Kiri and the team were brilliant - professional, helpful, and kind. They have a fantastic selection of dresses and I found my perfect dress on my first trip. Kiri was involved in the vast majority of my visits and fittings and I appreciated that continuity with her and all of her help. We also ultimately purchased the bridesmaids' dresses here as well and the fittings and final result were great. I loved every minute in my dress on my wedding day and felt amazing because of it. Wonderful, friendly, honest customer service, a fantastic selection of beautiful dresses even for brides with a budget and tight timeframe, lovely spacious area to try on... I m so glad I called!

Tailors Cat was by far one of the best bridal shops that I visited to find my wedding dress. Unlike a number of the shops I visited, I had my own personal room, with a sofa, changing room, full length mirrors, shoes, a selection of veils and a plastic bouquet. The selection of dresses was marvellous and the team were so incredibly friendly and helpful. After seeing all the dresses I picked out, it was a member of staff who suggested that she had seen a dress she thought I might like, and she was right, it was perfect and ended up being the dress I bought! They were fantastic through the whole process. Due to shoe issues I had to go for a number of fittings and the staff were so wonderful every single time. I loved my dress and felt so beautiful in it. The staff at Tailors Cat made the process so much fun and choosing my dress was one of the highlights of the wedding prep. Thank you so much!!!

Thank you for working so hard to find me the perfect dress on Saturday. I really appreciate how you listened to what I liked about each dress and kept running to find me others to try on based on my feedback. I was beginning to think I'd never find a dress that met all my different requirements so am so happy that you managed to find one that I feel special in but that is also light enough to allow me to join in with the ceilidh. And even better that my whole family loved it too! I found it a lovely experience having our own room where I could try on dresses rather than having to come out into the shop in each one.

Not a great experience. Was made to feel like they had better things to do. Also none of the samples were pinned in place so couldn't see how they fit. Was made to feel like I was being fussy when I'm entitled to be about my wedding dress. Just poor customer service.

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to Emma, Sophie, and all the Tailor s Cat team. You made us feel so welcome and created such a joyful atmosphere the first day we chose the dress, and ever since have been flawlessly professional, knowledgeable, efficient, helpful and kind. Nothing was too difficult or rushed, you took time to get every last detail sorted and listened/made every effort to make me feel comfortable. Without doubt the best bridal shop in Cambrideshire!

I'm so pleased I chose to go to the Tailor's Cat for my wedding dress. I went following a recommendation from a colleague and they surpassed my dress expectations. After listening to all my suggestions, likes and dislikes it was actually the shop assistant Tamara who helped picked the perfect dress for me. They were all so friendly and professional throughout the whole process and I couldn't be more grateful. Emma, who dealt with all the alterations is so talented and created exactly what I had imagined!
Honestly could not be more impressed and had endless compliments about my dress I felt like a real life princess!

The team at Tailor s Cat are just wonderful. When I first started trying on wedding dresses, the whole process filled me with anxiety and we went to a couple of shops that were rather unpleasant. I was absolutely bowled away with everyone at Tailor s Cat though. They were not pushy in anyway and were so supportive and kind during the entire process. I did purchase my dress from them, and I am so pleased I did. Our wedding has been a casualty of COVID and we have had to postpone to next summer. Emma was just wonderful though in keeping me up-to-date on the where abouts of my dress; even during lockdown. We went up last week to collect it and I was so impressed with the precautions they are taking - my mum, sister and I felt very safe. I cannot thank them all enough for being so kind and caring during this all process. I would recommend them to any bride to be - such a lovely experience!!

I bought my wedding dress here and it was absolutely perfect. The staff really went out of their way to help me find exactly what I wanted, including all the accessories. I was really impressed with the care and attention during all the fittings - they really took the time to make sure it fitted perfectly, which was especially good as they were charging a flat rate. A friend has just got married with a dress from here and also had a great experience. Highly recommended!

After visiting a number of Designers in London it was such a pleasure to visit The Tailor's Cat for my sister's dress. She had three appointments over the course of a number of months and that was only to make her choice! Everyone that helped her was patient and kind and she was never rushed at all. We were impressed with the large selection that there was to choose from and the fitting rooms were huge! It was a lovely atmosphere and my mum and I got to sip on Bucks Fizz while my sister tried on dress after dress. Thank you for also entertaining my 4 year old, she loved trying on the flower girl dresses!! Can't wait for the fittings to start so we can visit again. I would highly recommend! Such a wonderful store and a perfect experience.

I had always dreamed of being a Tailors Cat bride, so when planning my wedding it was the only choice!
Kiri and the rest of the team were fantastic. The whole experience is exactly what every bride dreams of. Beautiful shop, individual large private dressing rooms and celebratory drinks on arrival. And that doesnt even cover the most amazing Wedding dresses you can find.
I knew my dress 'Willowby by Watters Galatea' was the one as soon as i put it on. It was everything I imagined and more.
After purchasing, Kiri was on hand to quickly respond to all my email queries.
The seamstresses were brilliant at adjusting my dress to fit me perfectly (and it is quite an intricate dress to change!).
I cannot recommend Tailors Cat enough. If you are a Bride to be...you MUST go there!

