Secluded Cabin was just what we needed to recharge and refresh after weeks of being stuck at home due to Covid-19. It was beautifully decorated, very comfortable and super clean, Buffalo Lodging has been great and we hope to be back later this summer.

Fantastic, open floor plan, newer cabin. Huge 3 sided wraparound deck. Large hot tub in screened in porch. This is at a dead end private drive, but there is another cabin managed by a different company fairly close. The folks staying on Friday and Saturday evening were a little loud, but a new family came in on Sunday and were very nice and quiet. We loved this cabin though! Clean, with a nice mix of rustic cabin and modern style. Shower is large and newer tiled- very nice. Easy to check in online and very friendly folks to work with. We will return!
Pros: The most private of the seven different cabins we ve stayed in at Hocking Hills. Look at the satellite view in Google maps to see how private it is. You are completely alone with no unnatural sound. Very clean inside and out. Well stocked kitchen with the exception of two items (see below) Hot tub was very clean and quiet. The temperature adjustment was relatively easy to operate. Eight sets of towels for a two night stay. Plenty of light in the main room. This can be an issue in many cabins. Two sets of hanging lights, each with three bulbs. Heating was fine. Good water pressure. Taste of water is OK, but might be strange for city folk.
Cons: No place to store dry goods. Kitchen counter space is quite limited No coffee filters for the coffee maker. It takes the old style Bunn type with the flat bottom, vs. the Mellita cone filters. No salt or pepper provided. Electrical outlet behind the bed is inconveniently located in the center which makes it difficult to plug in any devices.
Directions: From Route 33, take Route 664 for 14.8 miles. (If you reach South Bloomingville, you ve gone too far.) From Route 664, turn right on Chilcote for 0.7 miles. Veer to the left onto Purcell. The driveway is well marked on the left.
A group of 9 friends from our church rented Waccabuck Lodge January 15-17, 2016. We were all thrilled with the property.
Being as secluded as they are it is hard to imagine how they manage to keep them as well as they do. When you are in a rural area you cannot expect that lodges in the middle of nowwhere are going to have city water.
It was just what we expected and more.
Tonight I just reserved Creek Lodge for the 3rd weekend in February for the same group of people, plus 3 more and we expect to have another great time together.
We recently stayed at Twin Creeks and stayed at Buckeye Trail last year. This is our second year booking with Buffalo Lodging Company. We cannot say enough good things about this company compared to another company we booked with in the past. The cabins are clean, well stocked and maintenance arrives promptly if there is an issue. When I called, Brenda was always so helpful and informative over the phone! Thank-you! Great stay and wonderful family memories......we will absolutely be booking our next stay again shortly!
The area has so many things to do and everything was close to were we stayed . Perfect location !! The cabin was beautiful!! Pictures don t give it justice. Very clean and spacious and loved the separate downstairs with game room : entertainment center / bedroom / full bath .. Loved each floor had full bath . Also the hot tub was amazing and tons of room and the layout of the fire pit area .. All in all ,, everything was perfect !!! Thank you and we will be returning
We rented Bryn Awel from Buffalo Lodging for a few nights over the summer. It was wonderful! Beautiful property...everything felt brand new. Very private and peaceful. Incredibly clean! Close to various trails. Check in and check out were very easy- we were able to go right to the house without going to the rental office. Hot tub was great. I can't say enough good things about this house/rental company. (wifi came in and out. And no cell signal. But it honestly felt nice to "unplug")
Beautiful cabin. Very spacious and it has a well equipped kitchen. We used the fireplace the entire time. Our grandkids loved the hot tub as well as the adults. The property has a water fall that is an easy hike down from the cabin. Highly recommend.
