Got my dress here last week. The only dress shop I wanted to go to so I traveled nearly an hour to go. My dream dress wasn't on the rail. But I tried on lots of others and fell in love with something totally different. Lauren was amazing helping me out. Definitely recommend x

Came to Butterflies after seeing such beautiful dresses advertised and hearing good reviews. Travelled from Newcastle and the shop was very accommodating with appointment times. First experience looking at wedding dresses and being on my own as family could not make it i felt very over whelmed but i was very quickly put to ease by Jess. Very friendly and helpful member of staff who is a credit to the team. After 2 hours we found my dream dress and for an amazing price too. Honestly cannot recommend Jess and the company enough. Didn't know quite what to expect and wasn't really looking forward to dress shopping but I found the staff at Butterflies helpful, respectful and professional. I was immediately put at ease by Pauline who made my experience personal and relaxed. She was able to answer my questions and found my PERFECT dress, picked from a vast choice of dresses. Other staff were also helpful and if I'm honest I was looking to shop around, but there was no need. Everything was provided, from a listening ear to the dress and if needed, accessories. Just bought my wedding dress here this morning with the fantastic help of Lisa. She recommended the dress to me after i had picked out a few i was unsure of and it ended up being the one I have said yes to. She couldn't do enough for me, even helping me pick out my veil and my hairpiece. All 3 were even well below my budget! She was professional, welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for her. Loved the staff was very helpful and I found my dream dress. The lady in the shop was so kind and helped me in every way. I was so nervous and they made me feel so relaxed and at ease. I visited butterflies last Friday, i was greeted by Pauline who helped me pick out numerous different wedding dresses. Some my style, some that I wouldn t normally go for but we gave them all a go!
Pauline was lovely and was honest with her opinion on all dresses I tried on.
Butterflies along with one other shop were the only dress shops I had visited to view dresses all in the space of 3 hours.

Came here with my bridal party and had the loveliest experience. I was a bit nervous about trying on dresses for the first time but the girls made me feel completely at ease within minutes of arriving. The girl who served me helped me choose some dresses to try on and then found others once I d decided on a shape and style and helped me match suitable veils and tiaras to match and was really patient with me until I found my dream dress (which was also a lot cheaper than I d been given quotes for elsewhere as they re an outlet so everything is discounted even though the dress was brand new) My mother in law also found herself a gorgeous outfit in the mother of the bride room that was in the sale and a right bargain and we ve ordered our bridesmaid dresses from here too. They literally have everything under one roof and I would highly recommend here to anyone looking for a wonderful day out and to find their perfect dress for their wedding.

I told myself I wouldn t go dress shopping this early before my big day (2022), but the massive 50% discount sale was too enticing. I went just to have a look and see if there was anything I liked. Charlotte helped me pick out many many dresses, and listened to what I liked and didn t like. She encouraged me to try on a dress that I would have dismissed, and wow I m pleased she did. Yesterday, I had the BEST experience at Butterflies Bridal. As soon as my friends and are walked through the doors, we were warmly welcomed and I instantly felt at ease. This was my first experience of a bridal shop and I am over the moon that I had this appointment booked! I couldn't have asked for a better service. Becky was just the best at listening to everything I said I wanted and helped me find my perfect, dream dress. She was very patient and so kind. After trying on lots of different dresses, I was worried I wouldn't find the one. That was until Becky and the team went out of their way to find me another selection of beautiful dresses to try- one being my dress! The team were amazing at helping me with my decision and nothing was too much trouble for any of them. I didn't feel pressured and rushed once. They helped decide on my dream dress as well as pairing it with the perfect veil and hair piece. Their expertise and advise was so valued. I truly couldn't have asked for a better service. I feel so blessed to have had my experience at Butterflies- I wish I could do it all over again! Two weeks ago i was at work on my lunch break scrolling through Facebook and this wedding dress suddenly come up from a random wedding dress outlet that i follow. I got this butterfly feeling and my heart was telling me it was my dream dress! After calling my mum straight away and telling her about it i made the craziest decision to go ahead and buy it there and then without trying any wedding dresses on and not knowing what would or wouldn't suit me i messaged the shop on facebook messenger and throughout the weeks they have been so supportive and responded to my messages very quickly! Today it arrived and i had my first dress fitting, its the most gorgeous dress, the fit and everything about is just perfect im in love with it! So so happy i went with my heart and took the gamble i highly recommended this company xx
Having been to other shops I came to this one hoping that I would find the dream dress! And I did just that. The lady (Pauline? I think. I have terrible memory) explained I can look through at ones I fancy and she was also picking some that would suit me. Now I know the aim is to try and sell these dresses but when I was unsure she was very real and honest about which one framed me better and that's what you need. The other colleague in that day also came over to have a peak and was absolutely lovely. Can't fault my experience and best of all I found my wedding dress. Blocked from a wedding group for telling the truth ! I had an APPOINTMENT at this awful establishment ...I waited 40 minutes for the stuck up manageress and all i got was a young girl who did not have a clue ! I ended up walking out and bought a better dress elsewhere ..just after your money ..dirty dresses and ill fitting .im a size 10 and even a 14 would not fit properly . cheap Chinese dresses AVOID !!!!!!