Just had a bridesmaids dress from here. Was completely measured up and finally got the dress, it doesnt fit properly, far too long and the straps constantly fall down. Oh and the zip doesn't work. Very cheap a nasty. DO NOT GO HERE!!

The Tailor's Cat is fantastic! I got married last year and Emma and the rest of the team were amazing. Emma was able to help guide me in my selection of wedding dresses to find me my dream dress and during fittings ensured that I was happy with everything. I ended up buying my veil and hair accessories from the shop as well as they have a large selection to choose from and are of a superb quality. My bridesmaid's dresses were also purchased from the Tailor's Cat and we were able to choose these from a large variety of colours and styles.
I was so pleased with every part of my experience at The Tailor's Cat and recommend them to every bride.

I looked forward to shopping for my wedding dress here long before I'd even got engaged. I was slightly disappointed and it didn't live up to my expectations. I thought they'd have newer lines and whilst the dresses they had on offer were wide in range, a lot had rips and tears in. The experience felt less personal or helpful and the assistants had lack of enthusiasm. The bridesmaids dresses and accessories were plentiful and pretty. I would go back but with definite lower expectations.

From my wife - I am not one for leaving reviews and I don't really know where to start with this because Emma and the team were simply fantastic. I went to a few shops to find my wedding dress and none of them came even close to comparing to the Tailor's Cat.

The staff made me feel so welcome and relaxed from the moment I walked in. They allowed me to browse and try on dresses in my own time (and space!) but they also gave me their input when I needed it.

Once I'd found my dress, I had some fairly substantial alterations to it, mainly to the straps and the neckline, and Emma did those for me. She was so incredibly patient and took the time to make sure it was absolutely perfect.

I have never seen such attention to detail - she is so very talented. They allowed me to go back for several fittings and nothing was ever too much trouble for them. I then needed a few extras (a slip to go under the skirt) and Emma went over and beyond.

I absolutely loved my dress and the whole experience, it was perfect. I honestly could not recommend them more highly, they were amazing!

This shop has the most beautiful selection of dresses and a very hard working team, perfect combo for dress shopping. The first time I stepped into the shop I was simply amazed by their collection. All the staff are very friendly and would like to say thank you to Beth for all her help! Would highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for their dream dress!

Absolutely wonderful experience at The Tailor's Cat shopping for a wedding dress for my friend who is the Bride To Be. We were greeted with smiles and offered drinks straight away. They have a huge selection of beautiful dresses which my friend selected a large number of to try. You were then escorted to a private room where all 3 of us and the shop assistant could fit comfortably, with a separate changing room for extra privacy. Our lovely shop assistant was so very helpful, helping my friend into and out of numerous dresses (and even a couple of dresses multiple times!). All dresses were pinned so we could see the best fit of the dress with the sample size available. The shop assistant was very knowledgable of the dresses in the shop and offered advice. She was very attentive, and understood what our friend was after, and even went to get other dresses for the Bride To Be to try that she thought would fit the criteria. All in all a lovely experience at the shop, I would definitely recommend it to others!

Buying my wedding dress at the Tailor's Cat was one of the best things I did for this wedding. From the first email to the post wedding contact, the staff has been amazing, friendly and professional. First fitting we were greeted with smiles and a drink. Their selection of dresses was amazing, ranging from fishtails and princess dresses to vintage styles and fitted gowns. Even though the sample dresses were a bit small for me, Kiri helped me pin them down so I would see how they'd look like. As my wedding was only a couple of months after the first fitting (and in Belgium), everything had to happen a lot faster than usual, The Tailor's Cat spoke to the designers quickly and I could pick up my dress on the same day as the second/final fitting after some alterations (only a couple of months later). I can not recommend this shop enough, they truly go above and beyond to make you feel gorgeous and confident for the big day!

The only wedding dress shop I felt comfortable in. There was never a shortage of styles to try and the staff are second to none. Megan felt like an old friend and she understood exactly what I wanted immediately. It's the only place I wanted to get my dress from and I'm so glad I did!

What a first class team and wedding dress shop! I have just had my final wedding dress fitting and couldn't have asked for a more positive experience. The selection of dresses is superb and Emma, Kiri and the rest of the team were all so kind and helpful, making sure that my dress fitted perfectly and even going as far as to carefully place it in the car for safe transport home. It was a really fun experience! Also, worth mentioning excellent safety measures put in place in current situation. Thoughtful and clearly explained - did not affect experience. Would thoroughly recommend this shop to all future brides.

Even though I didn't end up getting my dress here I wanted to leave a review as the team were so helpful and accommodating. I must have tried on virtually every dress in the shop, including the ones in the window! Nothing was too much trouble. The shop itself is spacious and well laid out with a very relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended for a great dress shopping experience!