This is for Buckeye Trail in Hocking Hills where we stayed for two nights (Jun-21 to Jun-22). Let's start with one star: had to give 1 because there isn't an option to give a big bold zero. We paid a little over $750/night, and got $300 a night value (see pics and videos). Grill full of rust and falling apart and a health hazard if used. See the rusty metal that came off from the grates. Pans that were not usable and again a health hazard. Door of a bathroom and a bedroom not locking. Vents so dirty you can see they were not cleaned in years. Both tables on deck with broken tiles. Wifi router so bad you lose signals when you get out of the door and sit on the deck. I understand you can't get more bandwidth because you rely on service in the area but you can certainly have a good router. Worst of all, the bedding. Mattresses and box springs so bad (noisy, sinking) that none of the adults were able to sleep on these beds. I have had stayed in some cheap motels but these beds by far were the worst I ever had, and that too after paying $750/night. Coming to the service, we told the company rep all what we saw and send pictures and videos. They said they are sending a new grill and new pans, and the guy will fix the doors also. They sent pans, fixed the doors, but couldn't send the grill and we only got a partial replacement of rusty grate. They said they can't do much with bedding as owner needs to approve and we can't replace them. Best they could offer was a partial refund if we leave and 'find another place'. It was that easy for them to say that because they didn't give a damn to guests or their experience. They guy we were communicating said they never have received any complaints for the bedding or the falling apart grill, or pans, or anything. Look at the pics and you'll find that hard to believe. I exchanged around 10 emails back and forth for all these issues, and never for once he said he is sorry for what we are going through and that they should have had some/all of these issues resolved before our arrival. When I asked that the grill and pan were serious health hazards, response was 'but you didn't use them'. When asked why these issues were not identified and resolved before arrival, there was no response. When asked if this is what guests should expect after paying over $1500 for two nights, no response. No sorry no apology nothing, but 'this is what it is, stay or leave' was the response. They'll tell you anything to get you in, and then ask you to leave when you'll talk to them after finding out the reality. Learn from the disaster we had and stay away from these people
My experience with buffalo lodging was really great! From the time I checked in to the time I left everything went very smooth. The office staff were extremely helpful with all aspects of our stay. We stayed at Buck Ridge Cabin. The outside was so peaceful. The hiking in the Hocking hills was awsome
The Moonlit cabin was very nice, clean, spacious, thoroughly stocked, and tastefully decorated. It was also conveniently located to the parks and local restaurants and shopping. I would highly recommend.
The lodge was beautiful and in a perfect location. There was plenty of room for everyone (7 people). Everyone enjoyed the fireplace, hot tub, game room, and movie room. Highly recommend!
We had a little issue when we first booked, nothing to do with the company just the state of Ohio being shut down due to the Covid! We made it there end of August for a few days. And not nearly enough time to enjoy the beautiful cabin and hiking trails. We had a great stay and hope to return soon. I'd just suggest that something be posted in the cabin what is needed for departure. I saw an email when we got home and hopefully we did all that was needed before leaving. Thank you for a great place!!
We had a great time at the Southern Comfort Cabin. Very comfortable and you thought of everything we may have forgotten to bring. The cabin location was perfect for my husband, son and son-in-law who love the outdoors and the inside was clean and cozy for those of us who preferred to sit indoors by the fire.
This is my second stay in a Buffalo Lodging cabin and I will be back again. Gorgeous craftsmanship, communicative staff, and overall fun time with friends and family!
We recently rented The Retreat Cabin and were very satisfied. It was spotless! We enjoyed the hot tub after our visit to Old Mans Cave, roasting marshmallows in the fire pit, eating on the deck and rocking on the front porch. There are plenty of towels but there weren t any extra blankets to coverup with on the couch. The beds were comfortable. It is not a far drive to the caves, restaurants or shopping. Walmart is close. We were traveling with our dog Bella. We found Logan Ohio to be very pet friendly. We ate on the outside patio at Millstone Southern BQ and they brought out a bucket of water for Bella. We had ice cream and a puppy ice cream cup at Treehouse Treasures, shopped and ate at Weavers Market & Deli (their Reuben sandwiches are delicious) Grandma Faye s Grocery & Carryout and visited Logan Antique Mall and Midwest Glassware Outlet. They are all pet friendly as long as you dog is on a leash or in a stroller. Can t wait to return to Hocking Hills and stay at The Retreat again.
I was so grossed out at the cabin we stayed in recently. There were mice running around in and out of stove burners and fireplace. I didn t sleep at all because I could hear them in the kitchen cabinets and in our food. I attempted to contact the lodging company about their rodent problem on multiple occasions but have yet to receive a response. Very unhappy with our stay, it was not a vacation.
We stayed at the waterfall cabin. The listing describes the low ceilings and they are LOW! If you don t mind ducking, the cabin sits on a very nice property! We highly enjoyed the stay, though the parks (which were very close), were still closed to visitors. The private land with the cabin allowed us to get outside and explore, even though we couldn t hike at the parks. We would recommend this cabin and will definitely consider returning to it.
