The hospital is very expensive and very exploitative. Every time you enter a doctor for 200 riyals, even if you return again, it is calculated again.

Don't come to this hospital. I saw a sore throat and spent 3,600 baht. Almost 900 yuan. The point is that I am just a tonsil red. I haven't gotten too much inflammation.

This place is people of many nationalities. How cool about the care of this place, try to get the service 5 stars, less than 100

From the coconut oil message in koh Samui. The day I arrive BKK I got so red all my body. After a day I got the medicine from the hospital. I got much better! They also have a very good translation of Chinese!

Excelent hospital. My dad had a heart stroke while in Bangkok and ended up here. They saved his life by acting fast and professionally. The infrastructure of the hospital is par with the best western hospitals. The doctors and nurses were very professional and warm. Dr. Sureerat Panyarachun saved my dad's life. She was available when we had questions, and even when my dad was already back in our country, she continued to inquire about his health. Having a doctor of her stature made us feel safe while in a country unknown to us. Also the staff from the administration office (pachara and jikky) helped me deal with the travel insurance. They spent hours helping me out. The hospital even has a department that deals with the airlines, that made our return smoother. PJ from that department would contact me even on weekends just to see if everything was alright. Thank you Bumrungrad for everything you have done for us!!!

Internationally highly regarded hospital. Almost all of them studied doctors, including in America.

Patients from all over Arabia and various surrounding countries also come without an appointment to be helped quickly.

The highest price, so if you are not insured, you better go to a state hospital.

Always contact your insurer if possible!

In Thai hospitals you can rent a room with an extra room so that family can stay with the patient ...

Over crowded employee and most of them cannot speak good English and for a first time patient good luck with that, because no one is willing to help you cause they cannot understand my English language, even if you went to your country help desk all they said was to go to 14 floors and that it their job was done. You are on your own from that on.

The best hospital ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!..... The service that I had received just about 1 month ago,,, only went in for anti flamitary tablets .... found out that I had torn meniscus ( been travelling abroad for a solid year now- lots of hiking /walking...... they were so professional through of the whole ordeal ... I would go back there any day!!!!

Giving one star because the pharmacists made me wait unnecessarily long (2hrs), why are there five counters but only 1 pharmacist working. Why are they slacking this much.

Medical check-up and visited a specialist. Nice luxury hospital. Expensive.

I went to Bumrungrad Hospital, and all I can say about this so called best hospital in Thailand is "over rated ripoff" Just to see the the specialist dentist, and then another second opinion from another specialist was 3600 baht or NZ$163! And then the second specialist said to fix my problem would cost around 1,000 000 baht or $NZ45,000!! That's the price of a cheap condominium here in Thailand!

Well that is last time I will ever go to that hospital and would recommend avoiding the dental service here as it is most definitely way more expensive that a dedicated dentist, there are so many to choose from, and most are of a very high standard, and the one I ended up using was both honest and professional as well as extremely good value.

I am not rating this hospital because I'm here to know what others say about it. I used to go to Vejthani Hospital for my father's treatment and they did a good job, but some of the patients of Bumrungrad in their reviews were complaining about doctors prescribing unnecessary overpriced medicine, the answer is: it's because they get a good commissioning from the hospital AND the pharma company for selling their medicine, so be aware and don't take whatever you believe is unnecessary.. and try to buy your meds outside for 1/4 of the given price.

We had a bad flu. The service incredeble good. Not that expensive.

Dressing change with cleansing 1 wound + painkillers. Think about how much you can pay for it? Reading the reviews I chose this hospital - it actually looks like a hotel inside. Clean, service, kindest, ask for everything, nothing to complain about, you feel that everyone wants to help you. Come your turn change dressing duration of service 15 min morning 40 cm, torn skin. Washing the wound, decontaminating 25% of the wound that looked worse, putting on the dressing and bandage. Everything with a smile on his face. The payment time comes. The Lord says $ 200 - shock. I paid without saying because I still have insurance covering the costs of treatment. But I do not understand why so much, knowing the average earnings in Bangkok.
I had an accident on a motorcycle stripped 2 knees to the bone, 2 cubits of blood broken everywhere, stitches on one elbow, time to take me 2 hours. HOSPITAL IN CHANG MAI. Worn out a lot of bandages and dressings painkillers antibiotics plus an injection, 2 people cost $ 70.

