So far only good experiences. The signage is good, so that one finds himself mostly easy to cope. Only the walkways are sometimes designed very heavily on the duty-free shops and shops. If you are in a hurry, you run here unnecessarily long. The staff was always very friendly and accommodating. The washrooms were always quite clean.

+ Nice airport, bright and modern design, good views of the tarmac. + Good shops with Swedish arts and crafts. + Friendly personnel.
- The layout is very tiring - buses and trains start from the middle concourse, everything else requires quite a lot of dull walking, interrupted by stairs up and down. - Food choice is limited.
Rather frustrated by staff who refuse to help with a lost item on a flight instead refer me to a company that will send the item to me, knowing full well it was only minutes ago since I walked off the flight. Will be avoiding SAS in future.
One of the best airports I've ever flown through. It's beautiful and really sets the tone for entering Sweden! The craftsmanship and interior design of International Terminal is immaculate... I've never seen anything like it. All the signs were easy to follow and were written in both Swedish & English.
Arlada International Airport a few kilometers outside Stockholm, Sweden. It is one of the largest in Europe. From what the Scandinavian alliance has funded through SAS. However, the cleanliness and quality of service are given out by compromises.
Taxis are expensive when you enter the city from Arlanda Airport and back to the airport, but taxis are recommended. The smoking room is small with 6-7 glass tubes in the garden
Staffs posted at the X-ray/luggage scanning area were not very friendly and were very inconsiderate. I would understand that they they removed my face cream, my 2 year old daughter's body lotion, her sunscreen and her shampoo although i was allowed to take them with us from EuroAirport Basel Mulhouse Freiburg. But taking her sterilized water too that was needed for her milk? My daughter even cried asking why did the lady took her tumbler. Which had me telling her that the lady will pour her water but will give back her tumbler!
Maybe finally everything will return to normal. Forced forced night at the airport. Almost everything is closed. A few shops open and one restaurant but after 20 we have a poor chance of a good meal. Hot dogs were the rescue. Unfortunately, until the planes start flying normally, nothing will change. It is difficult to demand that everything be active for the handful of people I met in the evening. Compared to the time before the virus, we can say that the airport is ghost. I advise you to stock up on food because only sweets from without a tag is a bit too little for a longer stop.
It is good that there is a clear goal that Arlanda will be Scandinavia's leading airport, but then you should invest in lifting the terminals to the same level as other, more modern airports that focus on internal transports (rolling belts, monorail between the terminals and like) to facilitate the transfer passengers. With the exception of T2, Sky City and the newer parts of the T5, Arlanda is an outdated, tired and boring airport. Arlanda is certainly excellent as a final destination, but as a transfer nav no higher. Flashy offices in all honor, but they do not get the problems on Arlanda to disappear. Feel free to study at other airports with the same terminal system and see how they have solved the problems. One star for friendly staff, one star for the line and one star for usually good prices from here. However, the basic things for passenger comfort and service leave a lot to be desired. The terminals first. The office later. Do again do right. Milk Amsterdam-Schiphol properly on ideas about cooperation with those still in progress.
Sky City, nice place to eat. However, a bit expensive. At the gate little seats, even at the toilets they have saved. Good coffee at Gate 4 with space outside.
Clean, modern, and efficient airport to transit in. Signage is mostly clear (can be confusing in a few places, though), plenty of shops and restaurants, and ample views of the tarmac are possible. The passport control for non-Schengen flights was very quick, with hardly any line despite several departures in that period.
Nice airport that feels modern. Ocker prices most of the time (with relatively few options and mediocre quality) shopping, parking and transportation, although it has improved somewhat in recent years, draws the rating down.
Another airport, like many others in Europe, that lives on monopoly status - so there is no burning desire to improve operational efficiency, for example many times had to wait for gate (although plane landed on time).
On the more strategic side things work, connections are OK with both direct train to Stockholm Central and SJ national rail passing by.
Stockholm Arlanda Airport is a large and a well connected airport. You can quickly reach Stockholm city centre by taking the Arlanda Express train from the aiport.
