Great discounts if you can get an invite to shop there
WARNING!!!!! Someone stole my credit card info and charged 4 orders at Prana. never once were any of the orders questioned. These thieves maxed out my credit card and now PRANA is protecting them and won't tell me where they were shipped or anything. It's infuriating that all they will do is "ban the address" so this can still be done to other people. Why does this company protect thieves that stole $2500 worth of merchandise but they didn't bother to protect my or my identity??? Beware people!
They have some good deals if you get an invite. Some items can still.be pricey but they are very good quality and really last a long time.
PrAna has clothes that actually fit, bit start saving up because its not cheap. Even the company store flyer that I obtained through work did not help. Their prices are better than retail, but still pricey. I know the saying you get what you pay for but with styles changing all the time, you have to be watchful of the pocket book.
Great place for discount outdoor clothing. Only during the warehouse sale
Prana charged me $16 for the privilege of trying on a pair of yoga pants for one minute.
I ordered a pair of yoga pants from their website, was charged shipping (not surprising), and told my satisfaction was their biggest importance. When I tried the pants on, I realized they are made for Hollywood models, not real women's bodies. I put them back in the mailer, put the return label on the mailer, put it in the mail. 3 days later I received an email stating I was refunded $8 less than what I paid. When I contacted customer service, they stated that I was charged the return shipping, too.
So much for my satisfaction being important to them.
I will never, ever purchase clothing from Prana again. There is nothing ethical or yogic about that company.
It's not public store. You can't come there. Don't waste your time :(
The Prana warehouse sale has been a positive experience for me at previous years sales but, this June 2016 was aweful on several different levels.
1. In it's infinite wisdom, Prana chose to relocate this sale at a larger building they leased for the sale located down the street from it's primary warehouse. A good choice for Prana, allowing more customers to gain access per maximum capacity code, but it didn't consider how this would affect customers. The line to enter took me over an hour to get in. Once inside I saw the line for check-out and paying was longer than I've ever seen. Since I left shortly after entering, if I had to guess from the size of the line and it's progress, I would estimate the checkout/pay line added another 15-20 minute wait. Previous years the checkout/pay line amounted to less than 5 minutes.
2. Prana's line ambassador, Andre, did an exemplary job at charming all of the attractive young mothers with babies, sending them and their girl friends to the front of the line for immediate entry at the dismay of all the patiently awaiting customers. The constant flow of mothers with baby carriages and their ontourage kept the line that wrapped around 2/3 of the building, to a stand-still. Customers were noticeably outraged at this practice but, Andre's new-found popularity and adoration from young mothers and their girl friends forced him to continue the inequitable entrance system ignoring just how much it angered other customers expecting to be treated fairly. I'm certain allowing entrance to mothers with babies only after half of the wait time would be reasonable (but, not their girl friends too who were capable of waiting just like everyone else).
3. Once inside the sale two things were apparent:
A. The inventory was disproportionately slanted in favor of female shoppers. This is good for women and girls but, many women & mothers were also shopping for men's and boys items but were short-changed with not much to choose from. Previous warehouse sales have been stocked at ratios of close to 60/40 female/male merchandise with female items dominating. However, this sale was set up closer to 80/20 female/male ratio. Most of the men I saw looked noticeably disappointed at just how little was available for them to choose from.
B. The tables were fully stocked at the sales first opening in the morning but, weren't restocked throughout the day. This was O.K. for those who stood in line 1-2 hours before the warehouse opened in the morning but, for others arriving later they were only guaranteed disappointment once inside. I arrived at 9:20AM and by 10:25AM when I entered most of the men's inventory had been picked over. I was told they would restock again before the next mornings sale but, this did nothing for the rest of the shoppers throughout the day.
Previous years sales were good for all shoppers throughout the day because staff were constantly restocking tables and transferring items shoppers elected not to buy at checkout back to the floor. I have been happy in the past being able to find many items for myself and my family. However, this year's sale was so disappointing I found nothing and walked away feeling angry with the way the sale was mishandled and upset that I wasted my time.
Good luck to you, Prana in the future. You have much to think about in turning things around and creating a positive experience once again for all of your loyal customers who've attended warehouse sales in years past. It takes decades to build trust and customer satisfaction but, you can loose it all in a series of unconscious mishaps like this one.
Love this place. To bad it's by invite only. Great place
Employee Columbia Store!!! LOVE it! Prana has some awesome workout clothes... and the rest of the store is awesome as well.
Not open to the public. You have to be part of a company that's signed up for their program AND get invited to shop their on SPECIFIC days of the year... Great business model... Guess I'll have to buy from a competitor
I only went for the sale. The first time, there was a one hour wait and I didn't have time to wait that long. I went back again a few hours later and although the selection was not the greatest, I still managed to score some deals.
This place is amazing if you get an invite. Prana, Columbia, Mountain Smith, and Sorel all at steep discounts and all in one place. Maybe it's best to leave the credit card at home, as you'll soon start finding all sorts of new fleeces, yoga pants, and more that you "need." But they've got all the latest stock set up like a regular store, and the staff are super nice and helpful.
What an amazing head office. What a vision. Amazing product amazing people
Killer location for deals. I love coming here anytime I get an invite to go!
Great prices for Columbia and Prana Products. It is an employee only store, but can be visited by others with special passes. Excellent value for high-end clothing and sportswear.
Staff is awesome and friendly. Lisa is the best, and so is the girl at the front desk.
A good selection of goods. We were happy to be able to shop there. We had hoped the prices would be even a little better. Definitely worth a visit if you can get in.
Good materials. Great design. 15% OFF code: PSLCS18
