Its not even remotely close to Stockholm, extremely long walks to top it off

Very poorly organized! Me and at least 15 other passengers have missed flights because SAS worked too slowly on check-in. Have been standing in line for 1 hour, have said before that I want to find my flight, but they didn't care. Big discussions afterwards o they said it was wrong from Lufthansa, not SAS. But the fact is, they knew that many people needed boarding cards because their self check in terminal and online boarding didn't work!

Great airport - clean, staff polite, very spacious, plenty of seats, modern, toilets clean, easy access to the train station, well signposted. definitely the best airport in Stockholm.

Well arranged despite pandemic, all traffic from terminal 5 and perfectly ok range of shops and restaurants open. Safety control both up and down for better flow and being able to keep distance.

Terminal 4: two toilets, queens in the queue (only those), disaster! Crowded everywhere ...

What you can expect. Nice but too expensive and the taxfree shops at terminal 4...you must be kidding!

It is very clean and giant. There are all kinds of stores very well!

Security are bad mannered and bullish..staff in general around the aiport below par!

Unpleasant and unhelpful staff at the entrance to terminal 4 for boarding in the morning of January 14. Ask for lift up to the terminal. Had suffered stroke 2 weeks before. Gets problems down balance and coordination when I get tired. So the stairs were not so tempting to take, after traveling for 13 hours. Got no response from staff. A security guard wanted to help but didn't know how it worked. So we went wrong. When we got back to the inboarding, we were wrong after receiving a reluctantly unpleasant response from the staff. She thought it could do even
a child of. Found an elevator after boarding. Not with the help of the staff but the security guard said where there can be an elevator.

The worse signage I have ever seen at an airport. If you rent a car and need information about where to go, best advice is to not visit this shambles of an airport as they expect you to be a mind reader.

It seems as if all flights depart from terminal 5. Check that you get it right.

Convenient departure to Stockholm or in other direction. The Arlanda Express express train is 20 minutes from the capital. There are also many bus routes. Many private car parks are a network of Tesla gas stations.
Especially impressive is the entrance to the airport, all the doors open automatically, the road is accompanied by various guidebooks and you will not get lost here.
The airport itself is divided into several terminals and there is no very high load by humans. Tickets can be purchased at terminals or through cash desks. In buildings there are cafes and many toilets in which are clean and neat with equal opportunities for all segments of the population, that is, if a parent or mother goes with a baby then in the toilet can replace the diapers of the child. Here, there are all amenities for people traveling on business or on a tourist trip.
Separate issue of currency exchange; if you come here from the euro or the dollar then in order to exchange them in local currency you need to pay a commission of SEK 50 per one purchase or sale.
But overall, the impression is very positive.

Nice airport, very big. Bad staff and arrangement of flights had to wait 6 and a half hours before I got on the plane I was going to take. Employees move boarding to different gates and change the position of the boarding spot all the time round. Not enough seating for passengers on a plane. Not recommended at the highest. The shops have little choice of vegetarian and halal food.

Bad with parking to get picked up. Unreasonably expensive!

This has to be one of the worst airport's in the world solely due to it's ridiculous security times and poor signposting. Security takes almost 2hrs with sometimes only 2 or 3 booths open. We made it to the gate with just 5mins to spare. Transit directions are useless. Would never travel through here ever again. Get your act together.

Be aware that if you haven't yet done your checking and have no tag for luggage, staff can ask you to try get it from auto checking system which will NOT give you anyway and you can lose your flight like I did thanks to SAS irresponsible staff!!

The pure chaos. Plan at least 3 hours!

The airport is far too small to handle travelers. You have to go through several security checks and passport control, even though it was a flight from Stockholm to Frankfurt. There are hardly any advertisements, the announcements are very rare. The staff can't help you either. The crew of my flight was completely annoyed and only complained about the staff. Rightly so!

