Decent airport, but needs a refresh and the taxis are a ripoff

It's easy to manage even if you don't know the language

its a ok airport, when we arrived at the airport the staff there are friendly telling us where to go.The security was fantastic i didn t like the idea of the virtual security lady projecting while we wait for around 15 minutes for the security. The airport is kinda boring theres not many activities to do after security but before security, the sky city mall is ok as well not a fancy airport but stuff are average.

I've flown in and out of Arlanda Airport on several occasions. Very modern airport with everything close by. Very easy passing through from getting off the aircraft to picking up your luggage. Onward travel to central Stockholm is very easy on the Arlanda Express. 20mins and your in central Stockholm.

Very expensive airport. The security check can go faster though, Well cleaned on T5 as there are a lot of people going in and out of the airport, fast boarding

Arlanda Express was do much better than taxi. Even printed my boarding pass before boarding. Free WiFi. Lots of seat room

Bus shelters would be welcome instead of standing in the rain! Otherwise lovely airport !

I had to get the ticket for my transfer flight here without getting out of the passport control. Problem was, none of the staff here seemed to know where I could get the ticket(the airline was not serviced by SAS counter). I asked around and all of them were like, "oh, it's none of my business, you find out for yourself." One of then wouldn't even let me finish a single sentence and just waved me away.

I usually had pleasant experiences with the Scandinavian airports but certainly not with this one. Staff were so unhelpful and uncaring as well as lacking in knowlege and professionalism.

Only the lady at the cafe was nice and friendly.

Very good airport you should fly from or to Sweden you should use Arlanda

Extremely slow check in and very oddly laid out. Our boarding gate was moved without any notification. Not a bad airport, just really odd.

The best airport in Stockholm, probably one of better ones in Sweden. A very happy place as there's a 50% that you are leaving.

Big airport but has good signage. Just remember you got to take a shuttle bus to your car rental place.

"(To) old Swede" is this airport. Built in the Ikea style of the past, dreary, not too big, but still quite confusing and with long footpaths. But toilets are mostly clean.

Had flight at 4:50 am from Terminal 5. Last bus from Stockholm city leaves at 22:00 (and goes empty because all the evening flights are gone), and after that you're locked at the airport entry where nothing operates. We couldn't even pass security. Security gate opened at 3 am and that was all. No lounge (lounges operate at working hours mostly, none of them works overnight), no caffee, no shop was open. It may be logical that opening it all for two flights is of no sense, but then the question is whether Stockholm really needs three airports as Arlanda is not packed at all to operate

The price level is a joke, but you have to be prepared for that at an airport. The offer is good at terminal five, but other terminals may not be so much to hang in the Christmas tree. You can still not help but be in a good mood when you come to Arlanda as it means that you are on your way out on an adventure! It usually goes smoothly through the security check.

A little confusing. You have to drive through the duty-free, then half a kilometer through the gastro / shopping area, until you finally arrived at the gate. After all, the security check was fast.

The drive into the city is quite expensive. With more than 3 people, the taxi is even cheaper and recommended. This also applies to the return to the airport! Incidentally, the Arlanda Express was canceled on our return trip.

Otherwise everything went smoothly.

A perfect place to spend the summer, the ultra pleasant temperature, the people very nice and careful about covid-19. There are many parks and shopping centers to visit in addition to many cycle paths that cross the entire city with which you can enjoy good views of both monuments and historical buildings within the city and beautiful landscapes on the outskirts. 100% recommended.

One of the nicer airports I have been to. Excellent, clean bathrooms. Pretty well organized, the international terminal has quite a long walk to the gates. Make sure to arrive plenty early as the international terminals have extra security checks and long walks.

Checkout signage for the parking garages as in the whole of Arlanda. It is unbelievable that it is allowed to be so. The barrier to the garage also did not go up even though the system recognized our pre-booking. Long time on the phone before someone was able to answer to solve the problem. And all at Arlanda's usual extraction prices.

Quite nice, not too clowded, many place to stay if you want to overnight or have a early morning flight.

Here also have the weight measure machine, so you can measure the weight of your lagguge before check in :) its free to use. On terminal 5, there are 2 of them.

Relatively hyffsad airport, clean and quite efficient except for slow baggage handling at arrival and long check-in times if you are unfortunate enough o go with a company that uses the SAS check

Arlanda is usually the only choice when flying to / from Stockholm (the other possible option being Bromma). Functional and expensive.

One way to the city Arlanda express can be purchased on weekends for groups of two or more.

Great airport with space and quality. The new department of the airport is really nice with beautiful modern design. The staff though and especially the employees of the security section need to work on the service. You can't have a vision "Our vision is to create inspiring meetings with vicinity to the whole world" when you can hardly smile. I don't think that the concept of "customer" has been infiltrated in the mentality of the staff.

Really slow security check. Also, I was forced to remove my toiletry bag from my suitcase and place it in the boxes, which were really dirty, without using any cover. The security guard opened it with his hands, without wearing any gloves, and started touching everything in order to check them. In my opinion they should at least wear gloves. Overall it is a really nice airport and very easy to navigate.

All flight operations are now centralized in Terminal 5, which is why security queues are long queues. KLM self-check-in did not work, but check-in at the counter went quickly.

Probably the worst airport and staff! Embarrassingly Sweden ...

I have used this airport two times and both times got bad expirience. First time one airport lady stopped big clue on stairs and I had to run to my next plane because of delay. After some hard words she let me go. Second time I was flying again from Dublin to Tallinn via Stockholm and I don't understand why I have to go back to security check

Do not ever take a taxi at the airport, it's a shame that the mafia allow. The airport knows it, the police do nothing in the case of fraud. Worst airport ever if you arrive after midnight, or you have a flight before 7am.
Customs for tax free are in another building outside the airport. Long ride, long walk.

Pretty small airport, you arrive at your boarding gate, few shops to make your last minute purchase, several coffee shops to eat and drink something while you wait, and better take a good book because you can not look

Very modern and well organised airport. Excellent connnection with Stockholm Central. Clean and big. Just be aware that it is one of the airports where you need to walk a few minutes but it goes together with the size.

Signage is unclear. There are very few working escalators. They made us go through security twice for no apparent reason. Not such a pleasant experience.

A small airport with few options for the traveler waiting, I have visited twice this year and both without many options. The best without a doubt the connection to the city center of Stockholm by train with the ARLANDA EXPRESS.

Almost impossible to park and drop someone who requires help. Service in the airport is horrible. Staff is sitting and just looking at you when you ask for help.

Always ages to bring the luggage which made me miss my connecting flights twice out of three times!!!

The cheapest way to get to Stockholm is by Flygbussarna bus, which departs every 10 minutes and departs 45 minutes to the Central Station (back - same route). Tip - Get 99 CZK tickets in advance online or in the app, valid throughout the month. Tickets will cost 119 kronor at the airport.

Every time, and I mean Every Time everything goes slower than every other airports in the world!
Passport control goes slow, you may argue that they are thorough with security, ok, thank you Arlanda! But why should we wait for our luggage 3 times longer than other airports? Why? Because you are so lazy?
It's a international airport, why all the signs are only in Swedish? It may take them more than an hour to give you your luggage but they are very quick to write you parking ticket! Not nice!

Terminal 5 is a good place to start your journey. There's a lot of shopping opportunities and a decent selection of restaurants and coffee shops.

The Swedes are friendly and serviceminded and they make you feel welcome.

The price level is of course Scandinavian so no shock there ;-)