We ve stayed in several of the cabins over the years, and we have always had a great time. They are always clean, well equipped, and comfortable. We just stayed in the Hocking Creek Reserve last week. It was just what we needed. Fenced in backyard for the dog and young kid, downstairs bachelor pad with game room for the teenage kid. My husband and I stayed in the loft, and there s a beautiful view of the woods right behind the bed. A wonderful way to wake up everyday. We had an issue with the hot tub not holding temp. We called, and someone was at our door to fix it within 20 minutes. That s exceptional service. We really love doing business with this company. They ve always been great to us.
We have had so many great experiences thanks to the buffalo lodging company. Thanks to their pet friendly cantwell prairie cabin we were able to include our pets this time. Everything was perfect! So clean, spacious and the kids loved the game room!!! Easy access to store and parks.
My family and I really enjoyed our stay, we had good communication throughout our trip and had everything we needed there in the cabin. We will definitely return.
We had a really good stay. Clean, welcoming cabin. A lot of charm and was good for our family of 4, plus a dog. Great location. Secluded without being totally out there. Decorated nicely. If 4.5 stars were an option I'd give it that honestly. Reason being, we were looking for a cabin with a hot tub, which this had. But the hot tub only got up to 93 degrees. It was not an option to increase this (that we could figure out). It was essentially a warm bath with bubbles and chlorine. We still got in and it was "ok" but it wasn't a "hot" tub. A hot tub should be able to go up to 100 degrees (no more than 104). For those looking for this hot tub feature, may want to get that situated prior to your stay if that's important to you. On a cold evening (we had two of them), ya want a HOT tub. Would stay again for sure, otherwise. Great place.
A group of my friends paid to spend Monday evening through Thursday morning at a cabin here. After arriving our first night with a hole in one of the walls, torn felt on the pool table, a dirty pool, and a green hot tub we were then asked to leave the next day. We were wrongly accused of damage done to an entirely different cabin and were given an hour to pack up and leave before the cops came. After leaving we later found out the maintenance guy called his family and friends to spend the remainder of our time that we payed for in the cabin. We also witnessed them eat and drink the remainder of our stuff that was left behind after being rushed out. Would highly not recommend, total scam.
We stayed at the Hickory House cabin over the weekend of March 16-18th ( literally not enough time in this gorgeous place ) but we had a great time. the cabin was beautiful and very clean. We loved the set up and the bedrooms were big a cozy. We especially loved the location of the hot tub, being that it was on the second level balcony we felt safe and you could see the beautiful woods. The place was quiet and serene. There are only a couple things that we would change if we could. -There wasn't much counter space. If a rolling island could be put in the middle of the kitchen, that would be perfect. -There needs to be more seating options in the living room, With this being a cabin that sleeps 11, the couch and a chair just wasn't enough. I know there isn't much space to work with, but maybe a bigger couch and a small love seat or another chair. -More steak knives would be nice. We had steak Saturday night and we had to either share the steak knives or use the huge cutting knives, which was kind of comical. - There also needs to be a guest book ( unless there was one and we just didn't see it ) -Maybe a little more description of where the pond is located. When I booked it, it said there was a pond on site, but the hike to the pond was kind of intense, we loved it but if an older couple or anyone who cant make that hike books the cabin, it might be a turn off. No real complaints for this wonderful place, just minor changes that would make the stay even better : ) Overall, we will be back to this place and want to stay in the other cabins offered by Buffalo Lodging. Highly recommended.
Very nice secluded cabin that held three couples with no problem. Very quiet but still close enough to sites to see in Hocking Hills and surrounding towns. Had a great week and all enjoyed our vacation immensely!
Very nice location, clean, and priced right. The only complaint I have is that I m 6 1 and stayed in the Waterfall Cabin which only has head clearance for 5,9 . However it s spelled out in all CAPS and I looked over it so I can t knock them for my issue. Again I think value and the get away was amazing. Also it was very close to Old Man Caves. I recommend a visit there if your in the area.
Long story short I d stay with Buffalo Lodging again.
Beautiful cabin in the Hocking Hills area right next door to Cantwell Cliffs. Well appointed, well maintained, and very clean. Loads of space to spread out and extremely comfortable. Easy check in and check out. The hot tub and in ground pool were great after a day of hiking. Highly recommend this company.
Thank you for sharing your beautiful Blackjack cabin. The cabin was beautiful with comfortable arrangements. The easy arrival and departure emails were appreciated. We can t wait to visit again.
