Partly renovated, security controls obsolete. Cleanliness in the toilets could have been a little better. No announcements at the beginning of boarding

Very bad security.. Not realizing it is ALLOWED to bring max 10 flacons of 100ml each. Not cooperative and friendly at all! I fly a lot (flight attendant) but never experienced this before on any other airport.
Terrible airport with hardly any seats for the number of passengers. Some gates only have six seats. Food and drinks are shockingly expensive, a normal toasted sandwich costs around 10, - Staff are friendly and do their best to do their job at this very outdated airport. Getting to the center is easy and there are many options.
Usually helpful staff, English speaking, self check-in kiosks to save time, good food and coffee shops, nice lounges ... overall a good airport
No Duty Free for EU, 100Mb of free internet, 11Euro one beer, longest queues to drop the baggage and security check I have ever seen!!!
On the screens they say that the flights leave 40 minutes in advance, make you run and call you as the last call and then announce that the flight is delayed.
Very good. Organized. Clean. Easy access whit the train. Many stores for food.
It is very clean and incredibly beautiful, a good airport for buyers Check-in is very easy and also check-out , for that I give it 5 stars
Clean, modern, and good airport. The People here is also fery kind and warm, hahaha
Nice airport. Very cozy and comfortable. A lot of branded shops in duty free zones but prices are high compare to other European countries.
One must accept to receive advertising via email in order to get "free" internet. After paying 95 bucks for a pint of beer, it feels like a slap in the face.
With us there was a radar failure and many flights were canceled but no staff was there and informed the people! And not even the gates were busy so airmen who have not been painted yet could not leave on time!
Clean and, as I saw it, quite secure. The signage, however, left something to be desired since it was NOT in ANY way clear that you needed to go up the moving sidewalk (which only had signs to the "Skylounge" and a bunch of shops) to get from the arrivals section of Terminal 5 to Arlanda C train station. The only two reasons I still made my train is that the train in question was 3 minutes late and I have long legs. As a general rule, one should ALWAYS be able to see the next sign when standing by the last one. Better too many signs than too few.
Totally rip off.
Rented a small car for a week. The tank capacity was 30 liters (as I had to fill it up during the week). On the way back to return it I fill it up in the city. Obviously, it was no longer full tank but the meter barely had come down from full. I knew they will charge me dearly for the top up but I never expected them to charge me for 10 litre!!!!?
I called them and the guy on the other side was also surprised that this car should have used 10 litre from city to airport (almost impossible I would say). He said he will investigate and let me know but never got back to me. I didn't bother to contact them again so that was my money in the pocket of the guy who pump up the cars.
AVIS would be my absolute last choice in future.
Horrible if your flight is leaving early and you have to wait overnight. You cant get past security if your flight is scheduled the next day and there's almost no places to wait/sleep outside. And almost no way to charge your devices outside because they turn off power from outlets for no reason whatsoever
With the new express train you are quickly in the city
An extremely different experience travelling during covid-19
Not enough toilets that work. Poor signage, apologetic staff
Perfect with a few people, luggage arrived and taxi driver on site for onward transport!
Easy and easy airport. Unfortunately, food prices are very high.
Had some time to spend at Arlanda before my flight. Was very disappointed with the shopping area, since Sweden has so much to offer in brands. Price at a restaurant was enourmous high, something I could only expect in my own country Iceland. Only met friendly staff and check in and all that went smoothly
Mattias worked today at gate 87 OU485 helped me to find lost bag in another plane. His colleague brought it to my next flight!. Great team! Thanx a lot!
Nice airport but also very big. A lot of the space of the newer terminal feels wasted in a way. Also not a fan of having to take the busses to the plane, but most airports are like that now for smaller flights.
One of the best airports I have ever met.
A luxury
Clean airport with the typical Nordic style. Walking between terminals can take a bit of time. Luggage carts are free.
Spend on slow baggage delivery so it does not look like anything. Do not check in if you are going to Arlanda!
Ok airport if coming to Stockholm. I just don't like the distance from the city although you definitely can use the train (a bit pricey) or bus connections.
Good airport for overnight layovers. Nice architecture and clear sings.
The most ordinary airport, in my opinion, without its own special chip. Not big and not small. Neat and comfortable. Five terminals, arrival and departure halls, inspection areas, passport control, shops, cafes ,,,, as in all airports in the world.
All the necessary procedures from registration to boarding a wide-body airliner) passed quickly and without unpleasant surprises.
A flight to Moscow flies from terminal 5.
We got to Stockholm by taxi, the trip cost 500 CZK, it seems this fixed price to anywhere in the city center. They paid back 520 kroons, maybe the price increased due to ordering a taxi to the hotel.
Hard to give 5 under Covid19 restrictions... But friendly staff and easy to move around
WiFi isn't working. Pages aren't loading. Worst WiFi I've seen in an airport.
