I really enjoy visting the CSC. I watched the 3D Dog movie and enjoyed it. To my surprise the price I paid included the Dog Exhibit which was very well done. My only thought is yhat the dog breeds represented were all pure breeds and focused on specific breeds in both the movie and exhibit. Should do more for other breeds + the mixed pups who are very intelligent and loyal too. More to promote adoption, spaying neutering...

I've been coming here since I was 8 years old. It's a fun and informative place. Also it's free! They recently updated the food center with other restaurants and the pricing isn't too bad. My favorite section is the ecosystem. Try visiting on a weekday because on the weekends it's packed with children and personally I'm not a fan of big crowds.

Went to the King Tut Exhibit. LA Rams took out the Dallas Cowboys the following evening (2019) across the little street in the same complex. Space shuttle & several tiny space "pods" where humans sat while going into space & landing in the "pond" were on display. Imax (scientific) was there.

The California Science Center was a great day trip for myself and my boys. They enjoyed seeing the Endeavor exhibit, the mini Hurricane rooms and also the many hands on parts of the museum. Entrance is free so that was a huge plus. We didn't do any of the IMAX or other paid activities this visit so I can't rate them.

My husband's job got rained out so we took the opportunity to see this exhibit. It was the 10:30 show on a Thursday morning and it was absolutely mobbed -- and I mean MOBBED -- with hordes of school kids. I'm talking no room to move, and I'm not kidding. The space is way too small for the number of bodies they allowed in there, not to mention the groups of kids sitting cross-legged on the floor right in front of the displays with no one telling them to get up and move on. It's really kind of disgusting how little respect the museum has for their paying patrons. And it's not exactly cheap at $30 per adult ticket, $2 service charge per ticket online, and $12 parking. They should be ashamed. The exhibit itself was worthwhile although the lighting was poor. I'm glad I saw it but I will definitely think twice about going to any other exhibit there.

Very interesting especially for children. In my opinion the highlight is Endeavor. There are also temporary exhibitions, on the day of my visit there was one about canine psychology, excellent.

I enjoyed it even without the sarcophagus and death mask which I knew were not on exhibit. Got the combo package with IMAX movie. The audio tour is worth the extra fee and I will agree with others that it was very crowded around the items at times and personally I moved to items with less viewers and then went back to the others as the crowd dispersed a little. Just in awe to be in the presence of these items that are 3,000 years old and the craftsmanship is just unreal!! The only disappointment was the gift shop goods. The books are the best buy. I collect shot glasses but I could not bring myself to the buy one because the quality was so poor and they don't even have the event description on them! I wound up picking up a coffee mug but it took me a while to find a decent one.

A great place for children to explore, learn and have a great place, with all the interactive shows. This place makes learning so enjoyable, and I'm not talking about just for kids. Shuttle Force is the kind to see just a donation of $ 2 !! Definitely worth coming here when in Los Angeles with or without children. Best of all admission is free for their regular exhibitions. Parking is 12 $

Mothers Day exposition lol. The exhibit was really good. Just make sure to be there on time. There is so much to see and so many people, that it takes time to be able to get close enough to really see the treasures or read the info. If you're in a wheelchair, it takes a little longer to get close enough to see. The Science Center also has free wheelchairs. If you need one make sure you get there early because its first come first serve. They don't allow you to reserve one, and they only have 7 available. We were lucky to get the last one.

This place was awesome. Watched a 3d movies about Superpower Dogs . Really amazing how much dogs and other animals do for people. Great place to take the family. Parking cost $12 but since museum was free worth every penny!

OK. The space shuttle and ET-94 and separated from admission and you have to pay an extra 2 dollars per person. And, the temporary exhibit, (currently its bodyworks pulse) costs a separate 20 dollars as well.

Great interactive science museum. Definitely worth the visit and it's free. Very relaxed atmosphere and a great place for kids especially those interested in science and astronomy. Parking is easy.

I love this place. Great for kids. Educational. 3 stories of interactive science exhibits! Plenty of fun for all ages. I'd say up to like 0 years to 9 - 11 max years old would enjoy it here.
They have a food court inside.
Admission is free**
Parking is $12 cash only**
Some exhibits cost between $3-$10 but there's so much to do that's free it kinda feels unnecessary, honestly.
They have a gift shop.
This place is huge! We loved the aquarium the best. Absolutely beautiful. And they have a touch tank with starfish and what not.
Lots of fun. It was kept really clean. They have elevators and escalators and stairs.
Small kids play areas. Live plants exhibits.
Certainly worth a visit. Open until 5 on Sundays.

It is a wonderful museum. I went to see KING TUT. The contents, quantity and quality of the exhibition were wonderful. Except for special exhibitions, there are free days to enter, so you can see the exhibition contents at a reasonable price. The food court is wide and bright and recommended.

Love it

Wide-ranging variety of exhibits, all well-maintained, are secondary here to the draw of Space Shuttle Endeavour. Plenty of great things to see though the place can draw quite the crowd. The simulators are cool & worth the extra charge!
