Flat Creek Tranportation Review

So on Saturday, November 23 at 3:30 PM I was exiting the 101 South in Ventura CA of the Victoria exit. I was stopped in the internal left turn lane and this big rig with trailer was staged to make a left right next to me, when the green left turn light went on, I started moving and so was the big rig. Before I ever got to start making my turn, my wife and kids started screaming that the truck is going to hit us. I stopped right before the middle of the intersection and the truck cut his turn to sharp and the trailer went into my lane and basically took out my front passenger door, mirror, hood and front fender as well as pushed my car into the middle median and takes damages my alignment. He didn't stop and started fleeing. Luckily, that next intersection was a 3 way and he had to turn right. He tried to make the right but did not have the right angle and had to back up and correct. While doing so he almost backed his trailer into the cars behind him. My vehicle was still drivable and I was able to catch up to him and he pulled over. He said he didn't feel anything but if he did hit me, he said he was sorry. Even his partner came out and looked at the damage and said it was undeniable. He gave me all his information ( Pictures posted of his ID, INSURANCE AND CAB CARD). And again, said he was sorry. I filed a claim with my insurance company AAA which my claims adjuster. About a week later my adjuster states that she spoke to the driver and clhe isaiming I hit him and that he had cameras on the vehicle and will give them to the safety department. I have to follow up with my claims adjuster a couple of times haven't and she said she is not getting anywhere and that I need to follow up myself? I have called and emailed and not received any calls or replies back from the safety department or the safety director to file a claim so here is my blast. I'm reaching out to other social media avenues to make sure my issues are addressed.

The lack of concern for their drivers and the pay sucks!

Gave me a chance to do what makes me happy because of poor choices I made when i was younger and wild. There is no company with perfect reviews or driving records, so I pay no attention to the bad reviews, and as far as the reviews with cars involved. The one running oomph on her husbands butt, why didn't you simply move over to the next lane, oh that's right you do everything to get by us then slow down, or you ride in our blind spots, there is no perfect driver and as much as truckers spend on the road we make mistakes like any human being.To be honest I wish every trucker and company's would shut down for 2 weeks and see how you get all the essentials of life to your stores and homes then, but that's just me good thing I'm not President...ugghhh

Unsafe driver in Tucson, AZ on 7/14/17 at approximately 1pm, westbound I-10, weaving in and out of traffic like a 17 year old kid in a Civic. Very dangerous driving, exceeding the speed limit. Naturally I cannot find a website or phone number to which I can report the driver, but judging by what I've seen in a quick Google search this is typical of this company.

Been here for a year now the company has been great I highly suggest this place if you are starting out the only problem I have found is the owner doesn't like to run Solo's and this is my only reason I am getting ready to move on . Don't be scared by the bad reviews I'm sure evey trucking company has bad reviews...... Stay safe driver....

Love the owner and all the dispatchers good money and benefits. Good trucks

On I-70 in KCMO at 12:55 on 9/25/3020 their driver while speeding was playing a dangerous game of cat and mouse with both cars and other semis. This driver is going to kill someone. But by the looks of these reviews this company doesn t care. Just know it s been documented!

Didnt hate it. Not really sure of how they come up with the figures where the 14% is taken from. We added our pay and how much our fuel tickets were and deducted that amount from what yhey said the load paid and there qas only like $68 left. Now i dont know but i think it would be hard to make the payment and i surance on those 2018 brand new volvos on $68 a load.. . Just my thinking. And dont get me started on everything else

Drivers like to park on the fuel island taking their d.o.t. 30 minute breaks. No consideration for other drivers. Truck 443 is guilty of this at the flying j in Springville Utah.

I was almost crushed into the median by one of these drivers and then I got the finger when I finally passed them.

Wish they paid better for the drivers who actually bust there asses and don t ever get to see there family s so they could actually have a lil more home time to spend with there kids...

Been here 9 years and counting... I've been knowing the owner and his family all my life great folks....

If I could give them negative stars I would. I was pushed off the road on I-40 by one of their drivers. After I got back on the road safely I caught up to the female truck driver which had began to speed off. She smiled flipped me off and waved and keep going. I contracted Law enforcement and the Flat Creek Transportation. The police told me to back off and the will send and officers to meet with me. The company said they pulled her off the road. Hours later I meet with an officer how knows how far down the road the truck made it of even out of state. It ripped my passenger right side mirror off and big gash down the side of my car also causes damage to underside of my car. Their safety department said get 3 estimates and send them in. After they found out how bad of damage they did to my car they said send it to my insurance. I had my Insurance call them. They wouldn't give them any information to my insurance company. I had to tell them I would call the police if they wouldn't give me the name of the driver that day in that truck and their insurance.. They finally did. Now they are saying their truck didn't hit me at all and I cant get my deductible back. They already assume responsibility to me but now they are saying i'm making it all up. My Girlfriend is also get huge anxiety ever time we pass a Semi now and now doesn't like to drive on the interstates.