Best wedding dress shop ever. My family have used this shop for years and so when I came to go dress shopping I started here. I could not have asked for better service. From start to finish it was a truly magical journey. Everyone was lovely the fittings were done to perfection and my dress fits like a glove. I cannot wait to wear it tomorrow and it is down the Emma and her team as to why it is such a special shop. Nothing is every too much trouble and you never feel rushed, the girls know their stuff and give exceptional service. I would highly highly recommend, if you dont visit them you are missing out!

A rather underwhelming experience here. The assistant didn't engage with us at all, didn't attempt to find out about the wedding, and then bought in a dress as a final attempt to find the one that was everything she had been told the bride to be didn't want. It's easy to be wowed by your surroundings in here, but it did seem very much to be style over substance unfortunately. It really lacks the personal touch that should be part of the wedding dress shopping experience.

The Tailor's Cat were absolutely wonderful from the moment I walked through their doors. Their shop is beautiful and their staff are so warm and friendly. They helped me find my dream dress and made the entire process from ordering to final collection a breeze. Emma and Octavia were so lovely during alterations, their attention to detail is incredible-no change is too small for them. I can't reccomend this shop enough! If you are looking for a wedding dress, this is the only place to be!

Such lovely lady s! After going to another bridle shop for my bridsmade near by we thought we would have to give up that day - walked past The Taylor s Cat and asked if we could go in even though we had no appointment. They couldn t have been more warm and welcoming. We found a lovely dress and couldn t thank them more. Beautiful shop.

My first experience of The Tailor's Cat was actually as a Bridesmaid, I excitedly watched as my beautiful friend find the dress of her dreams!
It made me so excited to visit The Tailor's Cat's two floors of heaven as a Bride, one day.
When the day arrived, I visited a couple of shops (just because it was so exciting)...but I needn't have bothered! The Tailor's Cat has SO many styles and at all prices ranges to suit all budgets. If I couldn't find my dress there, then I wouldn't have ever found it!

The staff at The Tailor's Cat are so friendly and made the whole experience as special as you hope it would be. Fran was endlessly patient and gave her honest opinion, in a thoughtful way, which helped me and my bridal party whittle down the choices. It was actually Fran that suggested I try on a dress that I hadn't considered and ending up being THE dress.

Even though my engagement was short (only 8 months), I had several dress fittings, which ensured the dress was comfortable and fitted perfectly. Emma took the time to make sure that my bridesmaids knew how to bustle the dress, check that I knew how to manage it throughout the day and that I felt special.

Shopping for your wedding dress is one of life's genuine "once in a lifetime" experiences (you hope!) and I am so pleased that The Tailor's Cat was mine.
I had the dress of my dreams and such lovely memories of choosing it.

I had both my prom dresses from here. All the staff are so lovely, helpful and welcoming. Both dresses were beautiful , and it was no trouble at all to add straps to match the dress for me. Had a fantastic experience.

What a stunning shop! The staff couldn't have been more friendly & professional. We loved every minute we were in there & were made to feel very special. Highly recommend this shop if you want a beautiful wedding dress & made to feel like a princess whilst picking one!

I could not recommend The Tailors Cat highly enough.
Chloe helped me on my first visit and actually picked out my wedding dress. One that I would never have chosen myself but ended up being the most perfect dress for me!
Emma then looked after me on all my fittings, made me feel welcome and so relaxed each time I visited. The whole team went above and beyond to accommodate me from appointment times to alterations nothing was too much trouble.

My mum and I came to look at bridesmaid dresses. The lady was friendly and helpful, she let us look at the dresses and said if we needed any help just let her know. They did have a good selection of bridesmaid dresses also their wedding dresses were stunning. Would definitely recommend this place as I cannot fault the service we received.

What an amazing shop!!! I was looking for a gown to wear to a ball and the staff and owner were absolutely amazing helping me find and try on dresses. I found a dress that makes me feel like a million pounds when I couldn't find one anywhere else even london. Fantastic! Emma and her team helped my daughter to find the perfect wedding dress. Nothing was too much trouble..I cannot praise them highly enough. The selection of dresses is amazing but Emma ensured we didn t feel overwhelmed by the choice available. I just wanted to say a massive THANKS to the ladies who helped me find a perfect dress for my wedding. I was apprehensive about going to a bridal shop at first, I thought nothing would fit me right and I would feel fat and dress needing a lot of alterations. When I arrived I was met by friendly and helpful Tamara who quickly showed me around pointing out at different styles, she marked the dresses I liked and also brought some dresses that she thought would suit me. I can t believe Tamara found me the perfect dress which not just fit me well, looks beautiful but also great quality and price. I was amazed by the care and friendliness of the staff, Tamara and Daniella in particular, who came up to see how the dress fits and suggesting small alterations. I only have 2 weeks before the big day and my dress is sorted, I am so happy! Thank you so much! I would recommend this bridal shop to every bride looking for that perfect special day dress!!