First off, the cabin is beautiful, and had we thought to bring our own a/c, a heater for the hot-tub, and a fire extinguisher perhaps this would get a few more stars. We arrived on Friday to a very very very very very hot house, the thermostat said 75, and that was as low as it got all weekend. I called the lodge company and spoke with a woman on the phone who had me check to see if there was ice on the unit, and when I stated there wasn't she said she would send someone out. No one showed. We called back a few times, but since it was after hours there was only the emergency hotline. The next time we called that line still no one showed or answered.
The hot tub was luke warm, but I guess that was ok since it was so freaking hot inside (thermostat read 92) and when we went to turn it up an hour or so later we gave up.
The next day the around 3:00pm the hot tub then started to smoke and make crackling noises where we called the emergency hotline again after getting out and turning it off. It wasn't until 10PM
10pm....a man came around and scared us to death to fix the hot tub. We told him about the air and he said no one ever contacted him.
Either way, this isn't worth the money and we certainly won't be returning or doing business with any of their cabins again.
Cabin Fever was great! All the necessities provided. The cabin itself was awesome! Plenty of space, great fire pit area, and hot tub was clean and well kept. My only suggestion is to even out the gravel going up the driveway because for a lower riding vehicle it was pretty rough! Overall it was a fantastic experience!
Very clean. Only down was the sulfur smell to the water. As they advertised in ALL CAPS about the low ceilings, I can't complain and if you're sitting down it's not an issue.
I have used buffalo lodging for years. I have stayed in 4 different cabins. This April being my most recent stay. Which we were in open sky. We checked in on Sunday @4pm April 28th. Upon going to bed in the wee morning hours I noticed my bed was wet. After pulling off the bedding it was obvious that it had been peed in. There was a obvious yellowish ring around the spot. I then had to sleep in a standard chair til the next morning and I called to report it first thing. People were sent right away to fix the problem. 1st with just new sheets til I told her that's not fixing the problem! Then 2nd guy sent to check if roof was leaking. Nope not issue either. But he did instantly take the wet mattress out and brought one right back. Hot tub was dirty when we got there but what do u expect when it's under pine trees and you cant reach to even get into it. We never even used it at all! Cause we couldn't get in to it. And yes this cabin shares a driveway with a permanet residence within feet of it. We pulled our cars off to side to unload closer. And the guy came and told us we had to move too. Which we planned on doing right after we unloaded. I have to say after staying numerous times this was the worst ever.
Never ended up staying. They tried to make me add an extra day or cancel my reservation because they could not leave a day "unfilled so we will not able to stay. The Rep that I spoke to was very rude!
Buffalo Lodging has the finest cabin/lodge rental in The Hocking Hills area! Very clean & maintained!! While there, it s a must to check out there sister company Soaring Cliffs Zip Line! We also received a discount for Zip Lining for staying at Buffalo Lodging Co.
We recently stayed at Timberview Lodge as part of a women's small group retreat. The location was great and the outdoor space was very nice and accommodated our group of 8 very well. However there were a few problems that we called out to the office and were not addressed. I could not find an after hours number to call and so we left a message on the office answering machine. The issues were, light bulbs were burnt out or not working in many of the areas we needed light (closets, bedside lamps, over the stove, etc.); we had no water running in one of the 2 bathroom sinks and the water pressure throughout the cabin was very weak. This presented an issue since we had 8 women trying to get ready in the morning and at bedtime as well as using the bathroom throughout the day; we were told to put our trash bags in the outside garbage bins which we did and made sure the lids were secured. Raccoons pulled the trash out and spread it out over the property so we spent our first day, picking up trash. We then kept our full trash bags in the laundry room instead. We also had mice so had to make sure all food was secure if left out. We will not be back as the office was not very sensitive to our request for a small discount off our bill based on our issues.
Great cabin and location. We would definitely stay here again. The raccoons are ruthless when it comes to the garbage. Maybe a wooden box with locking lid would help.
The cabin we rented from Buffalo Lodging Company was very clean and comfortable. There could have been more amenities, but we were very satisfied with our expierience.
We had a great time at the cabin we rented in Hocking Hills. Our family loved the hot tub, pool table and porch swing. It was very close to a number of hiking trails.
