A great location for family and friends. It has loads information and plenty items to display. Each exhibition hall has its unique and any people with any age could find his/her own thing. Parking is easy, but maybe not suit for holiday season. Food are good with fair price. Highly recommended to everyone.

There was not nearly enough space, aeronautical, and scientific paraphernalia in there to call it a Science Center. I could have been much better. I enjoyed it, but wished that there was more stuff to see in there. Frankly, it was rather sparse. I enjoyed it because my girlfriend was there and so was the Space Shuttle; and a few planes and actual space capsules.

Went there to see King Tut's treasures from his burial chamber. The jewelry was phenomenal. The detail was amazing. I think the exhibit will be there 2 more months. I also saw the Endeavour Space Shuttle. I have to say I was amazed and really glad I got to see it. The space shuttle did 25 missions which included the astronauts repairing the Hubble Telescope and a trip to the space station. The people who work at the Science are very curtious and helpful.

The entrance is free and there is a huge aquarium hidden over there... I couldn't believe discovering this after years coming... You can see from upper and lower floor which gives you a great view of all creatures in the water

Many exhibits and some of them are even bilingual for Spanish speakers. The staff are friendly and a solid amounts of the exhibits are free. The center is donation run and well put together for learning simple sciences. A great place for taking children to learn different science fields for free. There are also other exhibits costing, from what I know, $16. And IMAX movies every hour costing $9 per movie.

It is the most excellent and the most fun museum I visited as an adult. It has a lot of things to do but it doesn't feel like it's just pages and pages of information printed and you just read it standing in a room. It's visually brilliant and it tries to engage with you. Must visit in Los Angeles.

After visiting the Natural History Museum next to it, I came here and took a look. There are no tickets. In addition, there are some paid special exhibitions and activities that you can choose to visit freely. Many people went to the IMax cinema on the first floor. At four o'clock in the afternoon, I saw a notice saying that the tickets were sold out. It's good to take the kids to shake it

Perfect spot to spend a day with your kids or on a fun date. There are a wide array of exhibits and tons of interactive experiments for kids. Was going to go for a couple hours but spent 4+ hours there. Also, don't forget about the IMAX theatre!

My 7 and 9 year old loved it. I, personally, thought some of the exhibits were dated, but still nice. Visitors should know that because of summer day camps it is crowded even on a weekday during the summer. Expect long lines in the women's bathrooms

In all, this is a great family place. And best of all, admission is free.

HOLY COW! A bunch of us saw the King Tut Exhibit here recently. We rocked up to the main entrance on Jan 4th at about 10am to join the hundreds already lined up to get in. Without going into too much detail I have to say that seeing hundreds of the boy King Tutankhamun's personal artifacts was one of the highlights of my life to date. Too breathtaking for words! We all stopped for a lunch break at 12.30pm in the huge food court on the ground floor. The food was alright for a gigantic tourist attraction. We then headed to the NASA exhibits and eventually to the Space Shuttle which was just incredible to stand near. I sure wish I could have seen inside it though. We finished up about 2.30pm and gee it was sure worth coming here!

Fantastic place to learn about the ecosystem, space, engineering, and the scientific method. All exhibits have hands-on experiences. Wonderful museum for kids of all ages as touching is encouraged!

Had a very good time here. There's lots to do, lots to see, and lots to learn! There are activities like rock climbing, flight stimulators and even riding a bike on a high wire to do if you pay. Seeing the endeavor was sooo cool! It's so big and awesome to see and the gift shop there has NASA and space themed shirts, sweaters, hats and toys. They're reasonably priced and I got myself an endeavour t-shirt. My only complaint would be that a some of the things were out of order. I would press the buttons and they would not work. I hope they get fixed soon because I would like to visit again. Overall a very fun place to go on a Saturday.

This museum has been one of my favorite museums since I have been a child. The museum provides interactive elements which engages one to want to come and explore. Also, they host several different exhibits that are very interesting and definitely worth a look.

My visit to the California science Center was disappointing I've been there many times before as a kid and I decided to go now as an adult and was just so disappointed to see the same things I saw as a kid I would think they would have new things but no kids nowadays are learning the same stuff I learned 15yrs ago they really need an update there is so much new technology that would be awesome to see in the museum

Great place. Took the family. We had lots of fun. The IMAX was amazing. The exhibits are fun and informative. There s some stuff that can be updated. I really loved the Fear Revue film that they show about the effects of fear on society and how the different forms of media exploit that fear. Worth the 10-15 mi used to watch it. I watched it twice. Looked for it on YouTube but I couldn t find it.

I love this place. I don't know if I enjoy it more than our kids. Who am I kidding, I probably do! And the Endeavor exhibit. Just WOW! What an amazing place to just stand there and absorb in awe the sheer immensity that is our shuttle program. And the exhibit is not even done yet! I cant wait to see the completely erected orbiter on the ET and SRB stack. It will be an amazing sight to see. If you haven't had the pleasure, make time and just do it. It should be one most people's bucket list as one of the (at least) once in a life time experience. Believe me, you will be glad that you did. A special shout out to (Ret.) shuttle commander Scott "Doc" Horowitz. It was nice to see you name on perpetual display on the mission plaques and being reminded of all the stories that you have gracious shared in our encounters. Thank you for your service and for inspiring all of the kids (and kids at heart) that cross paths with you to become more interested in STEM disciplines and space exploration!

Super fun experience for kids and adults (but mostly for kids - their displays are very hands on). Except for special exhibits and timed reservation to see the space shuttle, ($5 by itself, free with tickets to IMAX or exhibits) the museum More

An interesting museum where you can experience a lot of interactive. The Science Center is a great "interactive" museum, which is great for children, as they can and should try a lot and have a lot to touch and experiment with. Unfortunately this also means that it is very crowded with school classes and children's groups, which makes it very loud and full. The science center is directly connected to the space shuttle, where you have to buy an extra ticket for $ 3 at the counter at the entrance. The Science Center is free if you have been to the Natural History or African American Museum. The center is very clean and divided into several subject areas. Definitely worth a visit if you have kids.

Amazing! You could spend hours there and still not cover everything. Informative and diverse. We are from out of town so we didn't have much time to linger but will definately return on a future visit to California.

California, science museum. Admission free. Special exhibition is charged.
The most attractive point is that you can see Space Shuttle Endeavor anyway. There are other exhibits such as space suit, space satellite, fighter aircraft etc.
On the outside of the second floor there was also a corner where you can touch the creature of the sea. Shellfish and starfish etc.
There were also many experienced attractions paid and free of charge.
