Clean but super expensive and not enough variety for food in terminal 5. We had a flight from Rome to Stockholm and were ushered to the gate area through the passport check and could not go back to the main terminal. The fact that we had a 3 hour layover made it very uncomfortable and left us bored and hungry which is a recipe for disaster when getting on a 9 hour flight. Lesson learned!!!! Also not enough outlets - with everyone needing their devices it is a necessity.

Clean airport. Staff were helpful.

Although no facilities for overnight layover. had to wait 6 hours and they had shut off most the airport except the entrance/lobby. So my night was spent on a marble bench for 6 hours. they could do with actually putting in some half decent seating.

Also "Hot breakfast" means it should be hot. Not slightly warm.

Airport is huge, bit ok. Before flight make sure to check from which terminal are you leaving, because it can cost you some time.

Security waiting time (for Schengen flight is fine, non-Schengen might be a problem)

However I took the fast track, because the transport to the airport is absolutely terrible and I almost missed the flight. If you're traveling via Stockholm Central or Stockholm City (note that they are TWO DIFFERENT STATIONS, but almost merging) Be sure to have enough time to figure out the way how to get to the airport.

An airport like all other airports.
A community in a very small town with various shops and restaurants. Companies offering various services in everything.
Parking in different price ranges from 800-3000 / v (slightly too expensive) tax free of different brands, etc.
Good cleanliness.

Two times I had connection flight there and two times I got lost. Almost... The signs are confusing and not very clear. This airport was so far the most stressful experience from all airports I've visited. Otherwise looks nice and clean.

Well maintained washrooms. Proper signage to keep you from getting lost.

Leave an hour for the required in-person check in for US flights on SAS, it s impossibly slow and impractical. They won t let you do self service and even with no one in line for business class, the 6 agents on that side won t help move non-business class line. Painful experience

Very clean and efficient airport. I'm always flying American operated by BA, so it's the same desks and the same terminals over and over but always been a good experience

Pretty good airport. Can get very crowded around the holidays, but the staff usually manages to make your experience acceptable...
T5 has a good selection of food and quite some stores to browse while waiting your flight. Max burger is a great, relatively cheap and quick place to have a bite.

Fast security check and friendly staff. The lounge was nice and the Wifi was fast. No complaints, Arlanda has always been one of my favorite airports.

T5 is the main making and there is nothing in T2 that I often use,
Because the train is also T5, there are a lot of ups and downs when you walk and it is far.
The airport itself has a calm atmosphere.

Signs on the f-wing are confusing (coming from gate 8), hard to figure out which direction to go and travel long. There were no flights on the same wing's display boards, so a little awkward taste remained.

Good airport with a lot of shopping options and helpful staff. Getting to and from the airport is also easy via bus or train.

Big airport very well maintained. The Arlanda Express takes you from the city center to the airport in just 20 minutes with a train every 15 minutes. I think it's one of the best airports I've ever been to and while not smoking, I think having smoking areas inside makes it very modern and extremely relaxing even for those who have this bad habit. Very well managed. Many seating points for each individual gate.

There was a female staff member at the security checkpoint, and took out a small bag that allowed me to put the water-containing skin care products into it and insisted that all the creams contained water. I had to come back and check in the backpack, I want to tell her that her fat contains more water. When I re-inspected, another staff member in charge of the security inspection just checked the toiletries and let it pass. So is the small bag of the female staff brought by herself?

Convenient airport. You can get to the city cheaply by bus 583 that goes to Mestre, and then transfer by train to Stockholm. All this is valid SL card

What a scandal they don't take cash and they don't make you drink free water from fast food without ordering ...

Clean airport, seems easy to get to most gates and a fair selection of food places and things to buy, nice toy shop also in T5

Been there for an overlay. Clean and functional facilities. They offer strollers for kids or babies which was super helpful. Nice stores, a variety of restaurants and places to eat to choose from. We had no difficulty finding our gate. Great airport!

Very nice airport with lots of shops and restaurants and bars. Few toilets and quite cramped. And everything is a bit expensive too.

You learn to appreciate Arlanda, its clean and organized premises, the friendly staff and that particular Swedishness in it when visiting other airports.

Whilst the building and services are lovely and new and shiny, it is ferociously expensive!! DO NOT plan to eat or drink here. Seriously. This is the most expensive airport I've have ever been in in 35 years of air travel.

Long queues, poor service, long distances, sick long wait for luggage and above all high prices for everything from parking to food. $ 3.95 for a 0.5L bottle of water?!?!? No matter what business you go into, you get robbed in the middle of the bright day and no one responds. There is only one word that can sum up Arlanda - Disaster!

I like this airport. Clean, a lot of places to sit and to charge your phone. Terminal 5 has clean bathrooms, places where you can fill a water bottle, the water tastes good. Everything is written in swedish and english, it's easy to navigate. Lines at the security, at least in my case, we're really short, took just a couple of minutes. The security staff were nice and helpful. I've been in Arlanda aiport a couple of times and both went smoothly. It is a fairly big airport, but that wasn't an issue for us.

too little toilet (for a man a cabin and woman) had some strange moments ....

The flight was delayed by almost an hour! It was also understaffed at check-in and security. Very few stations with hand alcohol available in terminal 5. Hire nicer staff who greet at meetings. Staff must also dare to pay attention to visitors to put on mouth guards!

I had a bad exprience with a person at the drop bag. She was so rude and unpleasant. Airport itself was good except put signs up to notify People that T-4 is not open,save one alot of trouble and time.

Very modern, quick processing, very friendly staff. Long ways. Airport fee is tourist rip off.

