Recently just called in to book an appointment for service and the lady I spoke to in service seemed very frustrated and irritated by my questions.
Every time I go in for an oil change they are always trying to upsell me on service that isn't needed, I understand that's a part of the business but on every visit is excessive, and the reps make you feel like your car is going to fall apart if you don't get it.
Haven't looked into if it's possible but If I could I would change service locations.
Excellent attendance both from Mary Young in showing me the options in by a new Elantra, the accessories, the warranty, etc. , and from Tyler Moyes in driving the car with me and explain how everything works, the radio/CD, the cruise control, the gear, the Bluetooth. They made my buying experience very easy and enjoyable. Thanks a lot.
Was walking through the LOT one day and Izzy ensured all of my questions were answered.. offered me a drink, test drive . Made sure he remembered my name and everything I was looking for. Haven't got a new car yet but If i do I definitely wont forget IZZY!
I have had great customer service here, above and beyond. I bought a used Elantra and they've helped with inspecting it, warranty work and even gave me an extra car manual they had at no charge. Highly recommend the service department.
Cambridge Hyundai made getting a new car a real pleasure. Was looking for an Elantra GL. Charles was excellent...answered all our questions...wasn't in the least pushy. Kylee explained all about leasing and had all the answers. When I picked the vehicle up wife was ill and couldn't come. Kylee once again explained everything and gave me the paperwork to take home for the wife sign. Charles showed all the features on the vehicle and, once again answered all questions. Also he saved us a trip from Kitchener to Cambridge by coming to our house to collect the paperwork the wife signed. I'll definitely be a repeat customer.

Service department is good but beware as they will try to get you to do service at frequencies higher than what is stated in your manual. Read your manual so you know the manufactures service requirements.
If buying a new car and you have a trade in get competitive quotes as they may low ball your trade in value. I got twice as much at another dealership.
Went to Cambridge Hyundai to purchase my 3rd car from them. Ask for Gerry! He was very helpful from the start of the process to the time I drove my new car off their lot. Wonderful service! I would like to also mention that Puneet Chopra (Finance Manager) made financing a breeze. He went the extra mile to get me the best options available. With all that said my experience was better than I had anticipated...thanks guys!
I get the feeling that they suggest repairs or procedures that aren't crucial.
They are terible, they will rip you off in document fee. Be very careful before signing any document with them. They told me wrong info and got me signed for their document, they silently pit documentation fee of 500 $ in my car price, my mistake I didn't saw the invoice and signed it. The sales man told me the car is 2012 model but on documents it was 2011. Please be very careful in signing the stuff with them. They dont have Canadian Motor Vehicle Arbitration Plan, so you have no right to put complaint against them to any govt agency.
Service department will give you a constant run-around for warranty work and never communicate

Absolutely deserved a 5 star rating! Cambridge Hyundai left us a once in a lifetime experience in car shopping! The manager Andy was very prompt in responding to online communication. The sales advisor, Gerry Santos was very helpful so as the Financial Service Manager, Chop was absolutely amazing! We never thought that car shopping during this Covid crisis would be that hassle free. Overall, I highly recommend this dealership. Hands down, amazing customer service! We are shopping nowhere else in the future but CAMBRIDGE HYUNDAI!
Inaccurate listing, failure to disclose issues, so many problems since purchase. Contacted them by email, would hear back almost instantly before I actually purchased. But now that they have their money and I am having problems, it has been almost a week and I have not yet heard back from them. Will not be purchasing from them again and will spread the word to everyone I know. So very disappointed. It's too bad, their service started out to be amazing, but is terrible now at the point where it matters most! Terrible :(. If you take the time to read...the owner only commented and thanked the positive reviews and gave zero feedback to the negative ones, where it actually counts!!! What does that tell you!?!?

The sales process was great. It s my second vehicle with them. I am extremely disappointed in the service. I have a technical issue with my vehicle still under warranty and they basically keep ignoring me. They have not once called back when they said they would.
I guess I will have to live with my seat belt light dinging every time I plug my phone in.