I don t know how anyone, but Arlanda, in my opinion, is a very convenient airport. Not budgetary, but like everything the Swedes are very thoughtful. Permanent communication with Stockholm both by train and bus. Convenient and reliable.
This airport is really organised. If you are in transition go to Sky City to eat or shop. If you are checking in and theres a long line at the F26- and up gates in the right part of the airport go to the left 1-12 gates. Only few minutes walk and goes quicker.
One of the best airports in Europe. Passenger seating is comfortable and plentiful, with plenty of quiet areas for reading and relaxing. Work stations (desks with power/usb and wifi) are available throughout the terminals.
You don't have to walk more than a couple of hundred metres to find a toilet either.
The only downside is the same in most airports: food costs a fortune.
The free WiFi here is not unlimited. I waited for the airport for a long time due to the delayed and cancelled. And the data can only be used for about two hours (searching for some information).
Judging from my experience, flying in the afternoon on a weekday, the airport can't keep up with the number of people using it. It seems inefficiently organised with unnecessary queues everywhere.
Very clean and efficient airport, with clearly marked signs. The only drawback is that the staff there are a little cold. Well, the immigration officers are actually frozen, good luck getting a response to your "hello".
I didn't have a great experience catching an international departure out of Terminal 5. The security screening was slow and rather chaotic (staff did nothing about people pushing in line and shoving other people's bags down the belt) and unless you had an EU passport you then had to wait in a very long line to clear passport control (only one person checking non-EU passports, slowly and methodically examining each one!). The "premium" lounge after passport control was small and rudimentary and the shops and other facilities around the gates were quite basic. Just a clinical place for processing passengers, and rather slowly at that.
One of the worst passport control systems I have ever encounted. There were 3 booths open for hundreds of waiting passengers with no lines, only a mass of angry travelers. There is no fast track for business or first class passengers. Waiting times were over 1.5 hours. Really pathetic compared to other first world international airports.
The airport is relatively small compared to many European cities. It has 5 terminals, the terminals are distributed by company. Mostly the busiest 2 and 4. There is a big life-style between these terminals, but I ll tell you about it later. The transitions between the terminals are quite long, but due to the excellent logistics simple. As in many European airports there are very few night flights, so if you have an early flight of up to 7-8 hours, do not even expect to drink coffee, not to mention everything else. Now about moving between terminal 2 and 4, there is such a miracle as Arlanda Express, it runs in 10-15 minutes for free. And why I will tell you a miracle in another comment for those who have 12 hours docking, or just want to stay in Stockholm for a couple of days.
Never thought I would wish I could teleport myself to Newark International instead, but here we are...Amazing city, horrible airport. Nowhere is perfect, but you could at least try to care about people stuck there. From the design to the lack of services available, it seems like some vague artistic attempt to bring the sh***iness of being on a plane down to waiting to board it.
Most important airport in Sweden. From here it goes out into the world and from the world you usually travel to Sweden here. If you come from Germany and want to continue to a domestic airport in Sweden, then you have to check out completely and check in again. The reason is that you do not have customs officers on hand at every domestic airport and do so centrally in Arlanda. This procedure is a bit cumbersome and you usually have to switch to another terminal. If you come from a domestic airport and would like to travel further into the world, this procedure is not necessary. But then the right gate has to be found. In order to be faster, you should then use the shuttle bus. The business volume is good and so is the airport service. The car rental companies and parking garages can be reached with a free shuttle bus.
The Airport has 2 domestic terminals and 2 International terminals.a good website.informative staff.Express train from central Stockholm.busses run on time.expanding its flight destinations.like it
Loads of options for shopping and food too. Easy to find the gates and also the staff is helpful. The self check In and self baggage drop option is easy. Saves time too.
Everything are literlali cost triple and there are very bad options for communication to city. How you do it will end up with take taxi. To mentios car parking alternaralt is very bad and also super expensive. Otherwise Arlanda is nice to travel from and quite avarage. And personal are kind most of the times and flying from and to as passager to a flight works fine.
2nd of January people were waiting for security check in a line that went through the whole of check in and half back. Excuse: security staff reported in sick!