Beautiful property. Really enjoyed our stay, wish we had booked for a bit longer. Pet friendly was a deciding factor on where to stay. Love the enclosed yard, dogs ran freely without the worries of getting lost in the woods. Will be coming back!!
Had a great quiet weekend. Very affordable, clean and comfortable. I plan on coming back regularly. My only complaint was there was no wifi at my particular cabin. Other than that it was great.
We had such an amazing weekend at Cabin Fever. It was the perfect weekend for football watching, making smores by the campfire, and enjoying the beautiful caves. The kitchen was well stocked, the cabin very clean, and the kids loved the basement area to play. Can't wait to go back and will definitely rent Cabin Fever again.
We rented the Waterfall cabin. It was a very cozy cabin pet friendly with a hot tub. The cabin was well equipped with a great deck and front porch to enjoy the tin roof if you get any rain. Located just minutes from the main Hocking Hill attractions we were perfectly located to bring our trailer with enduro bikes to ride locally. Close access to the trails let us run and hike all that we wanted. The cabin ceiling had lower beams which was not bad and I am 6ft. A little lean of the head under the beams. (As described) A perfect fire pit let us enjoy hot dogs and marshmallows. TOTALLY private. The Buffalo Lodging company checked on us after check in to make sure we had everything. We will stay again.
It was amazing! Very clean, spacious ,and stocked with supplies. The only complaint we had is we couldn t stay longer. There was eight of us and we all fell in love with the place.
Stayed at La Vigne Lodge. Good Part: The place was great and secluded and overall it was a good experience. Lots of amenities including hot tub, fire pit, BBQ grill and gas grill, porch and deck, Big open area to wind down.
Not so good part: The A/Cs didn't kick in for most of the time except for couple of hours of morning and it was HOT inside. Water had a bad taste/smell but apparently it was harmless (we had taken our own drinking water)
The cabin was beautiful. It was very clean and well stocked. There were a few things that I felt like for the price you pay per night maybe they could have been fixed but other than that it was good!
The cabin we stayed at had NO CELL phone service & NO WIFI. It was a nice cabin but i wont be going back, i think we should have been informed before hand.
Horrible maintenance team. We booked Buckeye Trail Lodge. We were not able to open the door lock (it was jammed) and waited for more than 3 Hours. Called, left VM to the after hour maintenance team and no one ever showed up. Only replied through email, I could never expect that.
Next day found that hot tub was totally unclean and upstairs bathroom started to leak water. After several calls someone at last showed up. All the toilets were stained badly. If you face any problem, there would be no one to help. So beware of their maintenance team. I would not recommend.
the cabin was amazing and the view was beautiful. we could go for walks in the backyard, relax in the hot tub and chill by the fire with that amazing view right there. The cabin is super comfortable and has every thing you need to have a good time.
The company was extremely easy to work with and had all the information we wanted. The Waccubuck cabin was everything we could have wanted with a cabin, rainy days it had a perfect porch, sunny days had a great side porch. I will be booking again.
I had stayed at the black jack cabin with my wife and a small group of friends over the weekend. The stay at the cabin was great. It is well taken care of and cleaned. The Encounters with the staff over email were always very easy to work with and quick with responses. The main thing to keep in mind for this cabin is that the end of the driveway is alittle steep and rough. but it is well worth it for this amazing cabin.
The company overall is a complete knock out of the park. This is our second time staying with Buffalo Lodging and I feel as though the communication was on point. I have a few reasons that I did not rank higher.
Cons: The house we stayed in (Dragonfly) needed some attention. The biggest sell for us on the house was the fact that it had a swing-set, however a few of the steps on the ladder were broken and dangerous. The weather stripping around the front door was in need of replacing as you could it s been torn off or picked at. The door leading to the deck, the deadbolt did not lock at all. The fireplace was not the normal fireplace we have encountered when staying in a cabin. We tried to turn it on and the propane tank was pretty empty. I knew that if we wanted to use the grill we would need to request one but I didn t know that we needed one for a fire inside so that was a let down. No fault of Buffalo Lodge, but since this is a dog friendly cabin, our pups came with us and we were able to enjoy 3 days of great walks, however an owner of one of the nearby houses had two jack russles that they did not keep on a leash that kept coming too close to the Dragonfly property as we were outside with our dogs (who were on leashes) and made our multiple walks a day, come to an end, but again... no fault of Buffalo Lodging. Finally, one of the basement bedrooms had a very large dent in the wall where the drywall was cracked and in need of repair. The only reason I point these things out is because of the money that is spent nightly, these things could easily be fixed.