On Monday, January 27th, I went to Cambridge Hyundai for an oil change and maintenance service on my vehicle. Justin was my Service Advisor and went over the maintenance scheduled. Shortly after he came to me and mentioned that their records showed I hadn't completed a major maintenance service that should have been done a while ago and he wanted to bring it to my attention. I told him I'm sure I had as I complete any service that is recommended.
He took it upon himself to go through all my service records and check off what I had and hadn't completed since I purchased the vehicle and reviewed it with me. I told him I would check my records at home as it didn't make sense to me (I assumed that one of my service records just didn't get entered).
Justin then followed up with me the following day to see if I'd had a chance to check my records. I told him what my records showed for that particular km service, but it was different and less extensive than he had shown me.
He followed up with me this morning with a recommended maintenance schedule and not only listed the maintenance items, but explained the purpose of each.
I'm very thankful to Justin for following up with me as the maintenance I missed is much needed to keep my vehicle in great condition. Great Job Justin & Cambridge Hyundai for empowering Justin to ensure he has happy customers.

how many times does a person have to call to get a return call? why ask to leave a message if you have no intentions to call back. its so frustration to deal with this dealership. they force me to drive across town because of their inability to call a person back. you have perfected the art of suggesting more work than is needed now time to learn how to call people back.
Went in for an oil change and check noise in front end (my guess was the wheel bearing), service advisor came back saying I need new brakes all around (just replaced brakes less than a year ago), a tie rod, new tires and an alignment. Took my car to my licensed mechanic (also friend) and turned out just the wheel bearing in the front passenger side needed to be replaced. Replaced it and problem was solved. I will NEVER come here again.

Our most recent poor experiences with both sales and service at Cambridge Hyundai have caused us to abandon any further dealings with this organization and Hyundai products. The service department were willing to remedy there own mistakes only when I took them to task. Since our poor experiences with Hyundai, my wife and I have purchased two new vehicles from another manufacturer who treated us with respect and appreciation.

Booked a service on my car three weeks in advance, appointment was for 9am, was there 15min ahead of schedule. I was asked by the service lady would I be waiting with my car and I suggested that I would go grocery shopping while it was being serviced, expecting that it will be ready in an hour and a half like she told me.
She had two cell numbers to call when it was ready. We got a call from the service lady and she informed me that the car was not worked on yet and she will try and get it in as soon as possible. When I mentioned that I had a 9am appointment pre-booked, she told me that customers who wait while there car is been serviced get priority. This is to me, very poor customer service, what is the point of making an appointment and pre booking for service.

Staff is nice when you are there. But they don't hold there word or call you back. Was in on the 30th of May they didn't have a part told me they would have to order it and they would call me when it came in. They never called and I spent two weeks trying to get a hold of them. It wasn't till I threaten to just come in they finally called me. Still did not be accountable for the lack of service. It's frustrating cause you need to get service but it's like pulling teeth.
I was there on Dec 11th and the team was phenomenal. Superb service, it took longer than they expected, but they made it right. I would highly recommend them!

I had a very enjoyable experience at Cambridge Hyundai! I've had a 2007 Santa Fe for 6+ years and was ready for an update. I was greeted in a friendly manner when I arrived; the whole team was very personable. Gerry was outstanding to work with: he really knows the stock, was very informative, and matched my enthusiasm during test drives. I also worked with Andy and Ahmad who guided me through the paperwork; they were also great to work with and made the seemingly tedious process painless. When I arrived to pick-up my new Tucson, the team was ready for me and were almost as excited as I was. This dealership was the worst experience . Sales man took advantage of a girl looking to buy a car and unfortunately I got taken advantage of . I will never recommend hyundai , they sold me a car that was in an accident and never informed of the history. I decided to trade my car today and went to a different dealership and found out only that the hyundai sonata that I purchased was in an accident to the year prior I purchased it . Plus all the RECALLS that came with was INSANE!!

I had an absolutely amazing experience purchasing my vehicle at the Cambridge Hyundai. I recently had a terrible, sexist experience at a nearby dealership, and was feeling very hesitant when I arrived to Hyundai. That quickly changed as Sidney, Ahmad and Mark treated me with kindness, patience, and respect. As this was my first time purchasing a vehicle, they answered all of my questions, and let me know that they would only feel good making a sale if I felt good about it. They didn't want me to feel any pressure or obligation, or attempt to push any products. They were extremely transparent. The staff even offered to drive me back and forth from the dealership to my home (only if I felt comfortable) while I waited for my new vehicle to arrive. I would highly, highly recommend the Cambridge Hyundai to anyone who supports gender, age and racial equity. I love my new vehicle and am so glad I was able to purchase it from such an amazing dealership.
Excessively high markups on used vehicles. Refused to negotiate price on a vehicle that clearly had damage on all four sides. Not worth my business.
