My home airport, and I have mixed feelings about it. One one hand: The design is nice, and it's a quiet airport with no airport wide boarding announcements. On the other: The security lines can be ridiculously long at times, and the prices are outrageous. Paying 75 SEK (~10 USD) for a cheese baguette is crazy. Not even Max, which normally is a decent hamburger place, is good since it's a franchise run by the same company that runs most establishments at Arlanda. For transport to Stockholm: there are buses that are comfortable and take about 50 minutes, there's Arlanda Express, the express train that takes 20 but costs so much that you're better off taking a cab if you're a party of two or more (unless Arlanda Express has some special offer) - and since Taxi Stockholm has started with Tesla cars, it can be as eco friendly as the train. There's also the commuter trains that take 45 minutes and cost about the same as the bus.

It is an airport that allows a correct flow of users; There is a lot of order. The communication, as is obvious, is mainly in Swedish but English is the international language.
It has access to taxis, buses and the train terminal.

The cafeterias are quite basic, there is not great variety but they are good to satisfy the stomach temporarily.
Perfect cleaning; It has cabins for smokers.

60 minutes queue for bag drop. You know how many passengers are departing. You know how much time is needed per passenger. So why don't you open more check in desks? You seem to save expenses and you don't worry about health (Covid) and comfort of your customers. Unacceptable!

A deserted airport, closed shops, few flights, Covid-dead. Their baggage handling is cash. I have flown a lot, I can promise. Not infrequently very long wait on arrival. On Friday 16/10 2020, they managed with the More

An international airport in the north of Stockholm, the capital of the Kingdom of Sweden, with all international airlines flights landing. It contains 5 lounges for travel, markets, bus stations and a fast express train that carries you to and from Stockholm, taxis and communication companies.

Unpleasant staff who have no heart when a child is crying in front of their eyes. I just want to start by saying that I am ashamed of Stockholm Arlanda Airport, is really dissatisfied since the last visit. Get it!

From the most visitor friendly airport. Clean, with reception staff almost everywhere and nice last-minute shopping. Like everything in town of course very expensive. There is a train and bus that takes you directly to the city center.

I live in Stockholm, I am brown and so this is, sadly, the airport I have to use at least 10-12 times a year. This is the most racist airport I have ever been to. Staff will be very sweet and smiling and very polite to all whites, if you think that is treatment you are getting being next in line, forget it, dream on. The minute its your turn, the smile disappears, the word thanks also seems to have disappeared altogether from vocabulary, poliiteness, being civil??? and they will check you, swipe ur hands, bag etc for narcotics, terrorism, ??? saying random check- of 600 whites, I am the random one, yes. I am randomly checked, yes, now and then!!! Makes me sick!

Free WiFi and the signal is strong. Take note that the passport control is after duty free shopping, so don't shop till you forget the time. You need to take into account the time for queuing at the passport control. Swedish people are known for their punctuality, as such, unlike other airport, they will print the exact boarding time which is half an hour before departure in my case. This is unlike other airports which normally print a much earlier boarding time.

And not very big, but not very small either. An airport that is very understandable and accessible. Easy transitions. Shops and cafes for every taste. Have a nice time before the flight - it will work out. The only thing that is not very clear to me is the prices in duty-free. Prices are in SEK only. Too bad not in euros. I had to transfer from one currency to another several times.

It was good. But it is being built so we could not go directly to terminal 5. You had to walk around to another entrance further away towards terminal 4 to get to terminal 5. We got our luggage after a longer wait but everyone survived.

Going through security the man there made me throw away my deodorant, packs of tuna, and was smirking at me and said "you should know better, if you think you will not do these obvious things." Kept giving me demeaning looks and general attitude. In my opinion he seemed to take pleasure in my sadness if losing my items and was rough about it. Would not spend my money here again. They need customer service training and to be more humane.

It is clean, modern. But staff there had a tendency to me hostile and unfriendly without cause. I am a human just like them.

Good airport. Good signage, not so much confusion. The airport is still very big and it can be a bit difficult to find sometimes, of course, but there are always staff to ask and the signage will usually be able to guide you. Crowded with shops and restaurants around the airport. Getting here can be done by train and bus and there is no problem with car either.

Very attractive. The "Welcome to my hometown" campaign is particularly charming. The prices in the newspaper shops in the public area are absolutely fair. There is an almost lounge atmosphere in the gate area. If you are lucky, you can take a seat on one of the Egg Chairs. Dark parquet is laid.

An ok airport. However it is a very large airport especially terminal 5 alone is huge. Improvement can be done from signage point of view - luckily it was not my first time passing through the airport, but sigange for the lounges are terrible and the transfer desk (or the lack of it) - only SAS seems to have a transfer desk behind security. Other than the SAS lounge which opens until the last flight of the day, the other lounges are closed - so the last few flights after 10 pm, you'll most probably be given a voucher to get something from one of the remaining late opening cafes/bar. Other than that, an ok airport.

Very new!
