Great day, saw the actual space shuttle. Just wish there was a way like a walkway you could look down into, or walk thru it. Or even a second floor area to take photos of. Only had time for this building as it takes hours to go thru. The garden is beautiful too.

A+++

This was 3rd time visiting, but my fiance's first time. The Eco-systems exhibits were informative and informative. Loved the sea life.
Seeing the center through my fiance's eyes was great. All he wanted to see was the Endeavor Space Shuttle. It's only $2 dollars. He and I were both in awe. I saw it being pulled down Martin Luther King Blvd back in October of 2012, but it was like seeing it for the first time again. Took loads of pictures.
We missed a lot of the other exhibits, and can't wait to go back.
Parking is $12, but entry to the Science Center is free. Love that!!

I went to the Science Scenter with the main objective of seeing Endeavor up close. Worth the visit. But there you will find several other exhibitions, some interesting and some a little less. But it's a good choice for kids and science fans.

Space! One of three NASA shuttles is found here, which almost makes the price of admission alone. However there is a ton of other amazing things to explore and learn about here. You could spend all day inside.

This place is fabulous. A visual and audio delight for children and adults of all ages. Home of the space shuttle "Endeavour" the center has a rich display of NASA space capsules, suits and photographs. I was fortunate enough to be there during the King Tut exhibit (which was the last time any King Tut artifacts will be allowed outside of Egypt). The treasures displayed were simply breathtaking. When observing the craftsmanship and beauty of the pieces on display one can easily forget that all of these treasures were never meant to be seen by the eyes of man once they were entombed with the King.

Nice

Went to see The King Tut exhibit. It was $60.00 for two people and parking was $12.00. It was ok, I expected more since its all over the city being advertised. Very few real items in the museum. It was ok. Gift store over priced for some items we paid $14.00 for a tee shirt, that was reasonable. Key chains were $7.99 and some of the tut pictures looked funny.

The free admission is definitely a plus! The building is not too large and has decent exhibits of introductory science topics (the human body, climates, buildings and structures) - great for kids and adults alike.

First class.
We have membership in the science museum in Ottawa so we got in to this museum for free. ( exchanges with hundreds of others ) The kids really enjoyed it but the eating area is very small and people are parked there for hours. It would be great if they had more places to sit and watch the kids. Oh well. It was wonderful! For special exhibits you must reserve early!

Interesting exhibits. Great for children. Has too little detail for technically interested adults in large parts of the museum. Space shuttle Endeavor is a must-see: This exhibit offers detailed historic information about the the US space program. Large parts of the museum can be visited free of charge.

Good show venue, was not able to get photos with wife as kid had thrown up at the picture station and it was not cleaned up in over an hour. If not for that I would have giving a 5 star rating.

Endevour Space Shuttle can be seen here supported on seismic base isolation system designed by Arup. The speed of water vapor emissions when the shuttle was taking off was about 15,600 kilometers per hour! To get a better understanding of this number, one need to compare this with design hurricane wind speed of about 200 kilometers per hour for which the high-rise buildings in Florida are normally designed for.

Parking is 12$ & I believe it's only cash. Getting inside is free but if you want to see any of the exhibits or imax films there's a charge. It's a really neat place for adults & kids. We go here a few times a year. Recently we went to check out the King Tut exhibit & it was well worth it highly recommend it.

A great place to go for those that are into science. Admission is free, but certain exhibits have a small charge. Absolutely worth your time. Plus it is right next to the coliseum that was used for the Olympics and the USC Trojan football games.

The California Science Museum is the final home for the Endeavor Space Shuttle. We came here as part of a tour group to see it. There's a lot more to the museum than just this, but this is the star attraction. We also rode the Space Mission Simulator, which was an extra charge, but rather fun. It's tame enough for most people.
This is a great activity for children as it makes learning fun, but we were all adults in our group and everyone enjoyed it.
