Cafe Boulud Palm Beach Review

One of my favorites restaurants ever. My first visit was so perfect that I wanted to go back. I went there trying to repeat the experience. I sat in the quaint grown-in patio of the Brazilian court hotel. To my surprise, the waiter was the same nice person who attended to us for our first visit. Evran is a great turkish american guy who I could talk to for the whole night. I ordered the same duck that I had the first time and it was one of the best meals I have ever had. Everything was amazing. Congratulations Cafe Boulud, we can't wait to go back.

Nice place for delicious French food. One of the best spots of its kind in the area. There was quick and friendly service. Bring your appetite because portions are large.

I took my girlfriend here on her birth day 3 16 17 .our table was between two big groups that were loud so the whole time i couldnt talk to her without yelling.." hows your food hun!!!" Lol thats ok .she didnt like her 57 dollor steak . It taste off , maybe it was aged wrong or something .i had the dover sole. Tasted like canola oil, couldnt taste the fish . Being a commercial fishermen i know fish pretty well.bill was 475. And 600 with tip. I almost had a heart attack when she asked to stop at checkers on the way home....

Great setting, ask for the garden terrace. Professional service and the best food in PB.

The Boulud Restaurant was great. We shared a Chateau Briand, which was cooked right on. The oysters, soft shell crab and escargot were excellent. The Service was fast and professional with care and detail at all levels.

Had the tasting menu with wine pairing. Apart from the food and wine being 10/10, the service was impeccable. Additionally the chef sent out I d say 3-4 smaller dishes he put together for no additional cost. Above and beyond experience.

Just had drinks on the patio, the atmosphere is so tasteful and chill I will be back for dinner soon!

We tried the 5 course tasting meal, each course was better than the last! Not only was the food phenomenal but our server Paul and the support team made our experience amazing. They made sure my birthday was special. It truly was an amazing visit and we will definitely be back.

Epitome of excellence. Did not disappoint and lived up to our expectations as we're Jean George die hards. Excellent mixologists, food was perfect. Garden setting is just lovely.

This place clearly knows how to satisfy their customers. Regularly with a super friendly demeanor. The food is affordably priced, always tasty and neat.

We had a beautiful lunch. The Cobb salad, club sandwich and lobster roll were fantastic. Finished with a scoop of the coffee ice cream.

Food was very bland and uninspired for prix fix lunch. Service was excellent.

Service, service, service, simply EXCEPTIONAL! The chef puts a lot of thought into each of his dishes. Wish I could ve had one of their amazing looking cocktails but am currently pregnant.

Cafe Boulud has wonderful food, plus a small gem of a bar that is lit from underneath. It is as good a place as any to observe the glamorous people of Palm Beach. The historic hotel in which it is housed, the Brazilian Court, is one of the very best in Palm Beach, with beautifully decorated rooms and eye-popping suites. A class act all the way.

its a nice place to grab a bite. not too pretentious, not too French either. Food is good, nothing 'wow', pretty classic menu.

I call this excellent restaurant every couple of days because I enjoy the special atmosphere that is characterizes this restaurant. The crew is awfuly loving and well trained. The service is exceptionally fast. Not to mention, the food you get is outstanding. I frequent more than once and I was always happy. The expense is honest. I suggest this restaurant to my friends and family.

Amazing. All the food that was served for the Thanksgiving dinner was delicious. We got to sit outside and enjoy the cool evening. The wine selections were wonderful.

Only been here for dinner and the place never disappoints. When the weather is nice, can't beat being seated outside. Romantic and classy spot. You can actually talk and take your time enjoying your meal here. Food is top notch and service is what you would expect of a Boulud place.

Cafe Boulud is a hidden gem when you go inside it is very open post modern at its best please do not be frightened by the hustle and commotion because that is what makes Cafe Boulud the excitement! Of everything going on around you plus I felt so pampered by the waitstaff I looked left there was a waiter looked right there was a waiter I do have to say it is very upper-crust so bring your A game because it is the who's who of Palm Beach okrrrrrr you know me hear 2 day gone tomorrow byeeeee!

Breakfast at Cafe Boulud is the perfect way to kickoff of productive week. Recommending the Oeufs Forestiers!

Good food and spectacular outside area.
As with everything on the Island the food and most definitely the wine is exorbitantly priced, but hey what do you expect.
The Brazilian Court is a real treat to finish the night at.
We also attended a private Cheval Blanc and Chateau d'Yquem tasting hosted by Pierre Lurton the President Director General of both properties. The staff was extremely professional and the event was expertly executed.

Disappointment with the curb side pick up Menu not worth the price and they forgot the macarons. Should of checked everything. This was a gift and I felt bad it wasn't more special.
I have decided I don't care for French cuisine.

I had the crab capellini to start, the duck glazed as main course and the chocolate cake for dessert. The crab capellini plate was good, the dessert somewhat disapointing but the duck plate was one of the best I ever had.

We had our company holiday party at Cafe Boulud. Beautiful room, outstanding food and impeccable service!

This restaurant does not deserve to have the name Boulud. Simply put, don t go here. The food is sub-par at best. The service is untrained at the level of a mall staff. And the prices, while fine if it s at the level it should be, are at the upper side of a high end palm beach restaurant. Turn around and throw a stone and you can find a better meal in Palm Beach. Don t waste your money or your night going here.

Dined at Cafe Boulud March 24 and could not have been more disappointed in the dinner. I do not know who was in the kitchen that night but 3 of the 4 meals were sent back practically un touched. We did not complain or send the food back but no one asked why our meals were not eaten. The souffle was excellent, the garden lovely as always and the staff attentive However, we will no longer be coming back.