Our Paris flight was the first flight out of that airport... It was spooky, as there is no one around if you reach early (Terminal 2).
Catch a normal commuter train at Arlanda Central and you can get to the city centre for only SKK 135.
Plenty of gastronomy and shopping options, charging dose and seatings, clean and modern.
Such an airport, mixes perfectly ok department with the right sad. A big plus for good train access.
I did not appreciate the service. No priority for pregnant women. I struggled with my luggage.
Sincerely for Sweden I thought I will see wonders but in the end I prefer our Orly or Roissy aereport
Easy access by train and bus! Clean service with a card machine! You do not need a currency!
The best airport in the world where it is easy to navigate inside the airport and it is reasonably easy to pass to the aircraft. It is well illuminated inside the airport and shops such as the press office exist there if you need to buy something before the trip.
Not too big, not too small. Friendly stuff and free WiFi like normal
1. Everything is good for him at the airport, except that at terminal 5 departures the investor has not met the needs of the toilets, so people are waiting in line in front of them.
2. It is not particularly beautiful to force travelers to bother with the inactive slot machines. It is no great feat and convenience this innovation.
The airport is quiet big and if you don t have the right information from the airline it can get quiet confused! Luckily Norwegian airlines gives you all the information detail by detail which makes your life way easier around the airport.
They also have a free shuttle bus going around the airport.
This shuttle takes to the nearest hotels and the famous Jumbo hostel.
Has improved lately. But the baggage claim area is really bad. Toilets often old and filthy.
Small and beautiful ... don't even have enough seats at the gate for a third of the plane!
just very weak the airport
Make sure you don't have a short connection time here, otherwise you sure miss your connecting flight.
If you for example arrive at terminal 5, and your connecting flight is at terminal 4, there is no other option then to go all the way otluth trough security and bagage claim, walk an awful end, and go back in line for security again.
Very time consuming, and frustrating if you just went trough the whole security process 40 min earlier..
Amazing airport. Easily accessible both through fast but expensive option and the option using Sl card. Easy access to checking counters with reasonably good crowd management and processing speed. Wrapping facility available on call, easy access to small shops.
Really efficient, fast and pleasant experience with immigration. Enough seating facilities and shops. Facilities available for electronic equipment and WiFi.
A small airport, quite far from the city (at least the price of taxis is semi fixed, about 500SEK) because the price of the fast train to the center is prohibitive, it is not worth it. In addition the luggage service is very slow, almost 50 minutes waiting on the tape. Be careful because if you are going to buy Vodka in the duty free they won't let you if you stop (?).
Large efficient Airport with good connections in Scandinavia, and we'll connected to Stockholm city centre by Express train. A nice hotel inside the airport and efficient food , beverage and retailers. A functional Airport, whereas one is now used to spectacular Airports in the middle east , India and the far east. So doesn't stand out.
Well organized and functional airport. Prices on food and beverage are ridiculous though!
Have to hurry to make a connecting flight when it departs from another terminal (e.g. from terminal 4 to 5). This because one has to go through security again when entering a different terminal. When there are massive queues this is quite stressful. Moreover the security system (at terminal 5) with the trays and conveyor belts are inefficient.
Understand that those who complain most often have zero reality or are extremely sluggish, Arlanda provides very good communications not to mention lounges. Of course, it is not in comparison to many other countries when it comes to exclusivity, but you have to remember that Sweden is quite small in this regard.
My favorite airport. Easy to understand, often quick service, not too many people and a neat assortment of hotels and shops.
Mandatory mask rule not consistently followed by neither travellers nor staff.
Staff with Lufthansa very unhelpful ! Rude and patronising
A medium sized airport with a very modern exterior design. The shopping are is rather on the small side of the standard, but one can find many of the usual delights.
Good transport links, despite the size one comes, partly with buses, well to the terminals. Many ways to spend money (for example, a cappuccino 46 crowns about 4.60 ).
I was severely harassed by a security guard in the x-rays for no reason.
Nice place just for travel and make same shopping before
To Wallenbergare with mashed potatoes and lingonberries, very good.
Good airport. A little problem now when they rebuild at terminal 5.
Should you really have to wait more than an hour for luggage every time you land at Arlanda ?!
Dessert no people in waiting lines and also check ins because of covid 19
Great airport ... clean and very nice ... people are great
Only bad experiences:
When arriving: Priority baggage was the last which would arrive on the belt (Swiss flight)
When leaving: Done self-checkin for all the bags, print the labels, and finally still could not drop it off ourselves. So had to que for over one hour!!
For dropping off our guests we parked the car in front of terminal 5. There were no signs in English which would explain the parking rules. So I left the car there for 10 minutes to help my relatives to bring the luggage to the terminal. When I come back I already got a fine (900 SEK). I think they don't put up any signs in English on purpose!!
One of the worst airports I have been to and I have been to over 100 airports worldwide.
