Large, clear airport on the edge of Stockholm. Man...
Large, clear airport on the edge of Stockholm. Many shops and localities. Clean sanitary facilities. Short walk times.

Nice, clean, efficient but you have to walk too much to get to other terminals and there is no direct luggage check-in with other destinations and so, you have to exit the international area and re-enter to get the next flight. Anyway, it is superb and well organized.
Nice and clean, quite small and border security took a while because not many people working. Otherwise nice.
IBERIA: TERMINAL 2
You're welcome man
Fairly nice, accessible and well-kept airport
It's nothing special as far as airports are concerned. Can be a little confusing as general lack of info when you enter for baggage check in (terminal 5), but helpful info staff. Clean and tidy but beware that drinks (especially bottled water) are VERY expensive - almost to the point of legalised theft!!!!
ArlandaExpress trains are the easiest and fastest transportation to the city center, but there are also more economical bus options.
The airport is clear, easy to find what you want. Some terminals have poor services. Resting places / benches sparsely. Expensive prices and a fairly limited selection of stores.
Modern airport with very good connections to the city. Express train (expensive) and public transport available.
Waiting times at security checkpoints are displayed online.
Tidy, kindness both in billing and customs control. Lots of variety of shops and restaurants.
Unpleasant staff who are anything but service minded. Sambon will be 5 minutes late for check-in due to the airport bus from the nearby Arlanda hotel, which cohabitation could not influence.
The staff only gives him "we can't help you" in response. He has to catch up with incredibly important family affairs. Sambon tries to find solutions, is denied everything. A friend is already aboard the plane and speaks to a flight attendant who questions the staff's actions and says that there is plenty of space and that the cohabitation can be let through and bring the luggage. He is still denied by the staff. THEY DO NOT SEE HIMSELF IN THE EYES, NO PERSONALITY, ANYTHING TO FIND SOLUTION. So unfaithful, under all criticism !!
Ended up with extra costs and arrived 6 hours later than expected. Missing important family affair he never gets a chance to relive. Had been able to be avoided by solution-oriented staff. I hope Arlanda takes its responsibility for such incidents.
Big airport good food nice pepole fast lines but lots of drug dealers..
Medium-sized airport when compared to international airports. It has its charm and a growing business climate.
It is an airport through which it is easy to circulate. Everything is well signposted and you have access to any service. The connections with Stockholm are really good by train. With the bonotransport you have access to all transport in Stockholm and nearby towns, up to and including the airport.
A very good airport that gets better every year with the investments made for passengers. Clear signage, a large selection etc. makes the time before and after the trip better. My opinion is for Terminal 5. Should restaurant prices be more reasonable I would give the highest rating.
Not to crowded airport. Recommend taking the train to Stockholm - super easy experience.
Staff on layoff, more than 1 hour waiting for luggage !!! Absolutely outrageous !!!!
Easy to find and smooth travel experience. Clear signs are available, and it is easy to get to the streets and the like.
Magnificent airport, very modern and equipped, staff who also speak Italian
I highly recommend using it
Nice and clean. Helpful people as well. Easy to access to ur place
Best airport I have seen!
P.s. I travel a lot!
Good Airport with 4 good lounges:
American Express Lounge, the SAS-lounge, Menzies Aurora Lounge and Stockholm Arlanda Lounge.
Easy to find your way, good tax-free and good information-desks!
Have traveled through Arlanda countless times and have never had any troubles whatsoever.
Security checkpoint is one of the best I've encountered, never takes long to get to the gate.
Beautiful and busy Swedish airport served very well. Exceptional services, 42 km from Stockholm, but directly connected to the central railway station of the city thanks to the Arlanda Express railway, since 2012 the Stockholm suburban railway service connects the city to the airport, but is slower because it stops at intermediate stations. I'm Forward there is little to do
Since it's my "home" airport, long ago I used to hate it on account of all the wasted hours of my life I had to spend waiting around gates here... Now that I can afford to fly in more expensive ways, I realise it's not too bad.
Signage to the lounges could be a lot better, but I know them all now anyway. Just, it still annoys me this is so badly done. It's Sweden, for fecks sake. How could you not at least try to be efficient and user-friendly?
Not sure what went wrong with terminal 2 but I think the forgot it in their yearly budge. Staff is not very service minded. This is anyone from the self checkin personnel to the cafe barista which makes everything a little bit to slow and with a big sigh. Also the carpet feels like something they ve reused from the interior of an old bus from the seventies. I hope they shape this terminal up to the standards of the other ones. Not a nice way to end you trip in what supposed called the capital of Scandinavia
Chasing my sun, loving my dream, my pure pure love.
Plane was delayed, then the airlines/customs waited to the last hour to perform customs screenings for over 300 passengers. Everyone was waiting in line for ~1.5 hours with no information given. No time estimates were posted and they marked the flight as "final call" when there was at least a 45m line wait. No concern for passengers time or health. Flight did not start boarding until after the second delayed departure time. Abysmal customer service.
Pretty empty, just serving in the new part. Nowhere does it say that there is no serving in the old part. Useless with toilets.
Easy to see where to go. Far to go abroad. Tax-free totally okay range.