The toilets are dirty and smelly! The food is completely overpriced and tastes terrible. You have to look for warm dishes; Andersson advertises hot dishes, but doesn't have any during the day. Otherwise there are only sandwiches.

The end of the airport that I have traveled from and I think it is nice and you get there in the world you want from here! :)

It's an ok airport, it's hard to give a good review of anywhere when you sit in a plane for 12 hours and have to sit in terminal for another 4 hours. it's better than heathrow's luxury shopping terminal 3.

Good. Plenty of places to eat. Loved the desk with lamps for reading and charger places for pc.

Excellent Transit experience in Terminal 5.
Helpful and polite staff.
Free one hour WiFi access and water fountain by duty free area. USB charging ports available in most areas.
Variety of food and refreshments in the food court area.
Lots of seating areas around and free Wii games in one of the areas.
No queues and clean restroom.
Smooth and easy boarding to gates.

Beautiful airport, one of the best I've flown through. Loved taking the Arlanda Express train from Stockholm.

One of the more upscale airports in Sweden. Easy and quick access from Stockholm by train (Arlanda Express). Plenty of outlets to charge your phone.
Sadly, one of the slowest airports when it comes to getting your baggage on the band.

Terminal 2 was the worst international airport experience in my life. Inconveniences in every corner, everything is so slow: security inspection, passport control, boarding.

An empty airport today. Sad too see all these stores to be closed.

Everything is fine here for normal passengers except for passengers with family.
Every single family needs to check in the baby cart, stroller, baby seat in long queues even you have checked in everything online in advance. Not sure, what could be the reason for that but its extremely irritating. If you really wants families to be in the queue with small babies, then make a completely separate line.

They lost my suitcase, after a couple of years, they never found it...

I got take-away scrambled eggs with salmon: the lady put in the bag two knives and no other cutleries - how exactly was I supposed to eat ? Shall I use the knives as chopsticks ? The box was not closed properly so the liquid leaked in the bag and no napkins. Thank you but never again. Food was mediocre also.

Great airport !! Not so much stuff before the security control but after that tons of cafes restaurants and comfortable places to sit. The bad thing is that everything closes too early in comparison to other world class airports

I was on a layover here once going to Crete, Not the best experience i ever had. The Swedish are cold and not very Friendly so that kind of turned me off to the country. Your first impression is most important when you meet someone for the first time and my first impression of the Swedish people was negative.

Nefarious, exaggeratedly high prices, little cleaning and the sale of alcohol in the duty free is not allowed. Of the worst in Europe

A rather weak tree ... Excessively expensive food and really sunny toilets. The Arlanda Express is expensive as hell. There are worse airports but there are significantly better ones as well.

Always takes the longest time of all airports to get your luggage at Arlanda

Sometimes very long distances, but a lot of friendliness. The worst was that you couldn't get a rental car directly at the airport, but first had to look for the corresponding bus (outside in the rain) and only then was brought to the rental car center, about 5 to 6 stops away. So all the luggage through the rain, in and out of the bus. Impossible!!!!!

Loved this airport very easy to navigate. Just to be clear we were non native speakers. We managed and so will you. Visit Sweden the train ride from Arlanda was marvelous and scenic.

This used to be a good airport back in the days but now it's just terrible. To mention some examples. As soon as you for some reason cannot check-in in the self-service machines you are asked to go to the Check-in support, which is low prioritised, slow going with unengaged employees. Easy to get crowded. I really don't understand where all those project money goes. Swedavia: Leave this mission to somebody else! Or at least, put a smile on your employees!!

Well designed, can be a bit far to go between terminal 2 and 5, but there are buses anyway.

The airport is great. Large selection of airlines and flights. Most cashiers speak Russian, buying a ticket is not a big deal, especially for people without knowledge of English. The waiting period for the aircraft passes almost imperceptibly, a lot of cafes, free Internet. Sellers in stores make pleasant discounts. Important information for travelers to Ukraine: "By purchasing a UIA ticket, register yourself for the flight through their website and receive a code on your Kewar smartphone that will go to the Duty Free zone, otherwise you will be charged 100 kroons." I recommend everyone to use this airport!