Excellent dining experience. My wife and I went here for our 15th wedding anniversary and this place did not disappoint. From the service and the staff and all the way to the food. I don't think there are enough stars here to do it any justice.

Is this the kind of place I would normally go to on my own? No. This is the kind of place that people come to when they think that spending more money on food makes it taste better... But, you would probably come here if your employer were willing to pay for it.... Yes, it s a great place when you don t have to think about the cost... $36 for a half dozen oysters? I don t think so, even if you do attach a fancy name to them....

Was the food pleasant? Of course. Do I need 5 different people doting after me? No, but some people do. So, come here for that if you need it.

It takes a lot to leave me speechless...but Cafe Boulud did just that. I started with a White Cosmopolitan. The drink boasts an ice cube with a flower frozen inside...clever! As the ice melted, I suddenly had a full flower in my glass! The drink was mixed perfectly. The Mahi was beyond delicious. I m still unsure what wizardry was used to create such an incredible combination of flavors both atop and within, but it was divine! Perfectly prepared. As for dessert, the madeleines were little puffs of Heaven!
Be sure to request a table outside by the fountain...the looming palm trees are the perfect accessory to an already stunning aesthetic. What a lovely evening in Palm Beach!

Amazingly Delicious! Had a fantastic 3 course meal (lunch) Green gazpacho to die for, fish and delicious deserts! Staff was very attentive and the atmosphere was beautiful and relaxing. Only wish we were staying in town long enough that I could ve eaten there a few more times! Highly recommended!

Disappointed with the overall ambiance. I remembered it differently (had not been back in 10 years) The mushroom risotto was below average...overcooked and tasteless. But service was attentive and good

Worst lobster roll that I have ever eaten. The waiter was rude and inattentive. The Cobb salad was nothing special. A disappointing meal and not inexpensive.

What a disappointment! We have been coming to Cafe Boulud many times. The food was excellent a couple of years ago but has become less and less enjoyable. What happened? The entree choices on the menu had nothing to do (anymore) with French food. (By the way we are from France but live in the U.S. part of the year). The french fries were dark and greasy and we felt bad for our guests who experienced Cafe Boulud for the first and probably last time.
We have enjoyed many great meals at Cafe Boulud and Daniele in NY and appreciate good French cooking. We know how much Mr. Boulud cares about his restaurants but obviously there is a complete lack of supervision in the kitchen to live up to the "Boulud" standard.
On a more positive note we always enjoy the outside terrace and peaceful environment. But unfortunately the food needs to improve before we become regular customers again.

Went to business luncheon here and food was very plain and bland, like food you would receive at a hospital or nursing home. Had a small chicken breast that looked and tasted like it was baked, plain. No spices. It was tender but that's about all I can say for it. Mashed potatoes were bland and watercress for side. Pre lunch salad was mixed greens with cherry tomatoes, olives and big slices of raw onion and carrot. No dressing. Staff was nice but some of them obviously couldn't speak or understand English. I won't be going back.

Have been a loyal patron of this fine establishment for 6 years. Wonderful atmosphere. Amazing staff. This is the place to see and be seen while enjoying amazing, always consistent, high quality fare in Palm Beach. Has never disappointed.

Once you walk into Cafe Boulud, you are welcomed with a perfect atmosphere and a very professional manner by the staff. The look and furnishing of the location feels very cozy and settled to the point where you do feel like you are treated with respect and courtesy. Had the chicken and potatoes. Beautiful setup and tasted like nothing I have ever had before. The chicken was juicy and coated evenly. Potatoes were phenomenal. Dessert was very cute and tasted heavenly. If you need a place to eat, I'd highly recommend coming for lunch (or get a reservation for the future)!

Been wanting to eat here for years. Top class palm beach stuff. Great cocktails Pearfume and Bergamot Sour Marg.

The game-winner def was the Alba White truffle purses with a chicken au jus and parsley topped with shaved truffle. I tend to stray away from the daily specials but sometimes you gota bite.

We had the tasting menu. It was 5 courses and I am giving it 2 stars because only two of the dishes were up to the standards of what we were paying. The meal was $360 USD. The first course was raw Amber Jack. It was not cold enough, making it too fishy. The second course was good, it was a red pepper risotto. The next course was Grouper. It was not left to rest long enough after searing making the sauce watery. The next course was duck and it was good. The final course was cheese cake It was ok. Definitely not something to write home about. A lady at the table next to us had the Filet which she said was great. I would suggest eating at the far superior Buccan down the road or not having the tasting menu.

Wait staff and ambiance really nice. Expensive. Allowed a dog at the bar with its owners. Not very sanitary. Beware of word "consumption" when submitting bill. My $21 cheeseburger turned into a $28 boring burger because the bill was split 3 ways even though I tried to tell staff I wanted individual. Not interested in returning.

Enjoyed a quiet evening for dinner with my wife to celebrate our anniversary. We've had dinner there before and the service was impecable as it has been on our previous visits. The menu provides a delightful selection for a variety of palates that are prepared to prefection and will not dissapoint. In particular our martins were excelent and enjoyed throughout our dinner.
The seating and sever precautions concerning COVID were accomodating and we felt safe throughout our dining experience.

Highly recommended. Limited but very well executed menu. Fantastic wine selection by the glass thanks to the nitrogen system. It's priced accordingly, but I don't mind that if the experience is worth it. Here it is.