The girls were absolutely amazing and was like having all your friends with you, I love my prom dress so so much and didn t feel rushed or judged at all! They all did their best and had an easy time finding a dress my size as I m a bigger girl, had an absolute ball and totally recommend to anyone who need prom or wedding dresses!

I visited this store during the sale weekend with my daughter who is getting married next year. I must say they have so much choice , much more than anywhere else we have visited. The shop is large and spacious and the staff were all so lovely. Not at all pushy and even though it was a busy day the lovely lady who was serving us was kind and patient finding jennifer more beautiful gowns to try on. And within the choices was a gown my daughter would not have chosen herself but was the one so thank you so much you have one very happy bride and brides mother.

Went to Butterflies today to get a dress for my 20 year vow renewal . I was very very nervous ! Choosing a wedding dress is nerve wracking at the best of times but being plus size it s awful ! Jess was amazing and made me feel just like any other normal size woman . There was plenty of plus size dresses to try on in lots of different styles . Jess gave very good advice about different adaptations that could be made to the dress in a helpful and knowledgeable way and checked with the seamstress that these changes could be done before I purchased the dress . A large amount of dresses to try in all different styles and sizes which made finding the dress easy as we could rule out different styles and all under one roof. Staff were helpful, patient and non pushy. I had to take my two young children with me which wasn't a problem and the ladies were very understanding. Bit of a travel for us but well worth it, my dress was amazing and a fraction of the price in other shops. Thank you.

Found my perfect dress here! As soon as I walked through the door I felt comfortable. Jess, the assistant made me feel at ease and offered advice when asked. The dress I found was not the style I was looking for but after advice I decided to try a different style.
All staff were brilliant as I had my 6 month old with me and they did everything they could to make us feel happy. Would definitely recommend anybody who is getting married to search here for their wedding dress!

After having a bad experience at a different place, I was really nervous to go dress shopping again. Butterflies was fantastic, all the staff were really lovely. Special thankyou to Jess, for helping me find my dress.
What I loved most was that I didn t feel at all pressured to buy (and actually left without a dress, and came back later to buy it). At other places I ve felt awkward leaving without buying a dress but that wasn t the case here.
Also loved that you have individual changing rooms where customers put the dress on themselves and just ask for help with zips etc. Other places you are just expected to strip in front of the sales person and it can be awkward. This also meant I could try dresses without a bra on when I couldn t at other places because I didn t feel comfortable with that.

First mother and daughter wedding dress shopping trip. Bit strange as we come out of lockdown but a relaxed and un pressured experience. Tried on many dresses that would then need to be sanitised before going back out, but there was no feeling of being rushed.
I bought my dress at the beginning of the year for my wedding on 1st september, can just say that the full process from choosing was effortless and the staff helped with finding my perfect dress. The staff understood what I was looking for and what would suit me. Would definitely recommend this bridal shop to anyone. The seamstress which is based here was also brilliant.

Bought my dress today with the help of the lovely Charlotte. The whole experience was brilliant - had no clue going into it what I wanted but I was given so much time, freedom, help, advice and general loveliness from Charlotte that it made it so easy. I tried on so many, even after I d found the one I wanted, and had a great laugh. The COVID-19 measures in place were great, we felt really safe and still completely comfortable. We found the staff very friendly and extremely helpful. Ours was an unusual request; we were helping our daughter, who lives in Canada, find a dress for her wedding in August. She was hoping to buy a wedding dress off the peg and we knew exactly what style she was looking for. We found two beautiful dresses, one on a mannequin and the other was just on a hanger. When we explained to the assistant, Erin, without hesitation she offered to put the hangered dress on a mannequin too so that we could take photos. Our daughter loved both dresses, but would have liked to see her favourite on a person before deciding. We returned the following day and after hearing our predicament, Rachael who was a similar size to our daughter, offered to model the dress for us. We took photos and our daughter loved the dress even more. It was exactly what she had been looking for.
