One star for the staff that stole/lost my girlfriends beanie. It was dropped and an employee who found it had it in hand but said she could not give it to us directly. We were instructed to pick it up at the front desk. After a short walk we were informed the beanie had "disappeared" had a lengthy conversation with multiple staff with no luck. Then told we could email lost and found. Emailed lost and found next business day and were told that no such item was in their possession.

I love coming here! Not only is the science center free but they also have paid exhibits. We went to the King Tut exhibit which was great. Get ready to stand in lines and walk up and down stairs. The first part of the exhibit begins on the third floor and the second part of the exhibit is on the first floor. It takes a while because there are so many people there but it is still nice to visit. I know they extended the exhibit until January 13, 2019.
We bought our tickets at the box office. We got there ar ok under 11:30am and our entrance for the movie was at 3pm and the entrance to the exhibit 4:15pm. The movie is not essential but it is a nice addition. You can park at the science center parking lot that will cost you $12. We parked at a meter to buy the tickets and then when we came back we found a four hour meter and we parked there. Just depends on what is more convenient for you.
They let you take picture but without flash. No pictures or film while watching the movie.

Great gift shop. The exhibits have a wide variety. I felt I rushed myself, but every single thing there is worth spending time doing. The flight simulator was just the best part. The drunk driving simulator was just as fun as I remembered from 10 years ago. Now that I think about it most things haven't changed in awhile... Maybe some updates would be nice, or maybe the center is for repeat visitors who got for the limited time exhibits. Make sure everyone you know goes here.

Excellent place. So many well thought out exhibits and displays, the aquarium and desert exhibitions should be considered on a national scale - just fantastic. So much to see and the high point is obviously the Shuttle Endeavour. Shame the food concessions now are diabolical. The newly arrived pile of taco stands outside is an indication the museum made a wrong decision with the replacement for McDonalds - they may be the great satan of hamburgers, but people know they ain't gonna get ripped off unlike the new arty-farty commercial catering contractor now on site.

I always love coming here, whether it be for a little while or a lot of time. Theres always something new to encounter and learn. Amazing this place. And the best part, its almost all free! And with three kiddos, it's always good to find free things to do in LA

Awesome place for scientific learning. Most of the exhibits are geared more towards kids but there is enough to engage anyone. The space shuttle Endeavour exhibit is amazing and shows the scale of the spacecraft.

Great

Love this museum but must complain that the staff at the grill (dinning) are very rude and unprofessional. Went to the museum I ordered our food and the gentleman (byron) taking our order "misunderstood" or maybe wasnt paying attention to the order. Point is we were missing our drink I went to clarify to what he had done and charge me for one thing and didnt give me the combo. So I was trying to figure out whether to pay a drink or if he made the mistake. But before I could even explain that I could pay for it if maybe he didnt charge me he got all defensive and gave us attitude. He gave us our drink and then we can see that he was talking about us to the staff members like if it was our fault that HE didnt take the order correctly

Good place to spend the day. Parking is $12 but admission is free. If you buy I Max for $8 or $9 you also get the Space Shuttle which is worth the price. Lots of stuff to see and interact with. Kids and adults like it. Airplanes and space stuff.

Just an amazing place for science (and specially space) enthusiasts. Some of the volunteers are pretty good at their job and you can get a lot from talking to them! Really enjoyed my experience here!