Think it is a pretty high fee to enter through the lock if you take a commuter train from Stockholm. Unnecessarily expensive.

This is what an airport should be and offer to all travelers passing by. Plenty of places to sit down and rest. Lots of welcoming space and rooms. You feel a kind of relief and prepare yourself for the trip.

This is the heart of Scandinavia with Scandinavian design, comfort. I order and structure. Clean and fresh everywhere.

Announcements are clear with understandable pronunciation. They really know how to communicate in an environment like this.

One of the best airports I have visited and we plenty of time there on a lay over. The shops, places to eat and drink, are all comforting and a variety to choose from. Lots to do and see before our connecting flight.

The airport is serviced by all things, but it imposes a fee on arrivals on trains that do not calculate the entry tariff as a UL train card
Entrance fee is 130 kronor

A little longer to go now during Corona adaptation and very large at terminal 5 compared to terminal 4, but better in terms of service and space than Bromma.

Fraud by Kiss Airlines travel agency at Arlanda airport:
I bought the flight ticket of SAS (SK2679) from the Kiss Airlines office at Arlanda Airport, Terminal 2, this afternoon. My reason for using your service was that I was late for my previous flight operated by Eazy Jet. The desk staff offered the aforementioned SAS flight with the quoted price of 2,500 crowns. Out of panick, I bought the flight. However, I later found out that the SAS website offers the same flight for only 1,600 crowns. So this highly inflated price is unacceptable.

I was told that this price did not include luggage check in charge. I doubted that something was wrong because the price was unusually high, but I did not raise this issue out of panick.

The staff also failed to provide me a receipt, which I did not realised until later again due to stresses caused my lateness.

These issues show the lack of ethics and honesty. I am not sure if this is a private conduct by your employee or it is your company's policy. But this puts a name bad on the Arlanda airport and Sweden itself.

It is not bad airport if you want to see the city, it has a bus that leaves you in the center of Stockholm.

This must be the most dire airport, the one member of staff appear stressed, because she was the only one on the bag drop. Long line of passengers waiting, even though we had already booked in on the screens.
Cafe area is depressing, toilets smell awful.
Chaos whilst arriving passengers need to go between passengers waiting to leave at departure gate.

Arlanda.
For starters, the environment. Sure, of course, the environment is messy but it does matter at an airport!
All stressed people who come and go do not feel better if the environment is stressful, confusing, etc.
Then I thought about sharing my "experience" from Arlanda.
Me and some friends would go to Denmark from Arlanda, the flight would go at 13:00 and we would arrive at about 16:00.
Then we hear a voice - "The flight is about half an hour late". Well, it was boring, but that is life, we think and remain for a while. We do a little cooking but then the crowd seals around the street, and it gets incredibly sweaty.
So it ends with us sitting in the cafeteria among 300 other confusing people, completely soaked with sweat, lack of liquid and low blood sugar, if I remember correctly, he thinks one of the children is watching a whole movie, "Vaiana" or "Waiana" think I said it was called, say, two hours long movie.
So we left the airport, not at 13, not at 14, not at 15, but at 16, and arrived, yes, know the seventeen when it was, around 20:00 we must have checked into the hotel.

The kids got a panic and needed to get something to eat, they were completely shaky and cried. So children in their 6s are talking about here.
But yes, thank you for the fantastic Denmark trip you gave us, at least!

(So, yes, I complain about ETT delayed flight. Honestly, I have never traveled with Arlanda without it being at least 10 minutes late. So I have the right to complain I think!)

fast connection from stokholm to the airport. we took this train and all wagons where clean, at 22.00 the train was nearly empty, still pretty new looking. it took us only 20 minutes for the ride, much better and faster then a taxi. if you like it cheaper take the bus instead. we took the offer 2 for 300sek.