Very poor self service check-in. BEWARE, allow plenty of time! Saturday 17 Aug, 1pm. Term.5 SAS Check in is packed with travellers, many struggling with ancient self service machines not working or difficult to use... NO staff around to help. Only 2 staff at desk to manually check in.... when you are lucky to get passed a matron who denies access to all and sent everyone looking for help back to self service machines! About 40 French passport holders had to be manually checked in as none of our passports could be read in those machines, what a joke! I felt sorry for older people with no English struggling to get help. Seriously understaffed airport and zero customer service ethos. Management here should visit other airports and see how their systems work!
It has become much bigger, fresher since I flew last last year. Now that you have checked in, it is full of restaurants, pubs & shops. Like a shopping street. Unfortunately, too few smoking rooms. So the single that I saw was crowded with people all the time.
High sense of style. Very beautiful and clean!! We fell in love!
Stockholm Arlanda Airport (ARN) is an international airport between Uppsala and Stockholm. It was opened in 1962. It is the largest center for Scandinavian Airlines. It is about 40 kilometers (25 miles) north of Stockholm. Arlanda has four terminals. Terminals 2 and 5 are for international flights. Terminal 3 is for regional airlines. Terminal 4 is for national or domestic flights.
I had to take a flight in December and the terminals are currently almost empty. Unfortunately, also most of the services are closed and it was difficult to find anyone to ask. I would therefore advice to come in time even when there is almost no waiting time.
Departing Sunday morning for a domestic flight, the airport was a kinda sleepy. However, no queues, no hustle, no stress. The restaurant in the waiting area is good to survive.
No decent shops, no decent cafes/restaurants, carpet, no escalators, slow, ugly and inefficient
Unreasonably high prices. Some hilariously constructed passages (term 2). Poorly maintained toilets!
A fine airport, except the smoking booth is the size of two cats.
The airport is open 24 hours a day and there are more destinations than at other airports.
Most things work very well, although there are a lot of people. There are restaurants and toilets that are also cleaned. But as always you have to be in very good time at the airport. Everything takes time, but Arlanda is much better than many other major airports I've traveled from.
Good airport, you can go home from here. Highly recommend New Orleans restaurant while you wait.
50 eur by Bolt taxi app from the Tallink terminal or city center. Less trouble thank by original train. Worth it after you have at least two passengers.
Use my invite code, RQNKP, and get a free Bolt ride up to 5 .
I stayed in SkyCity for 16 hours. It's such a good place with good and healthy food selections, comfortable lounge areas, friendly staff and free high speed WiFi.
Not far from city center and easily accessible with train to/from center.
Well managed airport. One of the best I've been to. Security proccessing is rapid. Your usual airport cafeterias and shops. There is WIFI which is at an ok level for browsing.
The architecture of the airport is spacious in a way that it never feels overcrowded, even if there are a lot of people. Therefore you can get your bags quickly, pass the security etc.
The airport has direct connections for most of places around (even in a distance of several hundred kilometers/miles). Note! Purchase your bus tickets online. Train tickets can be bought on spot.
Medium sized airport with tight corridors, small spaces, not many seating, bad signage, old and unatractive. There are some good stores and restaurants. Recommend not to check in luggage when traveling to Arlanda as the wait at the baggage claim is always slow, no matter what time it is or how many flights have arrived. Travel to and from the airport is good with diffrent kind of buses, trains and taxi are available. But if you want to take the fastest travel option, the train, it will be very expensive and not recommended.
This is my local airport unfortunatly :(
I flew from Dubai to here. Had to wait for 45 minutes for the luggage. One of the longest wait time across the globe.
Dubai International airport is better, nice. But this olso not bad...
Quite a few flights that came which was bad because I wanted to do some plane spotting. Hoped for more flights but please
Nice airport but boring not that many shops..small ,easy to find your way.. Frendly people...
Beer costs 8/12 euros ??!
Don't go there! Not worth it at all.
The desire for early check-in at the airport in Arlanda is reduced to absurdity. Baggage acceptance will be opened 90 minutes before departure, although the counters are already displayed. One can give early appearance, moreover, since there are hardly any seats outside the gates. As compensation, there are then long waiting times at the security checkpoint.
A bit messy right now with renovations. But I suppose it's the right time for it.
Outdated and not adapted to the amount of travelers. On the way to Barcelona for the security check had to wait more than an hour, and was infinitely long queue. Total failure for those in charge.
Spaces around departure gates are completely inadequate.
The security staff behave as they own travelers and can treat in any way.
The toilets are disgusting and smell bad, and have not been done for a long time to improve the situation.
Arlanda is not worthy of being the airport for the Nordic region's largest city.
The old piers are always crowded. People slalom is best done without massive carry-on suitcases.
I hate this airport, especially when flying domestically and going international or vice versa. It is quite tricky to take the bus between the terminals. The airport is not big but the architect should get a punch in the stomach for the design... If you planing trips avoid connecting flights at Arlanda. It is also very tricky to get to the care renting office, you need to take a buss... I hope Stockholm will build a new airport!
Assistance for people with travel problems, Excellent.
So stupid, You gotta go through security again if in transit. The line is miles long.
A congested airport. It needs better organization sand improvement by assigning separates allspice for arrivals and departures
the people are nice, the weather is going well there is some snow further it's good food here.