So we are in I75 North of Gainesville and one of theory trucks was literally 4 feet from my rear bumper and we were going 75 miles an hour! Then he proceeded to pass us and and do it to other drivers. Never seen ANYTHING like it. We caught up with him and he saw me take his picture, then he slowed down finally. I called to complain they said they would call him. He should be fired!

My son in law works for flat Creek as a over the road truck driver they haul chicken and other refrigerated foods out to California and produce back to the east coast amnd florida

On 4-17-18, around 12:00 noon near Bakersfield California, One of their crazy drivers ran me off the road and almost into a construction site (the driver was hauling trailer T-326 Incase someone at the company decides to care) . I called in to complain about it and the safety manager didn t seem to care, no apologies for their drivers behavior or anything.

Watched a truck (trailer License plate #A132683) drive extremely aggressively on I-25 at 5:30am in Denver 08/17/2017. Totally unacceptable to tailgate and drive 90mph in a 75mph zone while weaving in and out of traffic using turn signals half if the time. This trucker should loose his driver's license.

In my dad down there to work that's where he worked at the time it was okay

License plate A137828 driving like a crazy person on the highway in Texas . 287. Blew us off the road and the people in front of us going at a high limit . He could of put us in danger . Not only did he do it once he did is several times .

Horrible Company, my husband was looking for a local company so he could be home more, even though he was employed with TMC (only home on weekends but mainly Saturday) Flat Creek, gave him all paper work, he already passed the drug test, they told him he could AS SOON AS he wanted. He told them he would start the following Monday, he needed to call TMC and quit, they said someone would call him that morning when to come in and all, which was senseless to me. Well Monday morning came around and he never received a call, he waited, called them then was told someone will contact him in a few minutes. This was yesterday 06/19/17, today 06/20/17 still no one from Flat Creek has called my husband explaining why he wasn't called to come in yesterday! ***My husband quit the job he had because Flat Creek told him he had the job, now hes unemployed, he has called TMC to get his job back and they said it wasn't looking in his favor. I understand things happen but as a company, Flat Creek is responsible for this, they gave him the job, told him he would start monday yet did not call him at any point to apologize for no one calling him or anything! He is the main provider for our family, thank goodness we have some in savings bc right now it isn't looking like he'll be working for another week or so... Flat Creek sucks and I will promote my feelings anytime I hear someone mention them in person and social media.

Good company and pay is always on time and you do make good money here

The owners and employees have never met a stranger. They treat everyone like family. They care about making their customers happy and they are all very kind and welcoming. This company feels more like a home.

Flat Creek is ok! Can improve pay scale but, good for me! I would give 5 stars if they had a better scale

Just super great folks...everyone is really great people to be around and to work for as well...anyone considering a driving position I would strongly recommend FLAT CREEK TRANSPORTATION. ..

The good ole boy gear jammin T-311 today is one hell of a driver that s for sure!! Had the pleasure of taggin in behind him today, once I saw Kinston AL on the side of his truck I knew we were headed in the same direction..HOME!! Mister, I was the fella in the Black Jeep with a u-haul moving my family home from Las Vegas. I ll be in the area, I owe you a beer!

They're a great company, I like the employees great people. The only thing I don't like is that I can't take my truck home with me.

Doesn't appear to be a good place to work. HR appears to be sexist and think men are only fit for manual labor and not suitable for office work.

Today truck 293 with trailer T-307 was being very unsafe on the freeway. He was going 90 in 65 and kept riding my husband's ads and almost side swiped us.

The guy that drives truck 317 should know not to nose in whe he has a refer running and his truck running and it like 60% out side and I have my windows down and truck off landstar is the best trucking company on the road today.

Been working for them 3 years! New trucks pays good and trucks run 75..

My husband currently works there , so unfortunately most of my comments have to stay to myself at the moment ... However to say that the majority of the office staff are rude uneducated Backwoods gossipers would be an understatement, every personal encounter that I've ever had with them has been completely unpleasant and unprofessional

I was there as the sap Bros in Denver where that driver urinated in the fuel island. As a truck driver I find that disgusting it's why people think truckers are pigs. It's a truck stop. They got bathrooms inside.