Pros: This cabin fit my family of 8 and our 3 dogs very comfortably. It was so nice that my family could all sit in one room and watch a movie. We had so much room that no one felt crowded. We enjoyed many meals at the stunning dinner table. Everything was extremely clean and the decore was beautiful. Having the basement with two rooms and a common room to watch tv was amazing considering we have two little ones who wake up very early and we were able to keep them occupied without waking the rest of the family. Being able to do laundry was a huge plus. The yard was such a nice size that we threw the frisbee around, played some softball, and even played a little kickball. The fire pit was perfect. Most of all this property was great since it was so close to all of the caves and hiking trails.
Overall we look forward to planning another trip to Hocking Hills using Buffalo Lodging.
We stayed at millers outpost it was such a great cabin for our family. We had problems with the hot tub the first night and they had someone out to fix it early the next morning. Plenty of towels for everyone. Kitchen was well stocked with pretty much everything we needed to cook while we was there. Only thing that could use improvement is the living room furniture. It was a little warn and you could feel the boards in the back of the couch. Other than that it was perfect.
We have stayed with Buffalo Lodging several times now and have always had an amazing experience! The Mrs. & I just took a weekend getaway at Sleepy Hollow cabin and it was perfect!
Had a great weekend in the Liberty Lodge and came home very relaxed. That is until I received a very short email from Buffalo Lodging Company on Monday stating that we "broke" their ping pong table and my credit card was immediately charged $400. Not one person in our adult crew recalled "breaking" the table. We did have to rotate the table 45 degrees in order to use it as the location it was original set up in did not allow for much room on one side of the table. Even in rotating, we could not have caused a chunk to break off under the net bracket mounts as they are claiming as the floors are hardwood and the table is on wheels so rotating was smooth. If anyone in our group would have broken the table, we would have gladly paid to have it replaced. I was only notified of the charge via a brief email and one photo, not once did anyone call me. When I called to dispute, I was told the owner of the cabin would call me back. They did not call back so I emailed them expressing my displeasure with how they are handling the situation. They've responded to a couple emails and stated that they trust their 2 cleaning people who inspect the cabins and that they never noticed damage before. All responses from the company were very short and they basically just said to dispute it with my credit card.
While the cabin was nice, I will not do business with this company again. RENTERS BEWARE!!!! Inspect every inch of your cabin the moment you get there and report it to them immediately. Move every piece of furniture, use every appliance, TEST EVERYTHING. Otherwise you'll just get a short email after checking out and your credit card charged.
Beautiful location. Looooved not having cell service or WiFi. Extremely peaceful. We had everything we needed for a weekend in the woods. The cabin itself needs some updating (drip pans in the kitchen were.... old, and the stairs leading to the hot tub look like moldy carpet ) and some of the utensils in the drawers were also dirty. Oversights from previous tenants I m sure but a deep clean/dusting could do the place some good Oh, also, I might consider informing renters that the front door knob lock will turn and open from the inside even if it s locked... we almost locked ourselves out the first evening. Overall a lovely lovely trip!
Oh, Moonlit Trails, what a beautiful, cozy, comfy, location set back in the woods of Hocking Hills. My wife and I and a group of friends were looking for a new location for our annual get-together, and we found Moonlit Trails, and it exceeded our expectations.
The cabin was exactly like the pictures so beautiful and peaceful, great way to spend our anniversary. Beds are a little hard .. other than that it was perfect
Check in process was very quick and easy. Staff provided turn by turn directions to find your cabin. Cabin was very clean and well maintained. Cabin was supplied and provided with more than the basics. We were able to relax and enjoy our stay as if we were at home. Price point for a family of 5 was my biggest reason for booking with Buffalo Lodging. Will be using this lodging company again on our future stays in Hocking Hills.
We stayed a couple of days at Indian Trace and found it very clean, comfortable and enjoyable. It is a lovely and lovingly decorated cabin. We were very happy with our experience renting from Buffalo Lodging and will be staying again soon.
We had a wonderful, 3-night stay in Gamebird Cabin. We loved the property and the cabin. It was the perfect set up for our family, well-maintained, and well-stocked. Selecting and booking the cabin was easy. We will definitely be back...and for longer next time.
I almost hate to post this review b/c I'd rather keep it a secret! Fantastic stay at the Secluded Cabin. Cozy and well appointed. Highly recommend. Already planning my next stay!