Next day change dressings on 4 limbs $ 40 in Chang Mai.
Another day is the same.
The next two days we spend in Cambodia three limbs provides for the same purify and changing the dressing, one worst wound well-protected I leave for 48h - reading that medicine in Cambodia is low and plenty of germs.

And then in this hospital for one wound, $ 200 !!
NOW, I find that a 5-star hotel with half-board would be cheaper than 15 minutes in this hospital, but the health is most important.
If you do not have insurance, I do not recommend it.

Sloooooow service and scam billing. $70 for a mass-marketed heel pad that you can pick up at any pharmacy for $10. Oh and they double charged. Do not go to this place. They rob westerners blind. Avoid avoid avoid.

Had a first class experience here once as an outpatient being treated for a seriously infected open knee wound. A second time I came with an ankle problem which most of all needed physiotherapy, but unfortunately I see an "old school" type doctor frawning upon that along with chiropractors and other "alternative". He also riciduled my insole in my shoe which actually enabled me to walk. Samitivej solved my problem. Their physiotherapy did wonders. It's like the other private hospitals a money machine, be critical. Medicine cost a fraction in outside pharmacies

More than a hospital, it looks like a 5-star hotel. The doctors are very professional and the staff very friendly and attentive (drinks, snacks ...) They can communicate through various languages (Hindi, Thai, English, Spanish, Mandarin or Urdu).
As for prices, it is a private center and the sixth largest and most professional hospital in the world, and therefore, it is a bit expensive.
Finally, never before have I seen a hospital like this in Spain or Europe, and in conclusion, I recommend it.

No English at all, staffs / nurses / doctors -nobody understands English and you'll feel helpless here. Good to stay here as 5 star hotel facilities are there but not good to have a discussion on your problem with doctors.

Unfortunately had to visit this hospital while I was on holiday but can totally recommend it. The staff here were really amazing. Although there was a language barrier, they could see I was distressed and did all they could to look after me and comfort me. Coming from England, I'm used to having to wait hours to even be checked in - and that's even with an appointment! I left the hotel to go to hospital and was back within two hours, treatment completed.
Also pretty reasonable price for the service, and they provided everything we needed to claim back through insurance. Thank you for looking after me!

My father unfortunately had stage 3 liver cancer in the gallbladder metastases, in Vietnam, he asked an Associate Professor Doctor, who is familiar with the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, to have an operation after the surgery to remove the colon tumor. Where to live more than half a year! Thanks to an acquaintance who introduced this person to examine and operate again (the doctor said his surgery was still left ...) up to now has been treated with chemotherapy for 3 years! In general, whichever is it, guys, here (Bumrungrad Hospital of international standards) the sanitary conditions, machines, people and the management are out there, they will bring results. Better for patients, hospital fees are very expensive! So, depending on the individual conditions of each person, I seek treatment for my loved ones! Recently, my father in Vietnam accidentally had diarrhea, so he was taken to Viet Phap hospital for treatment. It's like putting a last shot of a big pack of cigarettes on the Thai side ...

It will be Bangkok 1! It is better than a certain famous hospital.

Visited an eye specialist. Good doctors and really good service. They serve many foreigners everyday. Respect!

A good international hospital, complete services, the same price for local and foreign residents, patients from any country do not need to worry they have a companion and translator of all countries.

The building's toilet is not scratching. The car doesn't have a toilet.

I have never seen hospital organised like this. You will get fast and good treatment with cheaper price. but their medicine is very expensive. The nurses and some doctors lacks english.

