The parking was adequate, the architectural structure was really fascinating. It seems well-organized

The Endeavor is the highlight - an amazing tribute to human achievement.
Awesome place to explore. Attractions are extra but the hands on exhibits are fun. Their well trained staff are knowledgeable. Defiantly a must see.
You can never get enough satisfaction by spending $0
I finally got to go see The Panda's at the IMAX, looked & sounded amazing! I just wanted it to be a bit longer! Then we got go in with a donation to see Endeavour which is alway's Fricken Awesome!
The close-up view of space artifacts such as the Endeuvor is impressive
Considering this place is free it really is a great museum. We only had to pay $2 to see the space shuttle, and the IMAX and speciality exhibits (traveling exhibits, right now it's King Tut's Tomb) are extra. Myself and my adult sister easily spent about 2 hours here, so I would assume with kids you could be here quite a while. Many exhibits were showing their age though or were closed, so that was a bummer. Overall, definitely worth going to! DON'T FORGET THAT PARKING IS CASH ONLY! You also pay as you go in, not after! So don't make the mistake we did thinking we could park, find an ATM, and pay as we left. We took a traffic packed trip to a Chase bank nearby to get out cash, which was no fun!
We are annual pass holders, great place to spend a weekend day with the family.
You can get so much knowledge and fun at the same time. It is awesome!
Love the vibe ! So inspiring and so much to learn .. don t miss the iMax movie
It's been years since I've been here! It's still amazing! Some of the "exhibits " were broken from over use but it looked like they were slowing fixing as much as they could.
While the interactive exhibits at the California Science Centre provide a unique and engaging way for children to learn about science, visitors of all ages will find the many artefacts and displays interesting.
The main draw is the Mission 26: The Big Endeavour exhibit that houses the Space Shuttle Endeavour. Here, you ll see many items and gain knowledge of the mission and the people who made it possible.
During your visit, you ll also see exhibits focusing on technology, nature, and inventions. An Ecosystems exhibit displays a large tank with various marine creatures and plants.
While many of the exhibits are permanent, a number of special exhibitions are on display at various times throughout the year, and an IMAX theatre is on site.
Beautiful, informative, inspiring and full of poorly behaved school kids on field trips.
Great place for the kids to explore and learn new things.
We went to see King Tut, Imax movie and Endeavour space shuttle. There was a lot to see in the area. It was a little confusing where to park. I'm not familiar with LA. It was still very crowded. Lots to see. Very clean. Lots of souvenir shopping available. There is sea life, Nasa and many other exhibits. An all day experience.
Second time this year taking the kids. Never gets boring.
What more can you ask for. Free science center inspiring the next generation of scientist and engineers.
This is one of the best Science Centers I have been to. King Tut was sold out but seeing the space shuttle Endeavour was AWESOME! Great exhibits all around.
Fantastic place to spend your weekend! Very nice King Tut exhibit.
Nice and fun for kids. Parking was $ 12 and entrance is free. There are some toys inside 8-10-10 dollars. There is a pizzeria and a coffee restaurant.
Great place to visit, have to have cash for parking..
The Endeavor demonstration is kind of a let down. I'm sure I'll be more impressed in the coming years when they finish the exhibit, but right now all you get to look at it's the bottom of the orbiter.
This place is such a great place to bring the kids for a learning experience in many different ways. I brought my 4 year old and 2year old. They were both very interested in everything. We spent about an hour and a half here, although if you have older kids you'll probably spend WAY more time here. Lol just because my little ones don't have a great attention span yet. The best part is it's FREE! you only have to pay for parking which was $12 on a Friday. Must go if you're in a LA.
fun place to spend the day with kids or just to get away!!
Endeavor access is $3 but definitely worth it, the cherry on the top for this fun and interacting museum
It was fun and I would go again with my friends and family.
Great place to spend with the family at no cost, awesome!
Amazing fun, free (but takes donations which I highly recommend) pack a lunch though the food court is super expensive now.
Took 70+ kids to museum and student enjoying museum same as any other visitor were were treated disrespectful and as criminals! Kids with parents, not with our party had children running and screaming sand shopping on their own but our kids were hassled and treated unfairly! Our students will not return on my watch and will encourage others to follow suit!