Re: Firefly cabin in Logan, OH: The house was attractive, comfortable, and clean. We needed extra blankets, and these were provided the day after our arrival. Only quibble was the light over the dining table was not working.
A group of friends stayed at El Nido and we had a wonderful time. The hot tub was a big hit, and everything was clean and in working order. We had a truly memorable and positive experience overall.
We did need to bring sponges to do the dishes as there was a lack of them on site. Some of the exterior doors were difficult to open and close, but that might have been our fault more than the doors. Kitchen was a bit disorganized, but that's to be expected with so many people staying and having different opinions on where a spatula should go. Water pressure in the main bathroom left something to be desired.
Of course, these are all the most minor of nitpicks. Our party is already looking into booking a larger cabin with BLC next year. Thanks again!
This was a lovely roomy cabin. We very much enjoyed our stay. It was quiet private and well stocked. We didn't get to utilize the hot tub as it was very cold outside but it did look inviting. We also liked that it put us close to the larger cabin that all of our friends were staying in. We will be back for sure.
We had a great time at the El Nido cabin this past weekend. We definitely plan on returning and making it a family tradition. Thank you Buffalo Lodging Company for running a tight ship! It makes for a great stay in their well maintained homes.
The cabin was extremely clean and exactly what we expected! Directions for check in were simple and clear. This was our second time staying with buffalo lodging company and they will definitely be out first choice next time!
Had a great time at this cabin. The property is big and connected to a great Hocking Hills walking path. Spacious cabin, fun stuff for the kids in the lower level, nice hot tub, and well maintained.
We stayed in Cantwell Prairie Lodge. It was beautiful. It was muddy so getting to the guesthouse was tricky because there is no walkway, it is just yard. If it wasn t raining so much, this never would have been a problem. Everything was clean and ready when we arrived. Everything worked as it should. The only thing I could suggest is bring towels if you have the maximum amount of people staying. We didn t, do we had enough but if you do, there probably wouldn t be. We didn t have to call for any issues. The direct check in was very nice with the code and all doors opened as they should. I would definitely stay here again. Bring or buy wood for the two fire rings outdoors and the indoor wood fireplace. This was a great stay.
I loved this cabin. It was in such a nice area and the land was awesome. I also loved the fact that I could bring my dog and she had a blast. The location was also great and not to far from any caves! The only thing I wish was better was the water pressure in the showers. It was very hard to take a good shower but overall a great experience.
we had a wonderful cozy relaxing time at the Indian trance cabin. the decor was beautiful , the fireplace so warm and cozy..The cabin is tastefully decorated.. eclectic, We enjoyed our 7 day stay, Our dog Duke felt right at home as we did.. Thank you so much We will be back..More lamps would be the only thing i would say, due to the second bedroom going upstairs is very dark with just nightlights and the stairs are very steep... Thank you so much for sharing you cabin with us , Sincerely, & Merry Christmas Dave & Debbie LaClair
Excellently maintained, beautiful home in the woods. The home was immaculate. Check in and out was a breeze, everything was exactly as advertised and ordered. Exceeded our expectations.
Had a great time with wife, kids and mother in law celebrating our wedding anniversary and just some rest and relaxation. Hot tub wasn't working upon arrival but they jumped right on it. Took until the next day to get repaired but appreciated their efforts. Also would suggest some larger coffee cups! Overall happy with the cabin. Nice and clean!
This was the first time the wife and I used Buffalo Lodging. We stayed in the Slope Side Cabin. Very nice. Lots of trees. A creek running thru the property. Away from vehicle traffic on a no outlet road. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Definitely would stay here again.
We, along with some friends, rented the Cantwell Prairie house over Labor Day weekend. Beautiful home and property. Kids enjoyed swimming in the pool all weekend, the dogs (incredible that it was a total of $90 for 3 dogs for the entire stay!!) loved running all over yard and both kids and adults alike tried our hand at fishing. Kitchen was extremely well equipped and the extra refrigerators in the lower level as well as the house out back came in handy. Cabin also made a great base camp for checking out local hiking spots - despite the crowds, members of our group were still able to hit Cantwell Cliffs, Rock House and Old Man s Cave. Only complaint about the property would be the lack of water pressure. All said, based on this one property, we will absolutely look to book another cabin managed by Buffalo Lodging again!