Check-in is easy and simple. Staff and security officers are nice and friendly. This airport has one of the best coffee shops. Fast free wifi. Amazing views and excellent customer service. The toilets have automated soap dispensers. For night travelers, they have cozy quite room with comfortable sofas to catch some sleep before your trip. Has high speed train Arlanda express that takes you directly to the central station in Stockholm that stops operating around 1 am and starts again around 5 am. The is my favorite airport in the world!

01:10, a plane from Arlanda will lift with the final destination Kabul. On board are several people who, with the support of the Migration Board's new country report on Afghanistan, which came last Thursday, could appeal once more but now have no time to get this tested.

If the plane lifts, Sweden will add a spot of shame similar to the Baltic extradition or how we treated the so-called orphanage children to their history.

If there is someone on site who is involved in the process who, through the refusal to work, can stop the flight, this person will receive massive backing from many for their efforts. Nothing illegal should be done, but no one can force anyone to do their job.

Cramped and busy like a London tube station. Hot, busy and with a bad selection of spots to sit down for a drink or a meal. I guess delays are the standard here on afternoons, cause my flights to Oslo from this place have never been on time. I am seriously considering taking the train next time I am visiting Stockholm.

We can use the prayer room (Arlanda Kapell/ Chapel) for all religion. It is at the corner of arrival terminal 5, open everyday at 5 AM - 10 PM. Alhamdulillaah ...

We went to Arlanda and had booked parking on P57. The signage for driving to P57 was really bad, that rebuilding is underway in Arlanda is not an ok reason, the contractor can fix it easily. Same when exiting terminal 5 to go to P57. Do again do right!

The airport is equipped with all the modern facilities. Neat & clean toilets, fast ground service.

There are no transport details to get to Stockholm. Buy the train that provides good service but is very expensive. Buses are a cheaper option but take more time

Always happy in Stockholm. Super airport everything can be found straight away. Fly to this airport. Only the security checks sometimes take a little longer, but with enough time you can plan for that.

The airport was so clean, convenient, and modern. It might not as big as Paris CDG, but it's comfortable enough to start your journey. There are 3 type of transportation from/ to Stockholm. Fast train, train, and bus. The tickets around 120 SEK for the fast train (2017).

Nice and very large airport. There is a lot to do when you weave on the flight both in the form of both restaurants and shopping. The airport is also very clean. However, there are some problems with efficiency, which sometimes creates queues and delays. But compared to smaller airports and other airports of similar size, it maintains a very high standard.

I am sorry to say that over the years Arlanda is getting worse all the time. Tryin three differnt ladies rooms (toilets) I finally found a fourth that was OK and working. Great! I talked to a janitor to tell her the situation. The general image of Arlanda is dirthy and worn out. Please sharpen up. Just go to Helsinki Vantaa and compare. Two completely different worlds.

There are also some flaws in the signs to find your way around. Ex when arriving at the Central station to Sky City the sign showing the direction of the terminals is in deed very missleading.

Very nice, clean, well-arranged airport. Great variety of shops. Friendly SAS lounge with plenty of space, comfortable seating. It is also striking in the lounge, as in many places in Sweden, toilets "for all" - that disturbs the privacy.

Worst bagage handling in the world. I ve had faster experiences flying into Samara, Russia

Mostly good measures however concerning to see some staff and customers without masks within the airport. Should lead by example.

Little people for obvious reasons, but the service itself is at the highest level.

Upon arrival to Passport control, the woman who greeted us was incredibly rude. My wife and I were traveling with our young son and simply wanted direction on where to go and how to get there. Once the woman working the desk realized my wife did not have a US Passport (only green card holder), she became very short in her responses saying "this is not America, your green card doesn't mean anything." Understanding this may be the case, it was condescending. Further she provided no direction as to where we needed to go and how we could make our connecting flight.

We ended up wandering around the deserted airport until finally a cleaning woman was able to direct us to "security" where the door was not marked nor was there signage directing us towards their location. All in all, unless you're traveling with a US or EU passport - expect to be treated like a second class citizen.

Very nice and tidy airport. Great invite to Scandinavian high prices. Completely normal here. Production, security control fast and convenient. Incredibly nice and above all polite staff. Is it possible to do something in other parts of the world? There is a bus shuttle from terminal to terminal. So you can make an airport tour for free. Really recommended.

By entering it's not clear where to drop off the luggage. Self checkin didn't work for Lufthansa, great! Bag drop off, lot of people, waited a long time. After a while we took a shortcut, otherwise we would have missed the plane. Security check, really sloooow, took a lot of time. One security staff was not able to take the empty boxes away, so we did it, following he was discussing with us that we have to wait and it doesn't matter that our plane leaves in a few minutes. That was just stupid, unfortunately he was not able to do is job with the empty boxes.
We waited too long, this has definitely to be improved. In Munich we are with the self checkin in Max 30 minutes at the gate. Horrible experience at the Stockholm Airport.

I wish UK airports were half as good as Arlanda, the British have a lot to learn

Good lounge available for a very reasonable amount. Met up at gate 3A over an hour before departure. The street showed the right destination and time. Some time later, the screen became blank. No information. Searched for some time the large info screens, which stated that the departure had moved to 10A. It should be a good case to state on the original gate screen that the departure has moved to new!

Being small, you have everything at hand, in 15 minutes you go from terminal to terminal, everything is pretty well marked

Large, spacious, modern. If you wait longer for a change, there is fast free internet here

If you fly cheap, you may pay more for the bus to get there than for the ticket. Airport is clean and modern.

I think we have a world-class airport.

In response to what someone wrote below regarding if you have problems getting around due to disability or the like: request assistance at the time of booking. then there are staff on site who help, and as far as I know it costs nothing extra.
However, this must be stated at the time of booking.