This is definitely the most expensive hospital if not one of the in Bangkok, prices may vary. Recommend to have insurance when you visit.
Service quality dropped compared to 6 years ago. May be now they are too big. Different doctors attitude is different, if you are lucky enough you will meet a kind doctor who goes beyond to help you with everything. Nurses are professional and helpful.
Make sure you get an estimate of the cost and always expect 20 - 30% hike in final bill from the estimate.

Excellent hospital, worth the medical tourism from far away. Great standards, fine ambiance, and very fast service by highly qualified professionals. What amazes me again and again is that doctors to not recommend or force superfluous tests and treatments; that's a huge problem with private or privatized hospitals in, say, Europe. Bumrungrad is for me the best hospital in Indochina and the best in ASEAN outside Singapore.

I have used the Bumrungrad hospital for twenty years, and have been generally pleased, but recently I had a work medical there and didn t realise that they had entered a wrong end date, which will prevent me from working until this is resolved. I have asked for a replacement, through endless online chats and emails, and have now been told, that I will be charged 3,000 plus baht, to send me out a new and accurate certificate. Nearly the cost of the original medical. As the mistake was made by the Bumrungrad, at least they could do would be to rectify their mistake at no expense to myself, but clearly that is not their approach, further more I am expected to re validate my identity, using several prescribed documents, prior to any mailing. It would be nice to be treated in an honourable way, and with a modicum of respect, but I don t hold out much hope!! 01/09/20, just an update on this story, the Bumrungrad have now rectified the problem and I have received a new OG certificate with the correct date, so a thank to all involved in finally resolving this for me.

Very good hospital with friendly English speaking staff. International insurance accepted for direct billing. Very convenient location within central Bangkok.

Comprehensive physical exams are offered for men and women (they take half a day). The hospital is also well known for diabetes screening.

Came for the health screening- wasted $1,500. Prepaid and then was stuck with more bills afterward for hidden hospital fees . Totally rushed through with non caring unprofessional doctors. Don t waste your time or money.

the place is so nice & clean. staffs & doctors are good. but they charge lots of money for simples blood test, medication & ofcorse dictors visit. & also they charge amount by ur ability specialy if you going from abroad they will charge you excess money for nothing.....

Overrated. Prices are inflated by heaps. Facilities are dated and care subpar. Wait time to see doctor and check out are inordinately long in comparison to other places I've been to in the city. Many local expats use St. Louis, affordable care and expedient service. When I explained my concerns to the doctor she tried to advise me to get 10k thb plus in test. To me it seems like a money grab and it is always busy, more like a train station than a hospital.

Horrific service. It is the mass production model of medical care. You are just another number in the horde that is ever present. Drs are unreliable and impersonal. Even for an emergency you will be stuck in an interminable queue. Avoid at all costs unless you have no other option.

Over-examination, the response is severe, and I think only from the patient's money.

Great doctor and service here. Overall is great. EXCEPT only one thing if you use health insurance. Have a chance of IPD case, took hours for check out and prepare docs to insurance company. So bad thing was when chasing to IPD Cashier 6th-7th fl. ,they said delay from insurance company while check directly to insurance and found out that claim docs just sent minutes ago.

So be patience with IPD check out process.

I had a full physical at Bumrungrad International Hospital 1 year ago. It was probably the best hospital that I've ever been to. Staff was very courteous and professional as always in Thailand. The female Thai doctor was very well trained and professional as well. It was a great experience and I will definitely do it again. My only caution is not to go in late December or early January as this is a very busy time and place for middle easterners.

My doctors were great but I had to wait over three hours to see someone. I had initially been told it would be a 90 minute wait. I only got to see a doctor when I did after informing the nurse of the pain I was in. I learned at that time that I actually had been given an appointment that was to commence more than six hours after arrival. I would have gone to another hospital had I known that initially. While I would recommend this hospital for sure, I DO NOT RECOMMEND COMING WITHOUT AN APPOINTMENT. You will waste a huge amount of time otherwise.