Sooooooo expensive and they don't tell you that there are bands playing in the quiet reflective panoramas..so very loud..so very disappointed to not have full access and the cost was not reduced or people made aware so they could decide enter and pay the very high fee
A great educational experience. There is always something new to discover especially when you are with the little ones. Some of the exhibits are now a bit outdated; but this museum still brings in the crowds.
Interesting. Lots to explore. Experience different sea creatures, desert life and more. Something worth experiencing at least once. Don't miss the earthquake area fun.
You should spend at least 1 day all in there it's amazing.
Great place for kids to explore. Free entrance, however you have to pay for IMAX theater. Endeavour is free however if you want donate $1.
The Endeavor is great! Can't wait until they mate it to the External Tank and Solid Rocket Boosters!
If your a child or a adult everybody has fun. There is something for everybody.
Exhibits are aging. Good to spend an afternoon with kids
Great place to learn about science with the kids. :)
Big place to explore and expand your mind!
The highlights were Endeavor and the other interesting aerospace-related exhibits to see the human advancements in space exploration.
The Ecosystem exhibit was also very interactive and it was beautiful to see the different marine wildlife of Southern California.
There were some outdated exhibits but overall worth exploring!
Expensive, parking expensive, take about $100.00 per adult. To get everything plus food and fun.
A VERY FUN and educating place for adults and kids to learn about science. The Endeavor is a must see experience!
A brilliant collection of varied topics. The Kelp forest aquarium, the screening about the Big Endeavour and some of the models being displayed are a must watch.
Always a wonderful time! We always visit during the summer because it's a great way to keep the kids engaged in education while having fun too. Plus it's free, though you will have to pay for parking. The parking lot between the Coliseum and the Natural History Museum is no longer there (doing some kind of construction).
This time we paid for the King Tut exhibit and IMAX. I got the tickets in advance online (recommended) and spent about $160 for a group of 5. Please go see it before it's gone...it is well worth the money.
Note: The famous "death mask" is not on display, but it's still very well worth the money as there are TONS of other breathtaking artifacts to be seen and learned about.
Love this place there never seems to be enough time to see it all. Sad by good at the same time because we get to come back another day.
Amazing interactive experiences! It was fun and educational for me and my boyfriend as a date (in our twenties). Another day I brought my 4 year old nanny kid and he had a blast as well! They have all kinds of interactive exhibits. Some of my favorites were the ice wall, the incubating chicks (one was hatching while we were there), the ball example on how different species get onto the island, the desert flash flood simulation, and the touching sea creatures tide pool. There are much more but you have to see for yourself :) Some of the attractions were broken but for free you can't beat it! Just remember to bring cash for parking.
A weekend two-three hour free visit for adults. Kids would love this place. I think this place is more for kids. The staff/volunteers give hands on, interactive experiments for kids. A large creative space for kids. An entire day can be spend with kids here.
Lots of greatly exhibits. Great for kids. However, many of the exhibits didn't work (were broken). This was disappointing.
Love this place, too much to see in a day. Catch King Tut before it's gone for another 40 years!
We came here today to visit the King Tut exhibition and it was amazing! We enjoyed seeing all of the artifacts on display and the descriptions were excellent. They've done a great job of controlling the crowds with the times. Kudos to the management for the system! Glad we saw it before it left LA! The shuttle Endeavor was really awesome to see and grateful that we have it here. The information on space travel in the shuttle was very good and the exhibits were well displayed. The remaining parts of the center were just ok and need some updating. There are ecosystems and some fish and reptiles. There is a lot of potential here to expand this to house some Exploritorium style exhibits and more fun stuff to the overall experience. Bathrooms were not stocked with toilet paper or paper towels. It was confusing to get around as well. Food is actually very good and there is ample seating. Really had a nice day and will be back to bring the kids someday!
We did not save enough time for this place! The best part was the real space shuttle.
Take the kids, great on the weekends but can get pricey.
CSC is cool but very, very dirty--atrocious restrooms, filthy exhibits, and run down. Needs better security--anyone can walk in.
It was pretty cool and there are other museums and the rose park nearby as well. But the best exhibits require a ticket and parking is 12$ so it's not exactly free. But it is good inspiration for kids if they have a science project.
Love it here, used to come everyday when there's nothing to do, there's always something new ,my favorite is the aquarium
Great exhibits, Imax, Natural History Museum..
So much good stuff