It corresponds to the language of various countries, and the doctor has a Japanese teacher and is safe.
The room is also very good.

my daughtet had foriegn object stuck in her nose.. i called 3 top hospitals and also visited st louis sathorn where the doctors were not upto mark... but bumrungrad the doctors and support staff were very good amd resolve the probem and explained us in details... good job

Did health check-up at Bumrungrad last week. It took almost 5 hours where most of the time spent on waiting. While service was polite, it was very impersonal and I felt like being pass through an assembly line. The toilet where test sample was collected was shockingly disgusting. Nice environment and English speaking staffs are what one is paying for. I could have done the same check-up at a fraction of price charged at other hospitals in town.

it's the most expensive hospital. i paid 4323THB for wound dressing update and analysis of purulent discharge. other hospitals didn't provide this analysis. doctor made good impression and did check super fast and let other things to nurses in other hospitals doctor was cleaning my wound in person.

The hospital's interior is not like a hospital.
Most of the patients who looked sick were Arabs who looked a lot of money.
I only consulted a doctor.
I got a prescription for enteritis.
It wasn't special care and he asked about the patient's condition the most.

Doctors very good. Surgery went well as expected.
One nurse very unfriendly and rude and one girl who only does bathing, kept hitting on my husband. "You want bath you call me" she said this 3x and each time she got closer and closer to the point she was holding him and in his ear.
If they are going to hire hooker/escorts. Put a number on them and place it in catalog with a phone number and price.

Very expensive teeth cleaning. I had my teeth cleaned in many places in Bangkok. Here, for 15 minutes clean, they charge almost $100. Crazy. First time and last time. Will never go back.

This is a very clean and efficient hospital. We got sick on vacation and came here one night and were seen immediately. The hospital is state of the art, super clean, and the staff speaks good English. I m an (unfortunate) connoisseur of hospitals in the US and abroad and this was definitely one of the best hospitals I ve been to and one of the best experiences I ve had.

As a tourist with no insurance, I decided to visit a general doctor as this hospital for a common ailment and I was really impressed with my visit.

The greeter was very welcoming and helpful in pointing me in the right direction.

Once at the registration desk in the sky lounge I was attended to immediately and the process was very quick and smooth. The staff then directed me to the doctors office/level.

At check in, the nurses were very nice and efficient at checking me in and taking my vitals while I wait. The waiting room offered complimentary drinks. My wait to see the general doctor was not long at all (from arriving to the hospital to seeing the doctor, about 1.5 hours).

My visit with the doctor was quick as he was knowledgeable about my alignment - he conducted a check and prescribed treatment and medication.

The check out, cashier, and pharmacy processes were also very well streamlined. Pharmacist was very helpful in explaining how to properly take the medication.

I'm from the USA, and I was very impressed with the facilities here. The entire design was done to create comfort for the patients - not too cold, lighting was dim, comfortable furniture, lots of signage, it felt like a nice hotel style lobby.

The hospital is amazing..The staff is friendly and give you a homely feeling..The fact that they have people who translate arabic is perfect..Two things that need to be improved are the prices need to be more reasonable for the medication and another thing is that majority of the staff have problems conversing in english..Other than that Bumrungrad is a great hospital..The tests do not take long to get done and neither do the results take long to come out..The hospital is also very clean..

I ve got the good treatment in Bumrungrad hospital. And the doctors and other stuffs are very well behaved, active & cooperative. Wishing the very best for this hospital.

Good but painfully slow. Got here at 6:50 left at 15:55 (3:55PM). Total time being helped by a doctor, nurse tech, or receptionist I would estimate at 2 hours. So dead time waiting in various lobbies would be around 7 hours. I had two back to back appointments.

Use great caution when dealing with a staff person (I won't call him a doctor) named Anuwat Keerasuntonpong. You would do better to pick anyone, and I mean anyone -- maybe even a random person on the street, other than this person for your needs.
